Our stay at the hotel was a good surprise. After reading some negative reviews (after booking the hotel), I was really concerned wondering what we would get. My experience was completely opposite! The elevators were good, personnel extremely helpful and friendly… especially valet parking and the room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel especially for anyone wanting to walk to a baseball or football game or just wanting to stay downtown. My only negative comment would the stains in the bathtub tile. They need a hard cleaning.

My stay here was good. The welcome desk and check in staff were quick and efficient. There were many events going on so it was busy. I liked the location as there's a lot to do within walking distance. The hotel did look outdated inside, the room was clean but small, and they don't use fitted sheets. They also charge $28 for valet. I don't know if that's nightly or a one time charge. For the location and price, I'll be returning. Just park in the garage next door.

Great Downtown Cincinnati location. Beautiful Hotel. Room was very clean, with high end linens, great pillows and very comfortable bed too. View was amazing at night… city lights and skylines. Roof top pool was relaxing and well attended to. Lots to walk around and do. The city square has a enormous water fountain surrounded by shops and restaurants. The staff at the Millineum were awesome, very accommodating. Our concierge was the best during check in. Told us where everything was located near the facility… even a pharmacy… all without being asked. We will definitely be back. Thank you Millennium. Well done!

Not sure why all the bad reviews for this hotel. We stayed there for a concert July 26 — July 27 2018. Room was clean, bathroom was clean, TV worked, A/C worked and had a fresh brewed cup of java in the AM. Hotel and their employees were very nice. Would give it 5 stars but no complimentary breakfast. But no big deal drove down the road to Lebanon and stopped at the Country Kitchen. Would stay there again.

Friendly staff.

Staff was amazing. Very helpful and easy to work with. The line to check in was long and took 40 min to get through. Then another 15 min standing in line to use the elevator. The room was pretty small compared to other hotels in the area as well. Location was great for fountain square and the stadiums. Unless it's an only option, I won't likely be staying again. Thanks to Domingo though, he was a pleasant and happy bell man just ready to help everyone.

Clean and comfortable and in great proximity to much of downtown Cincy's attractions. Perfect location if you're doing anything at the exhibition hall next door. I deducted a couple of stars due to the stained popcorn ceiling, (several spots) dirty windows and a leaking refrigerator that left the wooden credenza in resided in stained and warped from the moisture. The bathroom was fine, though the 'water saver' shower head was low (I'm 5'11" and had to bend over to get my hair wet). The bed was very comfortable with clean linens. I'd stay here again, it was as expected for a mid range hotel.

Over all the hotel was a great experience! We stay right downtown in clean hotel with incredible staff… And that's all we asked for! There's a restaurant and bar on the lobby floor, make sure you get cheaper parking by going to the parking garage next door (I laid $12/night! ), and don't get upset if you have to wait a bit for an elevator! I will say, I had some CRAZY strong water pressure but I won't let that mess with my review. I highly recommend!

The interior of the lobby was beautiful. There were many pieces of art (mostly pictures/paintings) displayed everywhere. The employees at the front desk were great. It was very easy to find my room. The room was bed bug free.

Hotel is incredibly fine. Location was great. Service at front desk was good. Room was spacious but felt unwelcoming. They installed a microwave and fridge during my one night stay which was unusual. The hotel looks dated. My fridge was clearly used having large marks on the side. Carpet in the lobby needs attention and it was cluttered from a function they had there over the weekend. Heater/ac was good at keeping the room at a consistent temperature, but didn't heat the room after I cranked it to 75+. There was nothing bad about this hotel, per say, but there certainly wasn't anything that made it stand out. A comfortable stay, but it felt that the hotel didn't take care of the details.

The Millennium Hotel Cincinnati is an inexpensive option for the downtown area, but you get what you pay for. First the positives — the staff, especially the bellhop, were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the floor was quiet. Otherwise, the hotel is badly in need of renovation. In the lobby at check-in, there is a large portion of the ceiling that shows water damage. Much of the carpeting and upholstery is worn and stained. One bed had dirty sheets and one of the two towels were thread bare. Overall, this would only be a last resort for me, on par quality wise with a Days Inn.

We stayed 2 nights in the South Tower for Reds Opening Day Parade. Wonderful, friendly staff. Hotel was clean, and beds were very comfortable! Pleasantly surprised for the price we paid. Right downtown, so close to everything.

