Great location, there are some nice shops and restaurants right outside of the hotel. We loved Hollywood Candy shop. The pool was nice and clean, a bit on the small side, but the kids had a great time. The rooms were a good size and were also clean. Everything was in good condition. The towels in the room could be replaced, they where showing there age. The breakfast was okay, but could be better. Over all a great hotel, and we would stay again.

Nice hotel with a good location. Has a small menu you can order food at 24/7 which is nice if you don't want to leave the hotel. I would stay again if in the area.

One of the best customer experiences of my life. The AC in my room went out and I called the front desk to ask to change rooms. Within SEVEN minutes Zack (front desk king) had me in a new room, $20 off my room, and comped parking. His amazing customer service was a highlight of my visit… I never take the time to leave reviews.

Great location for visiting the Omaha Zoo! Only a 5-10 minute drive down 13th Street from the Zoo to the hotel. Staff accommodated our early arrival and had the room ready, including a pack-and-play for our 1-year-old. Upon check-in, Tricia gave us coupons for a couple of local breweries that were nearby. Tricia suggested we go to Upstream, and we weren't let down! The room was a good size. I believe we had a King bed, and there was still another sofa and chair, so plenty of room to have the pack-and-play in the room and not feel crowded. The hotel was extremely quiet for sleep, although we did stay on a Monday night. In fact, there are "quiet time" signs posted for 10pm-8am. Breakfast was amazing. Lots of options. Scrambled eggs, waffles, hard boiled eggs, fruit, etc. Everything was fresh and clear that it had not been sitting on a burner or hot plate for a couple hours. Seemed to be very business-friendly as we were the only family at breakfast, the rest were business travelers. The only downside to this hotel is the location. Not the location itself, as it's close to a lot of good stuff (i. E. The aforementioned breweries), but there were several people in the surrounding blocks who appeared to be homeless. Fine for business travelers, but less-than-ideal for families. I chose not to downgrade my rating because this didn't affect our stay, but wanted to post in my review so others were aware.

Nice location, not too far from the small park with the slides. (the name escapes me at the moment). Breakfast was excellent. One morning must have been the NCAA tournament because there was a line for breakfast and nowhere to sit. Can't blame the hotel for that. Room was clean. Free shuttle to the zoo was convenient too, especially when we saw how full the parking lot was at the zoo. Solid choice for a hotel if your in the area.

Friendly staff. Comfy beds. Pretty rooms. Great view of Old Market. Only hotel we stay with at the Old Market.

We stayed here during the College World Series. Great place and location. The walk to TD Ameritrade for the games was a little further than I thought, but not bad. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance. Parking garage was great because it shares the same elevator to the guest rooms. Didn't try their free breakfast so no opinion on that. Only reason I wouldn't stay here again is if I found a hotel a little closer to the stadium.

Hyatt place always has nice spacious rooms in a clean, comfortable hotel. This one is in a great location within walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants and coffee shops. Breakfast here was a bit of a let down, with the hot food looking rather sad, and not much other selections.

Nice rooms, bathrooms — impressed with the showers water pressure. No microwave in the room is a bit of a let down. Bed could be more comfortable, but not horrible — have definitely slept in worse. The pool also could be bigger, especially when a lot of people/children are there (no room to do any actual swimming). Breakfast is decent.

The service was great and very helpful staff… terrific recommendations for burgers & coffee. Room was clean and well maintained. Love the Old Market charm of the city.

Very nice hotel in the middle of Omaha's Old Town district. It was within walking of many attractions like Bob the Bridge and Durham Museum. Lots of eateries and shops nearby. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices.

Don’t stay here if you want to sleep in. We stayed here on our way back because it was less expensive, but we hadn’t calculated the cost of parking in that equation. Rooms are really nice, but the cleaning staff was knocking on every door in the entire hallway at 8:30. Literally, every door. Then they proceeded to start playing music loudly, whistling loudly, banging around, and pretty much making as much noise as possible. This is a clear tactic to get everyone out of their rooms, and we didn’t appreciate it. Also room was so cold I had to turn the thermostat all the way to 78 and I was still staying under the comforter. I NEVER turn the thermostat that high (73 is usually my top end), but I was freezing. In fact, I actually caught a chill as a result. I think the thermostat might not be working correctly.

Very nice hotel. Front desk staff was a bit busy when we checked in. Parking is $10 a night, and it can accommodate taller vehicles or those with cartop carriers. We stayed on the 10th and top floor. Our room was a great size for families. It was nice and clean. The clock did not work, so I'm taking off a star for that. The pool is nice but has no natural light. Free breakfast was great, as all Hyatt breakfasts are. I would recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel. Nice rooms. Great location. Bar only has Pepsi mixers. Breakfast would have been great but no forks and ran out of eggs and drinks. No one seemed to be restocking. Lobby restrooms out of soap, paper towels, oh, and water at the sink. Having some hot water issues but the staff is good and we'll be back.

