Staff was super friendly. We arrived late and Steve was so hospitable. Extra large suites are perfect for groups that want to hang and socialize. They even have basketball hoops. Ballers choice.

A party was allowed to go on until 4am even after two calls to the front desk and one to the police department. Worst hotel experience ever, we will never be back!

It is 4AM and we have just returned to IL and have our children in the vehicle and were told we are not able to stay at this location bc we "trashed" a room. That is the biggest embellishment of a fabricated bold faced lie I have ever heard. We have stayed in a room at this hotel where the wooden stand/decor under the TV on the wall was literally being held up by duct tape. I always take images of how a room is when we arrive and when we leave so show me the images of the trashed room and let's compare… your problem w us is that we are "titanium elite" members in Marriott Bonvoys BS rewards program and supposed to receive a 'guaranteed' 4pm checkout time at every hotel (excluding resort and conference hotels) and at this location always run into issues but was told by the GM himself that Satursay late checkout is not a problem. The last time we stayed we checked out on a Saturday and were still told we couldn't check out at 4. We called Marriott Bonvoy and they ultimately ended up accommodating our supposed 'guaranteed ' benefit to the chagrin of the front desk associate on duty. Bc of this, I knew there would be backlash (which is why I made sure to take images just in case). Aside from the disagreement due to the outlined benefits that I have been assured and reassured by MBV that I should be receiving from all hotels and this one specifically, we have never had any issues at this hotel.

Very clean. Every staff member was more than happy to help us and were very courteous. Amazing breakfast. Quick check in & out. Nice pool. And outdoor area (couldn't enjoy it due to the weather). The small convenience store area has a lot of things you may want or need. I have stayed here twice and will definitely continue if the hotel stays as it is (:

Absolutely great place, would recommend this location.

We made reservations but still they gave our room away to another person with the same last name. They found us another room but the layout was odd because our kids had to travel through our private bedroom to use the bathroom. Comfy bed, and kitchen was nice. The breakfast area gets pretty crowded but had a fine selection.

We stayed there because it was near where my husbands uncles funeral was. My husband forgot his suit. They called and told us that a week later! Wow, the room didn’t get cleaned for a week! They said they were sending it back, I assumed mailing. Especially since the post office is only 3 minutes away! Makes since to me! No, the used fed ex. We get the suit. Then a bill from fed ex for $118! I called and spoke the manager Ben, he said I can’t help what fed ex charges! I said why didn’t you mail it? He said we use fed ex!
Never forget anything at a residence I guess! You can ship to Europe cheaper than it cost us to get his suit pack! By the way it only weighed 3 pounds! I will never stay here again!

Relatively new, among the best extended stay format hotel we have visited. Safe area, some of the surrounding cities are not.

In town visiting family. Booked a room here because the pool area looked nice in the online photos, and my 2 year old son loves to swim. Positives: Nice updated rooms. Negatives: Pool area was surrounded by middle aged men smoking cigarettes. We later discovered they were staff. One off duty staff member had brought his two kids to swim on his day off. And, then decided to pick a fight with a 5 year old girl in the pool area. Not exactly a relaxing environment to swim with your children. Very strange. We left the hotel after being there for only an hour, and stayed across the street at the Homewood Suites by Hilton. Rooms were a little outdated, however the pool area was nice and relaxing. There were no staff members lounging around smoking cigarettes, and picking fights with the hotels guests. Which is a plus in my book.

Nice modern clean — just wish they had an overhead cover at the entrance so we didn't get wet.

Awesome hotel for long stays. Fully equipped kitchen, basketball court, indoor pool, business center, complimentary breakfast, guest laundry, outdoor grill, close to restaurants, mall and cinemas. Can't go with with this hotel.

Really made me feel like a home away from home. Highly recommended whether you stay for a weekend or for a month. They have the best and most caring chef who makes the best veggie crumble ever. The guest services agents are also top notch. The rooms themselves are very clean, and come with a full kitchen that has any cooking utensils you may need. 24/7 gym with access to a local gym if you want even more. 6 out of 5 stars from this trusted local guide.

Nice hotel, employees were friendly and helpful, exercise room was well equipped with new machines, breakfast was good and the hotel was conveniently located. Loved the big bathroom and shower until I noticed all the black hair on the shower walls and bathroom floor. Since I have blonde hair and at that point hadn't used the shower, I don't think it was mine. Needless to say I was grossed out. Also, there is no way to shut off the fan in the bathroom and since mine was quite loud, I had to sleep with the bathroom door closed. The coffee maker in the room was broken and I had to hold the basket down to get the water to flow through to the carafe. We are platinum members and this is the first time something like this has ever happened.

Very clean, quiet place. Perfect for families. Only a couple small complaints. Pool was chilly, but it was 10 degrees outside so whatever, hot tub was perfect. There was a dirty towel behind the door in our room, but no big deal, it happens. Other than that it was perfect. Definitely stay here again when in town!

