Very rude staff no heat lots of people dont have heat in room toilet was lifting off ground and would not flush mold in shower invasion of our privacy by coming in room to clean and took pictures of everything with their phones sinks clogged walls are very durty. When we first stayed there was vomit in the sink pee on the toilet smoke detectors not working very bad Wi-Fi and cable hoes in and out our heater was falling of the wall can not have any friends during the day in the room or it is automatically kick you off the property and not refund you. Will not stay here anymore. They dont take care of there guest and just tells you lies.

I love this motel this is the second time for me being here. Staff are very friendly and room r clean and decent as well. I would strongly recommend here staying.

I don't care if they leave the lights on or not! What a dive! I'll go across the street and pay 20 bucks more for a clean room.

I enjoyed my stay here even thou it wasn't long. I want to especially say thank u to tessa one of the workers there 4 helping me out. I really appreciated it. Thank u 4 giving me a good stay. Keep up the great job.

Motel6 Jansville is for me a good place to spend some quality time. I stay here regularly and the thing I have noticed is that the owner is a good person and the main reason why people keep coming back to this Motel. This is a good motel which requires and is improving. The effort of the staffs and the owner of the place makes this Motel special. It has numerous flaws but is improving and always has been a decent Motel.

He Motel is good enough to stay. I stayed here for two days with my wife. If you are coming here, I would ask to see the rooms available first. We looked at 2 before announcing yes. The cleanliness is good or average, needs improvement. But the front desk staffs and the owner himself made our stay a sweet one.

This was by far the worst hotel/motel stay I have ever had. The towel rack and shower head where falling out of the wall. The bathroom door and shower door both did not close. The corners of the bathroom were broken and looked to be moldy. The desk had drill holes in it and I think the room maids left their universal key in our room as it was labeled by name and was on a wrist strap. The room had flies and we found a couple ants in our beds. The sheets had signs of wear and tear and were patched in certain areas. Towels were uncomfortable and the soap provided was terrible. When we returned to our room Saturday evening after our turn-down service our door was not closed. The deadbolt was still in place to prop the door open. You could walk by and push the door open. The amount of noise coming from other tenants Sunday morning was enough to wake us all up at 5:30. I understand people had different schedules, but the fact that we could hear every word they said was unacceptable. The room smelled of mold and affected our sinuses causing congestion and discomfort. I understand this is meant to be a "budget" option, but at the price I paid for each night at this dump, it was not worth it.

Recently I visited Motel 6 Janesville with my family. We were there for a family gathering. My over all experience was good. We received good hospitality services. Staff was very helpful and polite. Rooms were cleans and beds were comfy too. We definitely recommend them to our family and friends for sure.

It was OK, if you didn’t expect too much. We like that they accepted our dogs. It was a bit noisy through the night. Next door and upstairs. Every Motel 6 is different. All I can say is it was fine for one night. But would look for something a bit better for a longer stay.

Location of motel 6 is acceptable, can go walking to convenience store and Walmart. Rooms are organized and have basic living conditions; however, room does not have own hair dryer and ironing station. Other than that, room is good as it is. The service of motel 6 is good. They provide you with free coffee each morning at the reception. Staff is respectful and helpful when needed. Overall, great stay for people on a budget. Clean and organized rooms.

The door is broken, the night stand has food and drink rings on it, bathroom floors are filthy, shower is dirty, shower head plate not attached to wall, floors sticky with spills next to the bed, desk is sticky, nothing has been wiped or washed off! Young man who checked us in was kind and gave us extra pillows and blankets upon request. The room looked like it’s pictures. I don’t care if things are old but it DOES NOT HAVE TO BE DIRTY!

I did stay at this hotel awhile ago and was not happy. Smell of Marijuana, mold in the bathroom and stained covers on the bed. This time this was the only hotel in town available and after driving for 6 hours I was tired. Heard that the rooms were renovated… no they are not. Still dirty and run down. Still mold in the shower and gross covers. The smell of urine was in the room. Also dead bugs on the floor. There is a no smoking policy so I went to my car to smoke had some random lady ask me for a cigarette and then 2 minutes later another lady asked if I could drive her to the social security office. The people who stay here are sketchy. The housekeepers are loud going from room to room, yelling to get each other's attention (unprofesional). Now I can see paying $45 at the most for this hotel but $90 is ridiculous. Figured they could jack the price up since it was the only hotel left… pathetic. I looked on their website today and it's still $80 with tax. Not worth it. Next time I will make the little 35 minute to Madison and stay someplace there. Oh I almost forgot… the air conditioner is terrible loud and it leaks inside the room and on the outside of the door. You really need to update this place and the housekeepers need to actually clean the rooms not just wipe them down. If you actually had a better establishment you would have better clientele and not have so much trouble there. I know this place has the police there often.