We stayed here for the weekend to participate in TechOlympics and had a great time. The rooms were clean and nice, the staff was great, and no issues arose. They were flexible with the rooms as well which was great.

Service and room is good.

I really enjoy the cleanliness of this hotel. What's great is that it is perfect walking distance to all the great spots in Downtown Cincy. Super close to Fountain Square and can even walk to The Red's Stadium & Energy Night Club with ease. There is a parking garage right next to the hotel which makes it super easy and convenient when unloading and loading luggage. I did not like that the staff was rude to my friend group because we were a younger crowd (ages 21-27) ; I understand if they have had bad experiences with groups in the past, but they acted like we were a last priority and could care less if we were going to enjoy our stay. Customer service was less than great at the front desk and check-in.

Not worth the money unless your down town for something, extra for parking like$28a day and also told us that there would be a pull out couch and there was not. Pool wasn't open but said we could go and sit out there and we couldn't. On web site said they have nice restaurant over looking the city and they haven't had for 3 years and still on the web site! What they say they are everything but! Probably be closed or sold very soon don't make you feel at home AT ALL! JUST A LOT of extra money spent they hide from you. Rush lake WI.

Overpriced. Parking, breakfast not included, elevator area smelled of sewage, average ammenities in room, housekeeping did not leave coffee for next day and brought up 2 refills when I had 3 people in room (noted on reservation. For less money, I have had better services and parking/breakfast included. Beds were comfortable but otherwise I could have saved money staying somewhere else.

The worst hotel experience of my life. In the first room the bath tub was broke and had mildew. The room had what looked like feces on the wall and the wall paper was peeling off the wall. We got moved to another room and the second one was only better because it didn't have feces on the wall. The tub had mildew and was broken just like the first and the wall paper was peeling off just like the first. And not to mention the drunks and pot smell from the room across the hall that some how made it into our room. And way over priced. We have stayed in the Galt House in Louisville Kentucky for less money.

As a notorious ice chewer, I’d just like to comment that their ice is very nice for chewing. 10/10 would recommend if you’re also an ice chewer.

First of all, the tiny room was extremely over priced, we asked for an upgraded room and where they put us wad basically a very large broom closet. We had checked in at about 2 am from a night out during st Patrick's day and found there was no hot water in said broom closet. We didn't call maintenance simply because of the time of night we just turned in. The next morning, we rechecked and still no hot water so we decided to just check out and head out. When we told the girl at the front desk, she asked why we didn't call maintenance. I explained why and she said nothing would be done because it's on us for not calling maintenance. I asked if she was serious, that nothing would really be done for us not being able to shower in our hotel and she again said it was on us for not calling. Aggravated to say the least we took our receipt showing we were charged full price and paid full price for the valet who completely blocked our car in between two others. We made it a point to show we would have to do a very complicated 3 point turn to get out and no one offered to help. Probably the worst encounter we have ever had with any hotel anywhere and we do a lot of travelling and have stayed in some unfamiliar areas. Avoid this place at all costs if you want peace of mind that you will be treated as a guest!

Very friendly check in experience, room was clean and spacious. Everything was as expected! Will probably stay here again next time I'm in town.

The only pro was it was located next to the convention center. You don't get what you pay for. There was no coffee in the hotel. Was suppose to have 2 queen beds for 2 doubles instead. The floor in the bathroom was all cracked the handle to the bathroom door was broke. I will not be staying here again. Worst hotel ever.

If I could rate this place zero stars I would. If you can help it, book a room in the Hilton or Hyatt instead. I don't recommend this hotel as it was one of the worst hotels and motels I've ever stayed in. If we were paying for this room I would've checked out immediately after seeing our first room. The rooms were motel quality, small and dirty, we stayed in the south tower. The north tower rooms were significantly larger. The first room we got had a residual smoke smell like someone smoked a pack in the room and the floor had multiple stains of varying colors and it looked like the carpet hadn't been vacuumed for a few months. Second room was a little better but if you didn't pull the door shut, it wouldn't close and our bathroom door didn't close at all. The room didn't smell like smoke but had a musty smell to it. The hotel is poorly marked so navigating anywhere is a pain and none of the telephones worked when we tried to call down to the front desk.

Booked room 2 weeks in advance took the money off my card before I was ready. The room was dirty had to give us another room view was terrible and the parking was $28 a Day. I’m so not satisfied and disappointed they most certainly did not live up to the name millennium.

