For the price… this hotel sucked. When you walked in the front doors you were smacked in the face with heat (and it was 85 degrees outside). Room was just as hot — ac ran for four hours before it cooled down. Beds hard, microwave didn't work, toilet overflowed, missed breakfast in the morning. If you are hard pressed for a room, it will do but if not… move on.

To say something positive, it's not super expensive and the room I was in the AC worked well enough (it is obscenely loud though). However the place needs a lot of work, the bathrooms specifically. The toilet leaked so much water onto the floor it was pooled up along the back wall and under the sink, this was on the second floor so I can only imagine the massive water stain on the ceiling in the room below. I was informed by the other guests (who were a part of my work crew) that half the rooms are unrentable due to serious problems with them, so maintenance seems to be a common issue here. The towels didn't smell fresh either (a simple fix, use some fabric softener! ), were of very cheap quality-super thin, and had small holes in them. The continental breakfast is a joke, coffee, juice, two types of cereal (Special K and Raisin Bran), yogurt, plain donuts, and a waffle maker. They are doing the least amount of effort possible and it shows. Not a fan of this place and wouldn't recommend anyone stay here.

After reading the bedbug reviews my wife and I ripped up the sheets and checked all the mattresses, didn't see any telltale signs so we decided to stay the night. The mattresses looked new. The whole hotel was very hot. Overall it was adequate. Any review giving it 5 stars is obviously fake.

Great place to stay in Ainsworth, NE! Stayed two nights, room was very clean when we arrived, cleaned again the next day. Breakfast was great. The service was perfect and staff very friendly, made sure we had everything we needed. Rates are very reasonable so if you need a room, reserve it early, you don't want to stay anywhere else! manager sam was very friendly.

Staff is very friendly they are helpful. I stayed there and hunting.

For the most part it is a nice place. The staff were friendly and pleasant. Rooms were cozy. However a lot of dust and the parking lot is full of holes. 2 are so big that it will destroy your vehicle.

Sam, has always provided me with a great stay at a great price. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend staying there.

Our stay there was a great beds are comfortable the rooms were clean people were friendly breakfast was good there was bisquit and gravy was good we where there for hunting we will be back next year the price was great.

The outside of the toilet had vertical streams of dried urine. The bath tub and shower surround had rings of dark-brown filth. The shower curtain was black with filth where people touch the curtain to open and close it. The flooring in the bathroom was dark brown with filth. As I left in the morning, I reported it to the manager and he blamed his cleaning crew. It seems to be a management attitude problem toward cleanliness. Go somewhere else, anywhere else.

Best spot to stop if on your way through Northern Nebraska. Right next door to a restaurant/bar and right off the highway.

Cockroaches and mediocre A/C. Good thing it was just for one night while in the road.

Quick check in, very late at night. Room was clean, though a little worn down. They knocked 3 times in the morning to see if I was still there, even though it was hours before checkout.

Incredibly nice people here. Clean rooms. I travel for a living and this is one of my favorite hotels to stay in. I will always keep coming back to this hotel.

Make aure the shower head is not tied on with a plastic bag before you get settled in. Not a lot of options or competition in this area and it shows.

This place is a dump. Avoid it if you can. If you are wanting a clean updated motel with a confortable mattress and pillows, this is NOT the place for you. We were too concerned about the lack of cleanliness to eat breakfast here. Should have saved money and slept in the truck.

The exterior is bland, old and uninviting and the driveway area had standing water due to a need for grading and filling the low spots. However, having said that, I was pleasantly surprised upon entering the lobby which was modern, spotless and inviting. Having had a reservation which I had made by phone with the General Manager, the check-in was efficiently handled. The room was clean though showing its age. The A/C fan was overly loud even on the "Low" setting. There were no drinking glasses but there were two cardboard coffee cups which we used in the bathroom and for taking meds, etc. The coffee maker which made one cup at a time worked perfectly. The TV was large and relatively new but the settings made for a picture with too much contrast, color and the tint was off. When attempting to adjust the set were informed by an on screen menu stating one needed a password to do so. The Cable TV offerings were numerous and one could easily find their favorite show. The bathroom, as in most older houses showed several areas of mold in the tile floor grout, etc. And though the shower/tub was apparently nearly new, the "Ring around the tub" had not been scrubbed and was still evident. The first morning breakfast was acceptable but on the second, when attempting to get a cup of coffee and a roll prior to leaving, we found that the breakfast area was not open and there was no food, no coffee, NOTHING! and this was at 6:40AM, 40 minutes after the posted breakfast time.

It is your straight forward super 8 friendly staff always willing take care of your needs.

April 18 — 20, 2014 Check-in was very quick and courteous. The room was clean, comfortable, with a microwave, mini-refrigerator and coffee maker in the room. Beds and bathroom were excellent. Hallways and common areas in the motel were clean and well maintained. Super 8 Breakfast bar was available 6:30 to 10:30 with a variety of choices. Parking was adequate with easy access to motel entrances. Motel staff was quick to respond when help was requested on several occasions and showed concern for the comfort and well-being of their guests. Enjoyed the stay at Super 8 Ainsworth and will stay there again next visit.

Coffee pot not working. The loudest air conditioner I have ever heard! Can't watch TV because it is so loud. Staff acts like you are stupid when you call and ask fir something. Only one light works in room : — (
