The management in this hotel is extremely unprofessional. I called and emailed several times to speak with the General Manager And she didn’t even respond to my complaints until I took the next step and went to corporate. Don’t ever take children here because they will start complaining at 7pm about noise.

Very very nice! CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN! Friendly staff! They even folded the toilet paper into arrow! So cool!

Terrible would be a nice word to say, Ashley is the worst manager she refuses to return my calls & is ignoring me. I booked a block of rooms for my wedding last weekend many of the rooms were wrong, my grandma was booked as a hearing/vision impaired when she said she needed a wheelchair accessible they told her she would have to pay more! I had to call the front office where the girl gave me a false name and tried to hang up on me. My grandma had to miss my wedding rehearsal because they could not get a room ready for her in time (5pm) my mother asked if they could have the wheelchair pool lift charged and working for later the front desk girl said " that's not my job" one of my guests we're booked in the wrong room with one bed when they booked a room with 2 beds. Another room wasn't ready upon check in time even though it was after 330pm and was told check in starts at 3 doesn't mean rooms are ready by 3. One guest got their bill and check out receipt slipped under the door after 1 night when they were booked for 2 nights staff tried to make them move to another room. Another guest had 2 rooms for 2 nights had to call and cancel the 2nd room and found out she was only booked for 1 room for 1 night. Each person was met with attitude and argument by Holiday inn staff. My grandmas shower bench would not hook right and buckled when she sat on it, we told staff nobody ever came to check on it.

Front staff were the greatest, so friendly and made us feel like we've known each other forever, even asking how our day had gone when we returned… I was sad to leave my family and Lexi gave me a hug which helped tremendously. Our room was fantastic, clean, towels were the greatest, better than we've had before. Housekeeping young ladies were wonderful, we even had a welcome note that had been written and left on the desk before we checked in… I'd recommend this hotel to anyone coming to New Castle or any close area. Thank you so much, until our next visit which I'm hoping will be soon. ❤❤❤

Rooms were clean, beds comfortable. Only tiny negative was the breakfast. Pancake machine be was broken both days, and there were no cinnamon rolls ever put out.

Everything was nice. Breakfast was good. The ladies taking care of that did an excellent job, and were very nice. Our only issue was that we needed a couple extra blankets and they told us they were out. A hotel that doesn't have extra blankets for the guests is a bit of an issue.

The Hotel it self is very very nice but the customer service call center, not good at all. Very rude, when I asked to be transferred they hung up on me. I called back I was selected for a preferred customer, told the call center what happened, she was going to help me with what happened in earlier call but hung up on me and did not call back to fix the problem.

This is one of the worst experiences we have had with customer service. I called to make a reservation 2 months in advance for a wedding and called back to confirm the date twice. I was assured we were all set to for a sat check in. When we arrived we were told they didn't have our reservation and charged us for a no show the night before… they didn't have a room ready for us until 10pm that night knowing that I was very pregnant with 2 small children. When asked to have the charges reversed we were told we had to talk to the manager and front desk was very rude. We called and left a voicemail for the manager with no returned call… we then did a charge back on our credit card and holiday in express put in a rebuttal. We then called corporate and were told that they couldn't help up because it was an independently owned franchise and had to be addressed by the manager… I can assure you we will NEVER ever be staying at a holiday inn or other associated hotel ever again what poor customer service. I hope this helps someone else looking to stay here.

It's a great example of it's class of hotel. Clean rooms, friendly staff, decent amenities like a pool. I will definitely stay again when I am in the area on travel.

I am currently staying at the Holiday Inn in New Castle and it has been such a nice stay. The staff is so welcoming and the place is brand new. Highly recommend.

Great hotel. The Staff was attentive, the rooms are comfortable, Rita at the front desk was amazing! When I need to visit the area again I will definitely stay here again.

Hotel was nice and clean and employees were nice and helpful. We enjoyed the time there and the pool and breakfast was bonus!

A special thanks to Sam (Samantha). After Priceline screwed us over on the night of March 1st 2018, and diverted us over 30 miles in blizzard like conditions from our original destination. We called and Sam helped us out, so we ended up here during a large snowstorm. She promptly helped my wife and child into a room, and then proceeded to help me back our 28' Penske truck with loaded car hauler out, and then into an area for parking. She went above and beyond for us that night.
Breakfast was fully stocked, great, and the automatic pancake maker was a hit with the little one. Thanks again.