Large but outdated rooms, expensive for the service that lends.

The hotel is very pretty 4 stars. However the rooms are going down hill a little. Still nice but more like a 2 star motel and the conditioner and body wash were already open. Staff was great. A WARNING though, overnight parking is $15 and they don't validate or you can valet for $28.

First the staff at this hotel is great they go above and beyond for the clients. If it was not for the staff I would give it a 1 or 2 star rating. The first room I checked into the shower did not work at all. So we had to be moved rooms I was fine with that, the second room the shower did not drain correctly it took forever but I was not changing rooms again. The wallpaper in the second room is coming off one wall next to the bed. They also are testing the fire alarm system and I have no problem with that but dont do it at 930 in the morning do it in the afternoon when all your guests are checked out think of them before you do anything.

This place has some problems. I don't doubt that at one point this was a really nice hotel but it is well beyond its prime and needs some TLC. My review is based off my stay in room 919. The first issue is parking. You either have to valet for $28 or stay in the public garage next door for $17 (which is not connected to the hotel by the way). I have stayed at hotels that require you park in a city parking garage but they have always had a deal where the parking for their guests was free or heavily discounted. Judging by the interior and exterior here, they probably can't afford to do that but more on that later. Check in went well enough except our room wasn't ready when we got there so we had to wait for it. Next HUGE problem was the elevator situation. There were three elevators for our wing of the hotel and one of them was broken. The hotel was extremely busy so we had to wait a minimum of 10 minutes to go up or down on the elevator. We were there Saturday and they said they weren't having it fixed until Monday. Again, probably couldn't afford to pay weekend rates to have it fixed when it should have been. We took the stairs down on a couple of occasions because we were pretty sure the elevator was never coming and the stairwells smelled like pee extremely bad. I have no idea why the doors aren't locked from the outside to prevent them from being used as toilets. Onto the room… the bathroom had stains on the floors and bathtub and there was rust on the fixtures.

It is very central and has a nice view but never serves the internet, the beds are very fragile and has bad smell part of the Loby.

Pros: Great downtown location near tons of restaurants, stores and bars. Great staff. Cons: Our room had stained carpet. The hotel could use some updates and no free parking. Valet is $28.00 additional dollars a day and Self park is either hourly or $17.00 overnight but no in and out service with the self park set rate.

Very dated hotel. Doesn't appear to be very well taken care of, but was fine for a single night. Bathroom didn't have a vent, which over time seems to have left the room smelling quite musty. I would imagine that's the case in all of the rooms. Nice location near the streetcar line, riverfront park, and decent restaurants.

Horrendous guest services far overshadows any of the positives this hotel offers. Our reservations specifically said "quiet room. " Our room was the second room from the elevators, which ensured we got to hear all of the people coming in after the Reds game got done. The rest of the night was accented by the ice machine (directly across the hall from our door) which was noisier than a shop vac, every 20 minutes or so. The lady at the desk confirmed our reservation said "quiet room" and told us to come back after 7:00am and "maybe they can do something, like a free breakfast" (we had already paid the upcharge for breakfast. ) After 7:00 am, we went to the desk and again commented about the loud room vs the quiet room we'd requested. She didn't bother to check the reservation, but rather deflected and gave us a canned "sometimes requests don't make it on the reservation" answer. (Never mind that the previous person we spoke with DID check and confirm that it DID say "quiet. ") Ignore guests' complaints, dismiss them by blaming them on supposed recurring system issues, refuse to accept any culpability… this place is the worst example of guest hospitality.

I was an overnight guest at millennium hotel, just a quick stop on a long road trip. The hotel itself is in a great location nestled in downtown Cincinnati. The staff were as friendly and accommodating as possible, even telling about local events that aligned with my hobbies. I stayed in a single king room, on the 22nd floor. The room was clean and well accessorized. I did not order room service. I did take advantage of the valet service, and the young men there were great and cared for my car as if it were their own. 10/10, would stay again.

Most of the place is being renovated. Our room was very worn looking. The bathroom tiles in the tub where blackened and the fan was completely molded over. The AC unit was in full blast but even then didn't make too much of a difference in the room. We stayed here for 3 nights and our room wasn't cleaned at all after the first night. For the price of the stay, it was a great value. Bed was comfortable and the pool was nicely kept. The staff was awesome, they seem very professional and kind. I am hoping that once they finish updating rooms that it will be a great place to stay. I am just a big stickler for cleanliness in bathrooms and I felt very very unclean in the bathroom.