Very clean comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff. Seems to be in middle of eclectic shops, restaurants and bars. I'm definitely staying here again.

Amazing view of downtown, would have rated a full 5 star if it wasnt for the pool being full of rowdy kids! We were going to go at 7-8 was full of kids, not to mention it was so loud you could hear them from the elevator. So we decided to come back and check again around 10pm thinking the kids would be done for the day… nope… still full of kids running around the pool and screaming… was disappointed we were not able to enjoy the pool. PS: no hot-tub/spa.

The hotel was a really nice place, great location, and awesome staff. Their free shuttle service was great with the cold temps during our stay. They dropped us off and picked us back up all with a friendly driver. They also gave us a free milk for our daughter and a free thing of unsweetened tea from their little shop. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for a concert downtown. Very little time was spent at the hotel. When we were there everything was in order. There was a problem with the hotel's computer system, but the staff handled it very professionally, in short order. I would recommend.

Terrific location near old downtown ambiance and many great restaurant options. The shuttle is very convenient. Hotel accommodations are average.

Lovely rooms and accommodations. Stayed for three days and enjoyed our time here. Large and well-stocked breakfast area. We had problems with our room cards not working in parking garage the whole time we were there, but that didn’t spoil our experience.

Great view and beautiful room. Rich atmosphere and kind staff. Loved that the parking garage was connected to the hotel, advising the cold outdoors.

Our room had a great view of downtown Omaha. Our room hadn't been cleaned very well. The mini fridge was sticky and had stuff in it. The tile in the bathroom was slippery like it had been sprayed with soap and not cleaned. Breakfast had no one cleaning up after people so if you wanted a clean table you had to clean it before you sat down. Housekeeping ignored out do not disturb sign and knocked on the door at 9am wanting to clean. We were trying to sleep in. The elevator broke down and was out of service during check out. They did comp one night of our stay to make up for it. The TL:DR version is great location. Need more staff to take care of guests.

My family of 28 stayed here in 9 rooms for 4 nights. Wonderful breakfast, great staff. All needs met. And awesome location in the Old Market.

Pretty good. Clean, modern hotel in a great location near the Old Market area. Noise from the hallways though.

Cons: The parking is not free. The hotel is under staffed and could be cleaner. The bathroom in our room was freezing cold, as it had no heater vent. Pros: The location is great. Breakfast is included (and not bad). Cookies.

Great place to stay while downtown. Lots of shops, places to eat, and attractions. Everything within walking distance. Hyatt staff are terrific and helpful.

Excellent stay, reasonable price, friendly staff, comfortable room and we loved the free shuttle. And the location is close to all of the Omaha attractions. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Omaha.

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Two things that could be improved: Swimming pool was super chlorinated to the point it burned your eyes. Ventilation fan in the bathroom didn't work so the bathroom fogged over quickly. Neither issue was a deal breaker. We still had a nice stay.

Great place. Awesome location. The old market is an interesting place to hang out r especially during farmers market Staff were friendly and helpful. Good breakfast buffet. Always giving away soda pop, juice, Red Bull, cookies, cakes and chocolate bars at the front desk. Free shuttle was a very useful way for us to get to the zoo and the airport and even shopping. I would book here again. Try and book a higher floor if Street noise bothers you. It IS downtown.

The walls are paper thin. I heard my neighbor brush their teeth and every time they coughed like they were in the room. The plumbing sounded like an airborne, which is totally great when people take showers at 3 am. On the flip side the location was wonderful and walking to restaurants was awesome. The Hyatt staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Clean comfortable rooms and great staff. I was even provided with a fan which I cannot sleep without. Fantastic restaurants and quirky shops within walking distance made this the perfect location.

The place was pretty good, stayed in a large room, double bed. Breakfast was good, hotel was clean. Near to a lot of food and drink options, very good location. Elevators, though, were crowded. Overall, very good and would stay again.

Great location. The rooms were a good size and quiet. The mobile check in didn't work but they made up for it with a round of complimentary cocktails. Great customer service!

If you are visiting the Old Market, this hotel is the perfect place to stay. The property is very clean and well-kept, with up-to-date furnishings throughout. The guest rooms are stylish and relaxing, and everything works perfectly. The complimentary breakfast was tasty and well organized. The price was fair ($139 + $10 parking), considering the location and the quality of this property. My wife and I have stayed here twice, and will definitely return for another romantic getaway to the Old Market.

Enjoyed my stay here. Requested a room by the elevator and was put to sleep by he pleasant and soothing sounds of the ice machine all night. Few hbo. Watched Independence Day: Insurgence. Not as good as the first but a pretty great sequel. Jeff GoldBlum and Bill Pullman great actors.

