Friendly service, clean rooms, good continental breakfast.

The usual Holiday Inn experience. Many improvements since the renovations were finished, and the staff is excellent. Finally got a room with a fridge, but the Wi-Fi on the third floor is just terrible, and the showers still need something in the bottom of the tub for traction. Breakfast isnt served til 6:30, which doesnt make sense since most of the clientele in this area is construction workers who have to be somewhere by then!

Awsome. Bed was overly comfortable. Shuttle van to casino was quick and easy to utilize. Staff very friendly. Superb!

Sadly room 321 smelled like smoke/mildew. Very dirty everywhere. So disapointed as its 11:21 PM and are so tired. On to Albert Lea Holiday Inn Express.

Rooms could do with a bit of updating. Carpets need to be cleaned more often. Our last stay someone had a cat that peed on the carpet, at least it smelled like it. Only were staying one night, so we didn't make a big deal of it. The staff is super friendly and great. Always very helpful. No complaints about staff. The hotel is starting to show some age.

Terrile. I'm diaetic & need a fridge for my insulin. There wasn't one, microwave was down the hall. Ice tasted awe full. Thermastate was roken & had to move to another room. Toilet was so low to the ground. Staff didn't care aout anything.
read was hard, muffins dry, ran out of sausages.
The only nice person was the woman doing the food. Reading old comments, & am shocked of the good service they had. Need to get new employees & up everything in service.
Will never stay here again! Then for what we got, the price was outragous!

We were greeted with very friendly and welcoming staff. When asked if we can have our two rooms together (we had two separate reservations) this was done with no problems. We were informed of times for the pool, breakfast and complimentary laundry service. They even had laundry pods to give. The rooms were very nice. Clean, modern, and plenty of pillows. The view out the window showed green fields of grain. Very pretty for midwesterners (we are from Nebraska). Pool was nice and clean with comfortable water temps. Breakfast was great with plenty of food options. They had sugar free and gluten free foods too. Very grateful for a wonderful experience to end our 5 day road trip.

Friendly, helpful staff; rooms clean and modern; breakfast had hot food choices, including omelets, sausage, pancakes but also healthy food options. A nice perk was free laundry and they also had free Tide pods. Also K cups and Bath and Body toiletries in our room.

Parking spots are not big enough. Hotel attendant had no idea what he or she was doing, not sure what it was, can't use pool or hot tub, whole hotel including the room reeks of horrid body odor. Great experience! So happy to pay over 300 for 2 nights!

Very friendly staff, room was clean and had plenty if space. Breakfast had plenty of options. I highly recommend this hotel! Could not have been more satisfied with my stay.

Ok so. The staff is nice but our keys don't work so every time we left the room the keys did not work. Then there is that we could not go swimming at the pool here because some kid or adult pooped in there so everyone was mad about that and it takes two days to clean a freaking pool seriously! So I personally don't recommend staying here. Our room smelled like cigars and topaco. Our beds we're not made. The room was trashed.

Room was pretty clean. Ice machine didn't work. Other guests had screaming kids. Not the best experience.

Basic rooms didn't have fridge or microwaves, side doors weren't working but parts were ordered and ice machine on third floor out of order, but parts ordered. No fridge or microwave was a big deal to me.

Needs updating. Location is great for Mayo visits.

Rooms can vary wildly. Some rooms on the upper floor are right beneath the fan that acts as a vent for all the bathrooms below, so those rooms are extra noisey. Not a bad thing if you want something that is the equivalent of a white noise machine.

Typical Holiday Inn Express, convenient location… Good place to stay the night, casino next door… Nice gas station for getting you started back on journey.

Nice clean hotel with good service. Holiday Inn Express are all mostly similar and this is a good one with a very nice lobby/common area. Right next door to the Casino so there's some things to do nearby.

The room was spacious and clean. There were very minor issues such as a bathroom door that didn't lock but that didn't detract much from the experience. The children in the room above us were another story.

Very good place with good value under corporate rate. Nice room, decent fitness center and good breakfast.

Check in and check out was easy and fast. Room was clean. Hotel was VERY full. Breakfast was usual Holiday Inn fare, nothing fancy. Last second booking rate was not terribly expensive.

Was a little scary with other patrons arguing on our floor… but over all good stay a little mold in our shower… but the continental breakfast was one of the best ones we have ever had! Will stay again when we come this way…

Room was clean, free king room upgrade, continental breakfast, good place for a quick overnight stay, no frills.

I had a housekeeper yesterday that was awesome. Not sure her name but she had 308 I think she was the best housekeeper I have had at a hotel so far. She was very friendly.

Incredibly well maintained, an impeccably lit lobby, enough power outlets for everyone to charge their phone and some very friendly employees, almost intimate.

Clean and quiet hotel. Good price and close to the interstate. Wi-Fi was a bit choppy but not bad. Northwood is about 6 miles away, not much there, but you can find food and drink…

This is a nice hotel for the price. I liked that it's next to the casino. It was very clean and the rooms were nice. Check in and check out were both easy. I have stayed here before when we come here to visit family, and will stay here again.

Room was clean and put together well. Well maintenenced. Room had a cozy feel to it. The hotel is not huge, so anywhere you park is close to your room. Halls were clean and everything smelled clean.

Great stay and got a excellent late checkout. Would stay again.

This is a fantastic place. The people are awesome and wonderful.

The room was clean the price was cheap no bed bugs the front desk woman could have been a little better at her job though.

It had sproblems. Like the door knob fell off and crazy people are there.

I can honestly say that this is the best HIE I have stayed in. Definitely the best in Iowa. Very clean, sharp. And unlike all the other hotels in Iowa. No flies in the rooms.
