We absolutely loved our stay at the anchor inn! Super nice staff, VERY clean, high quality furnishings and decorations. Everything was beautiful there! The breakfast was delicious! Oh and you couldn’t have a much better location. Would definitely recommend and go back! The only thing I didn’t like is that the building is older and not very sound proof, I felt like I could hear everything going on but I wasn’t bothered by it.
Very nice hotel and the staff is very sweet however their breakfast was a huge disappointment. It consisted of some bananas, apple and watermelon and blueberries, 2 quiches, cauliflower hash, bacon and some dry bread. There wasn’t any of the following: “Some other specialty items may include our signature dishes — Lakestyle Potatoes; Joey’s Stuffed French Toast; flaky biscuits and rich & creamy gravy; or delectable scrambled eggs, pastries, scones or muffins. ” Perhaps it was because we came during the week. I am not by any means trying to put the hotel down but I think it’s rather expensive and persuasive with what the website said versus what we got. If you don’t care about breakfast I would go there 100%.

My wife and I stayed in the Beach Glass room. The room was clean, well appointed, and decorated beautifully. It was especially nice having our own bathroom. The breakfast was very good both days featuring some sweet and savory offerings. My wife and I are coffee snobs and the Anchor Inn coffee did not disappoint. The building is well constructed isolating noise very well. Bicycles are available on a FCFS basis and they were very useful on the island. The building is well secured with an electronic lock that works with a room key. The staff was amazing! Everyone! The service is as good as the service on a Disney Cruise. We will be back!
