The customer service at this hotel was amazing. We will definitely stay here on our next visit.

I was working at the hotel as a secret shopper. The 49ers were there for their preseason game. I was stopped by the team's security, asked to prove who I was, when I did, they didn't believe me, and they wouldn't let me leave. I asked for a manager to come and let them know that I was supposed to be there, but instead the manager told me he didn't care who I was, and that I needed to leave. He threatened me, and hit my phone out of my hand, this happened 8/17, I've made several calls and sent multiple emails and I have heard nothing.

Staff is not helpful at all. They won’t go the extra mile for anything. Cold pool. No hot tub. Nothing special about rooms at all and absolutely absurdly overpriced. Would definitely recommend going to another property. There are plenty nearby.

Everything was extremely clean, staff was superb the entire stay, and I was so impressed they even have us baby toiletries in the crib we requested in our room. The restaurant staff was amazing and gave my children apple slices and cheese to snack on while waiting for food. Pool and pool towels were excellent. Definitely will stay here again! Only tiny downside is no hot tub 😬!

We checked in on Friday, Immediately there was an issue. After waiting 20 minutes we were told the room wasn’t ready and to wait in the bar and have a free drink, After 45 minutes they told us our room was ready, 30 minutes goes by, and we are told by “Beto” that he “screwed up” they did not have a suite for us. For our inconvenience he would offer us a rate of 285.00 per night for the rest of our stay. I also asked him for Friday being free due to the issue. Which he agreed. Our room was to be ready by noon on Saturday. Beto assured me he would take care of it and not to worry. On Saturday afternoon I called at 1pm and was told the room would be ready in 30 minutes. We waited until 5pm, wasting our entire afternoon. On Sunday I spoke to “Brady” a worker at the front desk and asked about our rate, I was told Beto took care of it. On Monday afternoon we were locked out of our room and had to have security let us in. We were told our reservation was again cancelled and they had to rebook us. On Tuesday when we checked out, we were told the bill was for the full rate of 425.00 and nothing was adjusted. I was told again Beto would have to adjust it personally. On Wednesday I received a phone call from Beto telling me he was not adjusting the bill, and that he never said that the rate would be 285.00 that I was mistaken. He lied straight to me on the phone after assuring me he would take care of it. Beto refused to do anything but waive the Friday evening rate.

Wonderful staff and amazing restaurant. Us Floridians enjoyed our stay!

Had our first hotel stay during COVID and this JW was awesome! Very clean and kind/helpful staff. Got an upgrade to a beautiful king suite on a high floor. Love to airplane watch but cloudy weather and decreased traffic limited that. Would be a great place for that though! Restaurant in the hotel was amazing with great social distancing! Best salmon all year!

The hotel itself is really nice. But if I’m spending over $200 a night to stay here I expect better service than I received. The heat in the room kept turning on and off during the night. The room stated it was 74 degrees but we were freezing the entire night. And there appeared to be a loud noise coming from the refrigerator all night. Needless to say we barely got any sleep in our $200 room. Also, all the amenities are closed and still paying $200 a night? Overall I am dissatisfied.

Nice clean rooms like that the remote was cleaned and wrapped in plastic!

Stayed at the towneplace suites less than half a mile away for half the price and the staff there were much friendlier my member status wasn't even acknowledged here, the only upside to this hotel is that you can walk right into mall of america but I wouldn't stay here again.

Lovely venue for conference and weekend getaway, dinner at the Cedar and Stone Restaurant is delightful, had pork belly appetizer, gourmet cheese board platter and salad was just delightful,

I love this place. Staff treats you like a priority and make sure you're comfortable and have all you need. I love it.

I’ve stayed three times. It’s ok. It’s quiet, rooms tasteful. The food in room service is consistently poor. This last time we ordered for two. One person cutlery was provided. Called for another, never came. Soup cold, pizza undercooked etc. Yuck. I’ll be staying at the intercontinental connected to the airport for now on.