Your front desk attendant was very nice and very helpful. The motel and it's rooms look like a crack house. We spent less than 1 minute in the room before we checked out. When I called and you said it was renovated last year and it's quite nice, maybe you should say we changed a couple light covers, but everything else in the room is original from when it was built probably close to 40 years ago. This just was a very disappointing experience. Should just charge by the hour cause that's what the place looks and feels like!

Absolutely the worst experience ever! 2 hours from home for work, got rained out, returned to my hotel room, keys didn’t work, informed I was locked out due to the strong smell of marijuana. Wouldn’t give me my belongings, I had to call the police. MInd you I’ve NEVER done a drug in my life, NOT EVER!

Staff is delightful. The room was what you expect from a budget motel chain.

OK for a bare bones operation, but very tired and worn. The only amenity of note was the Wi-Fi every thing else was absolute minimum. The area felt safe enough. If you're on a really tight budget you can get this level of accommodation much cheaper at one of the Mom and Pops.

Hotel is supposed to be smoke free … very obvious that it wasn't. I refused the first room because it smelled so bad. Very bare bones… No blanket or tissues. No idea where the ice was located. Paper thing walls, I could hear the phone people in the next room, both talking and the telivision. In the morning the housekeeping carts were noisey and the entire floor shook.

My room was spic n span, clean towels etc, everything just fine. Easy to park right outside my door. For the price I was so pleased, to find it has a fridge and microwave. I only gave it a four because the floors were slippery for my dog. Still very good to allow dogs.

Reasonable rate but toilet leaked and ran water all night, room was very drafty and heater did not work well!

Scummy, skeevy, filled with drug addicts. I don't stay here but I work near here and we were privy to the colorful cast of characters that are known to stay here.

My at Motel 6 was acceptable very simple yet very comfortable the room had everything I needed I was very pleased with the service.

The room was clean. The bed was o. K. The staff was very nice.

When I called the man who booked my room was very friendly and helpful! But as soon as I got there the woman at the front desk was… grouchy to put it kindly. Which was fine, we got our room and went in, the wax ring was broken on the toilet, and you could see through the door frame (letting in some cold air). It wasn’t too bad a problem I just put the heater up higher to offset the cold draft. Heater worked great! I’d say it’s a great cheap place to stay a couple hours on a road trip. Thanks for reading.

Didn’t like the rooms being so small for double beds and there aren’t extra plugin outlets between the two beds! Not a fan of the hard wood floors and the showers need to have more water pressure and updated!

Sheets looked like they were reset but not changed, bathroom door didn't close, left my phone in the room after check out and when I went back it was mysteriously gone right after housekeeping had left. Was visiting from Ohio and had to go buy a new phone just to get home that day. Even when I called to ask if someone could grab my phone from the room a half hour after leaving, I was told "you can come look yourself but we don't".

Rooms were very clean. Beds were probably 15 years old and we'll used. Springs directly into your back. Wouldn't ever stay again.

It was horrible first off when I got in the room there where two bugs I've never seen before. I just thought they flew in when I opened the door so I just got rid of them so then I look at the bed and there's stains on the top sheet so I take it off and there's hair and stains on that sheet so I just took all the covers off the bed and told them I need a whole set of new sheets which I had to go get and she apologized about the sheets so I got the sheets went back to the room and I had to pee so I went to use the toilet and I lifted the lid and there was tissue in the toilet then came out the bathroom to be greeted by three more bugs they were coming from by the a. C. Unit so I put a towel to cover the hole where they was coming in at I sleep in my clothes with the lights on so you can imagine how much sleep I got. Don't waste your money I'm telling you. Go somewhere else like I am. Hell no this place.

Well the beds where made but when I pulled the sheets down there was used toilet paper in between the sheets. The shower looked like it needed a good cleaning. One microwave and small frig. No coffee maker, or tissue paper. Really disappointed with the room for 74.00 I expected a little nicer room. Will never come back and would warn others looking for a good night's sleep to go elsewhere. This seems to be a place for unruly construction ass holes.

I booked a double bed room. We arrived late evening after traveling all day. The outside atmosphere appeared to look like a homeless shelter. People with questionable activities, people walking around with a baby in rain, people screaming at each other, etc. Upon entering room, their were flies all over the room, I viewed two bugs on the floor and most of all there was a horrendous bad smell in room. It smelled like something had decomposed in this room. I informed attendant and she gave us another room. That room did not have that horrendous snell but definitely did not have a clean smell. The floors were not swept, I had to wash out the shower just to use it, I killed the flies in the room, door had to be lifted for dead bolt to work. I am very very unhappy with thus place especially after traveling all day. I will never return to Motel 6 in Janesville. Wi. Nor should anyone else. I truly like to be reimbursed.

This Motel 6 is easily accessible from the Interstate. There is plenty of parking near the room. The rooms facing the interstate are fairly quiet. My room was very clean. The bathroom was super clean. I had two bars of soap but to shampoo.

