Probably the worst stay I've ever had at a Marriott. I booked a king room with a couch. After checking in and going up to my room, I noticed they gave us a handicapped double queen room. I went down to the front desk to address the issue, I was told "oh sorry, we're booked up this weekend. " My reservations were made 3 months in advance so I'm not sure how they chose us to move rooms and I don't know why they wouldn't have contacted us asking if that's okay. My fiance and I were celebrating a baby moon. They offer a pool, bistro, and gym as their amenities. On the site the pool was closed until next month, disappointing but understandable. Nothing was stated about the bar bistro, thinking it was open we asked where it was and was told that is not open either. 2/3 amenities were closed. Our room was right by the intersection so it was noisy. I went to take a bath since I'm 8 months pregnant and found out the bath tub seal didn't actually work. As soon as you turn off the water it would drain, so I had to continually fill up the water before just giving up on my bath. I tried contacting the front desk using the hotel room phone but that wasn't working. That weekend they had a lot of wedding guests who would come in from drinking being obnoxiously loud at 2-3 in the morning. I'm a light sleeper so I wasn't able to get any rest either nights because of this. Some drunk guest even vomited in the hotel hallway.

Charged for breakfast and there was no breakfast. No parking available at site so you have to pay to park at a garage across the street.
None of this is mentioned when you book your room.

Excellent experience for week long business trips.

I visited this hotel for an after wedding brunch held by the couple. I didn't stay as an overnight guest but the brunch was great.

The room was very nice and comfortable. The staff was great and so accommodating and quite understanding. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Across from some of the new retail/restaurant area of Rookwood. The location is great… just off the highway and very close to great food and shopping. The meeting area is very nice. Clean and easy to navigate. They have parking valet, which is great since the majority of parking is in a garage across the street.

I was here for an orientation and everyone was kind and attentive. The hotel was clean and all the staff was excellent with customer service. It made me think of planning an event there. I would recommend it to anybody.

Very nice newer hotel, close to lots of shops and restaurants. Staff was extremely friendly. Was able to Uber to Riverbend very easily for a concert.

Stayed here for a wedding. It's new and the rooms are updated. It's right around Rookwood Commons with a lot of shopping and restaurants. Highly recommend!

The staff is really friendly and very helpful. The rooms are large and very clean. I'd suggest avoiding rooms on the side of the highway, way to loud. Other than that, nice place to stay. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby too.

Awesome help from Vivian @ the front desk! I left a cooler there a month ago and called to see if I could pick up today. She cleaned it out (moldy food) rinsed and sanitized the cooler! She was as happy as could be to do this for me! She is worth her weight in GOLD!

A poor experience from the outset. We stayed at this hotel due to its proximity to our final destination. When first booking we realized this hotel was on the more expensive end, but didn't seem to have the amenities to justify the price. Compared to the Hyatt 10 minutes away we paid twice as much and got half as much. Upon first pulling up we were met with our first surprise: no self parking. Violators will be towed. You MUST use their valet service, which isn't free (and wasn't included in the booking). Check in was the next problem. They had a bizarre email and address on file that I had never heard of and told me my card had been declined even though we booked through our credit card rewards program. It took almost 15 minutes to check in for a single night. On our way to the room we passed several empty cardboard boxes in the hall. Upon reaching the room the TV didn't work, the clock was wrong, and the phone wasn't plugged in. The room lacked blackout shades but the bed faces the window and the lights on the building across the way were quite bright. The following morning the shower water felt a bit "slimy" for lack of a better adjective. As though there were lotion mixed in with the water. I tried calling the bistro to order breakfast at 8am but was met by an automated system telling me their hours were 6am to 9:30am and to call back at that time.

Rooms are nice and the beds are compfy. The breakfast options they have are limited to a small market type booth that does cost money. Parking is limited in the area as a whole (not just this hotel). There is limited free street parking. Otherwise you have to valet your car. It's only $8 and they will add it to your room's bill which makes that easy. The elevator doors open surprisingly quick.

