Large private lobby area for gathering together to play games. Perfect place to stay for family wedding nearby. Rooms are nice. Great location for restaurants.

A hold was put on my debit card for valet parking just in case I decided to use it. Not cool! It will take a few days to get my $35 back when I should have never been charged in the first place. The hotel was expensive enough without the charge. I will be staying somewhere else in the future.

I loved our hotel and the location. It was easy to access to any restaurant without walking too far. The only downfall I would give them Is that we got stuck in the elevator for a minute. The doors wouldn’t open up. We hit the help button and was helped within minutes. They should turn that elevator off or get it fixed. We weren’t the only couple that got stuck on that elevator. I would recommend this hotel to anyone but just need to get that elevator fixed.

Very nice downtown hotel. The first floor is a little misleading, but once you get to the lobby on the second floor, it is your typical Hilton brand hotel. This Homewood is unique in that it shares space with the Hampton Inn, but does not seem overly crowded. The evening social was delicious and even had Blue Moon on tap. The gym was very large for a hotel with 2 ellipticals and 2 treadmills, plus weights and a bike. Biggest downside of this hotel was the inconvenience of parking — valet is available for $35 or you can park yourself in the garage immediately next door for $27 a day.

Beautiful hotel with a great breakfast. The lady at the front desk was rude and not very helpful when we asked for information. She was short with us. But the hotel itself was great the first time we stayed there! The room was left slightly messy with stuff in the dishwasher this time around. I gave the rating 4 stars because our first visit was great but if it was strictly on this stay it would be 3 stars.

All their systems were down which was not their fault but it made a horrible and long check in process. The lobby and especially the hallways were way too hot. I am not sure if all the elevators we're working because it took forever to get one and then when it did open, it would already be full from higher floors. We stayed in a suite because we are a family of five, but the room set up was horrible. The sink and vanity were open to the bedroom with two beds so when I got up to get ready it also woke up everyone. Then when I got out of the shower I had to get dressed in the bathroom and then shave. My only other alternative would be to stand half baked in front of my whole family while I shaved. Whether you are staying in a larger suite like that with family or friends, how is that possibly a good set up. Breakfast was until ten but they had already started breaking it down by 9:30 when we got down there. Would have made it sooner if not for the elevators.

Tile floors were sticky in the kitchen and bath area which was unsettling. Valet parking did not have call down number to retrieve cars so you have to go down and wait in line. At 5:30am when I was trying to go to work, the valet guy was no where to be found. Waited almost 30 minutes and was late to work because come to find out he was up at the font desk "filling out paperwork". The worst part of the visit was a couple weeks after when I reviewed my bill that was sent to my email. I was double charged for valet. I called the hotel, gave them my name and date of visit and said I was charged 3 valet charges for a 2 night stay. They put me on hold saying "let me check into that for you". 15 minutes later I hung up and called back now upset that I had been left on hold so long. The front desk clerk then chastised me like a child because she only had 1 computer working and had 50 guests to check in. Like I was the rude one who had wronged her. Unbelievable… never again.

We stayed 2 nights and the 1st morning requested housekeeping to come back in a couple hours after we left for the NASCAR race in Kentucky. When they did come back, they did not touch the pull out couch which was opened into the bed and obvious it had been slept in, much less change the sheets or even attempt to make it. They did not take out the garbage and left the garbage can full in the kitchen area. They did make the bed in the bedroom and replaced the towels. We also had a coffee pot that was broken, so they brought us a new one, but it didn't have a basket, so it still wouldn't work. Heather then delivered it herself (I believe she was a manager) and she was very nice and apologetic. And if you smoke (even if you're okay with going outside) BEWARE. There are pan handlers everywhere and the hotel does not even provide a bench or ashtray out front. Due to back problems, I wanted to sit down, so I walked over to the parking garage where there was a concrete divider by the entrance (picture of that attached) that I could kind of sit on and was verbally scolded by the parking attendant at 8:30 in the morning (the valet said his name was Roger). He didn't even say Good Morning or politely ask me not to smoke there, he just scolded me in a gruff voice. He was like Oscar the Grouch! I said, Well, good morning to you too (sarcasm) and since we're spending so much money to stay here, it'd sure be nice if they'd at least put a bench out front with an ashtray.

It was a very nice hotel. It was downtown, in a very old building with amazing architecture on the street level floor. The suite itself was very spacious (we had 2 adults, 4 kids). Full kitchen with a fridge/freezer. Staff was super nice and accommodating. The only problem we had was that it looked like someone had a pet in the room and there was alot of hair on the sheet. We simply asked for a new one and the lobby desk immediately handed me one. The breakfast wasn't great but it was enough. Super convenient parking garage right across the street with valet service. It was a great stay!

Great hotel for biz or family. Lots of stuff to do and see in walking distance. Breakfast good, rooms clean, affordable rates. Staff was very friendly and helpful with surroundings and such. Good restaurants close by!

Weird to get into and not much direction on where to park or enter. Once inside though, a great, clean place to stay with lots of room. Well cleaned and very nice staff. Breakfast was ok but nothing special. Didn't have time for drinks or anything at the lounge. Would recommend for business travel.