Good location downtown near attractions, with easy nearby parking. Rooms are adequate, nothing to write home about but simple and tasteful. Service was good, and the restaurant food was tasty even though full dinner service ended early, changing to a late night menu at eight pm. Pool was nice, not crowded and kept clean. If you're the type that is just in a hotel to sleep, would recommend.

On the outside this hotel looks amazing but once you get to your room it's just another hotel. Being a Disabled Veteran I had asked for a wheelchair accessible room which they gave me but you can barely turn around in it. But the worst thing is, myself and several HUNDRED other Veterans are staying here for a competition. The hotel supposedly gave us a great deal on the rooms at $136 a night. But when I went to the hotels website, I noticed that if I wasn't with this group of fine, outstanding, brave, individuals, I could have gotten the room for $76 a night? So much for giving us Veterans a great deal?

I've never done one of these reviews, but I am now. My room looks and feels like a Motel 6 room. No remote, no trash cans at all, no Do Not Disturb signs… The bed felt like a roll-out couch bed. I had no comforter on my bed. The room and bathroom are very small, but I could deal with that. Bummed.

Clean and convenient location! First night stayed on 20th floor in South tower. Bed was not horrible but was expecting a better quality mattress. Couldn't connect any devices to Wi-Fi and experienced a low water pressure issue the following morning. Hotel staff was great and moved us to North Tower, which was more updated… better beds… and good Wi-Fi! Would stay again!

I had serious doubts about staying here after reading the reviews but it was all that was available so I crossed my fingers. A lot of the reviews are overly dramatic. Sure the rooms aren't giant and it's slightly outdated but nothing to truly deter me. The bathroom was clean and the staff was very accommodating. It's not going to be a luxurious stay but it will absolutely be suitable for a night or two.

Every one of the pillows on the bed was eight inches thick, I measured… Maybe if King Kong comes to stay at the Millennium he'll sleep soundly, but for anyone who doesn't resemble a 40-foot tall silverback gorilla, sleeping on these pillows feels like getting curb-stomped for seven straight hours. The air conditioner rattled worse than $9 of change in the dryer, I had to turn it off to stop the racket but then I sweated like a pregnant sow. The amenities were acceptable, the staff was courteous, but I slept like doodoo, and sleeping is kind of the point of a hotel. Two stars.

Hotel is falling apart. It appears that they have decided not to maintain the hotel. Very dirty lobby and conference areas. Restaurant closes at 8pm, not 10pm as the website says, and the food was not good at all. Hotel staff was pleasant. For a few $$ more you can stay at the Hyatt or Hilton across the street.

Attractive appearance, great location but the rooms were dated and had minor repairs needed such as shower water not shutting off, and plug to hair dryer broken. Otherwise fairly clean and slightly over priced.

Went for a work conference and stayed one night. The first day the air went out in half the conference room and with 800 people out got really hot really fast. Not much could be done but the second day was better. Or room was nice and clean. Shower left a little too be desired. Not enough electric plugs in the room.

When you first walk in it is really hard to find the front desk. However, staff is really nice and helpful. Expedia messed up pur reservation and they made sure it was taken care of. Our room was clean. Furniture was updated and put together well. Carpet could use a good cleaning or be replaced. Location is great about 10-30min walk to anything. Price for the room is much lower than anywhere else. No major complaints here!

The staff were extremely friendly and polite, so I wish I could say nice things about the room, but I can't. The shower was broken and there was no hot water; the coffee maker was a nice touch, but when I opened it up to add water I discovered it was filled with mold. On the bright side, I was surprisingly given a room with two beds, and one of them appeared to be clean! I slept in the clean one and it proved comfortable. Nice, quiet location in the center of downtown.

TechOlympics is held here every year and the business center can easily hold over 500 attendees. The staff is the nicest anywhere and they provide great meals. A bit older, but perfect for a convention.

Nice room, except I literally had to pull the bed from the wall so I could find an outlet to charge my phone. Not very personable staff at front desk. Miscommunication about the parking situation. Have to use city garage $16/night which isn't Crazy but had no clue what to expect. The cable sucked, channels kept coming in and out thanks to 1990's satellite in a place ironically called millennium. Wi-Fi was unsecured which I'm sure is a reason for how slow it was. Lobby was large and impressive, but as you look around you realize it is all wasted space because they're not doing anything with it.