I cannot say enough how much I’ve enjoyed this particular Marriott! From the first moment we pulled up, the staff was going above and beyond. I was solo parent with two well behaved girls for a three day shop and play trip. The staff was helpful and friendly, hearing Barbie tales, trimming tags, bringing extra towels, serving amazing food, recommending the best spots… the management of the JW Marriott; as well as the management, kitchen staff, wait staff at Cedar and Stone have everything to be proud of. This was the best hotel experience of our lives. We have forever memories and they are all very good. The people make all of the difference, but a great fire, pool, food, and environment sure help.

Where to start! The staff were polite, helpful, and accommodating. The room was clean, and OMG! the beds were soft and those pillows… had an excellent night sleep. The hotel bar was fun, Gabrial the bartender was funny, knows his drinks. Zach Pizza was kind to stop over our table and get to know us, the dark chocolate creme brulee was so tasty! The restaurant Cedar + Stone has so many tasty options… room service has an excellent menu and available 24hours! … JW Marriott made us feel welcomed in their home. Will be back! I would like to see the handicapped rooms, there were some things I seen that me having a disability would like to see improved.

Great staff! Clean, spacious rooms. Great location! Best of all, friendly smiles from check in, to check out. The service is 5-STAR. The executive lounge staff is always welcoming and at your service. The gym and pool are nice. I’m here approximately 1-2 times a month and each time I’m impressed. … I could go on and on! Can’t wait to return.

We stayed 2 nights at the JW Marriott and were very impressed. The room was clean, the beds very comfortable and even the pillows were nice! The decor thruout was very tasteful and updated. Their breakfast had lots of variety and choices. They kept the dining area clean and the food well stocked and the gentleman who worked it was so kind and a real delight. They have fruit infused water and coffee always available in the lobby which was wonderful and the restaurant that was connected to it had really good food and awesome popcorn that they would bag and give you for free for the asking! We did have an unexpected fire alarm go off at midnight that was a bit unsettling, but it did get resolved after 5 minutes or so. Over all I would definitely seek out a JW Marriott again.

I stay here every 6 weeks. From arrival, stay and checkout… everything is perfect. I value the staff, very much. The rooms are super well maintained and clean. You can enjoy the location and get a good night's rest. Special thank you to Mark, John and Kevin. They get you checked in quickly and treat you like royalty.

Attended work event in the ballroom space. This is not a review of the hotel as an overnight guest. I was pretty impressed. The ballroom was really nicely laid out with plenty of legroom in the audience and a really nice stage with multiple screens to view the action. The pre event appetizers were exceptional for hotel food. The staff were also really nice.

Everything you would expect at a JW Marriott. I was here for work and the entire staff was amazing. I got upgraded to a beautiful suite. From sales to front desk to banquets… 5 stars all around. You're attached to the mall so that's fun… or dangerous. Ha!

It's was ok. Convenient that it is attached to the mall. But: only 2 ice machines for the whole hotel located in the fitness center, the elevators broke down during our stay (they did offer compensation), there was no airport shuttle which was super inconvenient. The concierge Mark was absolutely the best most professional person we encountered during our stay.

Beautiful place with delicious food. We were a group of 9 and they treated everyone as if they were the only person there. The menu choices suited everyone and we were also given excellent suggestions from local cuisine, vegan options and most decadent. I would highly recommend and will be going again next time I'm in town.

I drove 6+ hours with 3 kids to get to Marriott at the “guaranteed” check in time of 3:00 pm as advertised on their website and at the front desk. Have been waiting over an hour and twenty minutes and they don’t even offer to try and make it right somehow… just apology after apology with little sincerity. Still waiting to check in. Oh, and If you have a suit and dress they seem to help you faster too. Been a Marriott rewards member in Wisconsin for a long time but just very disappointed by my experience at this one so far. Looks fantastic but the service doesn’t match the looks. Sorry.

I attended a work event in one of the ballrooms. Before dinner there were servers walking around with hors d'oeuvres and they were very polite and helpful. The food served during the event was delicious and again the wait staff was very courteous and quick to get dirty plates and silverware off the tables. The room was nicely decorated with beautiful, sparkling light fixtures. It felt very upscale — even the bathrooms!

