Malibu Inn is on my list for being one of the worst motels I have stayed in. From the moment my friends and I drove onto the lot, we could hear yelling and arguing. Two parties were fighting about an incident that had previously occurred. They fought for most of the night, as I could hear yelling through the walls of our room. The hot tub, which had water in it, was filled with rocks. We were not offered any kind of refund for the unusable hot tub. I went into the lobby to get a snack from the vending machine, and the machine never gave me my snack. The person at the desk got her husband to help me, who knew no English, and basically the said they couldn't help me and told me to get some more money. Older men stood outside the doors of their rooms and would stare at us and hit on us. This freaked us out immensely. We did not even feel safe in our room, as there was a standard lock, but no dead bodlt on the door. We had to baracade the door with the small chair and the large chair in our room. The hotel room was not cheap for the value of stay we had. It was actually fairly expensive for the one night we stayed the.

It's a basic motel. Family of three. Ac worked. Enough parking. Beds decent. Friendly staff. Stayed two nights in July. Water usage was loud. Wasnt expecting anything more or less.

Had to give a star beyond my judgement. Pulled up to motel to people standing around Google eyeing us. Comments about our vehicle. Throughout the night partying and bonfire in children's playground. The room itself a different story. The sheets were still wet. They only had a throw blanket on bed. Carpets were dirty and found Vicks bottle and other things left in room. We decided to go back home at a loss. I do not recommend staying at this place no matter how affordable you think this place is.

Worst hotel I ever stayed at Priceline is where I book it though. It stated free with Fi no it did not also stated it had a pool no water in pool. The room smelled we had to buy to air frreshner to be able handle smell. The bathroom door did not shut. No blanket for the bed just a sheet. It cost 105 and worst hotel I stayed at. Try to talk to hotel worker did not want to listern awful management.

We booked here because of the price and the pool. We stayed there two nights and we asked why they hadn’t filled up the pool. They said they had painted it so they couldn’t fill it up, this is something they should’ve mentioned. Since we complained about it they said they would give us a discount next time but we won’t be coming again. We needed shampoo and toilet paper and when we asked for it they didn’t seem happy to give us some. One of the towels was dirty and hadn’t been changed before we came.

A one star motel. The extra star is for the pricing. You’ll get what you paid for on this one. No Wi-Fi despite advertising Wi-Fi. There are holes in the wall, some light switches don’t work, and the place smells. Couch smells really bad and old, bed smells too. Spend the extra $$$ get a bette place to stay. Definitely not using this place again.

We highly enjoyed our stay here. The price was fairly inexpensive, the location was good, the employees were very hospitable and nice to talk to, and our room was clean.

Tried to check in, doors locked. No one around. Had to go to another hotel and my check card wouldn't work because of a hold on my account! Held was made the day I paid for the room at Malibu but they got their money. Can't cancel either! Tried to call the number and not in service! Birthday weekend ruined. Now all weekend away can't get any money because of them. AND I lose the money I paid for the room. Horrible business.

They refused me service when I called ahead to tell them I have a service animal got it oked.

There were ROACHES and holes in the wall the door. The place was so shady, that we decided not to stay. However the man and women who run the place tried to justify the fact that every motel has roaches and refused to refund our money. I wouldn't stay here you'd be better off spending the extra money for an hotel.

I can’t even mark a star on this one had to do 1 just to post this. The room was dirty. The linens didn’t smell or look fresh. There were cigarette burns on the bath tub and bathroom counter. They were actually kind of rude. No good amenities, no ice no vending no indoor pool. I actually booked a triple bed room and when we arrived it wasn’t available. It was even kinda scary guests. We actually decided to leave and not stay. I like to feel safe, the door lock was just a twist nob. No added security. As a matter of fact, I was doing my daughters hair and 2 guys peeped thru the door crack. Yeah… scary.

Room was clean. People above we're constantly slamming doors and stomping around. People next to us we're showering or running the shower about 10 times a day and you can hear everything. My dad waited for 2 hours to check in because no one was in the office and then had to wait longer cause the room wasn't ready. But otherwise it was fine and clean. No mold and no bugs which is a big plus!

They don't have a coffee machine napkins dirty towels two queen beds with only two pillows.

This place is nice and at a reasonable price.

Made a reservation and said we would be getting there between 11:00 and midnight. When we got there a shirtless man told us there was no key and refused to talk to us any more. Eventually just let his dog bark at us as he turned off the lights. 0/5

Had to us a buzzer to get to the office. Gave a real key for room. No security lock on the door. Shower did not work. Room was ok, bed hard as a rock.

Room was very clean and the cable provided lots of channels just one small problem was the poor Wi-Fi provided.

Very poor. This place was sketchy. Very dirty and smelt bad. I wouldn't walk around bare foot in this place. The phone number they have doesn't work. They charge you for random things and you cannot contact them. It was terrible. Do not stay here. Spending the extra money to stay somewhere else would be worth it.