Great Place to get off from busy city life style. Brand NEW construction and within the center of Forsyth, IL and near by access to lot of good restaurants and mall.

Great place to relax or have some family fun. Room was terrific. Spacious and Clean. Kitchenette was well stocked. Pool and whirlpool area was clean. Workout room is Awesome. Laundry room has newer machine and is spacious. Staff was very helpful (Thank You Kelsie! ). I will stay here again and I recommend you should also.

Clean modern hotel, with a very helpful and friendly staff. They had a persistent issue with the room keys which would have been annoying if the staff wasn't so accommodating overall. We will stay here again if we get the opportunity.

We had family staying in one of their suites, and it was very nice. The hotel is very new, and it shows. Sadly, the water in the pool was rather cool, but given the freezing outside temperatures, that was not unexpected.

Came in late and the service was excellent. The workers were welcoming and very accommodating. The room was clean and tidy.

Atmosphere is upbeat, fun, but yet contemporary, clean and a splash of sophistication. The staff are all wonderful and pleasant. Highly recommend for a lovely stay.

Stopped in to rest overnight while traveling from Georgia to North Dakota. From the time I spoke to someone on the phone til my check out time, the experience was marvelous. Brandon took great of me and had great customer service. So happy I chose to stay here overnight.

Pros: Clean room, and friendly service. Plenty to choose from at breakfast. Cons: The HVAC system was unsually loud and the bedroom light switch did nothing, had to switch the lamps manually. Just minor things though, I would stay here again.

Very nice rooms and great service.

Booked a room and had to cancel three weeks ahead of my stay. Manager said because I got best rate I couldn’t get a refund. Being a rewards member means nothing and you don’t get refund. I’ll always get the best price! So now they are not refunding my room and they are standing behind there policy. I got to Marriott corporate and they said it is up to hotel to issue refund. I have called and they are fine still to charge me for the room. Please never deal with this company and hotel. There business practice is sad.

Worst customer service I have ever dealt with. On hold times are ridiculous and the manager very unhelpful. I also notice only the positive reviews get a response. Never. Again.

Never deal with this company! Being a reward member gets you nothing! Booked a room as rewards member that gives you lowest rate and had to cancel (3 weeks ahead of event). Then they charge you in full for the room and will not refund your money once cancelled. You only have 24 hours to cancel a room or you still have to pay whole amount! Nice business practices! So I called customer service and after an hour they told me it is the Marriott Decatur Forsyth that has to issue refund. They said there is nothing they can do. You all should be ashamed of yourself for taking money like this…

Newer Hotel, built within last two years. Stayed two nights, supposed to be three but over sold I was told, which forced us to stay one night at the Homewood Suites across the street. As a platinum elite member this was almost unforgiving however, I had a room with another hotel and location so it was not the end of the world. Smooth check in and the free breakfast was on par with other Marriott properties. The king bed, open modern shower with the speaker phone shower-head was a nice addition to an already great floor plan. They will local shop for groceries and the room also has a full size kitchen and couch. There is no dining table to speak of however, there is a small breakfast counter with 2 seats. The only minor inconvenience of my room was that the bathroom fan seemed to always stay on and run, regardless of light switch positions. Also, I could here the Lowes speaker announcement a few times. Did not interrupt sleep and I would stay here again. Highly recommended if in the area. Nice clean hotel. Looks pretty new as well. Friendly helpful staff while I was there and it's in a pretty good area. Everything went well during this stay.

I travel 100% for my job, and this is one of the best hotels I've been to. The hotel itself is a standard Residence Inn, but the staff make the difference. The housekeeping staff is excellent and friendly, and the front desk staff are amiable and extremely helpful. I couldn't be more pleased.

I loved everything about my stay here. The staff are courteous and professional. The facility is clean and attractive.

The rooms are clean and-depending on which one you check out-very spacious. Free breakfast, Wi-Fi, and many other amenities are provided to you. Workers are eager to make sure your stay is comfortable and as stress free as possible. Payment is a little odd with not being able to pay in cash until you check-out. Otherwise cards are required for payment.

Got the studio room, only $119 a night. Beautiful room. Very modern and updated. Had a small kitchen with eating area, couch, spacious clean bathroom and super comfy king bed. Definitely recommend!

This is a beautiful, clean hotel. It has an upscale contemporary feel. The pool was perfect for our kids and the outdoor firepit was SO nice to relax by in the evenings. Customer service was fabulous. Brandon greeted us and made sure our room was all that we needed it to be. We want to come back to the area just to stay in this hotel again!

Hotel was very nice, and the kids loved the pool and hot tub. Breakfast was delicious and the bed was very comfortable. The only reason I didn't give it 5 is because our bathroom vanity had some small black hairs and dead bugs on it, and the chair at breakfast had some old dried up milk on it. When I told the receptionist she just said, I'm sorry about that and handed me our receipt. Staff was friendly and we will probably stay here again.