Absolutely beautiful building! Immaculate and very comfortable suites with great beds and the perfect bathroom. The amazing staff helped with every request, all with kindness and style. This has been the best hotel stay I have ever had, thank you all. You have my deep, sincere gratitude.

Very high end hotel in the Marriott chain. Their checking process was astounding. The amount of care shown by the front desk person impressed me. Their meeting rooms are big and their catering service was incredible. This hotel is located right there in the biggest mall in the United states. Great location.

JW Marriott is a fantastic place to meet up with friends or stay a few nights to explore the area. Its connected to the mall of America and a very new location with amazing art and stunning designs.

Nice place to stay. Had a short business conference and all went very smoothly. Food was good and the staff was very accommodating. Nice to be right at the mall too!

Our first stay here as it was still being built when we moved to Florida. Hotel is modern, staff helpful and friendly, access to mall of America can’t be beat, room service food was delicious, rooms were clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. I had two complaints though. Sorry. First is that there are not vending and ice machines on every floor. We had to go to second floor from fourth to get ice. Second is that the teeny cheap coffee makers in the rooms are beneath the hotels standards. They do not make a good cup of coffee. I truly expected single serve keurig coffee makers in the rooms. There is nothing like staying in a beautiful hotel and making a great cup of coffee from your room each morning. All in all, we would definitely stay again when we visit the great city of Minneapolis. In comparison to the radisson Blu hotel which we have also stayed at in the past, we liked the Marriott better because the food is much better. Other than that, they are both quality hotels.

Great hotel with really nice customer service. Rooms were really nice, I loved the separate shower and tub and the bathroom had great lighting. The light in the closet turned on when you opened the door which was great. Night was fairly quiet for sleeping but taking a nap in the afternoon it was a bit loud. Liked that the room floors were card key access. Tvs were large and I was able to use my netflix account. Parking was convenient but a bit expensive when you had to go in and out for the weekend.

We stayed 3 nights at the JW Marriott at Mall of America. Beautiful hotel and our room was immaculate. The only difficulty we had was that housekeeping had not been informed that due to allergies, feather pillows and duvets were to have been removed and that could have had some dire health consequences for me. We contacted Guest Services and they immediately sent housekeeping to redo the room completely; I appreciated their thoroughness and that we were given complimentary drinks in the restaurant while waiting for the room. Lovely pool and exercise room with free bottled water provided. Food was great! Staff were very pleasant and eager to please.

What can I say, this is a top notch hotel and the staffing details to my experience made it all worth it. From the curbside to the room service, the staff made me feel welcomed and special. I hope to come back soon. A home of luxury stay!

I attended the Women of Hope event for TreeHouse. The event for 1, 000 people was incredible. The food was tasty and professional, the decorations were fantastic, and all of the tech/AV were perfect. I loved the experience and would highly recommend this place for your event! I'll be back next year!

While staying at the JW this weekend we experienced the most impressive display of class and hospitality we have ever seen. From the moment we checked in, to dinner at Cedar + Stone (shout out to Alex our server), the chilled champagne and chocolate covered strawberries in the room with a handwritten note from the Concierge, to check-out. Every interaction with staff was top-notch. I highly recommend the JW at the MOA and dining at Cedar + Stone. We will be back. Thank you for making our stay for my birthday weekend so very special and memorable.

Nice room, but I'd expect Wi-Fi to be free for a hotel in this category. The baths are excellent and relaxing, parking is easy and shopping access is great. I did not get a great night's sleep, however the bed was comfortable and clean. Staff are attentive and friendly.

I was at the hotel for a family event in one of the meeting rooms. Dinner was catered. The food was good and the service amazing. We went swimming at the pool and the water was cold and no hot tub.