Great hotel, the staff is very kind and helpful. The hotel I received was so spacious! 2 bathrooms, 1 king size bed and 1 pull out bed. 2 TVs. Great for hanging out if we had more people in the area!

Kinda expensive. The TV was sitting at a 90 degree angle from the bed. If you was in couch looking straight on was ok.
The couch would fold out to a bed. Mattress stained on that.

I was given mis-information by a sales person, then the GM refused to honor the request even though we do tons of business with Marriott year after year. Very disappointing.

Beautiful place to be. Friendly and helpful, staff. Newer building is beautiful. Right off the Norwood exit from I-71. Lots of shopping or dining. From wings or pizza to prize winning steaks. They have something for everyone.

Clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Located right next to a lot of great restaurants. The only downside is that some rooms were a little noisy at peak traffic times due to the proximity to the highway.

Great meeting rooms and attentive and friendly staff. There is also a Starbucks kiosk, which is quite handy. If possible I would stay at the Marriott Residence Inn across the parking lot and use the Courtyard for meetings and events.

The entrance was great, not confusing or hard to find, but for some reason they have valet parking only that you have to pay for per day. The staff was pretty nice but we ran into a problem after we checked out where I had left something and when we asked the front desk they said it hadn't been turned into lost and found. I'm not sure what happened to it but there aren't a lot of possible scenarios. Our room had a mini fridge but no microwave, there were nice options for room service but it was really only for the Capital Grill which was extremely over priced. They did offer breakfast but we always woke up too early to get any. No real complications but nothing too amazing. If I had to stay at hotel and the others were booked or overpriced, I'd stay here again.

Courteous staff, clean and tidy rooms, great location. Wholefoods, Kroger located at a walking distance. Courtyard Marriott had all the facilities which one looks for. The public gym and swimming pool were good recreational centres after a tiring day. We were entitled to the best suite for being elite Marriott members, although there was no complimentary breakfast.

Not worth $141 a night to stay there need steak house and bars. Hotel only worth $39.99 a night to stay there need hot tubes in every room. Need big bar and a steak house on site better room service.

We held an event here. Everyone that we worked with was fast, courteous, kind, and responsive. All of the food was amazing. The AV was easy and worked well. The microphone had no issues. The parking is free and there is easy access off of the interstate. Valet parking is a steal at $8. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Great place, clean rooms, and good service. Bit difficult to find the drive in though and didn't realize you had to drive into the plaza, so we had to circle around. Other then that, great hotel.

Nice, clean beautiful rooms. Customer service is great. Everyone was nice. Valet parking is offered 24 hours and that is Wonderful! Love staying there!

Front Desk negligence led to the room charge pending twice on my bank account — — once for the authorization and once for the actual charge — — in addition to the incidental hold, (which ironically was twice the amount that should have been held for incidentals, ) even though I asked about the hold and was told otherwise at check-in. Staff did not take ownership for the incident happening, offer an apology, nor attempt to right the situation. When I finally got to speak to the General Manager the following day, I was exhausted by the situation, so her apology and "thanks" for providing a learning experience for their front desk staff, was too little, too late.

The room was beautiful and very clean. The only negative was that the wallpaper was peeling a bit in my room but otherwise it was perfect. The hotel staff was very friendly and helped with a few questions. The parking is $8/night whether you self park or valet, so the valet is a no brainer! Close to tons of restaurants and shopping and right off I71. Very convenient location. Highly recommend this hotel!

Hotel is very nice with a cafe that can make most Starbucks drinks right in the lobby. There are also multiple restaurants within walking distance. This is my first choice hotel when traveling to Cincinnati.

