A good, decent middle priced motel. I stayed here on a business trip mainly because I didn't want to spend the big bucks for one of the motels by the airport. The outside could probably use a paint job and the carpeting in the halls is a bit "dated", but overall it was a nice, clean comfortable place to stay. Very friendly staff too.

The building is nice to look at from the outside. The staff is very professional but It’s time for the carpet to be changed out, throughout the building as each room has a sour “old” smell. The double occupancy rooms are small, bathroom is nice. There are no microwaves nor micro fridge in the double occupancy rooms. On our last day, I killed a brown recluse spider in the bed that my wife and I were sleeping in. There are no security cameras inside the building, but there is a security guard who only shows up each night. My kids had a blast at the pool area. Breakfast is simple, cereal, waffles, yogurt, boiled eggs, apples, juice, muffins & coffee. And last but not least, they DO NOT have a secure smoking area within the confines of courtyard so smokers would have to stand out front to smoke; at a facility with minimal cameras… we’ll be staying elsewhere next time.

OMFG! There were a few employees who provided great service, but this Motel needs an overhaul. Completely! I'm not sure which was worse: the overly stained carpet, the overly stained chair cushions, or the blood stained mattresses. Don't be fooled by the offer of breakfast either. They've got waffles and cereal. Better off going to Tim Hortons next door. Actually, you'd be best off staying somewhere else entirely.

This was a perfect stay. Two nights in a room with one king bed. Room was comfortable when we arrived, water pressure was great (usually one of my only issues at hotels) and housekeeping made sure the room was again perfect on our arrival for the second night. Also conveniently located near restaurants and shopping! Looking forward to our next stay here!

The room was nice and clean. They were having cable issues which were never resolved. No television. The were extremely rude when I asked for compensation considering they didn't tell us prior to checking in. Their response when I asked was "No! There will be no compensation, but you're welcome to leave if you like without a refund". That told me they could care less about my business. So they will not be getting it ever again. We booked elsewhere for the remainder of the 2 week stay.

Night front desk check in was wonderful, very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was okay. But bathroom wasn't cleaned, floors were dirty. Told the front desk in the morning, no apology, nothing. Said okay. Not staying here again.

I'd describe most things about this hotel as just, "okay. " I can't point out any one thing as particularly wrong, it's just not the nicest hotel in the world. A couple positives: staff have been very helpful and kind. We got our room for the night for $70 with tax, which is a pretty incredible rate. It's the airport location, but I haven't heard any air traffic, so no worries there. It's on the edge of town, so driving has been necessary for us, but there are food options within walking distance. Some "drawbacks": the carpet doesn't really fit the halls (which I couldn't care less about, but might be a tripping hazard for some). This location doesn't have laundry facilities like some of the other La Quintas in town. Maybe I should give this hotel 4 stars, but with the qualifier that this is definitely a budget option. In general, we have all the amenities one would expect (toiletries, iron, blow dryer, bath/shower is fine, flat screen we haven't used, comfortable enough bed, pets allowed at no extra charge). I'd stay here again.

The check in process was nice. The guy at the counter was happy to put me on a hall so my dog wouldn't be bothered by a slamming staircase door. Hallway was not air-conditioned, smelled awful and the second trip outside with the dog there was a white powder that appeared on the staircase. I went to flush the toilet and the plunger in the tank wasn't connected to the handle on the toilet. I didn't take a shower because there was clearly hair in the drain. I do not recommend this location, even for it's closeness to the airport.

LQ closest to Columbus Airport. Have stayed at this property several times. Rooms and bedding were clean. Beds quite comfortable. Staff very pleasant. Corridor carpeting needs attention, but don't let that deter you.

I’m a return customer at La Quinta they’re my main hotel every where I go, but this one location is very disappointing, the room is disgusting it smell so bad, old style hasn’t been renovated, old carpet with lots of stains on the floor the room look and smell horrible, absolutely disgusting smell … How do I describe it best, it’s like a flooded bathroom that’s what it smells like. The AC has something stuck in the fan and it makes crazy loud sound when I turn the AC on and they said we have no other rooms to switch me to and the technician is already gone for the night so pretty much get the f outta here or suck it up and stay and I came here from a 16 hour car travel I’m dead tired, that’s how you appreciate your customer, never booking at La Quinta ever again.

Booked 6 rooms. One of our rooms ended up being across another room where people were blaring music, smoking weed, and women trying to sell themselves, at least one woman was walking the hall in nothing but a red thong. We called the front desk 4 times and cops once. The lady from the front desk came up every time but nothing changed and the cops never showed up. The guest should have been forced to leave since they were involved in illegal activities and causing a disturbance in the hotel but they weren't. Lousy hotel management. If that's the kind of hotel you want to run than you should let people know so they can choose to find someone else. I'm thankful we didn't have any kids with us since the hotel doesn't care about hosting illegal activities and the police don't even care to show up.