Visited the Millennium Hotel for a high school tech convention. They suported over 500 high school students. The hotel was great nice room and great service. They helped run the convention great and have a very friendly staff. Would recommend for convention.

Rooms were great! Very clean. Friendly staff. Nice bathrooms. Can't wait to come back next year.

Sadly I have to give this hotel 3 stars. The cleaning lady was very nice and accommodating. The fact there was no room service blow my mind but there was a restaurant inside with horrible service. We stood at the entrance awaiting the hostess and ended up having the bartender seat us; flavorless food (overpriced) and watered down drinks. The upside is there are many restaurants within walking distance (Panera Bread, Chipotle, Pot Belly's, etc)

They provided the best service possible and the hotel was kept nice. I had an awesome time. It was NYE so there was a lot of traffic, which meant that we always had an elevator wait, but that has nothing to do with the quality of my experience.

You can tell that this was one of Cincinnati's finest at one point. However, that point was decades ago. Rooms are dingy. Hotel was empty (and it's a LARGE hotel, so you notice when it's not busy. Feels like a ghost-town). Signs outside were broke and missing letters. There's better options. Shop around.

Nice hotel and the staff was terrific. The reasons for the three stars are the following: The valet parking was full and the only available parking was a garage that had an excessive fee. Oddly enough, the hotel across the street that houses more guest had enough parking for all their guest. The line was so long to check in, it literally took 1 hr 19 minutes to get a room. I have never experienced such a delayed check-in in all of my travels. Finally, there wasn't a fridge in our room, in spite of one supposed to be there. That was minor, but could be a issue for someone that truly needed it.

Perfect, super nice, a few blocks from the stadium, to Macys 2, 3 of the main square and about 8 blocks from the emblematic bridge from your Cd…
Very friendly service, very nice Hotel and clean rooms and comfortable, and good size, fast its elevators. I give it 5 stars.

Staff was friendly and did their best to help, but simply don't have the tools or abilities to truly help. The walls and ceilings are thin, our first room had bedbugs, the second room was fine. Their housekeeping manager was very kind and went over the 2nd room with us to make sure we were satisfied. We requested no quilts, since there were spots of blood on one of the quilts in the first room, as well as spots of blood on a pillowcase. When we returned to our room the next day, housekeeping was minimal, they didn't fully restock the products and although there was shampoo, we never saw conditioner. They didn't even wipe down the surfaces in the bathroom. The carpet was sticky. The toilet ran constantly, but we didn't want to complain and get relocated to another room with bed bugs. Water leak on the ceiling, which had damaged the laminated wooden leg on the bed, and obviously permeated the carpet. The heater/AC unit had a dial that swivels around completely and it was almost impossible to get a consistent temperature. The hotel had booked 590 other rooms to a fraternity, and they were actually pretty nice, but the hotel elevators simply couldn't accommodate them, us, and the massive gay leather convention that took place there. At one point I had to wait 15 minutes in line just to get on an elevator. One of the students remarked that this hotel seemed to be one big fire hazard and I must agree.

Location in the city is ideal, but experience has been lack luster. While here for a conference, the staff has jerked the group around, tried to charge the group more arbitrarily, and been generally mean. The rooms are small, no queen beds, beds are hard as rocks, the most uncomfortable pillows I have ever slept on. Several issues with our room that maintenence said "they could do nothing about". While they did offer discounts and room move it was still frustrating experience.

I was not impressed for the price of the room. There were stains on the towels in the bathroom not to mention when the reservations were made the women making the appt. Said "yes" we have a pool! And failed to mention it is outdoor and seasonal. Unless you want to pay to valet park, you will be walking 2-3 from your car to the hotel. Location was okay, I just expected with the price that it would be better than a holiday Inn and it wasn't. Rennovations are needed badly in the rooms. The service was nothing special. I wasn't impressed one bit.

I thought the value of the room was fair. The staff was helpful and polite. Great location, very clean. The parking garage next door didn't have a convenient entrance to the hotel but this is not run by the hotel, so I believe it's out of their control. I enjoyed my stay.