It was conveniently located. We were able to walk to a choice of nice restaurants and coffee and wine bars. They offered secure parking in a garage. The room was nice and comfortable. It was very clean. There was a small coffee maker with coffee and tea an ice machine and soda machine right down the hall. It was quiet and the staff courteous. There was Starbucks coffee in the lobby and wine for sale if you wanted it. There is construction going on but since it was the weekend the job site was vacant and quiet. They do offer valet. We checked in and out using our smart phone. We like Marriot hotels and that's where we always stay. Was a nice experience.

It would have been nice to know upfront it costs you extra to park here wether you use their valet service or park in their garage either way it cost you an extra $8 which I wasn't thrilled about. Staff was nice and the lobby was clean. The room was a little odd I thought though. The full length mirrors by the bathrooms need to have better lighting. They are placed in the hall with no lights around them. There is no free breakfast so it costs you even more money to get something to eat before you head out. Otherwise the hotel was nice and clean and comfortable.

Rooms are new, clean, and filled with all the best amenities. We were surprised at how large the rooms were. Unfortunately no free breakfast and with kids that's a bigger deal than it sounds. Loved the staff though. They are the best. Especially the front desk guy Joe.

Conveniently located near Hyde Park and Oakley. Very nice Courtyard; you would think that you were at a full service Marriott. Rooms are very nice, the place is new and the staff is great. A+ Marriott property.

We loved the place and the people that work there. It is always a very nice time to spend there. Highly recommended to stop in and stay.

All the employees were very friendly and courteous. The bartender Gina went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

Very nice, clean rooms. Friendly staff. Indoor pool and fitness area. The bed was a little too firm for my taste. Parking options are valet or in a nearby parking garage both are $8. Once construction next door is complete I'm sure it will be an even better experience.

I cannot attest for the rooms, but I would have no doubt they are great. However the food is awesome. I have gone for lunch and they have a pasta bar where they cook your pasta of choice with the ingredients of choice right there. The rest of the buffet is tremendous. Very attentive.

Place is OK, Wifi is NOT high speed, have to pay extra for high speed and to unblock neflix.

Great hotel in the center of a numerous places to eat, shop, and see. The entrance was a little difficult to see (mostly due to construction, I think), but the hotel looked new (no outdated decor), had an HDTV (albeit small), the rooms were spacious, and even though we didn't use them, the hotel did have a gym and swimming pool. Parking was not free ($8 extra), but they had valet parking that was part of the parking fee and they had their own parking deck with plenty of spaces right beside the hotel.

We were impressed by the hotel for its sleek appearance. Large room. Staff and accomidations were wonderful… breakfast in the Bistro was filling and wonderful. In fact we were so full we didnt eat lunch. The bed was very comfortable. We were worried when we pulled in and saw. All the construction in the area but we did not hear it… We were on the 4th floor and we chuckled everytime we went up in the elevator because it chimed like a doorbell sounded like it was saying welcome home.

My stay was very nice. The staff at the front desk were very pleasent and inviting and accommodating. The rooms are clean and the showers have quick hot water and good water pressure. I wish the TVs were bigger. I like that the I would stay here again.

The facility, services, and customer service were fantastic. A very nice hotel. Staff was friendly and eager to serve, although they are still working on training. Area of town was also very nice with many shops and places to eat within walking distance.

Spent 7 weeks here. Bistro is overpriced and food is meh, no hot tub, some rooms have bunk views. Overall a fairly nice place though and the staff is incredible. I came back everytime because they learn your name and take great care of you. Oh, also fruit infused water in the lobby is perfect at the end of a long day. Ask for a room with the nice showers and no bathtub.

The venue was good. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Our party was unfortunately big and used up most of everything on the first floor so some areas were under stock, but I would hardly blame the staff for that.

Very unpleasant experience here. The rooms look like office cubicles and the hotel (and our room) backs up onto a major freeway. The front of the hotel was filled with a large building under construction. The shower in our room was awful and the door slammed shut on me constantly and the shower seat was hanging off the wall with a large sticker that said "THIS IS NOT A SEAT". We arrived early and were not allowed an early checkin, even though the hotel was empty. I had to change in the lobby bathroom. Very expensive with the charm of a Motel 6.