Wasn't sure if I made the right choice because the price was so low but I was pleasantly surprised. It was clean, inviting, and the breakfast bar was well-kept. Jazmin at the front desk was wonderful and very kind. She really assisted me in getting the room I wanted. It was quiet and very convenient to the highway and restaurants. I'd stay here again for sure.

Worst experience ever, I was already booked in and called ahead to pay with CC lady takes info said I'm all set. Get there to check in and no rooms ready at 3:15 check in is 3 so we go for ride 1 1/2 later get a call my room is ready so go back to check in and no info on room being paid, have to pay again so go up to room and room is just getting cleaned so we drag are stuff back down stairs as there is no elevator and tell them I need another room that's ready… lady tells me she will refund my card and sends me off to another room. Room wasn't bad but hairs on shelves and around sink… Never again will I stay at a la Quinta go to check out next morning and they have no info on refunding my room… total BS nobody knows what the F… Is going on there. Horrible communication between employees. Don't stay here! And I don't usually complain but this was unacceptable.

Pet friendly at no extra charge, which was the main reason we stayed here. Nice rooms, mediocre cleanliness, but less than desirable location. Front desk staff were friendly from start to finish and we even got help with getting bags to our room. The housekeeping staff, however, not so friendly and even unkind to our dog. If you complain, nothing is done to resolve it, so if you are thinking of staying here with a pet, think again. A little pricey for the area as well, in my opinion.

The manager and staff were very nice and mostly helpful. Unfortunately our room smelled heavily of cigarettes even though it was non-smoking, thankfully the manager came in and sprayed our room for us! Inside walls and doors are alright; however, one of the doors was broken outside near our room which kept us awake. You get what you pay for in essence. Some rooms are not the best whereas others are better.

Hotel room was clean just out dated a bit. Carpets in the hallway were stained and could be replaced. The best part about the stay is the customer service was outstanding. Very friendly and helpful with checking in.

Business stay. For what they charge, you get what I assume to be a clean bed, and a room and TV. A desk, a basic room. Hallways and through the doorways have stains. Doors/walls are thin. I could hear whenever people were talking when passing my door in the hallway. And could hear the guy above me when he was peeing. Actually peeing, not flushing… I heard the stream hitting water. I've been to worse, but I've definitely stayed at better. Had I been paying, this wouldn't have been my first choice.

My husband and I stayed there. In the morning our truck wouldn't start and we had to wait to get it towed. The staff was awesome with us. The manager gave us back the key to the room and said we could stay until help arrived. What a blessing they were to us, in a time of need. Thank you all.

Great deal. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The last guest had messed up the TV in my room but the staff fixed the problem immediately. The room was very clean. It's not a 5 star hotel but one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in for $65/night.

This place is slated for a 2018 renovation. I expect it to have all five of my stars then. Service (Nestor) was excellent and very personable. Breakfast included fruit and protein, not just carbs.

Breakfast was served, a fine variety, especially since it was included with the stay. Room was tidy. Small stains on the bed skirt, but nothing major. Staff was very accommodating.

ABSOLUTELY WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED AT… if I could have given ZERO stars I would have. The ENTIRE hotel smelled like marijuana… from the minute we checked in until we checked out the next morning, the smell was coming in our room under the door. (We actually had to put a towel under our door — not something I wanted my 4 yr old exposed to) There was a random pile of dog food in the corner in the bathroom… (we didn't bring a dog) there were stains on the sheets as well as blonde hairs… (I'm brunette) and there was a half empty can of beer next to the bed. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone… no matter how cheap the hotel is there is no excuse for dirtiness! FILTHY!

Just returning to the area from a flight and booked a room so we could watch the Buckeye game, spend the night before we head two more hours to home. We have stayed at Red Roofs many times because they are pet friendly. Very disappointed, the room needs a lot of attention. The room is NOT clean, phone, heater, rug, bathroom floor filthy. Toilet bowl looks like it hadn't been cleaned in months. Wood work around door in bad shape. Heater so loud we had to turn off. If we weren't so tired we would check out. Very very disappointed in Red Roof!

I I was stuck at the airport but absolutely nowhere to go the only room that was available was a smoking room which did not bother me even though I don't smoke I was willing to take it. That room was made available to me staff was incredibly Pleasant the breakfast was efficient freeWi-Fi. The price was totally reasonable I think that smoking rooms are usually undesirable even to smoking people also pet friendly but there's a benefit to that there's places for those people to go. Just keep in mind there is no elevator and if you're at the very end of the hall you're going to have a real workout. I was totally fascinated with this place and I'm usually an Uptown Girl but I'm totally glad that I was stuck in the airport all day.