Um worst vacation ever… My families first time to the dells and the new owners still have this as the only description for motel… We made a reservation as it seemed a decent motel for a great price and water park free! We showed up the worst sketchy looking motel I have seen… Waiting 30 mins for owners to show up in that time we realized this place seemed to be more of a half way house with thugs and seemed to be drug deals.
. Owners did not give money back for cancelations… We were stuck there! Us and four children. Room… Night stand was missing the drawer and we had 1/2 whole tp the entire weekend so we had to buy our own as owners were never there although they lived there! We spent the entire weekend out of our our hotel sight seeing museums ECT to avoid the room and we didn't get our water park tickets! Going back at night was scary and scetchy as hell! Returned the key owner came out in boxer things i'm sorry this is how my kids got to remember their first trip to the dells! Warning. This face book is the old owners… Not current do not ever in your life give this hotel service.

The room we were in was very disappointed, we had no heat no phone no tissue fridge small two small pillow no bed spreaders. I wouldn't recommend to say there.

The Hotel's phone number is disconnected and you can NOT reach anyone that should give you a BIG CLUE! The hotel is run by a family that lives there and they are rude, not customer oriented & If you need assistance it's practically impossible to get or they pretend not to understand English. The Wi-Fi sucks unless u don't mind walking outside to the main entrance and standing outside the office to get Wi-Fi service. The hotel seems to be full of regular unsavory characters. I saw some questionable behavior going on in the parking lot & on the side of the hotel. I was worried about my safety and my vehicle. It is not a place I would want to stay at again let alone bring any kids too. My friend left her phone in the room and within a 1/2 HR she had to turn around and drive back (all the numbers listed for the hotel are disconnected! ) & they acted like they didn't know what she was talking & about& eventually said they didn't find a phone in the room BUT she had an app on it that said it was at that location! The hotel is poorly run & they staff is extremely rude & questionable… I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. You can find a better hotel in the same price range that has better customer service, better Wi-Fi & a better environment.

Giving it one star is being too generous. I don't mind family run businesses but this one was an exception. The lobby was dirty and the owners were rude when he did not agree on the price that we already paid beforehand and ignored our reservations. Very dirty and smelly place with poor maintenance and a dog was roaming free in the lobby too. Fails to think of the customers first and prioritizes family. Pool was also a joke. Had to ask for a full refund and left; we were all too scared to stay without even walking into the rooms but from what I hear they are no good either. Do NOT stay here! It is by far the worst experience I've ever encountered and is a tourist trap for visiting locals.

This was an absolute travesty! The staff was barely ever around, and when they were around, customer service and common courtesy were like foreign languages to them. When we needed help with working the shower and reporting the leaking of the bathtub, there was not only no on-site maintenance but the advertised phone number for the motel was out of service! I've never seen that before! When we finally found one of the managers/maintenance men about the shower, he stormed into our room without apologizing about the confusion and made it obvious that were inconveniencing him. Also, deadbolts on the doors are a definite safety concern, especially with some of Wisconsin Dells' riff-raff being nosy at all hours of the night. The towels for the bathrooms smelled like they were just rinsed and not washed. We will be in contact with the Better Business Bureau, the Wisconsin Department of Health, and the Wisconsin Dells Visitor Center to make sure that this is properly handled. Regardless of this motel's close proximity to the Interstate, BEWARE AT ALL COSTS!

Me and my family had a blast, nice management and right down t he street from all attractions, we will be back. Oh yeah and a bonus perk to staying here, you get Chula Vista water park passes until the day you check out. I recommend this place to anyone.

Nasty, dirty rooms and they have ROACHES! Spend a lil extra for a nice hotel. Stay away from here!

No joke, I had to wait over 4 hours to check in because the people running the hotel were in Chicago and didn't tell any other employees if there even are other employees. Everything is cheap and dirty. Stains on anything fabric.

Convenient location. Close to interstate.

Very friendly people n would definitely recommend this to people hearts of gold greetings and rooms clean.

Worst place ever! Roaches crawling on the walls, horrible smells in the room! The blankets smelled like spray cleaner. The bathrooms had stuff all over ew! Worst of it all I let the owners know and they didnt care! I talked to other people who stayed and they were saying how they were grossed out and leaving the next day as well! 07/17/15 is when I stayed. Stay away.

The owners are kind and are there to provide what you need. The best thing is you get free Chula Vista waterpark passes — so it's an amazing deal. The rooms are clean and warm, the shower is hot, they give you a microwave to heat up your yummy leftovers, and there is free decent Wi-Fi. Bring your own shampoo though. Walls are thin so it could be loud depending on your neighbors. I'd definitely go back for a simple but pleasant stay in the Dells.
