Only room available, the night we stayed, was a "smoking room" so the desk clerk took us non — smokers to the room before we checked in. During that brief time a few other "walk ins" we're also looking for rooms. We decided to take the room, rather than risk not finding a hotel for the evening. Went out for supper and left the fan running on high and the window open. Upon our return, room was not to "stinky from smoke" so decided to take a swim in the pool that never closes. Breakfast (included) in the $60 a night price, along with the very helpful desk clerk, made this stay a whole lot better then I originally thought it was going to be. Comfy bed, big screen TV with lots of channels didn't hurt either. Would stay here again, when I'm in town.

Nice size rooms. Nice shallow pool for the little kids. Beds could be better. Breakfast is lacking but it's free. It's worth the price.

Have stayed here three times over the past month. I will continue to stay here any time I am in Norfolk. Clean, safe, Great service, comfortable rooms, and the all the staff are amazing! Breakfast is good (as far as hotel breakfasts are concerned) and the 24 hour pool is awesome! This is a great hotel!

Depending on which way you come in, I feel the sign can easily missed to turn into the driveway, the hotel was fairly clean but run down somewhat, check in with quick and courteous the room keys were the newer NFC style chips which was kind of cool, I would choose this place again.

I was very impressed with the New Victorian Inn. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast quite tasty with a lot of variety, and the staff personable and very helpful. They called to tell me my husband had left his shaving kit and then mailed it to us, so we wouldn't have to turn around and come back for it. Oh, yes, the price was quite reasonable, too. I will definitely stay there again!

Excellent staff members… very good at catering to the needs of their guests… pool is open 24hrs which is frankly awesome! My son and I have truely enjoyed the staff and pool… rooms are excellent and very clean… this is the absolute best place to stay! Just book it! We are having a fantastic stay! Nice job all! Relatively clean, but smoking and nonsmoking rooms are across the hall from each other making all hallways smell of cigarettes. No night staff at desk. Anyone can walk in at night, very insecure. Had a replacement keycard made, rendering the others useless. Effort has been made to make this motel more clean, don't get me wrong. Price is more than Super 8 while the amenities are equivalent.

This is a place that works extremely hard providing great service, being clean and well kept…. And economically priced. This place is a great value and good security for safety… always stay there when coming to town for 15 years… they make you feel like family.

Very clean and super friendly staff. Free breakfast is really good. I stayed a few days through Christmas and was happy with service through the holiday. I kept a star because of the cigarette smoke and noise in the hallway until 1am. Talked with the front desk about it.

Good customer service, I came in, was checked in in less than 5 min, and they upgraded me for free to the continental suit, which I was very excited for. However, the room felt dirty, the bed was very uncomfortable and still had head imprints on the pillows, and the walls are THIN. You can hear everything your neighbors are doing/saying, as the building is very old. The shower head feels like needles in your back because of the shower head, and I felt like I had to fight it for hot water. Good for a 1 night stay when traveling, that’s about it. I payed $80 for an overnight in a regular room, but ended up in the suit which I still felt like wasn’t worth $80. Overpriced, not very clean, building is old, but good service.

The room was nice and clean. Very reasonable price. The service at the front desk was average. The breakfast was average as well. It included the usuals: toast, yogurt, etc.

Friendly and helpful employees. No elevator but was very happy. Recently re-modeled (to the extent they could) New owners. Even though breakfast stopped at 11 when we checked out at noon was still able to get breakfast limited but happy! Would stay again.

This hotel is a great option, centrally located and well kept. The rooms are renovated, new paint and furniture, besides the old bronzed appliances. New floors, good working AC, and very quiet rooms. The continental breakfast was stellar! The highlight of the stay.

Spent a single night here on a drive from Minnesota to Colorado and served it's purpose. Breakfast starts at 5am and Wi-Fi was good. Not sure how I acquired room 100, but it's one of the biggest in the hotel. Only negative aspect was the lighting in the room.

CLEAN! Very nice employees from management to house keeping. I'm here on an extended stay for work. Very accommodating. Nice breakfast. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. Great prices.

Best motel in my opinion. Have stayed here since they opened! Never disappointed. Staff awesome, rooms clean, lots of room for my dog to play.

Great front desk customer service. Affordable. Beds aren't loud and are comfortable. The basic rooms are not luxurious but you can tell they do their due diligence to make sure you are kept up to par. Would recommend to anyone looking for a decent affordable room. Solid hotel.

The rooms are nice, the hotel is just fine. Slight musky order but it's humid. Breakfast is a little skimpy but everything well worth the price we paid.

Highly Recommend! Cleanest, friendliest, most affordable and nicest hotel I've stayed in! The staff is friendly, the service is great, pool is 24 hours a day! This is the best hotel I've stayed in… and I travel a lot! Everything is available for you! Late yummy breakfasts! Laundry! Staff is so knowledgeable and friendly! Can't wait to come back!

My boyfriend and I stayed in the honeymoon suite, and absolutely loved the hot tub in our room. It was peaceful, and I probably got the best night of sleep I've had in a long time. We will definitely be returning next year for our anniversary. Thank you! ♡♡

We were there for one night only. The room was very clean and comfortable. The facilities had a lot to offer. Ample parking and the hotel is easy to get to. The only minor complaints that we had was that the breakfast was a little lacking in quality and that our bed wasn't quite as comfortable as we are used to. All in all, a fairly decent place to stay that's clean and well kept.

Location is good and the rooms were ok.

Nice and quiet. But ran into a issue when over 700.00 dollars worth of my personal items were removed from my room after room service visited. I was told that that they had accidentally been thrown away so I went dumpster diving pregnant. Found no traces of any of my items so had to file police report. Was charged full price for both nights and was told corporate deals with everything from here on out. Will update review once I hear from corporate. Update: all video footage was deleted before management contacted me unable to protect my rights by getting a lawyer. Stay far far away! Awful experience extremely POOR management in this hotel!

There was a smoky stench throughout the hotel. And the pool had part of a diaper floating in it. Holiday Inn Express is about same price and a MUCH better place to stay. Will not be back.

Stay there frequently with my job and service is excellent and front desk staff are always willing to help in anyway they can. Looking forward to going back.
