Great choice. Modern hotel. 15 minutes to the Philippine restaurants. Not too far to downtown.

The check in process was good. When I got there it was quick and easy and the lady checking us in was nice. The room we were assigned had a blood stains on the white comforter (clearly visible). We were switched rooms only to find out there was a worm — maggot like worm on one of the beds and the other bed was clearly broken… one end of it lifted into the air as you sat down. The room also smelled of weed smoke. Again the lady working the front desk was apologetic and embarrassed rightfully so. The third room was just as disgusting as the first 2 rooms. I had to change the sheets myself and the sheets that were given weren't even the right size. Upon check out I asked about a manager and was told someone would be in by 730am. I called the hotel a bit later to speak to a manager to be told they don't even have one. The lady that I spoke with this time was rude and told me that since I slept at their hotel they would not refund my money. I explained to her that it was midnight by the time our room saga was somewhat under control and that I would like some sort of compensation. She said well if you would have not stayed we would have been able to refund you but since you slept in our nasty filthy rooms with zero towels you will not get a refund of any type. I have never felt more disrespected from a business. I travel a ton and have always had good luck with Holiday Inn Express. I will NEVER EVER stay here again and I will share the awful experience with everyone I know.

This is one of the cleanest and nicest hotels that I’ve stayed at.

I have had the best customer service from Ariana from day one. Always has a smile and pleasant.

I was staying in that hotel for a week and the treatment of the manager Griselda is very arrogant, they don't wash the bathrooms they just clean them, the beds just shake them, but they don't change anything, the pillow covers don't change them either, they just go changing the sheets or covers that are stained, the folders do not vacuum them much less they wash them, the manager humiliates people especially their employees, I was talking with a girl and says that they load a lot of work, which takes advantage of that people don't have papers to exploit them at work, they don't pay them weekly, they pay them a fortnight and they steal work hours, and the front desk people are inexperienced people because that way they can steal money from customers, That hotel is the worst, it looks clean but it isn't.

Awesome really friendly staff.

We received a warm welcome. The room was pretty big and and had everything we needed. There were plenty of free parking spots at all times and the complimentary breakfast was surprisingly good. I would recommend.

Best Holiday Inn Express I have stayed at. Safe neighborhood. Quiet neighborhood. Beautiful interior in a botel that looks new. Great breakfast and great parking.

My husband and our 10 month baby had a great time with our stay at your hotel. The hotel looked stunning and the rooms made a prefect "Home away from Home. " The breakfast was top notch. The staff kept my 10 month old allowing me to enjoy my breakfast while my husband slept in. Thank you for the great stay!

Nice hotel but inexperienced front desk employees. Charged me 3 times for one stay, tied my cards up for the weekend, and gave me the run around like they didn’t care to fix it. Still not fixed. I used to be a night auditor at a Marriott property and I know how important it is to make your guest as comfortable as possible during there stay with you and this place failed.

Very nice hotel, I would certainly stay there again. Staff told me it was renovated ~20 months ago and it showed. Positives: The rooms were nice and modern with very comfortable beds. Free parking, free breakfast, free Wi-Fi. Rates were reasonable. Staff was very friendly! Lots of inexpensive food options nearby. Check-in / check-out was very quick and easy. Less positive: The pool was small and shallow (3 feet at each end 4 feet in the middle), no hot tub. Parking spots behind the building were plentiful though a little on the small side. Not particularly close to the blue line if you want to take the train in to Chicago but not a terrible drive to the train either.

Very good for the price and location! Large and clean room, firm and comfortable mattresses, great breakfast, no trouble with parking. Would definitely stay again! Only (very minor) complaints would be in the bathroom: the TP holder is too low next to the stool and gets in the way, and the level of the tub is high enough compared to the floor that if you're not careful when you step out, you'll stumble. As I said, minor issues. Definitely keeping this hotel in mind for next time I'm in the area!

The Hotel was excellent across the board. Rooms were modern and very clean with very comfortable beds and pillows and very spacious. Great deal for the price you pay. Location is 45 min to downtown with usual Chicago traffic but only 20 min if after 9pm. This hotel also has a nice indoor pool and gym. The free breakfast is very good with a courteous Host to help if needed. Our front desk girl Sendey was very helpful and kind. Gave us good advice and was very attentive to our toddler daughter and her needs. I highly recommend this hotel!

They have the best breakfast. It also has healthy options like egg white fry, skimmed milk, sugar free breakfast syrup and even turkey sausage! 5 star for the breakfast.

