Adorable retro hotel. Our room had an electric fireplace, sofa, and deco wall sconces. Peter, the owner/manager was very attentive, informative and funny. Cleaner than several of the "big name" hotels we have stayed in on our cross country trip.

Nice, good price, close to food and gas stations. Also right off the interstate.

Was clean, loved the mirrors and a jacuzzi in the room plus a fireplace! Very romantic.

The family running the front desk was not friendly or hospitable. I asked for help with the remote and they were irritated about it.

Do not stay here — we were treated rudely with no cooperation from the desk management regarding room rates on a travel coupon. Stated coupon was good on one room only — but that was not printed on the coupon — no leeway whatsoever on his part. Continental breakfast was a joke — 3 stale pastries — day old bread — cereal containers near empty and no decaf coffee. Same desk person on duty in the AM NOTE — My wife came home with 3 — 4 bed bug bites that itched and lasted for several days — also found a live june bug on the floor near the loveseat. Creepy. We chose this hotel based on a AAA rating on the the travel coupon we used for one of two rooms we booked. I will be contacting AAA with a copy of this review — to let them know of our disappointment with this hotel.

Rude management. Questioned every request from blanket and pillows. Not quite either, car alarms going off to, noisy people outside at 3:00am.

Had the fish basket 1st time there. No good. Service was great! Picked wrong menu item.

The owner is very nice and generous. This is our second stay coming thru this area. The rooms are basic, having what we needed, lots of space, clean, safe, and love the lower rooms to pack our car quickly. Thank you for another pleasant stay.

The room we had was very spacious, clean, well laid out and had a comfortable bed. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is the price was higher than I had expected. Other than that I feel that this is a great place to spend a night our a few.

Internet is slower than dial-up 20 years ago. Using my data now, even though I'm paying for Wifi. Bathroom door had a hole in it and only opens halfway because it hits the toilet. Phone had no cord to plug into wall. Pull out couch had old food in it when I pulled it out for my child to sleep on it. No extra bedding to cover the couch and sleep on it. Soap stinks so bad that my husband went out at 11pm to buy antibacterial soap for washing hands. Outlet covers coming off the wall. Security latch on the door is broken off. TV is nice. Sheets appear clean.

This is An amazing motel you feel well at home being well taken care of here! The prices are unbeatable and the hospitality is phenomenal and the rooms are very spacious and clean! Defiantly recommend everyone to staying here it won't disappoint!

Great hotel and staff. The room I stayed in was very clean.

The staff was not very honest at check-in on being able to split the transaction. Once we checked in, we found our room had no battery in the smoke detector. When we asked for a new one, he was very rude and took over 40 minutes to even come by with a battery. When we went to check out, he was very defensive and rude. Also, their webpage lists amenities such as a gym and pool — they have neither one. I would never book here again.

Jacuzzi had bugs, no internet, no cable at first, and was over charged I hate this place.

Wonderful place! Stayed there last night with my wife and my dog. Friendly staff, big, clean, quiet rooms, great shower. All the amenities were very nice including the big screen TV and the Cracker Barrel restaurant next door. I don't care for travelling. It takes a LOT to make me a happy camper when I'm on the road. They've got a lot. Can't praise them enough!

AC didn't work, phone didn't work, when these things were noted no discount was offered. We got in after a long day of driving, and kids passed out even through lack of AC so moving wasn't on a list of high priorities. Breakfast was sparse, ended up going elsewhere. Was punctuated with a person screaming at owner say "You treated us like dirt" and stating she was going to be coming back with sheriff on the morrow. More excitement than I want from my hotel stay.

Great room, service was only okay… Check-in took awhile even though I had a reservation. But, the room was fantastic — huge amount of space, very clean and tidy. Did I mention it was huge? It was pretty quiet, too. Problem: I tried to get to the breakfast in the lobby area about 15 minutes after it was supposed to have started, only to find the door locked. I had to page the manager, who had been sleeping, who then got the breakfast going for me. Overall, I would stay again. Note: there is a Cracker Barrel next door for better breakfast experiences.

I came from Illinois to visit a few family members in Nebraska I was still well over an hour away from my destination so I decided to spend the night at a hotel. I usually don't stay at local hotels but it was late and it looked acceptable. I rented my room for a good price considering the time and how busy they were and was planning on just a average room. I walked in the room and it was better then whatever I have seen in the past at franchise hotels. The beds were comfy, the bathrooms were cleaned to perfection, and the design of the room is elegant. I defiantly would recommend staying here.
