We stayed here and everything worked out fine. They even have a pull out sofa which came in handy. I wish there was an ice machine in the hotel. Overall, a good place to stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I needed an iron board and the lady at the front desk got it for me immediately. Good location too. The Wi-Fi worked for me with no problems at all.

So I was a little worried when my company booked this hotel for me, I had read the reviews, some of which were "meh" others were… less than optimistic. So I didn't go into this in with the best state of mind. There were complaints of curry odors, which I never smelt (which is unfortunate, since I love curry), the rooms are actually quite nice. There's free Wi-Fi, they have plates and cooking utensils available at the lobby if you want to cook your own food (there is a small stove and microwave in the room), which is nice since you have a full size fridge and you can really save money if you're so inclined. I was on the first floor, it wasn't loud, the rooms are spacious, and we'll maintained. Would stay here again.

The laminate in the room advertises oatmeal and fruit for breakfast, but neither were available on the days I was there. The first thing I had to do was unplug the phone. Even on the hook it would not stop beeping with an off the hook sound. The bed was comfortable and sheets clean. Did not use the TV, but there were no obvious electrical sockets not used near the chair. The layout of the bathroom needs some reconsideration. In order to get into shower the door has to closed. To shut the door you need to stand between toilet and sink. The socket near the bed required a six foot cable to comfortable use an item while on the bed. Half of my Uber drivers could not find the building as it is hidden behind a pet hospital. Adding another entrance and a way to walk safely across the street, for food, will increase the appeal of this location. Other than crossing the street there are no places you can reasonably or safely reach on foot. There are other nearby Extended Stay with better local amenities.

Excellent helpful staff. Worth every minute. Great price. The environment is also very wonderfully quiet. I refer anyone to this hotel.

Pretty gross and scary. Toilet had an actual mildew ring and was microscopically small. I had to disassemble bed to get my cats on checkout. It's the old fashioned type of bed. Somebody kept trying to come into my room all night. It wasn't great at all. Single women should avoid, I felt unsafe and found the front desk minimized my safety concerns.

This is a basic extended stay hotel, decent sized rooms with a refrigerator, microwave, sink, and counter top in the kitchen area, love seat or recliner and a small desk near the bed. No fancy amenities, but they are truly pet friendly. I gave them five stars because of the kindness and understanding of the staff and manager. There is a specialty vet hospital next door where our very sick dog was for 5 days, and they allowed us to pay on a day by day basis, gave us a late check-out on the last day while we waited on one last blood test, and even a blanket for our sweet puppy to lay on when she finally got to come home! ❤️

It's not a grand entrance but its secluded from traffic that's next to the building. People are very kind there and very clean and peaceful!

Rooms were really comfortable and had good amount of space along with a decent kitchen to boot. The only thing was the staff which was times were rude. The location of the hotel was pretty decent too had a couple of restaurants nearby and was close to where I was working. Overall, it was a pretty good experience.

Clean, no bugs, reasonably smell free, quite friendly staff. Very small rooms. The closets are just indentations in the wall with a curtain over it. Hardly any clothes fit in the dresser. You have to request basic amenities like a plate and silverware. Extremely hard beds; I've had to line it with pillows to sleep and not wake up in extreme pain. The breakfast is poor. "Grab and Go" had no fruit as advertised, but also has been missing the high calorie muffins and granola the last few days… so basically no breakfast. It did it's job while I was moving to the area, but I will be glad to be gone.

Has an excellent experience at the Buffalo Grove Extended stay. Very nice, helpful staff, and clean rooms. Dylan at the front counter helped me in any way needed and directed me to good places to eat. Would recommend.

I've had nothing but a wonderful experience here at the Buffalo Grove location. I have had to live her for over a year and the staff have really made me feel like I'm at a Home. When in a predicament that lands you a place where you need to stay come here and you'll have yourself a home. The staff is beyond great as well as each one goes above and beyond what that really need to do.

For anyone looking for home away from home… this is it… staff and management are more than responsive… the whole environment is clean and pleasant.