The go to for me when flying into Chicago. Not downtown but in the quiet city of Niles, Illinois. North Chicago area. New room smell is still in the air. The rooms are clean, new and modern. Breakfast is the best you can get in 3 star hotels. Keep up the great work! See you next time!

Very nice place. The hotel was clean and everything worked. The people were friendly. Also, the breakfast was good! It's rare to enjoy a good breakfast at a hotel.

Clean and comfortable. The new beds are very quiet (No squeaky springs) and comfortable. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Included hot breakfast is good and has plenty of options.

Clean, new hotel. Has good Wi-Fi plus free internet access to their computers and printers. Nice to be able to print my boarding pass. Great breakfast bar with healthy choices.

A good choice for accommodation when flying to Chicago. It is close to the airport and the rates are reasonable, considering it is in Chicago area. The staff was nice and friendly. The room we clean and comfortable. From the facilities, I enjoyed a fitness room with treadmills and other equipment. Breakfast was also tasty, though with not that big selection of "healthy food".

3.5 Stars. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and a decent breakfast. — 1 star for the continual whine/grinding sound in our room — 1 star for the bathroom fan not working and breakfast items being scarce resulting in long waits for food.

The hotel is really nice and clean with convenient location. Small swimming pool open up to 9 pm, and fitness room open 24/7. Big and tidy rooms and comfortable bathrooms. Definitely worth recommendation.

Came here for my cousins wedding and this hotel is pretty much brand new. We ended up on the first floor not with my family and it was OK I didn't mind. Bonus being on the first floor was the awesome breakfast they served was right down the hall from my room. The room I had was a double queen and it was amazing.

The hotel was very pretty and the rooms were newly renovated and comfortable however I felt unwelcome and due to the Indian Man at the reception desk. When my family and I asked him for help it seemed like we were troubling him. The breakfast staff were hospitable and the complimentary breakfast was delicious. The walls are somewhat thin in the hotel rooms so we heard a couple fight all night long, which was unpleasant. The company also had nerve to overcharge my credit card multiple times. Overall, this hotel is aesthetically pleasing and provides complimentary breakfast, free pool access and a quiet recreation room, but some of the staff here are unprofessional and ruin the comftoerable experience.

New place and everything was great. Receptionist was very nice when we checked in last night. But, today there is some Indian guy on reception and three people including me came one by one and said him hi and that stupid guy was looking at us like we were some aliens. He even didn't bother to say good evening or hi in reply. We were like wth I took 2 stars off for the embarrassment we experienced. Hire some trained people or at least give them training how to greet people. And yes I am not white supremacist but from people of color.

Excellent hotel it is new and still has that new hotel smell. Great big spacious rooms with blackout shades. Great breakfast typical of a Holiday Inn Express. Great location with lots of food choices nearby.

This is an amazing gem! Everything state of the art. I loved the modern decor and the super comfortable beds. But most importantly, I was extremely impressed with the front desk staff. So friendly and accommodating! Truly one of the nicest Holiday Inn Express hotels we've stayed in. We'll definitely be back!

Oh my GAWD! I've never ever felt so comfortable in a hotel but this one… man… the bed was great, the service was great, the bathroom is great, I can't wait to use the fitness center in the morning! I wish I would've brought my swim suit dang it! Breakfast was so good! The egg-white veggie omelet was so good and I freaking HATE eggs but I'm trying to be all healthy and stuff — oh — and they have Silk soy milk, maybe that isn't so unusual but I just enjoyed my whole stay, I can't say enough about the place! Overall — — A-MAZING! Thanks to all who made it as nice and comfy and enjoyable as it was — WE'LL BE BACK!

Lousy cleaning. The worst cleaning service I have seen in many years of traveling. In a stay of 6 nights they "forgot" to do the toilet three times and the others did very badly. Very bad experience. I don't recommend it to my enemies.

Very good Hotel, very modern facilities.

Never been so disappointed with a hotel reservation. I specifically asked for a wheelchair accessible 2 bedroom with a roll in shower. When I got there they did not have one. They told me they didn’t not have any rooms like that. The hotel did their best in accommodating us. I still want to speak to corporate about the differences between Handicap accessible and wheelchair accessible. Big difference. This bathroom is not big enough for my Dom’s chair to fit. I would like to thank Mohammad from the hotel and Michelle from reservations for helping make it right.

Staff was super friendly. It was also very modern with updated furniture and lobby. The rooms had a lounge and accent lighting on the cabinets and bed. Very clean. Overall seemed a lot nicer than what you normally would expect from a standard Holiday Inn.

