Rooms and place were a little old and had a slight smoke smell. However, the size, cleanliness and amenities they have are AWESOME! The pool, hot tub and sauna are all top notch. The breakfast area and play area for kids were like I've never seen before. We would definitely come back again!

Overall the stay was not great to say it nicely. My friend and I shared a room in the low 100 blocks which was alright. The bed wasn't super comfortable but we were exhausted. The next morning when we got up I realized that there are actual wall measurements written on multiple places in the other part of the room. Our other friend was way back in an even dingier room and could hear dogs barking and some strange smells. They also charged us an arm and a leg to be massively disappointed. Instead go to the Copperleaf and thank me later.

My husband and I had a lovely stay at your est ablishment. Your guest service employee Kristina was kind, friendly, and very attentive to our needs. I am on medicine that takes potassium out of my body. With our busy day I had not eaten my banana and it wad getting late at night. I went to guest service desk and Kristina was wonderful in getting me some bananas right away. (Another young gentleman employee went and got them for me. ) My leg and foot cramps stopped after eating the bananas. Thank you so very much for such wonderful employees and nice clean rooms. Mr. & Mrs. H.

This LaQuinta needs a face lift. Small things would help such as grime in the corners in the bathroom, mirrors, knock down cod webs in the outdoor comman area. We stayed in a suit which was wonderful. Nice sized rooms and large windows. One of our suite a window wouldn't lock an I witnessed people come in and out. The pool area was great. The continental breakfast was so so. I would go back again…

Really nice overall. Fitness center is a bit dated and the machines aren't all operational. Decent breakfast and good rooms. Great staff.

Nice place. Has a pool, pool table, ping pong hot tub and sauna. Room was fine. Deals at the two attached restaurants for guests. Breakfast was passable, but it was free so there's that. Staff was friendly. Not sure what there would be to do around the hotel besides drink at bars. But there are a lot of hotels so there must be something. There is a mall somewhere.

There were some issues with our recent stay at the Appleton, Wi LaQuinta. There was a non working pool, the pump busted, water flow issues in our sink, tub and toilet. The fire pit was a bonus. The general manager, Sara k. Did reach out to us and we are happy about the solution. We will give them a try once again soon, as we visit Appleton often, this is where our grandson lives. Thanks so much Sara.

Dirty, Dirty place. Room windows were dirty. Carpeting on stairs and hallways were dirty. Breakfast — coffee was very slow to be refilled. Donuts were not fresh. No ac. Room heat was on hi when we arrived, 87 degrees. Had to sleep with windows open. Ash trays around outside fire pit had not been emptied for awhile. Entrance doors were dirty. Lawn not mowed. Will not stay there again.

Nice rooms, but the staff took too long to get the pool open due to heating and chlorine problems. It really ruined the birthday party I was attending there. I can't really blame them though, otherwise it seems to be a perfectly fine hotel.

Great pool. Best way to get sleep. Best on low budget. Good bed.

Very helpful front desk staff upon check in. Had to move rooms as the first had a bathroom that was infested with ants. The front desk was accomodating in this move. The hotel allows dogs, and one was in my wing barking very audibly all night. The breakfast bar was sadly a disappointment. Many areas were not fully stocked (bread, yogurt) and the eggs and sausage were both very burned (I'm sure the warmer was turned up too hot). The breakfast attendant was far more interested in the book she was reading than attending to the needs of her station. I stay in Appleton a few times per year, and previously had good experiences here. Update: the GM did reach out and attempt to rectify the situation as best she could. This was very much appreciated and I will consider staying there again.

Sorry carpets and walls, first night had hot breakfast second night had cereal… guess it's hit or miss whether or not you get what you pay for… busy road through parking lot so there was a lot of road noise in our rooms.

We stayed here mid week so it was quiet. Our king suite was large and clean. Nice large indoor pool, very small hot tub, would be crowed with 4 adults. Continental breakfast is good but nothing special.

Reasonable price, nice size pool, great game room with pool table, air hockey, and ping pong. But the customer service was above and far beyond. They had some mechanical issues before we arrived and instead of trying to gloss it over, they addressed it head on and made immediate amends! The kids had a wonderful time and we will definitely be back!

