Beware of the room rate change. First night $203 and second night $118, yet room rate when booked showed the $118. I missed the little note of alerting me on change for other night. It’s easy to miss. Hotel is worth $118 but not $203 and really no explanation for difference. Just stayed on a Tuesday and Wednesday night, not weekend or holiday.

It’s a friendly environment.

We stayed for 2 nights with our toddler. It was clean, relaxing & well stocked with everything you could need. Plates, glasses, wine glasses, silverware, pots & pans, dish soap. Even a dishwasher & a stove. The fridge was exactly the same fridge we have at home, so that was nice. Lol The indoor pool is saltwater & a good size. It never got over crowded. I don't think it was heated, but it wasn't really cold. It just took a second to get used to. There was also a hot tub but we didn't use it. There are on site washers & dryers which came in handy for our bathing suits. They have a good selection of food for breakfast. They had 2 kinds of scrambled eggs, one with the yolk, one without. 4 cereals to choose from, a waffle maker, bacon, also strawberries mixed with grapes & one morning they cantaloupe. They even had Greek yogurt with a variety of mix ins that you could choose from. The staff were friendly & helpful, but mostly just stayed out of our way so we didn't feel pestered. We really had a great time & will choose Residence Inn again in the future. The only mild complaint I have is that there isn't a horizontal bar in the shower to hang wet clothes on. There's a vertical bar for safety reasons, but nothing to hang your bathing suit on where it won't drip on the floor. I don't think that's such a big deal though. They could easily fix it in the future by putting one of those retractable clothes lines in the shower.

Very friendly staff, clean rooms and site, like the nature walk, pool, and all the amenities! Got a room upgrade which made our anniversary celebration even better!

Worth the price. The rooms were beautiful and the bed was comfortable. Going to stay there again very soon!

Clean, modern room but the noise from the vent by the room’s entrance door is very loud specially at night; if you’re sensitive to noise, it will be challenging to catch sleep. If you’re planning to use the sofa bed, I suggest to bring extra cushion; the one provided is thin hence you can feel the spring of the frame. Be careful selecting the Wi-Fi service. We connected our devices, thinking that we’re selecting the free option but turned out we did the upgraded version. Bummer when you have multiple devices connected.

Awesome place to stay and have your business meeting as well. Stay very friendly and timely in every way. Definitely recommend for future reference.

Nice Marriott property however they don't offer the complimentary drinks between Monday to Wednesday. It is little hard to spot.

The room was absolutely lovely, and very spacious. The shower stall in the bathroom was properly sealed so water doesn't spill all over the floor, which I almost never see in hotels! There were also some very nice wallpaper choices throughout, and the bed itself was super comfortable. I would gladly stay there again.

So clean and nice. Breakfast was great, too! We will stay here again!

We stayed at this hotel for 30 days and had a great experience. The rooms are large and they have free breakfast daily, free dinner/appetizers three days a week, and a clean indoor pool and hot tub. I would definitely recommend!

All the hotel staff was very friendly and attentive. Even the cook in the kitchen! The rooms were clean, the pool & hot tub were perfect. Even the other guests were friendly. Overall a great experience!

The staff was extremely friendly. The room was perfect. Loved having a kitchen and a lot of extra space in the room. The bed was very comfy. The pool and hot tub were great. The breakfast was also fantastic. Our whole family spent the night for the holidays and we couldn't have been more pleased with our decision to stay there.

Clean, new hotel; good location away from the traffic on 28th St; comfortable beds and a nice amount of space for our our family. Couch in living space needs to be updated (not comfy) but everything else was great. Helpful, friendly staff.

Really enjoyed our stay for a long weekend of work. Impressed with the hot breakfast bar AND the Gluten Free bagels they offer! Woot! Woot! Comfortable rooms, quiet environment, slept great and worked hard. Love me some Residence Inn!

Very nice hotel. Slightly confusing to get there when I first arrived. Be sure to turn at the La-Z-Boy and follow the road all the way. The room was a bit loud with the air handler and the refrigerator when I tried to sleep. But a pair of earplugs fixed that. Off the road enough you don't hear the traffic though, but still close enough to everything.

I have stayed at the Residence Inn Marriott-Grand Rapids Airport a few times and have had a wonderful experience each time. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and the room is always very clean. The free breakfast in the morning is always a plus! I will continue to stay here when I come to town.

