I had to make Sonesta my home away from home while I was working as a COVID screener. I ended up getting COVID Pneumonia. I can say I have never met a better group of team mates as I have here! They all went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and also to make sure I didn't feel alone in my quarantine and recovery! After I get healthy and leave I will never stay at a different Hotel when returning back to Omaha for any reason at all! The manager and all the front desk I consider my family❤️✝️ God bless everyone and please stay safe.

There were TWO charges that were not supposed to happen was ran on my card. Charges Alan charged that day. I am turning this into Bank Of America as fraud. I paid for this stay 3 days prior in full through my AAA site. WHY is the facility charging me $100 on a transaction and $186.98 on another? My total stay was $208 I prepaid. I also want to make a report that someone was in our room AFTER it had been cleaned that evening when we were gone. We found a coffee cup and the trash can in the kitchen was moved. I believe it was Alan. He not only admitted to us that the charges were a mistake, but he also did not care a bit. Alan was very unprofessional and I am sending this to your corporate office as well. You need to release the funds and also we expect a follow up. I called twice yesterday and left a message for the manager Josh to call me back. NO CALL Back yet.

A girlfriend and I recently spent a couple of days at this hotel. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The loft bedroom afforded each one of us our own space. The living room and kitchen area provided us with everything we needed. The fireplace was a nice touch as we got caught up with a glass of
wine!

I couldn't ask for a better place to recover from my liver surgery they are the best people here and the rooms are nice and clean the bed is amazing the pillows are amazing I have a fireplace in my Room it just is awesome.

The rooms are clean and well maintained, but what really did it for me was the hospitality. Some of the friendliest people around. I would recommend Sonesta all day long!

Stayed at this hotel for my bachelorette party. Nice to have an outside pool and our loft style room was roomy. Breakfast was so bad you wanted to go and buy breakfast at another joint. My sisters van was stolen and this hotel was no help because there are NO cameras. The hotel was annoyed we wanted to call the cops and was NOT helpful in any way. We didn’t feel safe to stay there another night but had no choice because a partial
Refund or anything wasn’t an option. Anyway, think twice because the pictures online are loads better than in person and this must be a not so good part of town.

Quiet, FRIENDLY staff, great pool, great food, laundry services (which is a must for us) and it was so comfortable and spacious. Couldn't have picked a better place to stay!

An older complex but pretty clean. Staff is very nice. Especially Mary at the eve social hour. Beds are very comfortable.

Amazing is all that I can say. We stay here everytime we come to omaha. This time my son got the stomach flu. Came down at 1030 with spiled towels and an explanation. The clerk was courteous and gave me more towels and apologized to me that he got sick lol. My family and I love this place.

Our original room's air conditioning had a problem before we arrived, so they instead put us in 2 smaller, but very nice rooms. The pool was great, though understandably had no hot tub. Beds were some of the best, including the sofa bed (a nice change from our previous lodging). Only complaint is the parking area was a bit cramped, but it is a city after all.

Cute, comfy, nice friendly staff. The rooms are very well decorated. They offer breakfast everyday and dinner on certain days through out the week.

A unique motel, it looks as if they bought an old condo complex and renovated them into an extended stay hotel. The rooms are pretty nice. They are large and we'll furnished and layed out. The breakfast was probably the highlight, they change it up throughout the week, and it was all really good.

This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Great value, good, hot breakfast, comfy bed and lots of room in the suite. Grounds and pool are nice too. Will definitely stay here again.

The outdoor pool was the best part of the stay at this location. We rented the studio suite with a king bed, fireplace and full kitchen. The room was way over priced, I would have paid $80-90 to stay there not $120. Our room door was broken and didn’t shut all the way unless you slammed it & pulled it to make sure it closed. Came home twice to an open door due to the wind blowing it open. Very quiet location, which I love. Not a really bad experience, but not sure if I would come back.

I very much enjoyed this hotel. It's set up with separate towers and only 8 rooms on each Tower. It's very quiet and tucked away, but very accessible. I had to ask to be moved a few times because they kept putting me right next to the pool, I'm sure some would enjoy that, but I'm a very light sleeper in the pool opens early. The room was spotlessly clean, and it had a very upscale feel to it. The pool was very nice. I would definitely return.

Great place to stay. Better alternative to a regular hotel. Felt cozy and home like.

The Sonesta Omaha was my 2018 best discover. We rented a suite on two floors for a family of four persons and this price and quality ratio, you will not find a better option. I will be back.

The place is serene calm and have ideal location adjacent to the main dodge street. Staff is real friendly and cooperative. Betty's breakfast and greetings sets a fresh start for the day. The owner and GM are nice folks having genuine sense of hospitality. I stayed at sonesta for three weeks and developed sense of belonging far away from my home. Would highly recommend to folks who is visiting the home of university of Nebraska at Omaha.