It would have been a little better but the bathroom was dirty, shower curtain was dirty and we lit candles because the room smelled a little musty. Although I did like that restaurants and shopping was nearby. Rooms were big and I liked the separate sitting area. Breakfest was great as well. I also thought they were very nice and accommodating, we went for a bowling tournament and we had a big group of people in the lobby. The staff offered us the Oak room to take our guests (large group of people who were also staying there) so we wouldn't disturb the other guests they had. Which was very nice of them.

It would have been great but it was filled with hair, all over the bathroom — the floor, the toilet, the wall, the sink. Then we found a nice long brown hair on one of the beds. My husband and I have very short hair. And I hate even saying it because the hotel on a whole and the room itself was otherwise nice.

Awesome room. Next door to Appleton Curling Club where I had a bonspiel. Worked out perfectly.

We enjoyed our stay here. Comfortable beds, large room, nice pool, quiet atmosphere. Our room had two separate rooms as part of it which made it really nice as we had three young kids with us.

This is far and above the worst La Quinta I've ever stayed at. Booked two rooms with two beds and only received one bed in each room. Two members of our party had to sleep on very poor quality pull out couches which were filthy to boot. Although the hotel is listed as smoke free our bathroom reeked of cigarettes. Despite only seeing a few other people during my stay I was assured the hotel was at maximum capacity so we could not switch to another room. Will not be returning.

The suite a had was not clean, found other ppls belongings all over the room. Thought I may fall through the bathtub. I slept on top of the covers just to be safe. However the front desk staff was very curtious & helpful.

Great room with a Jacuzzi in the bathroom! The pool and game room were also nice. The location is right next to a lot of great options for dinner as well.

Housekeeping could improve. Put DND sign up the first day and our room was never serviced the remainder of the stay. It's as if they assumed we didn't want our room cleaned at all. Ceiling fans in the corridor were filthy. One of the fans had a deflated balloon caught in the blade. The coffee made for the continental breakfast was weak. Front desk staff were nice and courteous. Shares a parking lot with Texas Roadhouse. 30 minutes to Lambeau Field. Swimming pool was a good size. Fire pit was a nice place to sit and chat.

All hotels La Quinta that I have visited, this one takes first prize, very friendly people, clean, spacious, comfortable and super quiet.

I got a double bed suite for $99! This is by far the best room I could've gotten for the price. It's a huge, beautiful room. We had two adults, and three kids, and we had space. Also, room was clean, and my bed was very comfortable.

We stayed in room 104, right off of the lobby. Heidi was the night desk clerk when we arrived to check in and she was the absolute sweetest! She saw that we had four small children and she greeted them all with hugs, high fives, and cookies. She made sure our room was sufficient for the six of us, providing us with extra blankets and pillows and attempting to fix the A/C in the living area of the room. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, and we will ONLY stay at this location when we visit Appleton. The room itself was very spacious and comfortable (even the sofa sleeper! ). The breakfast in the morning was quite varied (eggs, sausage, toast, bagels, muffins, donuts, cereals, yogurt, etc) and satisfied my picky children. The games room and play area in the breakfast room were also quite nice and my children enjoyed them throughly. We didn't end up using the pool or hot tub, but we did speak to other guests utilizing them and we were told that they were quite nice. Any other staff we interacted with were also top notch, making this hotel VERY family friendly. I highly recommend staying here if you're in the area.

We were greeted very warmly by Mrs. Heidi. She was extremely courteous, very helpful, and gave my family and I the most kindest welcome. Mrs. Heidi is the picture perfection of what costumer service should be. Never in my entire life have I had such a great greeting from any hotel front desk receptionist. Thank you very much Mrs. Heidi.

Was clean and affordable. Pool was nice and warm, and we enjoyed some time by their courtyard fireplace. Breakfast was your average hotel breakfast. Staff was friendly. Would definitely stay there again. Super easy to access from interstate.

It's clean, has a lot of added benefits. If you are on vacation, you can enjoy this place and save money. It has a pool, gym, hot tub. Pool table, vending machines, good breakfast and staff is really great and helpful. They even offer a set of dishes you can use in their lovely little kitchen. If they had weekly rates I would def move in.

Nice hotel. Lots of amentites for families and plenty of restaruants and attractions nearby.

It was a very nice spot. The breakfast was good. The rooms were clean. Also it was very easy to find off the freeway and was very close to the mall.

The staff is great. Room was a good value. Location is close to the mall and all the great dining in the area. Also this hotel is pet friendly.