All Homewood Suites by Hilton provide large spacious suites with full size refrigerators and whole kitchen facilities. They have a social time at around 6PM on Monday through Thursday and serve casseroles, hamburgers, tacos and various salads. Beer and champagne are provided. Something different each night I always look forward to a stay at any Homewood Suites.

I've stayed in places all over the country and this is by far one of my favorites! The room was beautiful and very clean. They have a wonderful workout facility and the staff are the best I've ever had! So pleased with my experience here! They also offer a social on week nights with a small dinner and drinks! It was wonderful!

The room was nice and clean. The view was horrible as we just looked out on the top of another building. We were next to the noisy ice machine but fortunately the sound insulation was good and we did not hear the noise in our room. Coffee pot did not work. Hallways were very dirty with what looked like long time stains. Elevators sounded scary. Breakfast was fine and we especially appreciated the kindness of Shawna… the other helper was less postive… there were no plates, no bowls, no napkins at several times during our breakfast visit. When the missing eggs were filled… 'slam'' the lid closed. Bad attitude was felt by all around us. Thankfully, Shawna made us smile and went out of her way to help… Kudos to her!

My husband and I really enjoyed our 3 night stay. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast/evening snack staff are very attentive. Rooms are very spacious and clean. This location is centrally located with many dining options within walking distance. Parking garages directly across the street and right next store as well as valet parking. Highly recommend.

Had cancel due to an emergency hospitalization. Hotel charged me for 3 nights stay even though I had cancelled and never showed up. Managers never answered the phone nor returned calls. Completely unprofessional. Had to open escalation with Hilton chain and dispute with credit card. During the dispute process, 2 weeks later the hotel charge my card again for 29 cents. The credit card had to be cancelled as this was identified as a high risk of fraud. Never received any communication written or verbally from this hotel. Eventually most of the money was refunded. In some 35 years of business travel, I have never encountered such a poorly managed property.

Good hotel staff. Very helpful. Only complaint is with the valet. They keep changing my radio settings. I think they should leave the radio alone.

Always guaranteed to be a good stay at the Homewood. Beds were comfortable the room was inviting, definitely come back. Absolute beautiful historical property.

Check in was easy and a former news paper building so it has a neat art deco feel. The room is very modern and spacious. The breakfast was very boring and dissapointing. The evening event for new guests was also a disappointment.

Nice and clean hotel. Rooms were nice as usual. It would be nice if Hilton had better breakfasts. Their eggs always are horrible.

Beautiful room with tons of space. Its a shame I could only stay one day. I'd recommend it for a week!

The only option for parking is valet at $25 per night. The valet lost the key to my car and I waited over an hour outside with all my luggage before they would tell me what was going on. I then waited again another hour while they figured out what to do and eventually I had to drive all the way to the airport in Kentucky to get another rental when I was heading north in Ohio. I finally got on my way 5 hours later and the only compesation from Hilton was that they would give me 10, 000 honor points for my inconvenience. The manager was apathetic and eventually got more involved after I got upset with the service. Also the bed in my suite had a concave mattress on the one side where it was worn-out. Not a pleasant experience all around.

Clean and updated however… bathroom construction weird but I can live with that. During my stay, outside temp was 42… unable to get room warmer… maintenance up to room to inform temp cannot go any higher than 75… which that is what was displayed on thermostat… so you know what that means… no more heat! For $169/night… not worth it.

Great room. I got a king suite, which came with a full kitchen. It worked great for hanging out before going to the Red Sox v Reds game.

The front desk staff could have been a bit more customer friendly. The room was nice. The young lady running the kitchen was very warm, and friendly. She made my stay more enjoyable, with her engaging personality.

Very nice building, rustic. Rooms were very clean, quiet, and comfortable. We stayed in the queen suite. Lobby is on the second floor, so you must enter the building and then go to the elevator, then to the second floor to check in, kind of confused us at first; not too terribly inconvenient though, and didn't detract from the overall experience.

Nice hotel. Very cool atmosphere, clean room, included breakfast, great location right next lo Fountain Square. It was an easy walk to the Serpentine Wall for the fireworks. May stay again next year!

This is my first time at this particular location but being downtown Cincinnati I think the price was right, the rooms are large, and the beds were really comfortable. Weather traveling for work or need a place to stay while visiting Cincinnati I definitely recommend this hotel.

Nice place and In a large historic building that has character. It is the former office building for the Cincinnati Enquirer. Very clean and very nice staff including front desk, breakfast service and housekeeping staff. I would be glad to stay here again. My room faced an inside courtyard and was very quiet.

Great hotel in a very central location. About a mile to both stadiums and the riverfront park. Customer service is amazing, and the manager's reception with free wine and beer during the week is always a plus.

Yes, loading and unloading was a small challenge. Doors r little small bc it's beautiful older building. To me character is better then a bigger door anyway. Staff was top of the line. They were so kind and friendly to my children.