Hotel was very nice and well maintained, breakfast was decent, however my issue came at checkout I was quoted one price when making the reservation and charged another price at checkout. Addressed the issue while I was there and was informed I would hear from the hotel, needles to say had to call back myself only to be told the price the agent quoted me when making the reservation was an error on the agents part but there was nothing they can do smh I wasn't looking for a refund they could have given us credit towards a future reservation or anything but all she had to say was sorry! Made reservation for January 2018 for my family but seriously considering staying somewhere else! As a reward member I will definently be contacting Marriott's Hotels Corporate Office.

The actual hotel has been fantastic. Getting there sucked. There aren't clear signs on the main road and Google maps really struggled with clear directions.

Everything you could ever want in a luxury hotel yet price is very reasonable. Spotless and has everything you would need for business or personal stays. We will be back!

Good room, decent internet, odd location. Seriously, Google maps stops you a quarter mile away and there's a little sign near a lazyboy store. It can be hard to find, especially during heavy traffic.

Chelsea at tje front desk was very helpful! Tje hotel is spotless! Very clean, new rooms, complementary breakfast amd t re and transportation to tje airport! Highly recommend this hotel.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in. The front desk was incredibly nice and helpful. Our room was clean and tastefully decorated. And the breakfast was superb. I highly recommend the coffee cake. Everything was excellent.

Hotel was very clean. Staff was great. Location was great to get to all attractions. Would stay there again. Had a very large breakfast too pick from hot eggs and sausage, fruit and dessert and the dinning was very large with free coffee all day long.

Nice rooms, friendly and very helpful staff. I had two packages shipped to the hotel in advance of our arrival and they repeatedly checked the hotel mailbox and helped me get in touch with the local post office to locate my items.

This must be a brand new hotel, everything was perfect. The spacious rooms, soft linnens, large shower and living space. Very clean and all around amazing.

Customer service is not friendly, they don't talk to you. They always seem angry. For the price you have to pay for stay, I think it's ridiculous that you need to pay for Wi-Fi! The mirrored light was the only highlight.

Great new property near Grand Rapids Airport. Rooms are nice, facility is çlean, and breakfast is decent. I would recommend staying here.

Stayed the last few days visiting family and had some Grandkids with me. What a great place. One of the best hotels for free breakfast. They have hot quality food in the morning including make your own waffle. Pool and hot tub was really nice. Had a two bedroom suite and loved how both bedrooms had doors so if you wanted to sleep others could stay up. I stay in gr quite often to visit family and this is the nicest suite hotel by far. Staff is amazing. They even had local micro beers for sale and individual bottles of wine for sale in the little deli market area by the front desk. Staff is great if you need dishes or anything to stock your kitchen area. What a treat. We will be back.

Good location relative to the airport. The hotel has social events with free food every week. The staff was nice and always able to help me with any problems. Theres a kitchen in each room.

I've been traveling to Grand Rapids frequently over the past year, and have had a chance to stay at several (around 8 or so) hotels in the area. This one's beauty is only skin deep. If you peel back a couple layers, you soon see there is quite a bit of room for improvement. While the hotel itself is new, it is not finished properly, and the staff is not well trained. For example, I've frequently had to ask for dishes to be stocked in the room, or for the dishwasher to be bolted to the cabinets. It's like the contractor who oversaw furnishings took every shortcut he could. Some top cabinets in the kitchen scrape the ceiling when opened, some toilets run all night and wake you up, and the kitchen sink drains slowly due to the design of the rubber garbage disposal gasket. Housekeeping also frequently forgets to restock items, and maintenance doesn't do a great job of ensuring light bulbs are replaced quickly in the hallways. I've brought these issues up several times, but I don't think anyone really will fix anything. It's a shame, because I love the modern decor and location, but I really won't be coming back again given the service. I would encourage Marriott to have a word with the property management company and get things sorted out, nectar there is a lot of potential here. One last note: the Wi-Fi is terrible. Expect no more than 150 KB (byte, not bit) per second for the free stuff.

Been staying here every M-Th for over a year. Great accommodations, friendly staff. Great outdoor atmosphere with the fire pit! Free breakfast and happy hour apps are OK.

I regret having to write that this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Thank you and improve.