Plenty of parking but had to pay. Everything in old market within walking distance. Wasn't overly priced. Air conditioning worked well. Could use new shower heads and vending machines. Fridge wasn't very cold. Rooms were clean. Great breakfast. Has a pool but never checked it out. Would stay again.

Hyatt place omaha/downtown-old market (Stay Aug 6th thru Aug 9th) During my recent stay in this hotel I was greeted with great customer service and the worst customer service of my life. The general staff during dayshift seemed accommodating and willing to work with any request you may have during your stay. However, it’s the complete opposite on night shift! The night shift clerk Tim, belittled me and two other gentlemen. I wont go into the full story, but the highlights were a lack of general care and concern for the safety of a drunk 25 year old woman. When the two gentlemen and I wanted to ensure the young woman had a safe ride home with a taxi or uber, Tim made it a point to say we didn’t know what we were talking about and that we needed to go to bed. He then stormed off and returned later to ask why were we still there. He at this point asked his “security guy” to take care of it because he was going on break… Needless to say neither had immediate concern for the drunk woman’s safety. I’m not sure what happened to the young lady after we went upstairs, but I believe she went to her car and drove drunk due to the lack of concern by the staff. There is an immediate need to ensure Tim is adequately trained to deal with this type of situation and that he not act in a hot head manner towards guest. We did speak with the hotel manager in the morning, but felt that she did not adequately take care of the situation and mistrusted us.

The hotel was very clean, bright, and check-in went quickly. There was a nice attached, covered parking garage with access to direct-to-floor elevators; the attendant even waived the $10 parking fee (without us asking; we checked in around 8:30pm). The elevators are secured to where you must use a key to access each floor. The breakfast area was nicely equipped, roomy, and there was plenty of food and drinks. The indoor pool was small and it echoed like crazy, but the kids enjoyed it. There was bathrooms conveniently next to pool and a small workout area as well. The location was perfect; we took a nice long stroll downtown with the kids in the morning. We found great slides in the park a couple blocks away.

This hotel was far, far below what I've dealt with at even a basic motel. Especially given how much these rooms cost. Dirty, overbooked, things breaking, pool out of order, subpar breakfast, extra for parking and unprofessional. I'll go into more detail below. The hotel room was dirty. The molding on the wall was coming off. There was mildew on the shower curtain. There was a stain going horizontally across the pull down window shade. They charged an extra $10/night for parking. The front desk staff were almost all unprofessional. The breakfast bar was worse than a two star hotel. Also, the pool was closed and a front desk employee was overheard asking another front desk employee "why is our pool always broken? " They also overbooked the king bed room. We managed to get ours, but it was a disability room. When we came downstairs on Friday, the front desk was explaining to a guest why their room wasn't available. The only positive was the shuttle. The drivers were knowledgeable and nice.

Really nice hotel. Rooms look good with good views. Doors to hallway are thin so you can hear alot of what is going on in the hallway. Pool is small and very plain. Breakfast is ok. Great location.

We stayed at the Hyatt in the old market district of Omaha and loved it. The rooms were spacious comfortable and had a great modern feel to them. Great breakfast each morning with warm eggs and bacon or sausage, waffles etc. It is within walking distance to many fun pubs and restaurants. They also have a parking garage for guests that is included in your stay.

Beautiful rooms, friendly staff, convenient breakfast comma the the cool and lack of hot tub left me wanting. There was an additional charge of $100 over what the online booking stated which still perplexes me but I'm looking into that.

Such a nice hotel. Judging by the comments below, they have improved their breakfast area. It was hot, ready, and excellent breakfast food. As good as a diner! Modern finishes and kind staff.

Checkin was delayed due to rooms being sold out previous night. Bed area in room did not get enough adequate cooling, so bed was super warm compared to rest of room. Doors not designed to close quietly, so all showers and room doors can be heard up and down hallway.

The service at the hotel and the rooms were excellent. Parking was very accessible, however it was an extra charge. My one main complaint is the guest breakfast was terrible. All the food that should have been hot were ice cold and all the biscuits and breads were hard.

Very nice rooms, great service, and the location is perfect for exploring Old town. I might also mention the breakfast here is delicious. Seattle's Best (Aka Starbucks) along with bacon egg (sometimes sausage egg) sandwiches, fresh fruit, cereals, and yogurt.

This is a beautiful hotel! The area it sits in is super close to the old market and very convenient to anywhere downtown. The views from the rooms are great! It is very relaxing to just sit in your room and watch the city at night. The higher the floor you are on the better your view! There is not a bad room in this place. The staff keeps it super clean and the management runs this place exceptionally well. You will not be disappointed in your stay here.
