Nice clean room and good service.

Absolutely wonderful! Clean! Staff was AMAZING on all shifts! They truly care about making your stay pleasant and comfortable! Breakfast had healthy options that were delicious! This hotel should be winning awards for customer service! The best customer service I have ever had at a hotel! Hampton never disappoints but this location has it going on!

Our room was nice and very large and clean, breakfast was great! Fitness room was good, it was a bit pricey for being almost 45 min from cedar point and pool area had trash and food around it at 9pm but we would return again if we visited the area.

Great Hotel, excellent breakfast, indoor pool was loved by my daughter.

I’ve been to several Hampton Inn & Suites. The service is excellent, Breakfast Bar is top notch, the pool stays open till 1am. Just overall EXCELLENT!

Rooms are consistently comfortable, and breakfast is awesome.

This was probably the best hotel stay I've had. Clean, quiet, everything in working order. The staff were all wonderful. The breakfast was the largest selection I've seen, everything from oatmeal to bacon, eggs and French toast, bagels, muffins, yogurt, fresh fruit, waffles with so many topping options. Beds were comfy and there was even a heavy extra blanket in the closet which I was thankful for since my daughter is always freezing. The indoor pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained also. I literally have no complaints about this hotel.

It was a nice hotel with good amenities within the hotel. One reason I didnt give it 5 stars was there were no restaurants around the hotel except Subway and McDonald's. Otherwise it was great.

Very clean and affordable place to stay. The rooms have just about everything you need and the staff are very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast is excellent.

We stayed here with friends (5 of us) on a trip to Cedar Point. The suites have 2 queen size beds and a sofa sleeper so they accommodate larger groups or families. The room was clean and well kept, and the beds were comfortable. There was more space than I had expected, which was nice with 5 of us. The staff had also taken notice to stock the room with enough towels and extra linens for the sofa sleeper. Other amenities were also up to or above my expectations, including breakfast, the pool, and check in. I enjoyed our visit.

We only spent one night @ the Hampton inn in Sandusky but it was wonderful. The beds were very comfortable & the shower worked great! The breakfast was delicious & the staff was very accommodating.

Excellent hotel, this will become our stop of choice. Even on the way out they gave us a few complementary water bottles while we were eating breakfast. The staff were very thoughtful.

The room was nice and spacious. And especially for it's close location to Cedar Point it's ease of access vs price is a great ratio. Very wonderful staff.

This Hampton inn lives up to the HI brand. Spacious room, that was clean and comfortable. The breakfast is standard across the board. I did appreciate the premium deer park water as the complementary bottle. Other hotels I frequent use the Costco off brand.

Great overall. We had to cut our trip short but staff were understanding. Highly recommend this hotel.

Heads up if you are part of a sports team coming in for a tournament and your team unfortunately loses out earlier then expected, this hotel will NOT work with you on any kind of an early departure. They will charge the full days regardless if you stay or not. They will first lie to your face and say it’s all through Traveling Teams (since its booked through them on the reservation) but after talking with Traveling Teams they say it’s up to the discretion of the hotel. Just do your research with the hotel prior to booking a reservation for your team. Best part is on their countertop is a 100% guarantee sign to make you happy and have the best stay ever. Well it wasn’t.

Very nice, clean, attractive suite and breakfast room. All of the people were friendly and helpful. Sephie was very attentive and wanted to be sure we had a nice stay. Birdie in the dining room also gave great service.

Nice place — clean, cool pool and exercise room, and a nice breakfast. The shower faucet was loose and water drained slowly but the kindness of the people working there more than made up for it. Our kids really like the breakfast lady who gave them coloring sheets for the car.

The Hampton Inn in Sandusky was great. They had clean rooms and friendly staff. The pool was small but the kids enjoyed it. The free breakfast had a few different options and was well maintained. We stayed there as a stop over on a longer drive and would definitely stay there again for that purpose.

Nice, modern accommodations. Gave 4 stars because first time here, I had first floor room on a cold, winter day, and heater didn't work. No offer for new room, no compensation, nothing.

Wonderful place to stay, highly recommended by locals and truck repair facility personnel. Discount rate for truck drivers, rooms very quaint and they also have a bar with wonderful food.

Room was very nice, bed comfy, good breakfast, free coffee and fresh baked cookies at entrance. Pool and spa nice. Will for sure be back!

Pros: Room exceptionally clean. Room almost flawless. Staff extremely friendly, efficient, and sensitive to Lodgers needs. Love it when invoice is under my door waiting for me in the morning. Great TV. Very Nice experience. Neutral: Breakfast Cons: Bathroom Larger customers might want to consider a handicap room, or check their room first. Toilet is so close to the wall that anyone of any size will struggle and feel cramped.

