Friendly concierge clean hotel and rooms.

The Sleepinn in Austintown refused us to extend our stay past Tuesday night. So If our house lead abatement doesn't pass inspection. They also said they refuse to clean our room because it's to dirty. The day Manager yelled at me on the phone saying it's not our job to remind you to clean or move your stuff around. They haven't cleaned our room or made our bed in 3 days, we asked for new sheets they just handed them to my wife. The hotel was aware before hand our son has autism, which is a documented handicap and is protected. Then to make it worse today they leave a bottle of bleech on our bathtub with a rag, Hinting to us to clean up ourselves. I went down very upset, said my son will drink this and die, you don't leave chemicals in reach of kids. The grant people said after Wednesday your on your own because the manager complained to them. The hotel is located at Sleep Inn 5555 interstate blvd. Austintown OH 44515. It's part of Choice Hotel Group.

Small room a little dark ugly green walls in bathroom, wasnt the room I booked.

The Sleep Inn is very nice. We have been here several times. The staff is very pleasant and goes out of there way for you. Breakfast is very nice as well. And a special shout out to the morning manager. Very very nice. It touched me that she remembered my family. Definitely will recommend to family and friends. **On a return trip when checking in my husband was told he had to put a deposit down because the previous visit my child must have had a "pee" accident. I can understand somewhat but it wasn't like the linens weren't getting washed. But the whole third floor stunk like weed as did the elevator. My husband told the gentleman working the desk and the response he got was I'll take a walk up and see if I can see where it's coming from. Myself, and two children have asthma so it wasn't a pleasant stay being up sick all evening because of the smell. I think next time I will rethink coming here!

Why on 90 degree days when they know someone is checking in would they leave the air off in room is poor service. The room will not cool off in time to sleep which was main reason for getting a hotel in the first place. It is like 90 in the room and this air unit not sure it even works. Not to mention the sheets have stains like perhaps were in a smoking room. Owners should be embarrassed and Choice shouldn’t include in the chains.

This is one if my favorite hotels to go to if needed. Clean place, the staff there are very nice and helpful if you need anything. I'll definitely be going back if needed.

We stayed here for a week because the price was right. I enjoyed having 2 rooms connected and able to smoke. Housekeepers were great especially Kathy. So friendly and willing to work around our sleep schedule. Breakfast wasn't great but I have seen worse. Some burn marks in the bedding and a minor toilet issue. However I would stay here again due to the price and friendly staff. Thanks for making a week long stay feel relaxing.

This was a nice hotel very inexpensive for a location. Had kind of a retro feel to it. It seemed as if they had started to update things but overall still had this very eclectic feel to it. Very good if you're just going to be in the area for a day or so probably spending most of your time outside the hotel. As far as a luxury style Hotel this is definitely not that.

It was amazing to sleep. The beds are so comfy. Everyone who works there was so polite. Where so happy you have smoking rooms.

The hotel had been recently remodeled. The room was bright and clean. The bed was comfortable as we're the pillows. The breakfast was ok but could use a few more items. The staff was friendly, overall it was a good experience.

I will have to update this review once we actually make it to the hotel but… we drive a dodge truck with a 40ft trailer and we can't park just anywhere. I pick our hotels based on truck parking availability. The website says they have truck parking. We called at 11:15PM on a Tuesday night, we were about 30 minutes out, to see where we needed to park. Some lots are hard to get around in with the big trailer and it's easier to ask for some direction before we get there. Well this rude woman at the front desk is the reason for this "early" review. We told her what we were in and asked for truck parking location. She said "maybe around back or ask permission at Perkins across the street. Are we done because I have a line at the desk" Rude woman, can't wait to meet you shortly. So many different ways that could've been handled. Too many hateful people in the world as it is and I get to pay for this kind of treatment? This will be my first and last stay there. Update: Debby, the front desk employee, has the personality of a rock. She was obviously annoyed that she had to come to the desk and check us in and was wearing slippers… Room was good. Beds are comfortable and room was clean. Breakfast was just a normal quick breakfast but fine. My husband went to check out and spoke to the gm that was working front desk. She apologized for Debby's behavior last night and said she would handle it. And truck parking is at the far side of the building in a dirt lot.

This property is a smoking and non-smoking property. Clean for having this option available, but be aware of those classic cigarette burns and smell that often goes along with them. Reasonable rates for the area, and pleasant inn keepers…

Overpriced for the horrid room, faded stained comforters and outlets that don’t work. Front desk person was wonderful, the place definitely needs some maintenance… again, especially for the price. Given the look of the comforters, I’ll just sit in the chair and not pull the covers back.

We had the King Suite with a two person whirlpool tub and it was definitely worth the extra $$. The room was very clean and well lit with plenty of space to spread out after a long drive. The front desk clerk was very pleasant and the lobby was clean. The only reason I am going with four stars instead of five is due to their being no channel guide for the TV; thus, leading to a guessing game of Russian roulette with what channel you were on. In short — very clean and comfortable. We will be staying again when we travel back in a few months.