I reserved a room in the superior 2 doubles room (and received a confirmation) in the north tower but was told when I arrived at 2:30 that the room wasn't ready. Front desk said if I want the room I reserved then I needed to return later. When I came back at 7:30 I was checked in and no one said anything about the fact that I was not getting the room I reserved. I immediately noticed the room was old and dingy. When I checked my reservation I confirmed that I was supposed to be in the North tower, not the south. When I called the front desk they said, "oh well your room must not have been ready, we were really busy last night. " No apology — just too bad. Unfortunately, I'm stuck here for two nights — Not sure I will be able to sleep.

My family and I just stayed here from 9/25 — 9/27. This was our first time to Cincinnati and I'll say in was less than pleased. This hotel is rather run down, dirty, and out dated. The ladies working at the check-in desk were rather unpleasant. When we arrived to the elevator to go to our room, it stunk of mildew and vomit and our floor was dark and looked like I was in a second grade motel. The carpet was pulled up and rolled, the floor stunk of mildew and musty. To our room, it was small and the accommodations were very poor. One of our beds had a flat sheet that was being used in place of a fitted sheet, the bathroom was dirty as well. In the shower, I found some hairs on the hall and they were covered in filth. It looked like it hasn't been throughly cleaned in a LONG time. I could go on and on about it but I'll just say this… it ruined my first trip to Cincinnati and I probably will never go back. I wanted to cancel my reservation but my wife was giving the. The benefit of the doubt. Needless to say, by the time we left, we were not pleased at all. I give this motel 1-star because I felt I needed to give it a review… and I never give a review.

I usually book me and my spouse hotels, but I let her do it this ONE time. We assumed since the hotel was located downtown, that it would be a great place to stay. We were wrong. We had to call the front desk to send maintenance up to fix our TV because the channels were not working, and secondly, the coffee maker in the room still had coffee stains all over it (which indicated) that is was not cleaned. Third, the bed sheets and pillows had stains on them, which is TOTALY unacceptable for a hotel no matter where it's located. Now onto the bathroom. The towels also had stains on them, not all, but a few. Other people may have had better experience, but I for sure did not. We only stayed there one night because it was not reimbursable through the traveling site we booked through. Needless to say I would have rather stayed at the Red Roof and saved money or at the Hyatt where we usually book our hotels. It was so not worth the $120/ night… Oh and before I forget, all this was within the first 20 minutes upon arriving to our hotel room.

Absolute garbage. Literally everything you expect from a hotel, this place fails to fulfill. I don't ask a lot, and have little expectations above a quiet and clean room to sleep in. And yet, here we are, millennium hotel can't even deliver the basic premise of what a hotel should be. Oh? The rooms? They're clean, sure. But that's about where decent stops. While getting dressed after booking a week in advance, some other folks saunter in. Why? The quality staff had apparently double booked the room. That's after they are jangling about on the practically dangling door knob to the room that will barely turn properly. Oh and when we got back for the evening well after midnight? Room reeked of weed. Not in the hall, mind you, but the room itself. Anyone's guess where that was coming from but whatever, I guess. I would love to say that that's where the problems end and if it were let's be honest that's pretty trivial if it were. I don't care about anything but a clean bed and a nights sleep. That's a what a hotel is about after all. But no. In the south tower, well past 2 am in the goddamn morning there is music blasting from level nightclub into the room well above a conversational level. I call the front desk. Can I move Rooms? No. System is down. Of course. This the first time you hear of disruptive Music? Oh? It is. Sure. I bet.

Worst customer service delay at check in that I've ever seen, and I travel weekly. They look good normally on Priceline and Hot Wire, dntn and 3 stars, but the check in is horrible on weekends. The lobby check in is near 6th st, and the hotel takes up a whole block. Today, at 415, the line extended through the lobby to 5th st. The problem is staff, with 6 check in stations and only two of those manned. I have never experienced a timely check in here. The wait today will be 90 minutes+. I've had it with the lack of staffing management in this place.

I really don't know where to begin. I was in Cincinnati for three days on business. The hotel came recommended to me. Upon arriving, the staff was very kind. I was very tired from working all day and driving four hours. I arrived at the hotel around 9pm. I went to my room to settle in. First, I moved the bed about an inch to plug in my phone charger and the giant headboard fell off the wall and ripped gashes in the wall. I went downstairs and told the manager at the front desk and he waned to send maintenance up to repair. I thought, REALLY! Maintenance came up and said they would have to drill new holes to repair. I went back down and requested a new room. They finally accommodated my request. The new room was very musty and I could not get the air to cool the room down. I was too tired to deal with it. Got up the next day and began to get ready. The hair dryer fell off the wall and crashed to the floor. I went down to get breakfast and the food was great but not priced accordingly to the property. It should have been free. Worked hard and returned to a crummy room and decided to rent a movie and relax. $15.99 for a movie. Really! My biggest issue was the problem with the rooms and not one offer to make anything right. I am returning next week for three more days and I certainly will avoid this hotel.