I liked this location. Stayed two nights. The front desk staff was charming and accommodating. The hotel is older but seems well maintained. The bathroom was tiny — the toilet was super close to the wall but I think that's just the old floor plans. There are also a few restaurants within walking distance which was super convenient. Would stay here again.

AWFUL! My original room — filthy dirty, no towels nor washcloths, they were defrosting the freezer and had water all on bottom of refrigerator, the phone didn't work. They put us in another room, which was no better. Housekeeping never mopped bathroom floor, even after I made it known. Had to go down to get towels and cloths for two out of the 5 days we were there. Had to get cups, toilet paper, and tissues. Housekeeping didn't empty the trash. So we had two days worth of trash in our room. My daughter's socks were nasty because the carpets were filthy. The walls had coffee splashes, dust, on the fixtures… etc. The hall had not been vacuumed and you could tell. Needless to say, WE WILL NEVER BE BACK!

Room was acceptable for the price. Location was good and close to the airport with plenty of places to eat nearby. Staff was friendly and helpful, best part of the stay.

Great location. We were traveling on I-70 and this hotel is close to the highway and many restaurants in the area as well. However, it took us three tries to find an acceptable room. First one the AC did not function. Second room was water damage and had a horrible smell. Third one had the AC filters laying on the floor but that wasn't enough to make us move again. Finally, the pool was closed and that was one of the reasons I picked the hotel as I like to swim for exercise. I cannot recommend this hotel unless they get organized and get their maintenance going as one would expect.

Our rooms all had a very peculiar smell. I'm happy we only spent one night here. The extra star is for it being cheap… also the pool was closed and looked gross anyway, so I'm not sure we would have wanted to use it if it had been open.

This hotel was a huge disappointment. A dump. When we walked in the carpets were buckled, carpet & walls were stained, the air smelled like stale cigarettes/marijuana, molding & trim were missing throughout the hallways. The bathroom had hair on the floor, mold in the shower & on the walls, and was not stocked with anything but bars of soap. No microwave in the room. More than 1/2 of the electrical outlets in the room weren't working (plugs would just fall out, & not charge any device). The pool was also down, and we stayed over a holiday weekend in the summer (July 1-2, 2017), inexcusable. It was definitely not worth $115/night. The rate should have been discounted. Couldn't wait to get out of there. Unfortunately, I later found out there are other, nicer, cheaper, pet friendly hotels in the area. La Quinta was a name we trusted for quality & service, not any more. Do not stay at this hotel. Read the other 1-star reviews, they are spot-on & some recommend other, better hotels in the area. UPDATE: Contacted La Quinta through their website with the above feedback. Very pleased with their corporate office's quick response (same day, on a Saturday) & attempts to resolve the matter. Restored my faith in the brand, even though this hotel was deplorable.

Very disappointed. I've stayed in La Quinta Inn before and have been pleased. This location will make me extremely cautious when considering La Quinta Inn again. The room smelled like an ashtray. The staff when I checked in was not friendly or accommodating. The rooms were very dated. I would not stay here again.

My family and I stayed the night here on our trip. We only stay a La Quinta because they all allow our dogs and that's a huge relief, plus they usually are great hotels. Not this one. First off the parking lot was awful. I was pulling a trailer with my jeep on it and I almost had no room to park. Thankfully I was able to sneak in and park. If I hadn't been able to park in the parking lot, I would have had to park either in another hotels lot or at a restaurant and risk getting a ticket or worse. After 20 minutes finding a spot my mother in law came out to tell me what our room number was and then told me the price she was quoted on the phone from La Quinta was not the price they were going to give her. There was a $40 increase between the two and after talking with the manager they finally gave us the original price. Then we all went to the room. We told the staff that we have 2 children with us in hopes that we would have a room not near other louder guests. Boy was I wrong. We were put in the room closest to a door with a broken hinge so the door slammed when anyone used it, which was all night long. Did I mention the smell? It was awful. Not just in the room but in the hallway. We had driven 6 hrs with a toddler and a 5 week old so that added an additional 3 hours. If we could have left we would have but we were too exhausted. I know the hotel can't do anything about other hotels guests so I'm not rely upset with the drunken bikers doing burnouts until 3 in the month.