We had a great one night stay here on our travels to Chicago from Pittsburgh. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the hotel was very clean and comfortable.

We stayed here last night on our way to DC. Excellent hotel and front lady was warm and very welcoming. Breakfast was vdry good and lady serving breakfast was super friendly. I recommend every one passing through to stay here…

Great morning breakfast. Though room had a creeky floor that I'm sure annoyed the snot out of the people below us. Walls a little thin, but very comfortable beds and nice hot shower.

Great service, nice hotel, free coffee and cookies, complimentary breakfast and friendly staff. Could use better pillows and better options for smokers. It was cold and raining and only one covered area to smoke which was at front entrance, not exactly inviting to non smoking quests when arriving. Would have been nice to have a refrigerator even if it was a mini fridge. Overall it was a great experience.

Nice location. New building. Nice staff. Only bad thing was the pool and hot tub had what looked like rock salt all over in it, but was actually the lining of the pool crumbling. Great location and beautiful decore.

I left my diamond ring that was designed in alternating square and circle pattern with diamonds in the center of each square and circle. I left it in the bathroom stupidly to put on lotion and left in the morning realizing I forgot to put it back on! Sadly housekeeping has yet to return it : (and I pray whoever found it returns it. No questions asked. I just want my ring back. Its extremly sentimental.

I stayed here a couple nights ago since my sister got married and they were AMAZING! They were super friendly and even put us In a room off in a hall by ourselves since we were going to be loud. They were even nice about us being late checking out because we were still getting the bride ready!

Nice, clean, good work out room, wonderful breakfast selection. Be careful if you travel with a lot of electronics. Tried to make tea and tripped the circuit to the room and the overnight staff didn't know how to turn it back on.

It's 3 years old, so everything is updated and modern. The staff is superb-top notch. The pool is salt water and it was great, but the floors were tile and really slippery especially if you have kids — poor design. I am very surprised I can hear my neighbors LOUD and CLEAR through the closed connecting door and they are just speaking at a normal tone. I thought the beds were not comfortable for being a new hotel. It's nice, but overpriced.

Excellent! Great hospitality, coffee and snacks and breakfast. Also VERY nice rooms! We had a suite and it was probably the nicest room we ever had in a hotel before. We LOVE the Hampton Inns!

Could not have been a better experience, especially after 10 hours of driving! check in was fast and friendly (and even warm cookies for the kids… okay, and the adults! ), and the housekeeping staff even left a bird-shaped towel in our room with a note that read "enjoy your stay! " — an above-and-beyond touch. the room was impeccably clean, pool area well maintained and neat, common areas appear to be brand new or recently redone. very happy with our stay. Will keep this hotel as a favorite for our road trips.

Nice clean room. Everyone slept good not much noise. I took someone's advice, even number rooms away from interstate Breakfast was good for a hotel. Close enough to cedar point and beaches about 15 minutes to anywhere. Restruant and mall about 10 minutes away. All in all good stay.

We were in town for a cheerleading competition. The hotel was perfect. It is very new and clean and has a great pool and hot tub. The staff went above and beyond. Taylor took extra great care of us on Saturday night as we mingled in the lounge area. I highly recommend this hotel.

The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms were very clean and beautiful. The front staff was very friendly, and we enjoyed the breakfast offered. We will return to this location on future road trips.

Super clean rooms, new furnishings, and breakfast was good. The first night we shared the hallway with a bunch of kids on some kind of trip (2 busses were in the back parking lot), there was a lot of noise and talking into the late hours. Would have made sense for the front desk to put us in a different location.

This is the best! We have family near by and no other hotel compares. Rooms are spotless great breakfast in the morning. We will stay no where else. Pool and hot tub for the kids!

We stayed at this hotel on 5/9/15. I absolutely loved the fact that we were there for it's first weekend opened. I loved that it looks so new and up-to-date. I would definately stay here again and would suggest it to anyone. My only issue was not everything was finished, like no frig in the room and the fitness room wasn't open yet, but I understand it is still being renovated. I look forward to staying here again when everything is finished. All the employees I met were extremely nice. I forget what the girl at the desk name was, but she was awesome. She told us some things that we could do the next day in that area. The guy at the front desk was super nice and answered all the questions I had. It is in a very good area too. Super close to Cedar Point, which is nice for when we come back up from Columbus to go there. Thank you :)
