I really enjoyed the room and the staff was very nice.

The hotel was very clean with wonderful employees. They were all very helpful and accommodating. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Consistent, quality service and done so with friendliness and compassion. Love the proximity to the University and the Clifton community nightlife, the vibrant entertainment choices of a large regional university at your door — not too far from restaurants, bars, theaters, hospitals, museums or even sporting venues, an ideal location for visitors who want to enjoy a bit of the local vibe.

First time we stayed here the room was clean. Second time there were toenail clippings all over the floor. Third time there was food and trash under the pull out sofa along food on the actual bed. The night staff were accommodating, very nice and apologized as well as moved our room but this shouldn’t be happening.

Exceptional customer service. The staff was amazing and very accommodating. We loved our stay and highly recommend this hotel!

Location was great. Just off of University of Cincinnati campus and a short drive from many activities. Our room was fairly spacious for a single bed; bathroom was great except we lacked shampoo and soap. Front desk attendants were helpful and very nice.

I stayed here while on a business trip. The rooms were Clean and modern including amenities like a mini fridge and microwave. The TV was a flat panel smart TV with access to streaming apps. The staff were helpful and friendly. The location is in the middle of a university area, there are lots of different restaurants and bars in walking distance.

Location, staff, and all services rendered were A+. Even the parking was very convenient to guest. I have no complaints, and definitely recommend the hotel if you are seeking great services. It’s worth your stay.

Hotel was in a nice location. Needed to request bathroom amenities because they were not available in the room. Nice guest services. Parking is an additional cost.

WARNING: BED BUGS We arrived on 4/18/18 and were given room 528. When we pulled back the covers to get into bed, we saw a large bed bug on the white sheets (photo below). We immediately left the room and told the front desk. They were very polite, kind, and professional. We told them we did not feel comfortable staying there, so we left. They did not charge us for the room. Even though the interaction was very professional, and staff handled the situation well, we felt like we had to leave a review so that other travelers would know, as bed bugs can cause a huge problem. Marriott, please respond when the situation is resolved. If the bed bug problem is resolved, I would have no qualms about staying with them again, as they were very professional and the hotel was otherwise very nice and in a good location.

Very clean and nice rooms. Good location in downtown Cincinnati. Only complaint is that there is nowhere to pull up and unload your luggage.

Great place to stay in Cincinnatti, very close to UC. Many restaraunys within walking distance.

Very modern and clean. Met business partners in the lounge for a couple hours, tables had charging ports and comfortable seating. Very pleasant.

The location was nice as there were a lot of food options near by as well as a Target adjacent to the hotel. I found the staff to be annoyingly indifferent towards the guests.

Would not recommend! Should have known At check in when they supply you with ear plugs that is was going to be a terrible stay! Very loud! Noise from the restaurants and bars kept us up all night even with the ear plugs! Breakfast buffet was not kept stocked or clean. Staff was not helpful or friendly in he kitchen. Parking is $10/day and front desk does not advertise this.

It was a pleasant stay. They had netflix and youtube on the television in my room.

We stay here when my child has appointments at Cincinnati Children’s. We love that there is so much within walking distance but I do think there needs to be better access from the parking garage upon check in. It’s fine after you check in because you have a key to get in the rear door but it sucks when you have children and are trying to check in.

Didn't rent a room, visited someone but all what I've seen was very well kept. Clean place and staff very professional. Only con is the parking, close to impossible to find free parking space. Parking garage is $8, ridiculous!

New hotel in a great location. U of Cincinnati and lots of restaurants withing walking distance, however… Housekeeping was subpar. Nice large spot of black mold growing in the corner of the tub. Impossible to miss as its jet black against an all white bathroom. There was a used tissue stuffed into the tissue receptacle. It was hidden pretty well, so that could be easy to miss. The bed was horrendous. The mattress was U-shaped. My wife and I kept rolling into each other. Breakfast was the worst I've ever had at a Fairfield. It seemed the bare minimum was available. As for hot dishes, the first morning, there was eggs, bacon, veggie sausage, and the egg and cheese omelette was just scrambled eggs with cheese. The second morning, there was only the "omelette" and veggie sausage. They had the gall to put the second warming dish out, but it was completely empty. There was no sweet bread available and only 2 types of cereal available. The breakfast attendant was friendly, but a bit too talkative for my liking. The front desk was friendly and professional. Because of this location and the newness of this hotel, there is a lot of potential, but so far it is not living up to its potential.

Very nice, newer facility in Uptown just south if UC's campus. It's on a main drag that has plenty of shops and resteraunts, so you have plenty of eating options during your stay that don't involve driving. You're not going to want to walk anyways — parking is pretty scarce, even in the evening. You do get in/out privileges in the "public" garage for $10, so not too terrible. I was easily able to find evening street parking during my week-long stay so I avoided having to pay an additional $50. One thing to note: there is a temporary loading zone but it's on a small 2 way street and you'll make people angry by using it. Best drop someone off with luggage and then go park — don't loiter like you normally would with a traditional hotel with awning. Breakfast is free and has a good selection and quality. Wi-Fi is also free and has decent speeds. Staff is hustling but still friendly. I would highly recommend this Fairfield to anyone visit Cincy!