This was my first time staying here yesterday 5.12.18 and it was a great experience! I went to Omaha with some family friends and they ended up getting a family suite. And I thought it was so cute! And very spacious! And they got it at such a great price! I’ve stayed in rooms before that was more than half the size of just the downstairs and they cost more! But there was even an upstairs and a kitchen! And I loved the decor! & they had plenty of extra supplies on hand! Plus there is free breakfast, a basketball court and a pool! (Pool wasn’t open yet because it’s too cold still) but I would consider staying here again! I’m sure the normal rooms are nice too! Also. I left my pillow and didn’t realize until I was almost home. But they are holding it for me until I get back up to town so that’s really nice! :)

Very inexpensice, great location, very helpful staff, clean rooms. Bring your own soap and shampoo. They have wall despensers for that stuff. It's tucked behind a strip mall so it can be hard to spot unless you see the marque in the sea of signs on Dodge.

Excellent in regards to location to Baxter Arena. Our room was clean, the service was great, and everyone was friendly.

Sonesta was a great place to stay for an extended time. The kitchen is clean and up to date and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The only complaint would be the pull out bed was full of crumbs.

We asked for the room to be DEEP cleaned before we arrived due to severe allergies. Upon arrival, we were told “we don’t remember pets ever being in that room, so you will be fine. Oh, and throw the decorative pillows in the closet, since they contain feathers. ” Upon entering our room, we found someone else’s DIRTY towels hanging on the back of the bathroom door and hair all over the bathroom. I’m not sure the room was cleaned, let alone deep cleaned! We were asked, “oh! Would you like us to come get those towels? ” I guess you get what you pay for, but it’s still incredibly frustrating.

This hotel is perfect if you're staying with several people. We've stayed twice and each time the rooms were really clean and they're fully stocked with all the kitchen supplies you would need.

Everyone here is very helpful and pleasant. My room was very nice bright and cheery. Very clean. My stay here is 4 weeks. Great breakfast and dinner 3 nights a week. Shuttle transportation. Walking distance to other restaurants and shopping. The suites are laid out very nice. Workout room and laundry facility. Pool was closed while I was here in Feb to cold. Kitchen has everything you need. Just bring your own food. I would stay here again. They will shuttle you to UNMC. They also have special rates if you are at UNMC.

The most comfortable beds ever! Front desk staff is also the most willing to be of assistance than anywhere else! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I didnt actually stay except on weekends. My significant other was there for 100 days post bone marrow transplant. Caregivers and nurses found it helpful for people transitioning to go home. Great breakfasts, friendly staff, and clean. If you just want to get away, great place to check out.

What considerate staff, excellent breakfast buffet and good coffee throughout the day. Super place to stay!

Our stay at Sonesta was almost perfect. The front desk employees were always smiling, offering us dinner and drinks even on our first night. The room was clean, comfy, just as picutred. The only issue we encountered was a man on our back porch at our sliding glass door at 7a. He was rattling around and woke us and our dog. When we opened the door he was walking away and my husband had to chase him down to find out he was an employee trying to fix a light?!

Expensive for no reason. $400 and the toilets don’t even work. When we called to have them fixed a woman showed up at our door to hand us a plunger. What kind of service is that? Do yourself a favor and find a better place to lodge your family. Won’t be back. And won’t recommend.

If you get room 624, don't use the upstairs shower. It has VERY little hot water pressure. The sink is fine. Makes no sense to me. Outside of that, great location, great price for what you get, and descent shopping and dining in the area.

The hotel is decorated nicely and the set up is very nice. My only complaint would be the carpet is so dirty that it turned my socks brown! Otherwise the rest of the room is very clean. The accommodations are great and they are in a very good location. Will be staying here again.

The was an amazing hotel. My family and I stayed in the 2 bedroom loft and I have to say this is the best hotel I've stayed in thus far. Very spacious, clean, good breakfast and the staff was nice. Housekeeping was great and even though the pool wasn't open, I'm sure we would of enjoyed it as well. I would love to stay here again on the next trip to NE! Highly recommended!

The penthouse suite was great and unexpected. We asked for a double and got the penthouse. Reasonably priced too. I would gladly stay there again.

My family and I are staying for the weekend to visit the Omaha zoo. We were a little nervous when we first arrived, because it didn't look that great on the outside. However, the rooms are spacious and pretty nice for the price. The room wasn't quite as clean as I'd like, but nothing major. I brought it to the managers attention and she discounted my room. Overall, for the price I think it is worth staying. The rooms are more like apartments which makes me a little nervous being open to the outside, but we haven't had any issues.

Rooms were nice. Enjoyed having a full kitchen and extra space. Felt like a mini community. Staff were all super friendly and helpful.

It was absolutely amazing! They upgraded us to a larger room free of charge and without us even asking them too! All of the employees were extremely helpful, the room was absolutely gorgeous, pool and grounds were clean. I highly recommend this place! We will definitely be back!

Just checked my mom in for 4 nights and her room is beautiful. Spacious full kitchen, quaint little living room area with fireplace, comfy bed and the property is gorgeous and well maintained. A nice oasis off of Dodge Street! I would recommend to any friend coming to town. Friendly staff as well!