Homewood suites was great. I especially enjoyed the full-sized fridge, as it allowed us to purchase all our groceries for our entire stay. Location was convenient and staff was pleasant.

4.8 Really? — I say open an investigation on the ratings because I suspect they are picking and choosing which reviews to display or approve. Horrible experience and worst ever as a Hilton Diamond member — I will not stay here again and can not recommend it either. Matter of fact it has made my stay away list because there are so many great Hilton Hotels around. So many reasons to stay away. It all starts at the pain of getting in the door with your bags.
I am rating it a 2 because when I expressed to Dana, she seemed to actually care. It was nice that she even understood why I would choose Hampton next door over Homewood. She seemed like a fair and honest person but sure felt like my stay here was an experience I don't want anyone to ever have to go through.

The hotel is in Vine Street in Over The Rhine neighborhood. Valet parking is fast and the ability to send a text to have your car ready is fantastic. Rooms are excellent and the reason we choose the hotel.

Came for a mini Spring Break getaway with my husband and 17 month old son. Picked this hotel for the location and the fact we stayed in one last Summer in Savannah, GA. This hotel was great and the staff were very helpful and sccomodating. We would definitely stay again!

The location and value of the room was excellent. I appreciate the historical building and how the hotel has invested significantly into it's upkeep. The rooms were modern and clean.

Nice place, great staff. The crew working the am breakfast were great. The hotel front desk staff was awesome. Only downside is the lack of food served in the lounge. Should at least have appetizers.

Pros: The rooms are spacious. It is located in the least trashy part of downtown Cincinnati. There is a good selection of restaurants and bars close by. Cons: You get hit up for money right outside of the hotel. Even the least trashy part of downtown Cincinnati is still crappy. The elevators are in bad shape. Would I book this hotel again… Absolutely, just in a different city.

Location is great… Very close to fountain square. They allowed us to check out late and we're very friendly.

Beware of the valet. I stayed with my girlfriend on the 24th and valeted my car. The next day when it was returned the front right rim was curbed to hell. When I asked the valet they said it was like that when I parked it. I understand things happen, but to refuse to take responsibility and even not proved me with a mangers number pissed me off. I was already late getting up and had no time to deal with it. The hotel was nice and I would recommend staying just take a uber to the hotel.

I was only there for a wedding and did not get to see much of the hotel. The rooms were comfortable. The food was good. The bar was reasonably priced and strong drinks.

Large suite hotel rooms with good breakfast located in the middle of downtown. Close to The Bank entertainment area, ball park and football stadium. Would stay there again.

Absolutely one of the best hotels I have had the chance to enjoy! Clean, clean, clean! Rooms just as if not better than described. Continental breakfast was superb… and really… more of a full breakfast than what is usually considered to be "continental". Pleasant staff, wonderful room… and immaculate. 5 stars!

A weekend in Cincinnati. Who knew it could be so amazing! As a frequent traveler, I have experienced so many different types of hotels, but this hotel tops them all! Clean, comfortable, just what was described. Clean, pleasant staff, beautiful room, clean… an all around excellent place to stay. Looking forward to another stay, soon!

4 and1/2 stars. Very courteous staff. Immaculately clean room. King bed was comfortable, but the sofa bed was not. Our under 100 pound grandchild said the springs poked her everywhere after only two minutes. I had to unmake the bed, reassemble the couch cushions (six of them) and make up the linens on top of the sofa itself. She slept OK on it. Breakfast was good, but I wish Homewood had yogurt. Our grandchild has to follow a gluten free diet. I had to sneak over to Hampton to get a yogurt, almonds and mixed dried fruit for toppings. Also, why don't Homewoods provide the breakfast to go bags?

A+, the staff went above and beyond. Dana at the front desk was professional, courteous and a great multi tasked. The valley parking staff also went above and beyond. Everyone made us feel like we where at home. Great restaurant options within walking distance. Many stores and attractions are within walking too. The breakfast was good and hot. It was always stocked up and the super friendly kitchen staff were great. Arthur in the dining area was so friendly, helpful and always had a smile! The room was fantastic & spacious. For my husband, 2 younger daughters and I, we reserved the 2 queen bed room. This room had its own dining room to the fully stocked kitchen. Off of that was the living room with a big TV and pull out couch (comfy). You enter the bedroom And you have a desk, 2 VERY comfortable beds, night stand and big TV. There is a door that you can close separating the bedroom and living room. The bathroom is normal hotel size. The water pressure was perfect with different water flow options. The bathroom sink area is off of the bathroom. The lighting is perfect for doing make up and hair. Plenty of closet space And dresser space. Everything was perfect, very clean and organized. The hotel building is beautiful. My favorite thing has to be the elevator access. You can only go to the 1st floor out, 2nd floor lobby and whatever floor your staying on. You can only get the elevator to work with your key card. Love that safe feeling!

Awesome, amazing, A+! Great location, pristine condition, safe, friendly & helpful staff with elegant surroundings! Will definitely stay here again in the future. Only downside is parking which is common for the downtown location. If you're in & out frequently use the valet service. Love this hotel — don't hesitate to stay here. You won't be disappointed.
