My room was “ready, ” but clearly the people they hire for housekeeping do not have their rooms inspected by management first before being turned over to guests. I used my own hand wipes to take the pubic hairs and soap bits out of the tub. Apparently the housekeepers come in just to change the sheets, hang up the clean towels, put down packaged soap and leave.
No actual cleaning is being done and that’s atrocious considering the COVID-19 outbreak. I read another reviewer called corporate and has his complaint ignored. We’ll see if I get the same response. If RR has a district manager, I hope they fire every “housekeeper” on staff because reading the reviews and seeing what’s in my own room, this is not a one time issue. This is a reoccurring issue that has not been addressed for over a year. A hotel room is expected to be CLEANED. A simple spray and wipe at the very least and even that’s not being done. Disgusting!

Clean, comfortable, and convenient. Pet friendly. What more do I need?

After offering a refund for a horrible stay and experience now Corporate and the actual property has amnesia… Good Afternoon Maurice, I stayed at your property Sept 19-22 and was very unsatisfied from the start with the condition of the room, lack of onsite customer service and now an issue with one of your staff denying there was every any complaints or issues during our stay. Sept 19th — Checked in around midnight. Went to the room and received an email from RedRoof Inn. Com asking about our check in experience, I let them know room was in very poor condition and our issues with the room. (smell, flies and dirty floors) Sept 20th — Received a VM from the front Desk at the property following up on the complaint, advised they would come "freshen room". I had to work from room that day, so told them not something we could do now. (A call your staff now denies ever making to me) Sept 21st — Received an email from RedRoof Inn Guest Relations following up, I detailed the room issues but did let them know we were offered to have the room "freshened". When we returned to our room on the evening of 21st we discovered, it was never cleaned. Room service had not been to the room AT ALL. We called the front desk and complained, we were told we could come get new linens and towels but someone was checking in and they were by themselves, please wait 5-10mins. About 5 mins later the front desk brought us new linens/towels.

Very clean room, and the staff here is friendly. Nice atmosphere to be in. I recommend this hotel if staying in Dayton over night. Plenty of places around to get food close by. Over all nice hotel!

I want to thank the Red Roof Inn on Miller Lane for charging an extra $10 on top of the vouchers handed out to victims from tornado this passed Memorial Day. Nothing but shitbags.

I wish I could just minus about a 100 … it started out I RESCUE and was helping a ALMOST12 YEAR OLD BLACK LAB MIX GIRL WHO IS THE SWEETEST EVER ANYWAYS THIS woman was homeless with her dog because people would not help because they were not dog people… FINE. So after being told I could get a handicap room for 350.00 cash. I load this lady and her senior lab to this hotel in the rain AFTER TALKING TO THEM 3 TIMES TODAY ALL TO BE TOLD ALL KINDS OF B S. Reasons why I couldn't now all of a sudden rent a room for a week cash at 350.00 which as a rescue is hard to come up with quickly but we did and how dare this woman patty say on the way out pitbulls should be killed. Jesus take the wheel. Calling corporate to say the least… so sad humans hate there job so bad they would rather see someone homeless with there old dog then follow what you advertise.

Checked in around 11p and service was slow. Website said that room would provide a fridge, but I was disappointed to find this was not true. Additionally, the inn charged for use of the safe. Nevertheless, basic necessities were provided though online ratings as "2 star hotel" and description of services is somewhat misleading.

Just an average motel. It was clean. Nothing special about it. No free breakfast here. Easy access to the highway. There is an unpaved parking lot for big trucks that is close by. A restaurant is located 50 feet across the parking lot, so that was very convenient. Also, there is on street parking, when available, that is closer than the big truck lot, if you are driving something like a U-Haul and want a well lit parking spot.

Had a great experience. Patti and Kelli at the front desk was always cheerful and helpful. Carol kept our room clean and comfortable. Thank you.

The room smelled funky, and there were people standing outside who looked shady. I sware when I booked the hotel it said there was free breakfast which there wasn't. The service was ok. Because of all this we ended up staying with family who luckily had room for us.

Close to I-75 and tons of restaurants near by. Room was decent and service was great. Most importantly there were no unwanted guests in our bed (bed bugs) when we arrived like the first hotel we checked into.

Check in, 2 guys outside our room door smoking pot in there car. Room smelled like smoke, dirty & disgusting. Checked for bed bugs, sheets were stained & dirty along w/pillows. Found food crumbs & food flyers under mattress. Bed was so dirty I slept in office chair. My husband's idea for a quick stop, Get me out of here. Disgusting.

The room interiors are all recently renovated and it shows. Everything at the hotel is much nicer. They really need more staff, though, check in and check out both had long waits because only one person was working front desk.