I'll be here for four weeks and I'm looking forward to it. It's extremely comfortable, and I'm very impressed with everything. Full kitchen with stove, microwave, and full fridge w/freezer. I highly recommend this if you'll be needing a place for a while.

Excellent hotel! More like a group of condos than a hotel. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite that had a cool loft (which the kids loved), 2 bedrooms, a full kitchen, and 2 bathrooms. It was clean and decorated beautifully. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The outdoor pool was not huge but it was fun and well maintained. The breakfast was decent with some hot and cold foods, but the eating area is not very big. Overall, it was a great experience and we wished we were staying more than one night.

Walking into the room was very nice, they are a bit small. But the quality of them makes up for it. The shower and bathroom is very accessable and easy to use. With a full size fridge, it's like a mini apartment. Where I stayed I had a nice view of the pool. Speaking of which, is one of my favorite hotel/apartment pools. And it's never very busy, which makes it perfect to use 30 minutes after breakfast. The breakfast here is very good, and covers all the nutrition necessary. The housekeeping is also very helpful, and polite. It's no luxury hotel, but it sure is one of the closest things to it!

Very nice place to stay. The rooms were very nice looking and nicely arranged/furnished. The kitchenette was nicer than I expected. The front desk service was outstanding. Also, the location of the place was great; it's in close proximity to several restaurants, a Target, and other shopping. I could definitely see starting here for an extended period, if needed for work or similar. I would definitely consider staying here again if I come back to Omaha.

This place was nice, clean, and great location! We only stayed for one night while visiting the zoo and children's museum. I loved the fact that this felt more like a studio apartment, rather then a hotel room! It was nice to have a patio to walk out to, and the room was spacious, clean, and was fully equip with all necessities. The only reason I did not give a 5/5 was because when we visited the digital key pad to get into our room did not work and we had to go to the front desk to have someone let us into our room every time we left. So that was kind of a stinker, I was also kind of upset that they did not discount the room for that inconvenience. It really was inconvenience! This place is also in a great location and close to everything. Plenty of places to eat around this hotel and there is also a Target close by!

We had a newly remodeled room. It was beautiful and clean. It also has a full kitchen and a couch that turns into a comfortable second bed. They are also not unreasonablely priced. Super helpful girl at the front desk that was very friendly. 5 stars from me.

Everything was clean and comfortable in the rooms and I felt at home. Breakfast was sub-par at best though. Overall a hidden gem in the Omaha area.

Everything about it is great.

It's noisy, maintenance problems (such as AC) are routine, and the Wi-Fi is only slightly better than non-existent. This is not a hotel that you want to stay at if you have any other options…

Amazing accommodations, amazing facilities with very friendly and professional personnel! Residence Inn Omaha does not disappoint! I'm military and stayed here for three weeks, couldn't have picked a better hotel! It was so good that two other people from my class moved over to this hotel and they say they will never stay at a different brand hotel again. Hope to be able to come back here soon.

We are a military family and have stayed in MANY hotels around the world. This place is GREAT! The staff is amazing the rooms are very nice. They serve a great breakfast every morning and dinner M-W with wine and beer. The beds are very comfortable and the grounds are very nicely kept. We stayed here for over a month and it was great! We also have two dogs and they were welcomed.

I am in Omaha due to work related travel and have been at the Residence Inn Marriott for two weeks and I have nothing but good things to say about my stay here. The staff has always been willing to accommodate any reasonable requests I've come up with. The hotel is centrally located near shopping and restaurants, yet set back off the main roads away from traffic and noise. The breakfast and social hours are convenient and always enjoyable. They do a wonderful job keeping it stocked and fresh. I am very sensitive to cigarette smoke and have had absolutely no problems with the rooms stinking from it. I love that I have a fireplace in my room with a complimentary log, it makes for a cozy night. My children came up for the day to visit and loved having a basketball/tennis area to run around on and get some fresh air. I'd highly recommend this place, great experiences here.

This place is a joke. The people who were at the front desk were utterly useless and did not want to be helpful at all. The room reeked of smoke, which bothers me due to respiratory problems, even though I had asked for a smoke-free room. Hard to believe Marriott would be proud to have their name up with this place. On a rating of 1-5 I would give this place a zero. I had also requested two double beds, yet they gave me a queen bed and told me the pullout couch will be the other bed, well that's nice for two people who have back problems. Yet the front desk doesn't seem to have a care in the world. I will end up sleeping in my vehicle because the smoke is so bad in this room. So to top off my story at all costs avoid the Residence Inn at 6990 Dodge St in Omaha, Nebraska.

I travel frequently and I always stay at Residence Inns. Well, Omaha is now the exception. The interior of the rooms is nice but the exterior is horrible. It's the only hotel where I have run out of hot water. Even after speaking with management and getting the issue "fixed, " I kept running out of hot water. Something else these photos don't show is what a dumpy part of town the hotel is located in. The hotel is hidden off the main road and the roads leading back to it are more like Stalingrad than Omaha! If I'm ever there again, I'll opt for the Marriott Courtyard in the Old Market neighborhood.