I am here at the Millennium now. I will NOT refer this hotel to anyone. We were given a soiled room 1709 in the Sourth Tower. Carpet is nasty the chair is very dirty. When we complained they offered us an upgrade at 40.00 extra which we had to take becaue of the condition in 1709. They should have moved us without a fee. The upgrade is not even a standard room at Marriott. Ask for the North Tower if you have to stay. It is not good either but it does not smell as bad a the South Tower. I should have listened to the reviews posted but I didn't so now I am here. I rate it negative zero.

Stayed with my husband and first walked on the elevator and it smelled of cigarette smoke. Very frustrated that we checked out Tuesday and have already paid our bill and since they only did one night hold of $50 and we stayed two, they have retroactively put another hold on our account. This after paying our bill, checking out 4 days ago, and having the other pending charge come off. My husband called and there is nothing they can do about the retroactive charge until it processes. I prefer to stay at Marriott Riverside and shall continue to stay there on upcoming trips as this hotel was a last minute let's try something in the city idea. Unfortunately it was a poor choice.

Seriously awful hotel. Feels and looks abandoned, unbelievably dirty. Waited 10 minutes for the valet to show up, and I actually thought maybe the place was shut down (no one showed up). After checking in, I called about a crib for the room, and they just said "no" and hung up. The air is thick and musty, and they had crazy tubes attached to all the vents. Oh, and then the power, internet, water and phone lines all stopped working at once. I am not making this up! And when I say the water stopped working, I mean no water came out of the faucet at all. The entire hotel just stopped working instantly. We thought it might be a terrorist attack, but no, just an unbelievably crappy hotel. Don't stay here.

I'm staying here tonight, July 14, the night of the All Star Baseball game. The whole city is overbooked and nary a hotel to find. This one jacked up rate to $350 for a single room — king bed. No fridge. No room service. Spotty Wi-Fi. What a joke. Did I mention the unswept bathroom. (use your imagination on what I found in the corner). I had a better experience at the Hampton Inn in Niagara Falls, Ontario and that's tourist central. I had a better experience in Fairfield Inn in Elmira NY in a parking lot of a Walmart and training restaurant for Lone Star Steak House or something. I'm really irked that Millennium can get away with charging $350 for a room that rates more like $150. Oh, and don't forget there's taxes on that.

We had a great experience. Yes, building is older, but it was very clean, comfortable and the staff was really nice. Every member of staff that we saw greeted is and was very kind. We stayed in a two double bed room in the north tower with 2 adults and 2 children, the room was very clean with super white, crisp clean sheets. The only negatives were the cost of parking and there was an error in charging for an included breakfast. The staff immediately agreed to fix the error, now just waiting for refund to process.

Despite the negative reviews, this hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean and updated. The hotel staff was nice and friendly. I would stay here again because it's a 10min walk to the ballpark and there's so much to do within walking distance. There's a new parking deck right next to the hotel, it is not connected yet, but very nice. Park on the South side since that will walk you right out in front of the hotel. If you park on the north side, you have to walk around the block to get to the hotel. Don't let the negative reviews discourage you from this hotel, it was a nice stay and we were able to leave the car in the deck the whole weekend and walk everywhere we needed to go!

What a horrible experience. We were there for a cheer competition and it's supposed to be a convention hotel. What a nightmare! The rooms were filthy and very limited staff even though Im sure they were pretty aware they had a very large cheer competition that weekend. I tried to call the manager after to complain and it took him a month to get back to me. Try to even call the place to make a reservation the phone just rings. What a total dump.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable, room wasn't that big but it's adequate (23rd floor south tower, supposedly older rooms from other reviews). Wifi was free and good enough to stream Netflix/HBO on, this itself is a big plus given the limited TV selection. Staff is friendly enough and the location is great. Only thing that sucks is the cheapest nearby parking is $16 a night, valet is $25-27 without tip. I didn't have any of the problems some of the other reviewers have had. Hotel restaurant food isn't that great from the two meals I've had there (dinner) and what would you expect from a hotel restaurant. Quesada was good, Cuban sandwich wasn't. Rusconi's pizza is a good bet if you need food or are looking for a bar, It's just across the street. I'de defiantly stay here again.

