Great place, clean rooms, 24hr pool. 1 star is because of the customer service/owners are bullies. Upon arrival we were offered an upgrade (did not ask for upgrade). We were told the upgrade would be the same price as original room. So we said yes. When we checked out we were not only charged for the nicer room but charge for changing rooms. The cost we were quoted and the cost we ended up paying had $130 difference. When trying to negotiate the owner became more and more of bully and became very hostile. So we were forced to pay the extra cost. So never staying here again. I will not stand for being bullied.

The hotel is very modern. The suite was fantastic; I've never seen two King beds in one room. There was a party room and a pool. It was a little hard to find with all of the construction but overall a great place.

I have not been here in years. The room was always very good. I never reserved a room. The night clerk always was so kind, and gave me a decedent price.

They post signs they accept outside guests to pay for pool and then they don’t allow it. Not looking to disturb anyone. Just wanted to pay late night to use hot tub. Very rude front desk employees. Nice hotel and enjoy staying here. But very dissapointed in their customer service.

Stayed 4 nights. Clean and well maintained. Comfortable room, everything worked. Very nice pool area. Mattress & bedding were acceptable, but nothing special. (Would've got 5 stars with a better bed). Would definitely recommend Super 8 Hudson.

This place is beyond horrible! Overly priced, staff was rude. Room was small. Got told was going in and out too much. Its a non smoking motel and I smoke cigarettes and im gonna go outside as much as I want to to have a cigarette. Ridiculous!

I rented the 2 King bed Jacuzzi suite. Was quiet and a decent place to sleep. The pool is awesome and open 24 hours which is why my family enjoys returning to this location. Unfortunately an intoxicated group of 4 sitting by the public Jacuzzi cut my kids time much shorter then we had liked at the pool, swearing and threatening behavior from the small party in the corner. Can't believe management allowed this as cameras were Right above them. Otherwise nice. Delicious waffles.

It was nice, until I checked out and discovered that they charged me$75 for nothing. I called to see why, I was told it was for smoking in the room… really, well I don't smoke, so how is this possible? They refused to fix the problem, and STOLE $ 75 of my money… it's robbery, and nothing I can do about it. What BS.

Was picking up friends for a work event, it seemed to be well kept and clean. The front desk guy was helpful and had a good sense of humor. I also appreciate that they let dogs stay. It's a bit dated, though.

Not only did this place charge us twice for our stay, and the front desk argued with us about it even though we had our bank pulled up on the phone showing we were charged twice. If it's not off by Monday they're will be a dispute. The hot tub had issues all weekend; The temperature reached 120 degrees and then the jets stopped working. The rooms were very stuffy, the blankets were thin, the carpet and bedding are very outdated. Not worth $84 a night. At all.

Nice. Better than what you'd expect from a Super 8! They should really think of changing the name to reflect the upgraded quality!

If this place could have negative reviews I would rate it a negative 2 at best. The owners were rude in our attempt to throw our 1 year old a party, we rented a room which all of our guests were confined in during the party. At the end we were told we needed to pay an additional 80 dollars because we had more than 15 guests in the party room which we had already rented. When we argued that those were not terms to which we had agreed, they threatened to charge a different family members credit card that the had on file. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

I will never give this place business again. The owners WAY over charged us to use their breakfast room for a party. Only about 15 people swam but they charge us for people just swinging by to say happy birthday. We paid for the room but they wanted an extra charge for EVERY GUEST. What is the point to pay for a party room? They were not nice to work with, they made me cry by stopping us on the way out and charging us 80.00 dollars on top of the 160.00 we already paid. We cleaned up after ourself and we're mindful of the other guests. Noone in my family will be returning here again.

The front desk is not manned very often, even around check in time. The rooms are small but clean. Bathroom was recently updated with the new curved shower curtain rod but it was obviously on the cheaper side and the wall hadn't been touched up yet. Drain was very slow too, stood in a couple inches of water while I showered. Breakfast was nothing too exciting, nothing hot. Free Wi-Fi was a plus and the pool area looked nice. Good location.

It was great staying her for Yom Kippur. Pool is over-chlorinated, and staff hard to find at times. Otherwise fit the bill for convenience.

Good place to stay over night but not much more. Pool and Whirlpool was dirty.

Friendly helpful staff. The hotel we had booked gave our room away and the staff here was willing to help us and get us the best possible rate. The rooms were clean. I would definitely stay again.