I am giving this Hotel 5 stars because it is really up to speed with the best of the best. We got off to a rough start but everything got straightened out and thoroughly enjoyed my stay there for a week! Extreamly clean. Video cameras everywhere for security. Very accessible to downtown Chicago and surrounding areas. I will be going back…

Decided to try and stay in this hotel over the weekend for upcoming events near by this hotel and it wasn't too far away so I must say I like it! The reason why I give them — — >five stars.

Great hotel with my second stay. However when I ran downstairs to get my delivery food I came back to find a maintenance gentleman — in — my room. Always unsettling. He claimed he was checking to make sure the room was clean… The employee at the front desk apologized when I told her about it, but that was all. Otherwise another great stay at this location, just one weird and uncomfortable incident marring it.

Clean, updated rooms. Loved the stand-up shower vs. Bathtub. Friendly staff, even healthy choices for breakfast (egg white veggie omelette was quite delicious) I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel was recently renovated and it is amazing! The beds are fantastic and I slept wonderfully. The staff was really accommodating, letting me check in early and check out late, and they were incredibly polite every time we spoke. Plus the breakfast was amazing. (I didn't use the pool, fitness room, or business center so I can't review those aspects but what I walked by also looked amazing! )

This hotel was relatively new when we visited, and wow was it a great place to crash after a long day of sightseeing. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. It isn't directly on the CTA transit buses line, but the Pace suburban bus system was nearby that could get you to the main Chicago transit, or you could take the 5-10 min car ride to a park & ride station for the trains into downtown. The hotel has a mini convenience store near the front desk, and the breakfasts were hot and delicious. The room we stayed in was well maintained and had ample plug-ins for all your electronics. The views out the window weren't anything special, but to be expected given a suburban hotel. If I have a choice on where to stay when in the Chicago area again, I'll try my best to stay here again.

Would give a 0 if I could. Very dirty rooms and weird stains on bed sheets when I arrived. Disgusting. Stay away and find a better place to crash at.

1. Questionable stains on sheets (not from me) 2. Pubic hair on bathroom floor (not mine) 3. TV has one fuzzy channel (not even a good channel — CNN) 4. Non smoking room doesn't smell like a non smoking room 5. Free Wi-Fi is nowhere to be found 6. Pieces of paint falling from ceiling 7. Toilet paper holder broken off wall 8. No refrigerator 9. Rude front desk 10. $70 per night is much to much for what you get. 11. Recommend sleeping in your clothes or taking a long shower after you get up. 12. Condensation dripping from ceiling after shower was brown. See pictures. 13. Dead cockroach in ceiling light. 14. Any people giving a 3+ star review must not understand the rating system. 15. The only positive was that the soap smelled ok.

I rent I two badroom for one night and we found out that it was dirty and there is some things that fly and bites too beside that I found women hair on the bed I sware and the worst part they refuse to replace it for me because the other rooms are reserved and they give me the choise to leave and it was 12:20 after midnight hhhhhhhh this is the first time in my life that I see a hotel kick out his customers.

If I could give this place no stars I would. There were holes in the wall, chipped paint everywhere and unexplainable stains on the carpet. Seems like a crack house, weird people were hanging around constantly going in and out of their rooms. But I guess you get what you pay for. Don't let the pictures fool you.

If you love the show Breaking Bad, then this place is for you! I half-expected Jesse Pinkman to show up at the door any minute with my meth. This place is a joke. Most of the rooms reak of cigarette smoke, and are filthy. Our group was forced to stay here once we realized there were no other hotels open. We had requested a king-sized bed and surprisingly the room wasn't ready when we got there. This place is the thing night mares are made of. I actually witnessed people flipping mattresses, looking for bed bugs. We had to ask for towels, to which the owner replied that laundry would be coming tomorrow. There were no hand towels, wash cloths, etc. Seems like the perfect spot for rooms to be rented by the hour. Totally gross, almost wrecked our trip. Stay away~.

Good price for Chicago and got free parking and a fridge and microwave. Looked ok online. The people were very nice. I'd like to offer quite a few suggestions to make it a worthwhile and healthy place to stay: 1. Shampoo your carpets. My bare feet were always black as I walked on the carpet. I wiped the carpet with one of the white towels and it came up black 2. Clean off the bathroom fan grill. It was caked and probably plugged 3. Wipe down all door knobs, remotes, tables, fridge doors and anything people touch all the time. I used a full bottle of germicide because I just felt that things were not clean 4. Found old food still in the freezer compartment of fridge Bottom line, get more than one person to clean the rooms because with all those rooms to do each day there is no way to clean them like they should be.