Good hotel. Quiet, great service and rooms. Comfortable beds. Only problem was there was no microwave or mini fridge.

Red Roof Inn hotel is a excellent place to stay if u want to save money. 50 bucks a night is the best price I have ever payed. But in saying that, it was not the best experience. The room was not cleaned properly at all. We found a fake finger nail on the floor our first walk through. The floor was also very sticky. My flip flops barely stuck to the floor upon walking through. But I guess u get what u pay for. The people here were amazing though. The lady at the front desk was such a sweetie and very accommodating.

I was 15 minutes before check in time and I was refused service. The lady at the desk was extremely rude and unprofessional. I’m in Dayton for a event that I drove 10 hours for and I’m tired and just want to get some rest. I’m beyond frustrated l and if it wasn’t already have been paid for I would have not stayed here. I am calling corporate.

Red Roof Inns is not a pleasant place to stay. Not safe. You know that people have smoked in their establishment. Peopl doing drugs. Dirty place. I will never stay there again.

This place was disgusting. Drawers broken/missing, mold & pink throw up on the walls of the bathroom, burn holes in the bed sheets. And this was for a "non-smoking" room. After complaining to the staff about the room, the "customer service" man came to our room to be inspected but wreaked of weed and then all the smoke alarms went off in the building and other guests opened their room doors and the whole place just smelt of weed. This place was unprofessional, gross, dirty, and I would never have felt safe staying there. Those traveling through Dayton should avoid this roach motel.

Location isn't great. Area felt sketchy. Room was decently clean. Decent for the money spent on the room.

Got a good deal for two beds. Pretty nice for a budget place.

The room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking and friendly staff. I asked for an extra blanket and the front desk attendant brought us two and delivered them to our room. A room with a microwave and fridge is a few dollars extra, but still a very reasonable price. The hotel is easy to find and easy to access from the freeway. Close to restaurants, gas, and a Wal-Mart.

If you want to know where the lights are on let me the Red Roof Inn they're very helpful there they they try to make sure you're satisfied with your room very clean Place lots of parking and like I said it's a it's a good experience.

Was absolutely amazing! People I met were so were awesome… Dayton knows how to get down.

Paid for 2 night stay but hotel clerk entered in 1 night stay and didn't give receipt. Needless to say the next morning was a nightmare as the crazy manager was desperate to kick us out of there because she thought we only paid for 1 night. She didn't believe us and said that the room is now reserved for someone else and we need to get out. After awhile she figured out she was wrong and we were right and starting sucking our assholes. Weird and shady people were all over the parking lot. Stay away. There are much better places in area for about the same price.

The room decorated well and very clean. The TV was a bit interesting when hooking up a laptop by HDMI to stream Netflix, but it still worked. Front desk staff was very friendly.

A convenient location and clean room made for a nice weekend away from home. Housekeeping was super nice!

Great for the price. It's right in the middle of plenty of restaurants and stores. Our biggest issue is the double room is 2 full size beds instead of 2 queens you get at most places. Doesn't leave a lot of room if you're sleep with a spouse or partner.

Had to move rooms twice. The first one had pubic hair all over the sheets. Then the second one the AC didn't work properly and the attendant said well that's as good as its going to get and got snippy with us. Not to mention the bed was off the frame on one side. Terrible hotel all the way around.

Staff was friendly enough, price was good. Room and decor very dated. Slight funny smell in room, bed was rock hard. Bathroom door wouldn't shut completely.

This is by far the worst Red Roof I've ever stayed at, and in the top 3 worst hotels I've ever stayed at. Absolutely disgusting! The first room had bed bugs, then they switched us to a room that had roaches. The tub looked like the most dirtiest person in the world shaved their pubic hairs in it and there was trash behind the dresser. The staff was very rude and nasty. The front desk at the hotel next door told us that the Red Roof was robbed 3 times during the past month. I believe it! A lot of shady looking characters lurking around. I was asked by 2 different dope dealers if I was looking for anything and a prostitute asked me if I wanted company! If you need to stay in this area I recommend the Days Inn next door. It is cleaner, quieter, homier, the staff are friendly and they provide a free breakfast which the Red Roof does not. The rates are cheaper too! And I didn't see any prostitutes or drug dealers posted up. After this experience I will probably never book another Red Roof again. Avoid this crack den/brothel!