Clean rooms, pool, free breakfast, friendly staff. Only real complaint is that it seems a bit pricey for New Castle.

Workers were so nice. Rooms were clean. No problem with the hotel itself. I did get a room on the top floor so the people above us couldn't keep us up and instead people on both sides of us banged thoughtout the night well past midnight. Love the hotel! Wish the other guests were more considerate!

Newish hotel. Spacious rooms and comfy beds. Love stating here when I come to town for business travel.

I typically stay here where I have to work in the area. They have very clean rooms with a modern touch. The staff are very nice, professional, and accommodating.

Stayed for a wedding, new facilities were pretty nice. However, the cleaning staff was having extremely inappropriate conversations and were not cleaning fast enough for others to get there room on time. Breakfast was decent, however there was no plain egg option, just vegan egg omelette.

Location is good. Rooms are superb. Seems to be brand new! Service is incredible and everyone is super friendly.

The hotel stay was great. The issue was I had duplicate pending charges on my debit card 2 days after checkout. I called to try to get the issue resolved but it could only be addressed by a manager who is not going to be available until the next day. I have stayed at several hotels and have never had this to happen. There seemed to be no urgency about correcting my account issue which could cause overdrafts on my account! Someone should be available for immediate assistance! Make sure you have confirmed there are no additional charges pending before leaving this location!

Famtastic staff & location — friendly & accommodating. Facility amazingly quiet — construction crews here when I was & I had room four doors from common areas. Not only other guests respectful, but sound deadening in nearly new hotel were amazing. Plus, accommodations (rooms, towels, etc) were the best I've had for the price. On busoness travel & I would stay here agajn in a heartbeat.

Had to stay here at the last minute. It was an excellent hotel. Easy to get to, very clean, and the customer service was exceptional. I would highly recommend this hotel. We woke up refreshed and happy, thank you!

The hotel was very clean and updated. Service was pleasant. The king suite was very roomy with a great bathroom and very comfortable bed. It was a great stay, I'd definitely visit again.

The area isn't very pretty right now, but the hotel is brand new and well appointed. It's in a convenient location for the highway, and is quite close to the little village as well. The rooms are clean, well laid out, and have everything you'd expect. The fridge was a little loud. The mirror in the bathroom had an inset true white surround light for make up, but it was startlingly bright. This is a great hotel.

This is a beautiful new hotel, but what makes it stand out is the people who work there. There was a problem with the pool and my granddaughter cut her foot… the staff went into four star mode… they were compassionate (even going out and buying Neosporin for us) … Alexis was a true stand out… checking on my granddaughter… making sure that management knew about the situation and following up with me in a friendly and professional manner. I ended up speaking with GM Renee who was extremely apologetic and anxious to make me happy. Ultimate they comped the room for the night and sent a very sweet email wishing myself and family well. If you are looking for a fantastic hotel with a phenomenal staff in western Pennsylvania stay here… you will definitely enjoy your stay!

Holiday Inn Express New Castle is simply wonderful! It's a new, modern, beautiful hotel, with clean, spacious rooms, comfy beds, and spotless bathrooms. The full breakfast was delicious, we loved the sausage gravy and biscuits:) The staff is super nice and attentive! Lovely place, great staff!

A wonderful staff and nice, new facility… A salute to Brandon, Amanda E, Lexi and others who made us feel welcome. (We needed a few days locally while a home remodel project was completed. ) Thanks to all. We certainly would stay again, and take this as our recommendation for a good, clean and helpful location in New Castle, PA.

1. In my room safe doesn't work so I pick up the phone to call front desk and phone doesn't work, I call from my cell and they say we know your phone doesn't work, well if you knew it didn't work why didn't you tell me?. Then safe doesn't work because battery dead had to wait for maintenance. And also printer out of ink and no one knows where the toner is, it has been 2 days, I am here on business and can't print, I do not recommend this hotel.

Brand new facility with modern design. Very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and attentive. The breakfast was sub par, and our beds weren't turned while we were out.

My mother and I stayed 12/11/16 thru 12/13/16 while visiting my son who lives in New Castle. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is not as cookie-cutter as most, with thoughtful design elements, such as the wallpaper in the bathrooms, "garage" doors in the lobby to the food area and conference rooms, a plated wall and elegant pendant lights. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was varied and delicious. The only suggestion I would make is to put more salt in the parking lot after a snow, as it was quite slick when we left after a big snow the day before. We will definately stay here again next time we visit!