Everything was fine with hotel. Parking/loading/unloading is poorly designed. Major chore to bring in luggage. Would not recommend for families.

The room, service and location are perfect.

This hotel has great rooms with great service. I enjoyed my stay here. The free breakfast was acceptable — not great but not necessarily bad; although, the Wi-Fi connection was horribly bad, but the cell reception was fine.

Stayed in a second floor room facing the street. The people and vehicle noise was so bad we didn't get to sleep until 3am. Nice hotel and room otherwise.

Overall review of the property is good and I would stay again when I visit Cincinnati again. The property is located on South Market Street very close to the University of Cincinnati. Parking is available in a parking deck behind the building; there is a $10 daily rate with unlimited entries and exits. Each time you enter the parking deck you receive a new card that must be validate by hotel staff. The hotel staff is courteous and professional. The property seem to be relatively new and updated. The furniture in the general area as well as the room was contemporary and chic. The property is maintained well. The complimentary breakfast was OK; I've had better. Overall the property is a strong good.

Stayed overnight Friday and Saturday nights. Rooms were comfortable and well maintained. Breakfast items, including bowls for still available milk and cereal, tended to run out by 9:30 and were not replaced.

The rooms were nice and up to date. Parking sucked but the room made up for it. The location was good and within walking distance from local bars. Will recommend.

Wonderful lobby. Comfortable room and bed. Complementary breakfast was delicious. Convenient location to multiple places to eat. Located right by a parking garage where the cost can easily be added to the credit card on file at the hotel for convenience.

Great stay, staff was kind. Kids and I are on a whirlwind, Pokemon tour of the midwest and it was well situated by the college with lots of food and easy access to a number of local activities. Great breakfast and clean rooms, only fuss is that all the pillows were super soft. I know I could have asked for pillows that were more firm, so it's a weak complaint. Overall a great one night stay.

The hotel was clean, looked nice on the inside and outside, and was in an upbeat area. The pool was small, but it was enjoyable. The breakfast was pretty good. Our room was large, comfortable, and clean. There was a nice living room area. The shower was really nice, with large glass sliding doors and no tub. We plan on staying here again when we go to Cincinnati.

Up to date hotel beautiful rooms n wonderful showers. Noisy on the weekends but we found a tip if u turn the constant fan on it drowns out some of the noise. The free breakfast was nice and everyone in the hotel was nice. Would highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

Room was fine. Don't stay here on a weekend night if you want to get any sleep. Loud cars, motorcycles, loud teens until 4am! Hotel management useless. Asked to be moved… no rooms available (bs). Will never stay here again… not worth the hassle!

Hotel is easy to find and convenient to the University. It is very clean. The room is comfortable with a large bathroom. Closet space is limited in the rooms. Parking has to be validated at the front desk each time you wish to leave.

Nice, new hotel right across the street from campus. Location is ideal if you have business on campus. Numerous restaurants and bars are within walking distance.

I've stayed at this hotel twice now, and continue to be impressed. The friendliness and helpfulness that everyone extends is truly noteworthy. If you decide to grab a drink at the bar, try to go when Mike is bartending — his old-fashioned is hands down the best I've ever had. The entire staff goes out of their way to make sure you're comfortable and have everything you need… while you'd hope this is protocol in hospitality, when you see a team executing this so well it truly stands out.

This hotel was nice. Within walking distance of several restaurants. The hotel staff was great, and the breakfast was decent as well. Considering staying here in July for the Macy's festival.

I've stayed there a bunch of times to visit my daughter at UC. Definitely the perfect place to stay. Clean. Nice staff. Close to everything!

I had a double queen room that was perfect. The service at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was surprisingly good and wide variety.

Hotel was clean and fairly modern. Room was nicely put together. Close to campus which is either a positive or negative based on your preference… I much prefer staying closer to downtown. Staff was really not that helpful overall, dismissive of questions and the front desk never responded to multiple calls made from our room. Overall a decent option but we won't stay here again, there are better hotels for the same money in the area.

It is 4:00 in the morning and parties are going on between many rooms on our floor with doors slamming and even spilling into the hallway! I called the front desk and was told that I had to "live with it" because the one guy they had on staff was not allowed to leave the desk and they have no security available to send up to check it out. I will NEVER stay at this location again! It is by the University and basically just a party hotel. I've never experienced such poor attitude from any other Marriot ever! If you are wanting to sleep I suggest you stay ANYWHERE other than there as it is just an extension of the campus and a "party" hotel!