The facility is ok. Outdated for sure. The breakfast is ok. The pool is clean, however has a lot of chlorine. The maids need to search rooms better when cleaning. I opened a drawer to find a used crack pipe. Not real impressed with that. Glad my children didn't find it. The staff are friendly. Price was good for the area comps.

Pretty dirty place and our blankets had stains and the place smelled awful. Terrible customer service, pretty much ignored our requests. The pool was salt water though which was awesome, only reason they get 2 stars.

We were looking for a relatively inexpensive place to stay on our trip from WI to MN and after reading several reviews we chose the Baldwin Super 8. On first appearance the hotel seemed pretty well kept for being surrounded by vacant buildings. The room itself was just ok, beds way too soft, tossed and turned all night. What appeared to be mold stains on the shower curtain and unfinished remodeling (brackets and screws present from previous decor) and the view from the room was that of one of the abandoned buildings. The continental breakfast was decent, love a good waffle maker, the staff was friendly and helpful and there was a nice little garden out back. The pool area was clean and convenient with great hours. Overall, probably only going back as a last resort.

Absolutely disgusting room. Looks like it hasn't been cleaned at all. There is stuff all over the floor and counter tops. We will never stay here again.

Rip off! told my driver that CLC Lodging Card was denied and asked to put it on my credit card. CLC charged me $72.00 and my Visa is charged $88.38. When asked to straighten it out I was given the run around. I promise this OWNER fix it or ill ride 14 hours to park my motorcycle in your office till I am refunded the $88.38 Plus my time for coming after you!

The 24 hour pool was yhe the deciding facto5 for choosing the super 8 in hudson wi.

Great rooms, great service, great indoor pool and hot tub, nicely decorated lobby. Close to shopping and food. Great truck parking (18 wheeler).

Nice hotel in appearance. The pool area was clean and well kept. They need to fix their exterior door entrances as our room keys would not work at the entrance by our room or from the smoking area outside by the pool. Is and all the other guests had to walk in the cold all the way around to the other side of the building in wet swim wear.

Worst customer service! Not family friendly! Oh and they will rip you off. Avoid at all costs! If management was different it would be decent. They will yell and argue with you to the bitter end. We left pissed off with kids crying. Again, just go to the Quality Inn next door.

Had a fantastic stay! Early checkin was a breeze. Clean rooms.

The room was clean and well laid out. It had a microwave and refrigerator which were also clean. There was an old vending machine for popcorn, which was appreciated, but the machine and accompanying microwave were filthy. The outsides were covered with grease, presumably from the popcorn. There was a lot of work being done on the hotel, and the front door was less accessible than it should have been. The problems were not big. I felt safe and clean, and the staff was attentive.

It was a typical Super 8. Comfortable bed, TV worked fine and the toilet flushed. Nothing special, check-in was nice, check-out easy. I didn't have breakfast or use any facilities.

I canceld my reservation 10 minutes after initally reserving our room only to find out the girl who reserved our room failed to cancel. We got charged over $100 and would not give us our refund. I am VERY mad and disapointed with Super 8!

Cleaning lady was very rude to our family and left a nasty note on the mirror. Management was not friendly and said we had to be out from 9am to 4pm because the cleaning lady might come anytime. Not the worst motel I have ever stayed in but far from a good experience.

Management is rude and extremely overbearing. I could deal with their crap at a Hilton, its a Super 8 stay out of customers business. Find somewhere else to stay.

I've stayed here twice in the last few weeks when I'm in the area, and haven't had a problem with anything. Staff is great, rooms are clean. Will stay here again.

Cheap and clean room with lame continental but the glorious 24 hr pool gives it 5 stars.

Go to comfort suites way nicer hotel mangement and for same price. Comfort suites is around$63 super 8 lady is very rude. They try to charge you more than what was told. The real lady that owns it watches you like a hawk.

My family and I stayed here for about 1 week and had extremely great service and had much fun with the pool and the rooms themselves are better quality then any hotel I've been to. They were exceptionally nice and currently working as hard as possible to ensure customer satisfaction for a modest price. We constantly visit Hudson and stay here every time from now on.

This was the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. They harassed my girlfriend and I about smoking in the room and we do not smoke. There was a creepy middle eastern manager that trued entering our room when the door was locked. When I went to the desk to find out why this creepy guy trued entering our room we were treated badly and they cursed at my girlfriend and I. I would not stay at this motel ever again, even if they paid me $1000 to stay there. The hotel is falling apart and stinks like sewer. Rooms are very cold as is the staff. They steal from your room! STAY AWAY FROM THIS MOTEL FAR AWAY.