Dirty, outdated hotel masquerading as a nice hotel. Broken bed. Very noisy. Pillows are too small on an uncomfortable bed. Bathrooms are bigger, which is nice. No microwave and terribly small fridge — not good for an extended stay and if you plan on purchasing groceries. Elevators take forever to run and are confusing. Rude front desk staff. Stay somewhere else.

I liked NOTHING about this hotel. It was dirty. Our door was hard to open. The bed sheets and blankets didn't look clean. The room is extremely small and so are the pillows. On top of it all they didn't leave me any conditioner for a shower. Only 2 of Our lights worked and it needs updated. Bad.

The building is old and the elevators are slow. The service desk, and valets made the stay simple and stress free for the flying pig marathon weekend. Thankful for the extended checkout time for the marathon.

The worst place I have ever stayed. The front desk was extremely rude and the staff were very disrespectful. I discretely asked for the manager and the front desk employee demanded to know why. I tried to explain that it was a private matter and she rolled her eyes and stuck her hand in my face. So, I told her that my bath tub had mice feces in it and my salad had a cock roach in it. I was not upset, but she was very angry for some reason. I have worked at 2 hotels and 3 restaurant and that is a normal finding. But, by the end of the day, that place had me convinced that it was my fault! In addition, I had the valet park my car and he hit another car in the lot and tried to blame me for the other car's damage. It was unreal.

Nothing in particular gave this hotel 2 stars. It was a little bit of everything. The room is old. The air conditioning turns on but doesn't project air. It also smells really bad when you turn it on. The sheets are old and uncomfortable. The shower is grimy. The smoke alarm went off from the steam of the shower. The windows don't open. They don't have a refrigerator in the room and they don't have room service. You have to hunt for a plug to charge your phone. There are no ceiling lights. Just lamps everywhere around the room. The lighting in the bathroom is horrible. The walls are paper thin. I can hear someone removing a coat hanger from the adjacent room as I type this. It smells bad. It just wasn't a nice experience. I dreaded going to my hotel room. I would pass if you could find a better place for the same price.

The only reason why it's has 2 stars is because of the hotel location. Outside of that. Yadda yadda yadda.

Avoid like the plague. Great location. Terrible customer service. Just try to call the main number and see if someone answers. That should give you a pretty good idea of how things work.

Lorraine, the guest services clerk was very accommodating. I had an emergency need for a hotel in the area and she couldn't have been more helpful, even though I was checking in after 1 in the morning. The rooms are fine and the TV is big! This is not a 5-star hotel, but it's not that bad and for the price I'll take it over the fancier (and much more costly) digs around the Convention Center.

Best staff ever! James (the front desk concierge) was extremely helpful, and always smiling and greeting people by name as they walked by, Myself included. I don't typically write reviews, but having such a nice experience, I figured i'd share.

I will never stay here again. The hotel, at least the south tower portion, was falling apart. When we arrived, the keycard system was down and we were told that a security guard would have to let us into our room. The security guard promptly admitted that "everything in this place is broken" — at that point I should have known better. Additionally, I requested 3 times, through 3 different means (at online booking in the notes, on a phone call the day before our stay, and verbally upon check in) that we wanted a room as high as possible on the south side of the hotel. I even told the young man at the front desk that we wanted a room like that because it was our anniversary and we wanted a romantic view of downtown and the river, he promptly told me that our room was on the south side of the tower and that, while we would have an okay view, we could not see the river anywhere from the hotel. I don't know if the young clerk was a liar or clueless because we ended up with a room on the north side of the south tower and only on the 6th floor (of the 20 some odd floors in the tower, I would not consider the 6th floor "high"). Additionally, our view was a spectacularly disappointing wasteland of black/grey rooftop, construction on a new part of the hotel, and HVAC equipment. When we left our room for dinner, I wanted to check to see if the front desk clerk was correct about the river view — he was NOT.

Super overpriced for a crappy room. Black mold growing in the bathroom, only one working lamp and only 20 channels to watch on the Tv. I will say the service was decent with the valet parking being reasonably priced and the bellmen were prompt and well mannered. It's just too bad they had to work for such a crappy hotel.