I have been to different La Quinta Hotels all over the world. Usually love staying at La Quinta and always use my rewards card but this La Quinta is awful! The place is old and dirty. The Breakfast was not fresh. The hotel next to it had a bunch of meth heads walking from it to the la quinta parkinglot. It was hard to find parking expect for in the back of the hotel which looked dangerous. This hotel was not worth $80 I could of stayed at some 1 star hotel for less if I wanted to sleep in such a nasty place. I am very disappointed La Quinta. Demolish this place and build a new beautiful hotel to match the many other great hotels you have.

Room was very clean and seemed to have somewhat new furniture. There was a flat screen TV that I never turned on. Normal amenities line soap, shampoo/Conditioner, ice bucket and coffee. Standard free breakfast with waffles. Pool was closed for the season. One dislike was the walls seemed very thin.

We are long time LaQuinta customers and have stayed at many different properties. We have stayed at this property at least three previous times. Something bad has happened to this location. The grounds are full of litter and dog poop, and there are no trash cans available to use. That is probably related to the excessive trash. Our room smelled and the carpet in the halls was dirty and worn. The room is desperately in need of a remodel. They have tried to patch the parking lot with cheap cold asphalt patching. This stuff is sticky and ended up on our shoes, suitcase wheels, and dog feet. We were so disgusted that we checked out and moved to another hotel. We strongly recommend avoiding this property until they remodel or rebuild.

The beds were extremely comfortable. Nice size room and plenty of lights. Bathroom was spacious and loved the shower pressure and hot water. Breakfast was great-plenty of variety. Biggest problem I had was the smell of cigarette smoke outside of the room and people yelling in the middle of the night (other guests). Staff was nice and courteous.

Overall the stay was good, the rooms could have had a little more cleaning and updates to the electronics. The breakfast was fine and the workers were nice.

The front desk clerk Helen was very kind and inviting making us feel very welcome. Room was clean and I enjoyed my stay overall.

DO NOT STAY HERE! If your getting the double bedroom smoking. THEY HAVE BED BUGS! I was sleep for only a hour, and woke up with bed bug bites all over my back! my 1st time staying in the smoking rooms. Which I hated! that's all they had left. I paid $88 for bed bug bites. — _ — like really? I could of went to some busted motel for $25 dollars for all that. I have pictures of the bites. Soon as I woke up and saw the bites I went right down stairs to tell the lady. She looked at the photos and brushed it off as in a oh well not my problem type of thing. So the next morning I spoke with the manager and they said the room would "go under investigation" and they would give me a call back. 2 days later I got a call back from someone just for them to get my side of the story and to tell me they still haven't checked the room out yet. I've been waiting for a follow up call since last Tuesday. NEVER GOT ONE! I feel cheated out of my money. And should be refunded some of my money. Or giving a coupon or something for the inconvenience. Idk how to upload the photos on here. But I will upload them on yelp. And I'm reporting this business to the BB business. If u don't mind getting bit while you sleep then enjoy. Otherwise dont come here. And definitely dont pay $88.

Room was basically clean. Staff wrre friendly. Stairways & carpet were dirty. Breakfast was a joke if you wanted anything but a waffle. Probably paid too much. Would make a different choice in the future.

Room was clean and the bed was the best aort of it. Wonderfully comfortable. About the stuff. Not quite friendly or willing to help. Superficially. Anyway. A good stay for the price.

There's a reason why this La Quinta is cheaper than the others in town. No elevators, super noisy air conditioner, and the hallways smelled like cigarettes. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, though.

The staff was the only good experience we had with this hotel. The first thing we noticed was the wet dog smell in the room. As dog owners we thought it was minor and managed to forget about. But then we crawl into bed to find out the sheets were moist and not dried properly. I almost asked to switch rooms but it was already ten at night. Throughout the night people were loud doors were slamming. Someone attempted to enter our room as if they were lost. After a horrible night's sleep I woke up to ants under the covers of the bed I had slept in. Then go out to parking lot and found used condoms. AWFUL PLACE to stay! Got a full refund though.

Opened the door to the first room I was given to find it was filthy inside. There is a room down the hall from me that is literally FILLED with garbage, nearly a foot deep, throughout the room, with a really handicapped looking old woman who just sits in the open doorway. Really creepy and gross. Don't think I'll stay here again. I don't feel unsafe, and MY room is clean (right next to the trashed original room), but in the future I'll look elsewhere.

I can't say enough good things about this place. The beds are so soft and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. We ended up here because our car broke down. Jenn was at the desk, got us rooms right away, the number to the local Enterprise, the take-out menu to the restaurant next door and a list of pizzerias who delivered "Just in case we hadn't eaten" Thank you so much.

Never had a problem with La Quinta, don't expect I will. They've always been polite to me.
