Dirty and rude and racist.

The manager posted a meme about running over BLM protesters and then was stupid enough to be mad when called out. She's doing a great job at representing the hotel let me tell you! despicable.

The room was clean and well appointed, very comfortable bed and pillows (they have both soft and firm pillows on the bed). The staff were all very corteous. My only complaint was that my ceiling creaked with every step taken in the room above me, and the highway noise was almost unbearable late at night. Next time I will ask for a room that doesn't have a window facing the highway.

Nice hotel with a convient location to basically any I’m yhe Kalamazoo/Portage area. Reasonably clean rooms and decent beds. No complaints!

The staff was welcoming and the rooms were very nice. We were billed incorrectly for our stay and the staff was unable to make any immediate changes to the charges which was disappointing. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay. The amenities offered were great! The breakfast was a five star hot breakfast and who doesn’t love walking into the lobby with fresh cookies waiting for you?

Nice new hotel. The internet does not like Chromebooks for some reason. My windows PC worked great though.

Bed was comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful. The remote for TV did not work as well as desired and the ice machine did not produce good cubes of ice. I enjoyed my experience overall.

Rooms felt old and need remodeling. Had a bit of an odor. Overall met my needs.

I made a reservation a couple days in advance, gave them all my information. Upon arrival, my reservation is non-existent. The desk agent tries to call the other Holiday Inn Expresses in the area to make sure I didn’t call the wrong place, but I show her my phone and she confirms that I called this location. I then wait 15 minutes for her to figure out how to make another reservation for me, since the computer keeps erasing all my information. Looking back, I wish I would have walked out at this point. I ask for a quiet room since I’m here on business and need undisturbed sleep. When I get to my room I can hear loud video games and voices coming through the adjoining door, so I ask to change rooms. The desk agent politely changes my room, but then addresses me by a nickname that I do not use in a way too casual conversation; just use sir or ma'am and be professional. Your customers are probably upset when you screw up their reservation twice and may be tired and just want to rest. The roomI was moved to was fairly quiet, but I could hear highway traffic and the floor creaking above me when people were walking. This place shows its age A LOT. The carpet is worn and the paint is chipping off metal fixtures. Plus there’s heavy wear on the sink, which is rusting along with other bathroom fixtures. Definitely not worth the price point at which they’re selling it. The air must have been incredibly dry because I kept getting shocked by everything and felt itchy all the time.

Was really nice. Booked a last minute room with my points, mainly picked due to location. Right off 94 and a Denny's right by the hotel. Awesome environment. I called earlier in the day to guarantee my room for a 2am check in. Bryson at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice. Pool was also nice and warm, perfect for a winter's day. Will definitely stay here again!

Jill! Jill's customer service was exceptional! She went above and beyond to assist us. The hotel was clean, breakfast was hot and tasty. Pool was clean, the water temperature was so warm! I just can't say enough about Jill though. She was amazing and made the stay a great experience. When back in Kalamazoo we will definitely stay here again. Only if Jill is working!

Do not take room side highway because too noisy, day and night.

Hotel is conveniently located, staff was cordial. Not the best Holiday Inn I have stayed at but nothing seriously wrong by any stretch. Rooms were comfortable but could use a little renovation. Would stay here again without hesitation.

We always stay at the Holiday Inn when we come & visit family in Michigan. Very convenient to the mall & other places.

The room was great and clean. The beds werent super comfortable, but my husband and I are spoiled at home. :) Our team had a wonderful time and the front desk was very kind when we got a little too loud.

We Made reservations for 2 rooms 2weeks ago. The check in time is 3 pm it is now 6:30pm and our rooms are still NOT ready. This is completely unacceptable and they have not even offered to give us a discount. We are still waiting for the hotel to call us to let us know when the rooms are available. I would not recommend this place and wish I could give it 0 stars.

This hotel is one of the BEST I have stayed at. The staff were super friendly and welcoming and the hotel rooms were immaculate. I needed a hotel last minute and booked online. When I found I'd be arriving later than usual I called the front desk who assured me it was no problem. When I arrived I was created by the same gentleman who I spoke to on the phone who engaged me in conversation while completing my reservation. The staff in the lobby at breakfast were extremely friendly as well and greeted everyone who walked in. Its conveniently located near the Air Zoo just off if I-94 and not far from WMUs campus. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the Kalamazoo area!

This is a very nice hotel. It's clean and quiet. Comfortable bed slept great. Would stay here again.

Can't think of enough good things to say about this place. Clean, well-staffed, quiet rooms, great service, fast check-in and check-out. Makes me wish I was able to get myself out of bed to get their breakfast!

Great stay. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff and a reasonable rate. Just off highway, very convenient for our motorcycle trip.

Great staff I really enjoyed my stay. The staff went over and beyond to make sure I was happy. Always kept my towels and bedsheets fresh and new. The hotel staff brought me extra coffee for the room. Stayed there 5 nights and highly recommended.

Great service, very large good breakfast choice, room was very comfortable as well. Overall great stay!

Good place to stay when you've got a hockey tournament across the street.

The rooms were nice. The beds were sufficient. The complimentary breakfast was mediocre but like mentioned, complimentary. Swimming pool was small. It was an all around alright hotel. Nothing special, nothing terrible.

Nice, clean, and reasonably priced hotel. It has a varied and typical continental breakfast complete with pancake printer. Pool looks bigger online, it is actually quite small. I would recommend this hotel.

Clean, quiet room, right by the wings event center.

As with all Holiday Inn Expresses I've experienced, this one was clean and had great amenities. The breakfast was nice, the pool was warm, and the front desk staff was responsive. We were a little disappointed that we had "Do not disturb" on our door at 10 am and apparently missed our opportunity to have our room cleaned. I asked just after 11am if we could have our room cleaned and we were told the cleaning staff was already gone so our room could not be cleaned.

The staff here is rude and unbearable. The rooms are not clean and management refuses do do anything about it. Be prepared to have an uneasy sleep if you stay here.