Bed was dirty, shower pressure and hot water were livable. Probably need a few more staff members. The staff is good, room was cheap and the blankets were thin, but I had an AC so I'd say it was a good room. Paid $75 after tax on 7-5-17

For being a cheap motel, it was not bad. The staff was all very nice, and the bed was decently comfortable. The bathroom looked like it had been recently redone, too, which was nice. My only complaints were the lack of alarm clock in the bedroom and the bathroom sink was a bit dirty, but not terrible enough to gross me out by any means — but hey, it's a cheap motel and I expected much worse than I got. Overall, pleasantly surprised and would stop here again if I'm on a budget and in a hurry.

Pros: Wifi worked. Decent speed too. Shower head was decent. Hot water. Cons: Bed was terrible. Lumpy and hard mattress. Pillows were so-so. Linens were in short supply in the room. Massive amounts of light coming in the room, curtains did little to help even at night. No mini-fridge (the website says "some rooms equipped") Noisy at all hours. Hard to access by car and to your room. No microwave (1 at front desk) Shower was horrid. Clean but barely enough room to stand and turn around. Like an airplane bathroom. TV very limited, phone is archaic. Not many electric outlets. Lighting is not user friendly. (layout, controls) Furniture was old and starting to break, one chair was unusable, bed was well worn. I paid under $70 on a weekend and it was not worth half that. I know this is a cheap motel and the the Ritz but this place is bad, all around. Pay a few extra dollars, go elsewhere.

Great customer service and good rates. For a budget friendly motel the customer service was great, from Rave the owner, the girls at the desk, to the housekeepers, they couldn't have been nicer. It is not the Ritz, but I got way more than what I paid for. It was clean, had table and chairs, microwave, mini fridge/freezer, no coffee pot, but have coffee at the office. Bed was comfortable. What more could a working girl ask for. Stayed here 2 weeks, and was given a decent weekly rate. They do have adjoining rooms for families.

No door weather seals, dents on the inside of door, can see through between the door and frame needs another paint job, we are next to 3 people that live in the next room, 2 guys and a girl, with a baby, smoking weed (skunk weed). Not to sure how clean the floors are either. Mold between the toilet and shower. Dirt on the floor between the shower and floor. If we were not so tired we would take off.

It's priced a little high for what is here, but my room was clean and I had a tub so all good :) the area is a little sketchy. …

Mostly decent, air conditioner turned on and off in a noisy and annoying manner throughout the night though. Not a deal breaker (for me), but something to be aware of.

I would never ever recommend this place anyone! Everything about it is disgusting! Beds I swear are 20 plus years old and so very uncomfortable. It's smells so bad of cigarette smoke it's unreal! Rooms are tiny. I can't find anything positive to say. Trust the reviews.

Stay away drug dealers and drunks live there the cops arrested a guy and said they would not reccomend this place to anybody that we should check out and go elsewhere if we staying that night but we were already leaving horrible place to stay.

The price was great for the room, but there were dead bugs all over the floor in the corners. There were also stains all over the second blanket. It also snowed at this location making the hallways extremely slippery and the stairs as well. They would benefit for better flooring for traction or simply adding salt when a winter storm comes along.

The night clerk was asleep when we arrived for our reservation, then took several minutes to wake her up. When she did wake up she seemed pretty bothered that we were there, despite our having a reservation. The registration was very cumbersome & seemed like a hassle. When we got to our non-smoking room & opened the door it smelled like we'd walked into a bar (stale beer & cigarettes). The room wasn't dirty, just kind of grungy. Like that old pair of white socks that'll never be white again. Next time we'll stay somewhere else, or with family.

Cheap clean offramp inn. Price is fair but go in knowing the rooms are small and very basic.

Very polite friendly staff, clean rooms very nice housekeeping services the manager Robbie was very helpful and polite, very reasonably priced, close location to grocery stores, restaurants and more. Pet friendly is another plus the best that we stayed at in the area.

Just wonderful. Room was extremely clean. Everything worked. Also we had car trouble and had to wait for a tow. Very accommodating.

Don't sleep here unless u want to sleep in someone else's pee. Room smelled like pee and there was food and food wrappers I'm my bed. Yuck.

Older hotel but room was super clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. A great deal for the money. They even gave us a little package of dog biscuits for our mini schnauzer! Would definitely stay there again.

Great motel for the price. The Motel 6 in Janesville is quite clean and quiet compared to other Motel 6's that I've stayed at. Also, the desk personnel were American, so you could understand them.

Best motel 6 ever, stone counter tops, so clean, great lighting, and so friendly, complete and total opposite of the motel 6 dump in Toledo. This place is really getting the bang for your buck. Pets always welcome! Ruled.

We stayed here for a week and it was a good stay. The hotel is old but its clean and well kept. The rooms are small but that was okay for us. The staff was friendly and helpful if we needed anything. The Wi-Fi service was good as well. There is a guest laundry which is small but clean and does a good job.