Rooms are very nicely decorated. Large bathroom with two person shower and a nice size soaker tub with good lighting. Friendly service and good room service. Nice comfortable bed with plenty of pillows. Only real issue/challenge is the lack of a suitable number of elevators given the number of floors and rooms.

This hotel is simply the best! Weather you’re traveling for business or fun, this is THE place to stay. The attentive staff, stunning modern decor, thoughtful attention to detail throughout the hotel, and delicious locally-sourced food at Cedar + Stone Urban Table top the list.

This place is super nice! Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful! Rooms are clean and very comfortable. Beds and bedding is excellent. Bathroom is nice with a big bathtub and a separate shower. Kids enjoyed the pool. Downside is there is no hot tub. We ordered cookies and milk from room service and that was Terrible. We got 3 cookies and 1 glass of milk for $20, the cookies were terrible. The best part is it’s connected to the Mall of America. Literally only took us 2 minutes to get to the mall! I will stay here every time I visit but won’t be ordering from room service.

We stayed here for a bachelorette party. The location is great, easily accessible from most of the metro area. The room was beautiful. And the service was amazing. Every staff member we had contact with was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Best Hotel Service and staff I have ever experienced. I have stayed at a lot of luxury hotels but must say here it's the small things that separates this hotel from others. Friendly staff. I slept in late. They cleaned my room late plus kept a full ice bucket for me knowing I like to mix cocktails. I didn't request it. The staff picked up on my wants and delivered without me asking. I will stay here again and also recommend to friends. Great job JW Marriott. You have a customer for life!

A lovely new hotel at the Mall of America with excellent service throughout. Club lounge is nice with good beverage options and a nice selection of small bites and desserts. Rooms are nice and new with a fridge and coffee maker. Comfortable beds. Strangely noisy elevators. Lounge could have after hour access via key, but is closed weekends.

Slow service. Especially the reception. Other than that people are generally nice. The restaurant is decent with helpful and friendly bar and staff. Elevators are slow and often crowded in the morning especially. Rooms are updated and nice.

This hotel was really nice! This is the third JW I've stayed in and it wasn't a disappointment. The check in experience was great and the room was very modern and clean. The hotel is actually connected to Mall of America which is really cool. You can hit the mall them head to the room for bathroom breaks or to just relax. The pool was really nice, the kids had a great time. The gym is well equipped and clean. Overall it was a great experience. I would definitely recommend staying in this hotel especially if you are visiting the area to shop in Mall of America.

The hotel is newer and is attached to the mall. The room was clean and spacious. The staff we encountered were courteous, friendly even. Check-in was relatively quick and painless. While we were admittedly a little early (2:45, with check-in at 3 pm), our room still wasn't ready, however the staff agreed to call me when it was, and I was called promptly at 3 pm.

Great staff with a great club lounge (if you have access). Gym is solid with good equipment. Bed is of course super comfortable. Bathroom is very modern and functional. Overall great stay.

Beautiful hotel! But the best part is the friendly and very courteous staff. Pretty impressive to be so well taken care of especially when the hotel is so busy. Modern nice atmosphere very close to airport and actually attached to the Mall of America. Very quiet, well appointed, rooms. Room service is excellent and the valet even remembered my name. Kind of amazing. The hotel is central to the Twin Cities area and is a short drive to anywhere we have had a need to go from downtown to way East. Very clean rooms, and clean nice bathrooms. Wi-Fi is free. Parking is fairly cheap. No hesitation in recommending a stay here!

This was definitely a great experience. The mall is accessible through the second floor and the staff was very accommodating and nice. I stayed for a few days and used the concierge lounge. They kept me stocked up with towels and all kinds of soaps, so much they wouldn't have even noticed me take a few. Only one problem with my stay was the shower didn't drain at all, but after I told them at the desk they had it fixed within 30 mins, hows that for Rooter-man fast? JW is always a great experience and this was no exception.