The suite had a walk in shower and jacuzzi. Just took forever for the room to warm up. Didn't like the fact that the vanity and sink were in the main room instead of the bathroom.

It is right off the highway so it was convenient for me. The staff there was great. They were helpful when I needed help and I appreciated that. The lobby was great and pretty. I had no issues checking in and out. The room was alright. The curtains were dirty and stained. The bedspread had stains on it and it also had a few holes in it too. It had no mini fridge or microwave in the room. I really hated that part of it. The rest of the room was clean. The bathroom was clean and was good.

Bath room is a little small. Shower was good. Only had two double beds. No double queens. But plus side clean.

The location was great. All the staff was friendly and helpful. They seem to go out of their way to be nice. The night Chek in guy Ed was especially helpful as was the overnight lady. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast was well done if basic. The only downside was the building was older and dated. Bathrooms were extremely small but very clean and serviceable. Would stay there again.

Very clean friendly staff. The room was a suite very roomy the jacuzzi was extra nice for my man. I would Refer anyone to this hotel.

I don't understand other people's experience with this place, but they've been totally professional and accomodating.

Adorable recent remodeled rooms. Great pool area. Good continental breakfast. Very clean. Wonderful surprise for the price. Very friendly staff. Would definition recommend.

If I could give zero stars I would… March 11, 2016 my sister and I had 10 kids swimming in the pool for a birthday party. We ended up being rushed to the hospital for carbon monoxide poisoning. My two month old and 10 year old were rushed by ambulance. While in the hospital I called to ask about coming back the next day (as it was 4 in the morning when we got released) to get all of our belongings, the nasty nasty manager heather I want to say, I could be wrong on the name, said that if we didn't get our belongings when we were released that it won't be there in the morning and then she hung up on me.

Rooms were nice. Location decent. Had someone else stay there. No problem.

Kind of reminds me of an old 80's motel where you would bring a hooker into your smoking room and do a line off her butt. The room's door wouldn't open with the key without trying it 50 times and it wouldn't xlose without slmming your body into it. I would say it's ok for an over nighter.

It is located near just about anything you want and the hotel is in good shape and is clean. Rooms are nice.

This is a very reasonable place for an overnight stop. Gal working breakfast definitely does not like her job as she never smiled or spoke and seemed a bit disgusted when asked for assistance but other than breakfast, everything else was fine and we had a good night sleep.

Disappointing experience. I've stayed at the Sleep Inn at Austintown Ohio before as good experiences. However this time it doesn't go so well. On my Second day, I returned to a room that had not been serviced. The housekeeping staff was gone, so I got some clean towels. One of the nice things this hotel is they have a free hot breakfast. I was disappointed to find the biscuits for the biscuits and gravy were moldy. I really like Sleep Inn, but this one disappointed on this trip.

I stayed the evening in a third floor smoking room. The room was clean. The breakfast left a bit to be desired as a lot was empty when I got there and I had to go to the desk to let them know things needed filled. Other than that the stay was great!

We had a awesome time… We will return. Awesome.

It's a great place to stay.

On are last night of 3, checked in early Friday morning. Very very very good room, clean and comfortable including small fridge, flat screen, iron and coffee maker. Very good continental breakfast and very pet friendly. 3rd floor for smokers but the elevator was convenient. The pool was small but very welcomed. Staff were very cool and accommodating. Only minor cons maybe, no microwave in room and only a shower no tub (was ok by me) and the pool only open til 10 pm (like to see all pools open 24 hours. All in all a very good stay.

Located just off the Interstate but isolated. Run down and needs a deep cleaning and renovation. One desk clerk, friendly but more interested in updating his Facebook profile on the office computer than actually working. Same thing for the morning staff. Large breakfast nook but minimal supervision and resupply. We could not find any place nearby to buy everyday stuff but a friendly clerk at the Truck stop across the highway steered us to the actual town and stores about 2 miles away. Ok place if you have to layover somewhere.

Terrible! Noisy, doors slamming and plumbing noises all night. I left at 4:15 am, the clerk seemed annoyed to generate a receipt. I needed to print a permit for travel only to find out the hotel does not have a printer for the guest computer terminal. While completing my expense report I noticed I was charged three different times for a one night stay. I called the hotel to have them resolve the problem only to have the clerk talk over me constantly. I demanded the manager call me and resolve the issue, which she did call. The manager asked me questions that had already been stated or answered, and I asked her if she was even listening to me, she quickly stated that she wasn't going to continue if I was going to be rude. Having money being stole from me and complaining about it is rude, I guess. I stay at several Sleep Inns across the country and consider the Austintown, Ohio Sleep Inn to the worst.

Stayed for 7 weeks for new job training. Noise level is insane. No fridge/microwave. Barely any outlets. Housekeeping staff is loud/front desk unprofessional.
