Customer service at the front desk is extremely rude… Susan or Karen is the absolute incompetent jerk of a person and I will forever continue to express my disappointment with her gross attitude.

Really neat rooms with a rustic feel. Friendly staff. Decent price.

It’s a little pricey, but the accommodations are good, for me it’s just a place to sleep, but if you’re visiting, it’s great place.

Excellent place to have an event. Our daughter's wedding celebration was held here and the staff were amazing, food was excellent. We couldn't have had a better experience. Thank you very much to everyone that helped to make our daughter and son-in-laws wedding celebration weekend so wonderful.

Wonderful historic Hudson at its best!

It's sort of quite, Great little cafe and food, But they need to figure out who is in each room. I had some guy walk in our room, While I was half naked and my husband was in bed yet. Omg!

Best Hotel in all of the Midwest! Old school Wisconsin, family operated, good food, great bar, and a dinner theater!

Cozy place to stay. Close to St. Paul and Minneapolis MN. St. Croix River within walking distance with plenty of things to do. Historical landmarks, boating, fishing, swimming. Plenty of stores of all types close by. Lyft and Uber are iffy at this time.

How does this place have four stars? It was probably very nice in 1960. The high ratings must come from time travelers. I stopped here because Minneapolis was booked. Don’t pull back the mattress covers, yikes, Lots of skin and human hair and food crumbles that date back 30+ years. Old, musty, and nothing is updated, beds, carpet, walls, lights all over half century old. Feels old and dirty, scared of a bed bug outbreak.

Only visited to meet a doctor in one of the rooms. The hotel hallways were pretty warm on a hot day. They had a musty smell. Looking at the ceiling there was evidence of cracking and water leakage. Small room we used was nice, conditioned space. Tgey dud have a pool. Also vending machines, but the one with candy was out of order. Overall I would stay, but only if the price was right…

We spend our New years there! We love this place. Great deal with dinner and play. We also stay the night. Great price for what you get.

We loved it. The room we stayed in had a cabin look and feel to it. We would definitely stay again.

The hotel is older but very clean, and the staff is awesome, Brittany, and Mary you do an amazing job thanks.

We went to the bar at the Hudson house for the first time in over 20 years. I was impressed, the old dark and dingy look is gone and a lighter more open look prevails. Competitive prices and good atmosphere should help this establishment in the future.

We live close so come to use the pool as paid guests. Sometimes on weekends they will not let us use it because they have a full house or parties. Aside from that it's nice to be able to come and use the pool. The hotel is a bit run down and can smell like mold and sometimes you can see it but the pool area is pretty good and it's a Hudson Historical place so like to support it.

Event we attended was wonderful. Went to the hotel bar and found the bartender had horrible customer service and seemed annoyed that we were there. When we complained to the front desk staff, the reply was, "she's been here for a long time guys, like since the 80s. " As if that's an excuse for treating people poorly. Would not recommend.

Stayed her for Valentine's day. Very nice place! Our suite had a Jacuzzi in it, which was extremely nice and soothing. Hotel also had free breakfast which was very delicious.

Been going here for 20 years on and off to meet up with family in the area. Kids love the pool. Laid back friendly staff.

Nice clean rooms and friendly staff. Absolutely loved that they had made to order breakfast included and it was very fast service! I would recommend this place to anyone looking in the area for a hotel!

The amenities are great. The breakfast is a fun twist on continental, giving you a short menu to choose from and having fresh food prepared for you. All the employees I interacted with were lovely.

Place is nice and quiet. Rooms are clean. They have a really nice pool area and an open floor gym area. The bar has pool tables and darts so that's always nice. The cafe portion needs better hours Siri.

Everyone was friendly. The breakfast included was at the cafe, not just continental and very quick. The room was clean and it is located near shopping, nice restaurants and fast food.

We've stayed twice. Wi-Fi is always strong. Cute unfussy rooms. Great prices. Friendly staff. Great breakfast.

This is a great place to stay. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The rooms are clean. And the sauna is the best. It is a great way for me to relax before calling it a night.

So far we are excited we chose a different place to stay for this visit to grandma and grandpa's. The room is cozy and very clean. The shower looks brand new and is marble. The countertops are marble as well. Very impressed!

Everything is clean. Staff is very pleasant and helpful. I looked forward to seeing the ladies from housekeeping. I miss seeing them everyday. The ladies in cafe where very nice also. Only 2 people out of all the staff were mildly unpleasant. The man at front desk at approximately 10pm, he had a bit of an unpleasant attitude. And then the caretaker/handyman was unfriendly and rude a couple times. But didn't make our stay any less. I would definitely go back there again and honestly having been there on business this time, I will be going back. This time I will go on a vacation and definitely stay at the Hudson House. Thank You Everyone for making our stay a pleasure. I would definitely recommend this place.

