The pool is a super nice touch. My kids would have loved it. Room was more than fine. A/C was cold. Liked that it was attached to Mad Apple (great food). Breakfast was one of the better ones I've been offered in a hotel. Food was still hotel quality. All the staff I interacted with was more than friendly. No complaints other than just an older building and all the things that come with that.

The room was very nice. It came with a mini fridge witch was very convenient for our stay. The free breakfast was also very good. It was not your standard continental breakfast. They had eggs, sausage, bacon, and breakfast potatoes. Along with all the usual stuff.

Staff is professional and accommodating. Thoughtful amenities such as salt water pool and hot tub were appreciated. The rooms, although clean, had issues with high humidity which resulted in curling of pages of hundreds of dollars in newly purchased curriculum. Our rate was a good value as it was purchased well in advance. If humidity issues get resolved, this would be an great value.

Great place to stay! Rooms were clean, breakfast was awesome! We loved the pool. The laundry room was nice and very clean! The room keys didnt work very well, had them replaced at least once a day! Service was the best! Everyone was very nice!

Great value for the area. The salt water pool and hot tub in the large atrium is almost resort-like and definitely a perk. Complimentary breakfast was great with hot eggs, potatoes, meat etc. Room was clean and looked like it had been remodeled recently with newer furniture.

Rooms need updating. Staff that work in hotel also live in hotel and sat in pool area from approx 5pm to 9. Smelled like food in hallways. Window in first floor room did not lock but opened all the way up. Door lock kept making noise like someone was trying to get. When my fiance complained to front desk to ask if we could switch to green bay hotel or other in area the said they can not do that bc they do not own them. The front desk worker called his manager who told him to inform us that if we got a refund we would be banned from hotel for life. Update: we got banned for life because we made a unflattering review online. As we were leaving there was a pimp yelling at a girl about not having enough money outside the enterence.

First class service… newly renovated rooms… stayed many times, a week at a time with no disappointments or issues. To top it of breakfast is included and it is much better than in most hotels… big selection. While your there enjoy the salt water pool and hot tub, shoot pool, enjoy games or just lounge out and relax in the huge atrium.

Great hotel. Working on improvements but great salt water pool with natural light. Right off college ave so the shuttle is helpful if you enjoy your night but there is also a bar at the hotel so you don't have to call it quits to early. They also have a good breakfast and fitness center.

Disappointing stay! We did not get adjoining rooms or even nearby rooms to our friends like requested. Comforter had a white mystery stain on it that was gross! And we were woken up to a total bathroom demo above us! Not impressed! Pool area is nice but closes early so you can’t even sit out by it & water was cold. Breakfast wasn’t bad either but closes too early in my opinion! It wasn’t our best hotel experience!

Worst Experience of my life. I was traveling alone for work. The room stunk and was very dated. While talking to my husband on the phone the room phone rang… no one was there, my hobby asked if I at least had a view when I opened the curtain I saw that the window (ground floor) was open. I shut it only to realize that it would not stay locked… I Propped the ironing board up against it. After falling asleep the phone began to ring over and over when I answered it there was just silence, then someone was knocking on the window. This Continued all night long. Needless to say I was not happy. I called the front desk about it in the middle if the night they told me there's nothing they can do about it.

The saltwater pool and hot tub are the best! Friendly staff and very clean rooms! I can't wait to come back next year!

We really enjoy staying here. We feel comfortable and very welcomed! Susan at the front desk is amazing, changed our room for us making it a more enjoyable stay for my family. Gloria makes eating breakfast enjoyable as she is very friendly, kind and easy to talk to. A lot of different options for breakfast and that’s what makes it very nice. We will definitely be back!

We had my daughters first birthday party here. We spoke with the manager on multiple occasions and he was very helpful and accommodating. The day of the party, our area was set up nicer than I had expected. The pool area was clean and the staff was helpful.

Clean, friendly and welcoming. Staff was helpful. Front desk offers snacks for you. On site Restaurant rocked.! Great food. I'll be back to this hotel.

Our stay was good. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The b breakfast was good as well and it was well stocked. I would stay there again.

Spacious room and comfy beds. The room had a refeigerator microwave and all other amenities. It was extremely reasonably priced and had a full hot breakfast. I would definitely stay there again.

It's ok. It's not the best. The beds were very meh and I was out of toilet paper when I went into the bathroom. But overall it was good for the price.

Very nice hotel, pool area was very nice, salt water pool was great. Employees were helpful. The breakfast had a large selection of different items. We will be back and recommend it to others.

Although this Best Western is not new, they are attempting to refurbish it. The pool is large and the salt water is refreshing. We were offered free snacks (chips and candy) while at the pool in the evening. The breakfast was the best I have had for continental fare. There was a selection of sausage, ham, and bacon with egg in addition to fresh fruit, waffles, and cereals.

I was here for a birthday party and I live in the area. Very respectful staff and breakfast was great. There is a pool and hot tub (phenomenal). Rooms were decent enough. The hotel is located near the Fox River Mall and lots of shopping. Would visit again for sure.

Has been a fantastic stay. It's awesome that they have an indoor pool, arcade and pool table. Mike at the front desk is awesome he recommended a great Mexican restaurant El Azteca. Would recommend everyone to stay here!

Good service, the breakfast was awesome! The pool area is beautiful, but you can just tell the hotel is a bit dated. Generally a positive experience.

Horrible. Rooms dirty! I went to lay in my bed, pulled the blanket and sheets back, and food, crumbs, hair, and dirt. Pillowcases had make up on them. Sheets were NOT changed.! Wouldn't recommend this place to Anyone! Breakfast wasn't any better biscuits dry, gravy got me sick. Bacon and ham all burnt. Not a chance in hell I'd stay there again!

