Candlewoods and their damn motion sensing thermostats. 10:30 pm, I need to be up in 5 hours, and it is 78 damn degrees and humid as hell in here. This is the most expensive Candlewood I've ever stayed at, and they are to tight, to allow us to have a cool room to come back to, after sweating our b@@! s off all day, out in the sun… This is what I expect a Super 8 to be like, not an IHG property!

Very nice and accommodating. Not to pricey either. The hallways did smell like old people cologne.

This Candlewood is very nice and seems to be brand new; love the great tilework in the lobby. Great workout room, larger than your normal hotel. Always a fan of the free laundry, as our laundry day was way overdue. Loved the fact that we were able to cook a meal using all the pots, pans and cutlery available in the kitchenette. The lobby has additional items such as crock pots and blenders as well. Love being able to check out a DVD downstairs. Well-stocked 24 hr store. Fast and friendly staff, spotless rooms and comfortable bedding make this hotel a total win for us as well. Thanks for the great hospitality. 10/10

We are so thankful that they accept pets! We have a little 4-pound chihuahua and the accommodations were perfect in the room!

Slow check-in… bad door keys… next to road so quiet room request was denied of course!

Hotel stay was great. Gym was nice but treadmills were whack. Besides that. Everything was perfect.

Clean, comfortable. Not the best value when comparing cost vs amenities.

Worst customer service ever. I have been placed on hold several times when I called their hotel. I've had to hang up because they've left me on hold. Your better off booking online or elsewhere.

Bed was comfy. Service friendly. Refrigerator was leaking. Mentioned it to them they might want to look at it when we left the following day. Was late and after driving over 24 hours was exhausted and just wanted sleep. (Was an overnight stay). Reason for the stars? When my husband and I got into bed I laid my head on the pillow and smelled women's perfume. Opposite side smelled normal. Fitted sheet at my feet was untucked which tells me the sheets was not changed. Was so exhausted I put a towel over the pillows and went to sleep. So, if the manager sees this review… TELL HOUSE KEEPING TO CHANGE THE SHEETS AND NOT JUST STRAIGHTEN THEM! GROSS! Other than those two things, the room was nice.

Beautiful suites with 2 full sized beds. Nice kitchen.

The rooms are usual nothing extraordinary, overall very clean and the location is very convenient.

Nice clean location, parking lot was recently redone. Inside lobby was very decent, they had a snack/ food store inside and a place to use different types of items (blender, waffe iron, sports ball etc). The room was very nice for the cheap price paid. Clean with a good layout. Had a kitchenette. Decent sized bathroom with good pressure and hot shower. Staff was friendly apon arrival, even when it was just after midnight. Very happy stay!

Great location for Oktoberfest. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Got in a bit before check in which was helpful.

I thought this hotel was really nice. The beds were nicely made, and the bathrooms are clean. They have a lot of different stations on television so I was able to watch pretty well everything I want to see and the front desk staff was very nice. They give us Flyers to let us know about all of the activities in the area. I would definitely stay here again. Also if you have a pet they do allow dogs.

We have visited this candlewood suites on many occasions in the past and we're always delighted with the service and facilities. This stay was a little different though. We arrived and the front desk woman was pleasant enough but generally seemed annoyed. All of the staff seemed a little off and not as cheerful as in the past. There were minor annoyances with the room like a toilet that ran for longer than it should but otherwise it was an acceptable stay.

We only stayed one night and that was enough for us. The room seemed to me to be clean. The issues were that we requested 2 queen beds and received a king bed and the pullout bed they promised us never arrived so 3 men had to sleep on a king bed. Then we asked for sheets which we didn't receive because the keys were locked in a closet. To make up for it they said we could have up to $15 of food for free from their convenient shop in the hotel, but everything from the bagels to poptarts to juice was expired and/or moldy. So we just have them the food back, checked out and left. Hopefully it was an isolated incident, but we won't be back.

Very nice place! The gal that check us in upgraded us to a honeymoon suite because my girlfriend & was fighting? She thought it would help! It didn't! Thanks anyway!

I sincerely enjoyed my stay at Candlewood suites. I thought the location was central to everything I needed in La Crosse. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and the kitchenette was very useful and cut down the cost of the overall trip. One bonus was that washing my laundry was complementary. The service desk was helpful and friendly. The only draw back was that housekeeping only services the rooms once a week and upon request.

No comment. I went out side to smk a cig and 5min later the cops showed up saying their were people going in and out of the rm. Ya me smkin a cig.

Great hotel: very clean, super friendly staff, great location (right next to Festival Foods Grocery store). Every room has a 2 burner stove top, full sized fridge, dishwasher, plates/utensils/glasses. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. It is also VERY quiet. No obnoxious noisy guests. I stay here every time I visit my son who goes to school at UW-Lacrosse.

Nice place, the first room they gave us hadn't been cleaned, but the employee on duty was really quick to get us a new room. Other than that, it's not bad.

Had a king suite and was blown away by the size. Very nice room with many comforts of home. Enjoyed the near-downtown location. Good experience.

Room was very nice. Clean and comfortable. I did have several issues that made my stay unenjoyable. I brought the issues to the management's attention and they were quickly addressed.

Nice place but the only over is from the ice maker in your freezer, which doesn't helpWhen you get there. Heat was one of those that only goes on when there is movement and it didn't get the room very warm Also, when the air kicked on so it would be cooler for sleeping, the noise woke me up a couple times.

Very nice hotel. Rooms were clean and spacious, loved the small kitchen. I was in La Crosse on business for three weeks and it was the perfect set up for an extended stay. The staff was great and helpful, the rates were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend staying here.

They have a great, friendly staff and a clean room. The price is also very reasonable.

Very nice rooms, love the kitchen. Bummer that there's no breakfast, but the pantry is pretty nice. Definitely would stay again!

I enjoyed the room and the service. The hotel is fairly new so it's very clean. My only complaint is that the walls are thin. You can hear everything going on in adjacent rooms.
