Such a wonderful place to stay! If you’re ever in Fairfield, I highly recommend staying here. Perfect location and fabulous breakfasts. I’ll definitely be back.
My husband and I invited my cousin and his wife to come to Fairfield with us to clean the headstone of my great great grandparents and visit assorted other relatives graves in six different cemeteries. We’ve stayed in many B & B’s. But they had never experienced one before. I say, “experienced one”, because a B&B is not just a place to stay…. It should be a complete experience. And The Victorian On Main is exactly that! From the moment you walk in, you are warmly greeted and feel welcomed into a family home. We stayed in the beautiful Garden Suite and they chose the lovely Felix Room. The Inn is gorgeous and filled with a wide variety of fine antiques and collectibles, and offers a cozy, nicely stocked library. After a great nights sleep, we came down the stairs through the most inviting aromas that beckoned us to the dining room. We were served a buffet of various hot and cold freshly created gourmet delights. I’m a picky, plain eater by nature, but will try anything. I loved everything! Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. There were trees throughout the home currently decorated in fall themes. I would love to come back when the trees are decorated for Christmas and do some treasure hunting in the antique and collectible stores in the area. But most of all, I would love to have more time to chat with the sweet host, Kathleen! We highly recommend this lovely Inn to anyone! ❣️❤️❣️

We stayed here last night and we were enthralled by the charming decor. The innkeeper and her staff are equally charming and entertaining. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this beautiful treasure to all travelers. The gourmet breakfast was divine.