They have a great pool. The room was very clean. There is a small concession area next to the front desk. Updated rooms with newer furniture and fixtures. Not bad for a business trip!

The hotel public area was pretty nice however I thought that it all seemed worn and run down. The food was good and I really enjoyed the pool. However, the pool could use some professional cleaning. The bottom was covered in yellow at the deep end. When you kicked at the yellow it turned into dust and floated in the pool! The rooms were very worn, the carpet had stains and the wallpaper was peeling. It seemed that the housekeeper simply cleaned the bathroom and living room but skipped the livin room. The staff was friendly except for one worker at the front desk who was not professional and rude. The maintenance guy came to the room many times but was still very friendly towards us. The one air conditioner didn't work and the other one blew out air that smelled like cigarette smoke. In the end it was an okay stay but the hotel was much cleaner a couple of years ago.

Terrible experience. The woman at the front desk gave us a room that was not cleaned, there was food and wet towels everywhere. She then moved us to a new room and when we tried to enter it with a key, the door was dead bolted from the inside so we couldn't even get in, she then moved us to another room down the hall that was nothing like we asked for, it had unlocked access from the outside and was very unsafe. Highly recommend nobody to stay here. Not clean, not safe.

Everything was quite nice. Fresh everything going in the rooms and the over all cleanliness of the room was good. It was fairly hot in our room til we turned on the air. Overall a really nice stay.

The staff at this hotel is genuinely friendly and helpful. The double queen rooms are exceptionally spacious with a comfortable front living room area that is great for visiting! The pool area is large and clean. The breakfast is by far the best free breakfast that I have eaten at a hotel! The spread is amazing! This is our hotel of choice each time we are in the Appleton area!

Great location right on Chicago drive by the highway. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great heated indoor pool and sauna. I would recommend this hotel for anyone.

It's good, love the breakfast. Fireplace was broken not good. Rooms looking alot worn; cracks and peeling. Most of the halls have remained in vacuumed with crums n food on them. Good service when I needed it.

Yes the rooms were clean n the pool is nice. But I spent 160 on a room and there was only a cold breakfast? No eggs no bacon just cereal. Never coming here again. What a disappointment.

We purchased a certificate from our local radio station for a one night stay at either La Quinta Inn or La Quinta Inn and Suites in Appleton. We already knew from doing some research that we wanted to stay at the inn and suites. We stayed on June 22nd for one night. Our room was a 2 room with two double beds and a pull out sofa in the living space. When we arrived, the woman at the counter was extremely friendly and personable. I have worked front desk at a hotel for 10 years as well as housekeeping for a total of about 4 years so I have my own expectations before I walk in the door for both departments at any hotel I stay at. I wish I would have paid attention to her name because she was exactly what one would expect and hope to see when walking into a hotel. When we arrived at our room, we walked in to a highly used and non cleaned room. I called to the front desk and she asked us to go back to return the keys and get new ones. I have dealt with this situation before on both ends so I did not get upset, I knew we would have a room to go into. We were then assigned a room on the second floor with a balcony. This was a very nice accommodation for a couple who smokes and we have a 7 year old so we did not have to leave her in the room or drag her outside with us every time we wanted to go outside. I spent most of my time enjoying the balcony with the lovely view of the courtyard with firepit.

The terminology used to describe rooms are quite misleading. Got an apartment King Suite and it was barely big enough for 1 person to walk around comfortably. The bathroom is inconveniently placed in the bedroom. Every time someone needed to use the restroom they had to walk into the bedroom to use it. Secondly for 170 that I paid for the room there was barely anything in the room. No coffee maker or coffee. No garbage bags in the little bins. No additional blankets for the pull out sofa sleeper. The kitchen had no utensils, pots, or pans. The bathroom had two towels. I would not recommend paying that much for a tiny room. It should be called the "Tiny, we don't include anything in our room" King Suite.

This is our 4th time back up here. We love this hotel. It's huge and has everything you need for a great stay. I love their suites especially with kids. The adults can have the bed and the kids can have the sleeper sofa in the living room with their own TV. The mini kitchen is really handy! The outside fireplace was awesome! The continental breakfast was amazing. The staff was really friendly and helpful! The pool is huge and inviting! I would just recommend cleaning up the floors in the common area and amping up the courtyard and it will be an A+ hotel! We will be back.