Staff was very polite and suggestions were very good. The breakfast was the best we had at any hotel we have ever stayed at. Overall highly recommend especially for the price.

We went for a birthday party. The pool can be rented. Even if you aren't staying in a room. The pool was big and clean. Towels were provided. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

This Best Western really wowed me. I was pleasantly surprised when I got here and saw the amazing indoor saltwater pool. The breakfast was great and the staff were all super friendly. Definitely recommend staying here if you're in the area!

Decent hotel for the money. It has been renovated since our last stay a few years ago. With having pool side rooms, it would be good if the pool closed down at 10, but since getting a room in that location was intentional, I can't complain too much. :) Breakfast was decent, but it would be nice if there was more than one waffle maker. A man there used it for 15 minutes solid, making it impossible for anyone else to get one in a timely manner.

The pool & atrium are nice especially for kids and groups that might want to meet, but the room was very hot and uncomfortable if not swimming. The breakfast is well above average, but I'm not a fan of "egg patties". Fresh scrambled eggs would have been better. The overall condition of the building shows its age, and the hallways were very warm. The room overall was fine.

Very prestigious looking hotel. More elegant than the others in the area. I wish the rooms were a big bigger but I guess you have to choose your battles. Would recommend to anyone.

Not the Taj Mahal but it's fine for Appleton. Linens were clean and beds were comfortable enough. Carpet could use some cleaning and the whole place could use some updates but it was fine for the few nights we stayed.

Decent location. Room was ok, not great but not bad either. Impressed with the courtyard, which had a pool, pool tables, would be a lot of fun for families.

The bathroom required soap. Wi-Fi was good, breakfast was good. Staff was good. Room was right next to exit. Cable TV was terrible thing only. But that's Time Warner.

This place doesn't look as good as the pictures (well of course) also as soon as I got here this place made me break out actually I don't know if "I just broke out from the place" it may be worse than just a break out in hives this place makes me feel so disgusted, one of the employees or managers were rude to my sister about a simple question the first night and back to the so called hives I think it may be worse than that I pray to god it isn't but what I'm saying is don't come to this hotel or you'll be a pissed off customer like me who may do something worse about his situation going on so I recommend people to not come here because it's not great the breakfast only has little to offer than says and just over all pictures show lies (like always)

Best hotel ever. When my dad goes on a trip he takes me to my favorite hotel. Best Western. Friendly.

This place is very outdated. While watching the kids swimming in the pool something kept dripping on me from the ceiling. No matter where I moved I kept getting dripped on. If I wanted to be wet, I would have gone swimming!

Absolutely horrible hotel. Carpets in rooms wreak of mold, nothing looks to have been dusted in a week and who knows what else they are not cleaning! My wife and I were congested after being in the room one nights. Stay away from this "newly remodeled" (yeah right) hotel. I'll never be burned by Best Western again. They will never get more of my business!

Very Poor. The first night a water pipe burst and alarms were going off all night and our room suffered water damage and we did not sleep at all. My friend and I both had our small children there. They moved us to a different room, far, far, far away from the pool. The manager was not friendly or apologetic. We didn't get our money back or offered a free night stay. No one helped us move our luggage (we had 2 small children, so lots of stuff to move). We spent a half day just moving rooms. I will never stay here again.

The pool was nice clean rooms. The Management is very unfriendly. I needed to take up Breakfast to my room for my daughter who has special needs. They have a policy that you can't take the food to your room, so I asked the front desk if I could take breakfast to my room for my Daughter they said that would be ok. So I did and got attitude for it from the manager. Super rude. I won't stay here again.

The hotel is fine with nice salt pool area but the employees (especially a witch manager) are terribly rude, I'm talking darn rude and low social skill mentality.

Very friendly staff. Sandip @ front desk was very helpful. We were traveling from Dallas, Tx and we arrived early before check-in time. He didn't really have any available rooms yet because it wasn't check out time and the rooms we selected where full. He accomodated us and asked if we would like to stay in a room with two Queen beds that was located by the pool we accepted. It was so beautiful and comfortable and the view was beautiful. The pool area! Who could ask for more comfort it was absolutely beautiful and the area was cool and relaxing. The staff there where very friendly. They had a place called the Taj Mahal connected to the hotel. The server was so nice the food was exsquite it was some of the best food I ever put in my mouth. I would definitely stay here again if I ever came back to Appleton, Wi.

Management is friendly and they moved my room to the second floor per my request without any hassle or fees. The rooms were clean and nice. The price is unbeatable in this area, especially for AAA members. The pool looks amazing and the hot breakfast is good. The attached Mediterranean themed restaurant is pricey, but has great decor, tasty food and the chef comes out to talk the patrons about their dining experience. The hotel is currently under renovation, but I didn't hear any noise during the evening or early morning hours. One small complaint: the 2nd floor door to the lobby stairs slams *loudly* when it closes. If your room is next to it, you will hear it very clearly as people enter and exit the hallway to the downstairs lobby.

(Based on other reviews, I suspect this hotel is under completely NEW management perhaps? ) The staff at this hotel is AMAZING! I told them I was going on a "daddy daughter" vacation and if they could do anything nice (like even a little note) for my 6 year old daughter, she would love it. We walked in and her jaw dropped. They had little gifts for her and even balloons. They absolutely didn't have to do any of this and they made my little girl feel so special! BRAVO! Support this hotel — — they deserve it.

Very good place to stay in Appleton.

The staff is poor on English, the room is poor on cleanliness, the night desk clerk is poor on ettiquette.

Always stay here for my trip north and for all home packers games. Love the price, location, and service. Almost afraid to go somewhere else in the area.