Right from the start of was a pleasant experience. Brian made us feel like VIPs, and Mine the valet was extremely helpful. My teenage son and his friend loved the hotel, pool, and amenities that the hotel had. I would definitely stay there again.

I was meeting a good friend there and stayed two nights. I have nothing bad to say about our stay. The room was clean and new, all the people we interacted with were super friendly and helpful, and it's very conveniently located. We had a wonderful time and I'd stay there again!

Pro: Clean room (when we got there) … I'm really trying to think of something else. Really everything else was mediocre. Now for the cons. First off, at no point did they warn us beforehand there was construction going on adjacent to the hotel. Normally this would not be an issue, but as out of state guests we had to circle the block 3 times before I decided to cut through the shopping center and luckily it was connected. After you get to the front door the first time it seems clear how to get in, but as out-of-state guests the construction seemed to closed off how our GPS wanted us to enter, and in no way was it obvious how to get in… but don't worry, there are no signs directing you to the Courtyard Marriott, but many telling us that a Residence Inn was being built, which was oh so helpful. In my group none of our rooms were cleaned even though we were gone for the entire next day. We notified the front desk, their response was that it was the end of her shift… So we asked if they can tell the next shift and they said sure. A few hours later we checked with the front desk again, saying how our rooms were still not cleaned and the lady at the desk responded with "Oh. " … We asked if the person before her shift informed her of this and she said yes, and then smiled at us. No "sorry", no "I'll get someone over there" … just a smile. Thanks for the smile though, that's just as good as clean towels. Lastly, late at night someone in our group injured themselves in the room.

Nice clean room. Need wasn't really my style, but did the job. Kinda pricey.

I was visiting for a family event and the hotel was more than accommodating and very friendly. Rooms were very clean and I felt so comfortable and safe. They made everything so convenient and easy. It was a quick trip but when I go back, I will be staying there again.

Stayed for one night. The room was very comfortable and a short distance from downtown Cincinnati. Staff was friendly and courteous. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great clean rooms, the glass shower feels premium and is actually very spacious. The king suite is just super comfy as well, especially the pillows.

Attended CDK's new hire event on January 11, 2016. The conference room the event was held in was very nice and up-to-date, and while I didn't stay in a room, I would probably recommend it to those coming in from out of town looking for a place to stay near Rookwood Commons.

Attended a professional event here recently. The staff of the hotel was great and managed the large crowd extremely well.

We stayed at the Marriott Mid-town Cincinnati. Beautiful, clean rooms at a convenient location just outside Cincinnati. Staff was friendly and helpful. Valet parking included with room was fast and courteous.

Updated facility, helpful staff. Workout room nothing to brag about but functional.

If you are planning to stay at this hotel for a wedding, I highly suggest looking elsewhere. Our wedding venue was 5 miles from the hotel and we THOUGHT this would be the perfect place. New hotel, a Marriot, surely we'd love it. We were wrong. Our "negotiated" price for a blocked of 25 rooms went up $10 per room. Granted we had to postpone our wedding 4 months prior, but were told by Moji Collins; who was 'in charge' of our room block, that they "Can't" honor our last agreement. She would not speak with us in person and would only respond through e-mail. My wife had gone to speak with her and she was handed off by Moji to someone else. The bride and groom room was not comped, even though all of Marriot's in the area comped the bride and groom room AND parents room. We were just told "No. " After speaking with someone higher up, we had our room comped to only get a bill later in our door for $439.00. We spoke to someone at front desk and they said "I don't know, contact the sales department". We asked for an early check-in at 1:00 (check in was at 3:00) and they acted like it was a huge hassle with their looks and bad attitudes. At 3:45 our guests rooms were still not ready. (Check-in at 3:00). Our wedding started at 5:00 and by the time some of our guests rooms were available, we had to postpone our wedding 15 minutes so our guest could arrive.