This is a beautiful hotel but also really expensive. Beds are comfortable but a bit harder than I'm used to so it was an adjustment for me. I loved the fact that there was a deep soaking tub in every room as that's rare to find in a hotel. Very secure with key cards needed to access the elevator and the hotel from the Mall of America side after hours. I went here with my husband for our anniversary and they gave us an upgrade on our room when I mentioned it during check-in. While we were out to dinner that night, they even dropped off a few treats for us to enjoy. That was a gesture above and beyond what I could have expected. We had a great few days here and will definitely come back some day.

The JW Marriott is incredibly nice. The rooms are huge, and the bathroom was amazing. It had a separate bathtub and shower and both were incredibly nice. The hotel staff were incredibly polite and nice. We didn't have a single problem. I'm definitely coming back.

Convenient entrance and check-in. The rooms are large and provide a great view while completely blocking any airport noise. The bathroom is spacious with separate, huge tub and shower. Service was great. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a family's dream spot. Service is great, rooms are spectacular and the location is almost too awesome to describe. My wife and I can relax in the room or lounge while the kids use their day passes at the indoor amusement park. Swim at the pool between park sessions… just perfect.

Stayed for MOA shopping trip. Very convenient access to mall with direct door. They charge separately for Wi-Fi. Rooms are opulent, esp the roomy bathroom with separate shower and baths.

Everything about this hotel is great. From the parking to the location of the hotel. The staff was the friendliest ive ever met and they make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms are spacious. The pool is a good place to go after a day of shopping. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to get their money's worth.

Lovely brand new facility (opened in 2015). Quite spacious rooms with power on both sides of the bed. Great gym and very cold pool. The orientation is a little weird. The Valet location is hidden and the signage is lacking. Getting to and from. MoA is difficult, you either go through the restaurant on the ground floor or exit on the second floor. Odd design choices but it does keep it quieter. The executive lounge (concierge lounge) is not open on the weekends at night.

Great service, nice clean new rooms. Parking is confusing and expensive though, as is Wi-Fi. The valet parking does have 6 different doors that they will meet you at, which is nice.

I stayed here overnight this past weekend. When we arrived at 3pm, which is check-in time, our room wasn't ready. When we asked how long it would be, we were told up to an hour and a half. We didn't get in to the room until after 430pm. The website says nothing about the possibility of not checking in on time. I paid a good chunk of money for the room being that it was my birthday weekend and I expected it to go a lot smoother. The hotel is beautiful and the staff were kind, but they only offered rewards points for the room not being ready. I feel like that was a little cheap. Not sure if I would return or recommend it to others if they're on a schedule.

Visited the hotel for a meeting recently. Google directed me to a parking lot across the street. I went in an entrance that led to a locked side door for the hotel inside the mall. Other than that confusion, the amenities were nice the space was great for our needs.

I would rate this as one of the best experiences staying at any hotel. The service was outstanding, the common space and rooms were beautifully decorated. Rooms are spacious, modern, very clean. We didn't even have to look for an ice machine as they bring it right to your room with a phone call. The only thing I would watch out for is the on-site parking… $15 per day, which is not bad, but we were there 26 hours and got clipped $30, two days. Other than that a great valentine/birthday weekend!

Disappointing on many levels. Got the stay dates wrong — had to call down to correct actual stay dates. Someone actually came into my room while I was in the shower. One of the days no one came to clean/replenish at all — no housekeeping whatsoever. Had to call down to ask for water to get brought up… got room service and wine was missing completely, however they certainly didnt forget to charge me for it… was pretty much finished with dinner by the time wine actually arrived. Overall this hotel was terrible. Perhaps because they are new and dont have their stuff together. Would not come back here.

Great service, people were friendly. Beer selection in the bar was meh and server matched. Not bad just average. The place is pretty though.

It's quality is great… However it's really pricey. 16 dollars for Wi-Fi is really stupid and 5 dollars for an orange is out of this world… I mean the mall offers free Wi-Fi and a bag of oranges is less than five dollars. But this hotel offers amazing quality and customer service. Also the gym is amazing and the pool is decent. The rooms beds are comfy Too! I would give it 5/5 if it wasn't for the price. But I would recommend this hotel to others!