Went to a wedding (i was the best man) here some of the staff (Brittney who assisted us with setup and took care of anything we asked for) are awesome but they need to get rid of some bad apples such as the drunk guy who was helping with the sound and was extremely rude. I was able to get him to let me take over though. There are people on there staff that go out of the way to make sure everything was as we intended. Also, I heard there was issues with the bill that I have not heard the whole story on. I feel that if this is taken care of I could easily give them a better rating. We had a great night overall.

Excellent evening of dinner theater. Delicious salmon entree and finely presented Neil Simon comedy made for a special night out in Hudson!

The rooms were very clean, and everything was comfortable in the room, except our bathroom door lacked a lock, but that wasn't that big of a problem since no one really barged their way in. The location was tucked away just a little bit, enough that you never had to worry about traffic in the morning/night, but enough to be seen from the main drag. They have a very deep pool and a very warm hot tub, that could have been turned down just a little. The staff were very friendly. And the Wi-Fi was unexpectedly fast, we got about 20-15 Mbps. Overall it was a very nice place.

Eclectic stop with pretty incredible hamburgers and an extremely accommodating staff. I woke up refreshed and ready to tackle the day.

Great, clean place to stay. The atmosphere is different from most hotels and is actually very refreshing.

The staff is always friendly and willing to help. I do think they need to upgrade their breakfast dining area though. Some of the seats are broken.

Good location, right off the interstate and close to many restaurants. Hotel looks a little dated in the lobby and outside but the rooms are nice and modern.

Beautiful building with classic revival architecture and bold colors. Sound proof walls. Clean facilities and an extremely courteous staff. Conference room was a little small for our event, but that was the organization lead's fault.

Conference center was nice and the catered food was very good.

Went for a wedding reception. The staff was friendly, bathrooms were clean and the party room was spacious.

I don't know about the other reviewers, but I can say for the price of the room, it was what I paid for, only because I had a discounted rate, this hotel is worth $40 a night. The beds were brick hard, I think if I were to put a pallet on the floor it would be more comfortable. The breakfast is great, they make it for you. We didn't try the pool or hot tub, so no review on that. Overall I think they need to do an update on everything to be high priced.

Stayed here while my husband and I were in town for business. I was impressed. The staff was great and friendly. The rooms were clean and quiet. The breakfast offered was much better than a continental that you get at other hotels. If I am ever in the area again, this is the first hotel I am calling. Thanks for a nice place to relax after a long day of work!

Great experience, Great people across the board. Front desk chicks amazing, bar staff amazing, great place. Have stayed there/here a bunch-Very cool set up- Great group, cant say enough- Live out of suitcase and this place plain does it right-

Great rate. Different but good hotel with comfty beds and pool and nice bathrooms. Wifi doesn't work though unless your in the lobby. The loung pool table isn't open all day and closes early at night… not to mention it cost an absurd amount to play a game 1.50 what a joke. Otherwise good stay.

Great Hotel. We stayed 06/27 for one night. We are from Minnesota and were there to celebrate with friends for a bachelor/bachelorette party. We weren't at the hotel much until the next morning, but it was very nice. The breakfast was really great! And the front desk clerk, Brittany was wonderful. I work at the front desk at a hotel as well and she was very tentative and gave us a later check out and knew a lot about the hotel history.

Our experience at this hotel was pretty bad. We put our sign on the door asking for maid service at 7:30 am. We returned to our room at 2:30 in the afternoon and nothing had been touched. We called to ask for some towels since the room wasn't taken care of and the front desk staff was extremely rude. This customer service disaster in addition to the fact that the hallways smelled like a combination of wet dog and chlorine summed up our experience. We will not be back.

Great Hotel. As a business traveler, this is the only non-chain hotel that I stay at on my travels. It's got some great features that are missing in chain hotels. First as I'm coming for work, all of the rooms have both wireless and cable internet (much faster and more reliable internet with a cable), the pool/Jacuzzi aren't off the lobby (I just don't like trying to relax while arriving people check you out), it's only 25 minutes from downtown Minneapolis and is in a very cute town (once done with work, you can escape the city and relax next to the river). It's also very clean and well maintained.

Great hotel and staff. Great Pool and Hot tub along with delicious food. Along with a great dinner theater that needs to be seen.

The staff is timely and attentive, and the food is excellent — from a Hudson Noon Rotary club member.

This place was great! The people were courteous and the place was huge. The pool and hot tub were the best amenities in my opinion, but the food and room service was good too. Great place to stay, close to town and MSP.

Location off I94 is often convenient.