If I wanted to get robbed, kidnapped, etc. This is the place to go. Also, no I am not one of those people who are making stories up online for products or places either. This place truly is scary beyond belief. First of all you normally never see people backing their trucks in so they can make sure their stuff is not stolen. Second of all we had a uhaul since we were moving across the country east to west and this was a stop. We had just pulled in and about 10 people on the second floor got out and looked around like we hadn't see them yet. Even a car with 2 very very disturbing men just parked beside us and we were sitting on the side of the lot. Not even in a space yet and people were just standing about watching us. To say the least we cancelled that reservation and went up the hotel strip and stayed at another much more normal and less creepy hotel.

Bathroom floor was moldy, bedsheets had old rice stuck to them (like someone ate Chinese food in bed and the wash machine couldn't get it all off). Overpaid for my room but that was more my lack of planning. Still would not stay here again, but would rather spend the extra $20-40 for a nicer hotel.

Bathroom floor is filthy looks moldy honstly. Theirs a hole in the bathroom wall. The air conditioner doesn't work very well. The floor is wet when it's 90 degrees out. The floor is nasty even a used condom rapper on it its gross. Their a cigarette burn in a non smoking room I'm never coming back here again. And also cheech and chong must be growing their stash next door.

Meh. The service is basic. They got my needs done quick and fast.

It's not a five star Ritz Carlton but the rooms were clean and the front desk service were extremely accommodating! Patty was awesome! We would definitely stop here again on our way through Dayton! Thank you for making our move more tolerable!

Clean, cozy beds and showers. Awesome customer service. Just wear shoes. Floors don't seem that clean.

We stopped in checked out the first room and it smelled smoky so we went to another room the blankets were not washed obviously and a fried chicken mess all in the fridge. Go up the interstate 5 miles to Troy much better places.

It was okay. The employees were wonderful. We got in at 3am so it sucked that we still had to check out at 11am. Also it would of been better if there was more than one pillow.

Pretty good stay. I liked the room and the bathroom. Pretty clean. Just wish the bed would have been a little bit softer, but everyone likes different things. Would definitely recommend.

Very clean! I had to go through 3 hotels with bloodstained walls and sheets before I found this one… DAYS INN WAS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE ATTROCIOUS!

The room service was great. The room not so much. The bed had black spots over it all like wood chips or something. One of my towels was dirty. And the room smelt like Marijuana.

Clean, neat, good location, helpful staff. For $55 a night this place was incredible.

Room is spacious, clean and located at a quiet place. Wifi network was solid and stable at a reasonable speed for me to do web surfing seamlessly. Coffee in the lobby is fresh. Price is reasonable. As expressed no fridge, no micro but no big deal for me. No complaint at all.

Not that great of a place. It's packed in the middle of the week, and while it's near a nice area with lots of restaurants, it's kind of at the end of the drag. People are loitering with their doors open and I didn't feel particularly safe walking from my car to my room. Doors open to the outside. The bed's pretty subpar. There are also a bunch of bugs in the room, crickets and fruit flies and ants and things… They need to call an exterminator. It's been recently painted, and it has a fridge and a microwave, so that was nice.

I am so disgusted with this place me and my Fiancee were meeting here for the weekend and before I made it he was robbed at gun point in his room there is no security except the doors no cameras and no money back for a booking of 5 days, the detectives suggested we at least move rooms to be safe and they refused and said they were totally booked up, I don't believe this place they acted like they didn't even care his life could be in danger because he saw the 2 men, FAIR WARNING STAY AWAY.

This place is beyond DISGUSTING. Yuck bed bugs and stained sheets. Say its non smoking but room smell like a cartoon of cheap cigarettes.

This place is super clean and the staff is very friendly, they have yummy free coffee and tea in the morning, they have free Wi-Fi that does not require a password! they are pet friendly and they don't charge a pet fee and they have recently been remodeled! Highly recommend this hotel.

Room was clean, staff was very nice. I had an issue with the wireless resetting every 2 hours or so, but other than that pretty good experience.

As a commercial / business photographer for Google, I stay in a lot of hotels. This Red Roof Inn is FANTASTIC! The room was perfectly clean and looked recently updated. The neighborhood seemed safe and quiet. Here for three nights over the weekend and no problems or concerns with my car or equipment. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED if you want a clean, safe place to stay.

My husband left his computer in our room. When we realized this after we returned home and called the motel, the manager went right up to the room and found it, then immediately had it mailed to us! That is service.

Bed was "clean" but that's all. Plaster was coming off the walls, carpet was discusting, mold in room air conditioning vent which was broken in half and only blew air on lo speed. Convention in town filled all other hotels so we had no choice but to stay one night then drove out of town to get a better room.

Well since this hotel was completly remodeled it is just brand new on all the insides of the rooms! It looks great and is really clean! It would of gotten 5 stars if it had free Wifi. You need to pay apx $5 for 24 hours use.
