Quite comfortable and visualy clean. Smelled like it used to be a smoking room, not bad but a bit noticeable. Good deal for the area. Nice view from the upper rear windows. Air-conditioning worked great.

Very comfortable and nice place to stay. Customer service was fantastic they help you out in any way that they can. Just been remodeled it's looking good. I would go back again with no problem truck drivers are okay there's room. And pet friendly.

Good room, excellent price. Glad we made a reservation, this place does not have many rooms. Great shower, tall enough for my 6 foot 3 boyfriend, and with good water pressure. Getting a first floor room away from the road would have been ideal. The breakfast left a lot to be desired — no black tea and whatever the cinnamon-roll-shaped item in the plastic bag was, it didn't taste good.

Our family was in Cadillac for our grandson's graduation and 18th birthday. We stayed at this hotel for 8 days. It was a wonderful experience! Clean, affordable, and friendly staff that went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Loved the free breakfast (continental-style, lots of choices and all fresh everyday) and the breakfast room became a great little meeting place! Got to meet and talk with some of the other guests visiting from all over the country! Free Wi-Fi too! There is also free access to a desktop computer and printer in lobby that with the help of Mike Patel the front desk manager, helped Mom, who is a realtor, to scan and email some paperwork to a client in California which really impressed her client. Burke's Waterfront Restaurant shares the parking lot, and is an easy walk. Great food and lovely patio overlooking the lake. Overall just a great experience. We leave tomorrow, but will surely be back! Thank you Econolodge of Cadillac!

Good place if you JUST want bed and bathroom. Nothing else. Have a place for breakfast, but no lobby, gym, or anything else like other hotels in the price range.

I've been staying all around Cadillac, for work, for the past 2 months, and I finally found my home away from home. I obviously know that the price can make a huge difference when it comes to hotels, but this price is amazing for the quality of the room. The rooms are clean, the views are great, you have a balcony on the second floor and a patio on the ground floor. They are currently remodelling and making it even better. The staff is very friendly and if you ever need anything, all you have to do is ask. Very impressed.

Comfortable, clean, convenient dual entrances to 1st floor rooms (central hall and directly from car parking space), courteous staff and continental breakfast. All the essentials in a no-frills economy lodge. Back side rooms overlook a marshland — much quieter than street side.

My wife and I were in town on business and we stayed at this motel. We were very impressed with our stay. Our room was very nice and very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and the staff was very pleasant. We have stayed at much more expensive motels that weren't nearly as nice as this one. I highly recommend econo lodge in Cadillac Michigan.

Decent accommodations at a great price. The staff was warm and welcoming. The location is excellent and provided a great stop-off point for skiing at Caberfae. We will definitely consider coming back.

Well taken care of. Clean rooms. Lake in the front and side. Descent restaurant in the parking lot. Enough shopping close by and much more 5 miles down the road. Most staff very friendly only had a problem with one of the staff members. He is on duty later in the day and both times he assisted me he treats you like you are trying to get over on him. Other than that it was a relaxing stay.

Exceptional service. No slackers here. The motel smells fresh upon entry to the lobby. Rooms were very clean. Will definitely stay here again when in Cadillac.

The rates very reasonable, and really… I was not expecting much, but staff was pleasant and helpful, room was not "fancy", but nicely equipped with microwave, fridge, coffee etc… but most important, room was clean, bed and pillows comfortable. Only minor criticism might be to check and retire bedspread with a few perm stains, but once removed, everything under… sheets, blanket pillows etc were clean and fresh… balcony nice… simple continental breakfast included and again, not fancy, but clean, pleasant eating area, good coffee… we will return here again… I would rate very highly relative to cost… nice base for enjoying whole area…

Good decent place. Mostly was clean except the blanket which had some hair here and there. Rooms have microwave oven. Breakfast wasn't extensive. Simple breads, coffee, bagels, pastries, milk and juice.

Price was pretty reasonable, had two beds and a balcony. For what we paid the room was nice and there wasn't much else you'd need if you're an overnight guest.

Great hotel. Clean, staff friendly. Great shower (rain shower head with new tub/shower/curtain), very comfortable bed. Spent 2, 000 more choice points than I would of at some other comparable hotels but our stay turned out to be very pleasant. Pretty location. Will stay at this hotel again.

Pulled into this place super late one night in passing as we were ghost hunting. The Gentleman there was very welcoming and reminded me of options I had to get a discount rate for the night. I highly recommend this place if you're just looking for a comfortable, clean bed to crash on.

I came up in july for a visit, stayed at econo lodge, the room was very clean, bed was comfortable, the lady that checked me in was very friendly, I am a smoker and they had a chair outside the room so I could smoke, I highly recommend if your looking for a place to stay, this is it. I want to thank them for a pleasant stay, and look forward to staying there next time I come up to Cadillac.

For the price I love it. First floor individual access to parking lot. Two chairs where you can sit outside. Comfy king bed, spacious room, refrigerator, table and two chairs to dine at. Continental breakfast room was clean and neat. The food was right up my alley, bagels, danishes, apples, individual servings of fruit, yogurt, juices, cream cheese, peanut butter, jam. Even though we're on 115 you can't hear the traffic. TV is not a flat screen but it's ok, we were barely in our room to watch it. We plan to stay here again.

We stayed here because our first choice cheaper hotel in town had a dead bug in our bed among other issues. I called econo lodge late at night to sve us and they have a room just for us! Even just the phone call was amazing how nice they were. Then the free breakfast, not the biggest selection but you can't beat free. And something that really proves how great the service is: my girlfriend and I were walking back to our room with hands full of food from breakfast so we were struggling to get our key out and open our door. Then one of the employees ran over and opened the door for us! Definitely will be staying here again.

I stop here once a week, the people are very friendly! Rooms are pretty good.

Very clean and quiet. Needs some updating (TV's are still the old tube style… Time to move into the 21st century) overall, very quiet nice overall stay.

Nice quaint room close to the shore lines. We enjoyed a nice overnight stay within close distance from bowling, and entertainment.

Price, location, and manager were great. But the room picked was terrible close to front so heard everything that went on in front desk and the road. The housekeepers were weird and got angry when I took a box to take out the bottles that were mine.

Great for a 1 night one and done, was in a great location between many reataurants/lake. Service was average, didn't feel like anyone was trying to give me a satisfactory handy…

The gentleman at the front dest were very nice and helpful. Keep in mind that this is not a 5 star $200 a night place. The rooms were nicer than expected, beds were clean, bathroom was clean. Breakfast was the usual bagels, muffin, cereal and oj. All in all not a bad place to stay while goin to caberfae.

Travelers, be warned! If you are looking for a pleasant and relaxing place to stay, take your business elsewhere. Upon our arrival, there was no one to receive us at the front desk; we had to actively search for the front desk agent in order to check in. Little did we know that this would be the first of many disappointments that we would encounter during our stay. Once we arrived at our room, we discovered the area to be dirty and outdated. The carpet was stained, and the bathroom was horrifying. The ceiling light was nothing more than a bare lightbulb, the fixtures were rusty, and the grout was stained. The worst part, however, was the water quality. The bathwater was brown, a circumstance which forced us to use bottled water for our morning ablutions. After notifying the front desk agent of our contaminated water supply, they nonchalantly suggested that this was an occurrence that was caused by a change of the hot water heater, as if this were a reasonable explanation for why their guests were left with a filthy water supply. I would caution anyone from staying at this hotel.