I enjoyed staying at this location for 2 days. This location made me feel welcomed. Alanna and Dylan are so sweet and made me feel welcomed and were polite. I wish I can give this place more stars not only for the place but for the best costumer service!

I really like this hotel clean well maintained and the staff is excellent! I would recommend to anyone staying in the area… I would give more stars if possiable.

This place is disgusting, room had trash all over the floor, dust on tables, chair, counter tops, no towels. It looked like the room was never clean for months if not year. Don't waste time just look some place else.

Good if you do not want cleaning and good breakfast everyday. If staying only for 3 or 4 days, pay more and live at a better place.

My alarm clock didn't work the staff had one at my door in under 5 minutes… they have a great staff here! Made me feel like I was part of there family the second I walked in the door. It's a very clean hotel located in a very nice area… and it is next to a great fitness center!

Clean and in decent condition. Staff not helpful. No hangers in the room and told me they could not provide any. Breakfast is coffee, granola bars, and bagged mini muffins. No where to sit. No juice or fruit.

Wow! My boyfriend and I had an amazing experience here. The rooms are well kept and beautiful. Nashaly at the front desk exceeded our customer service expectations! She was extremely polite and accommodating. She went out of her way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Thank you to all of the staff at Extended Stay America! We will be back if and when we are in the area.

We stayed there for almost a year and it was a very clean room, very nice suite and very friendly staff, great location, great price, they need more cable channels and maybe a little faster internet. The gym in the next building is awesome, walking distance, they gave us a discount because of the extended stay.

Nice place to stay if booking from hotwire. Really cheap. I paid $39 for night.

Hotel has a few maintenance issues but the staff was friendly and took care of everything.

Second time trying to stay here at this hotel. First time, got to my room and the room had not been cleaned. Bed was slept in, garbage everywhere, and used linens. A house keeper came up to the room and cleaned it in front of me, and afterwards offered me the room free of charge. Now the second visit. I made a reservation and called to ask a few questions. I was told they actually don't have a room for my reservation as all the rooms were dirty, but did have a king bed room for an extra charge of $3. I told him that for the mistake of the hotel not cleaning the room, I should not have to pay extra money. The guy on the phone hung up on me, and never called back. I showed up anyways, and he told me that there were no rooms available. Very unhappy now, as he told me I have to find another hotel to stay at. Horrible customer service and a horrible hotel in general. Very dirty, unorganized, and a major inconvenience every time I stay here. Would not recommend to anyone to stay here. If I had the option for 0 stars I would give then a 0.

This hotel is thee dirtiest hotel I've ever been too! The comforter had stains on it! the tub was cleaned out! and they don't keep the tub they give you with dishes clean! not to mention when I was already checked in my first room and unpacked all my things they called my room and told me they had to move us because they weren't supposed to rent that room out so then we moved to a different room it stunk really bad! so we got switched to another room! by then I had had enough and booked a hotel room with my own company! worst hotel experience I've ever had.

No cold water for two days. Management unaware. No amenities. My stay got extended but I moved to another hotel.

I stayed here for a week in September 2013 and thought it was very nice for the price, and it's in a good central location. It's not a 5-star hotel, so don't expect anything fancy, but it was recently remodeled, so the rooms and the common areas are all clean and fresh-smelling. The rooms have comfortable beds; a small kitchenette with a counter or table and a bar stool or two; a nice-sized TV; and a desk. A free Wi-Fi connection was included, or you could upgrade to something faster. All of it was just what I needed in the evenings on my business trip. I liked the grab-and-go breakfast in the mornings. Nothing fancy, just coffee and a granola bar or muffin and a piece of fruit, but it was convenient. As a woman traveling alone, it was important to me to feel safe, and I did feel safe here. I plan to stay here again if I ever find the need.

This hotel is the best value in the area. It had free wireless and access to the gym next door. The hotel was clean and the desk staff was very friendly.

Pros: Courteous staff, Fitness center, Location Cons: Bad internet Connection (it really sucks), No Shuttle, sometimes hallway and elevator stinked, thin walls, badly maintained driveways (snow wasn't cleared) No DVD players, No good collection of DVDs.

Ok was so excited that the rates are super low, but i'm sorry to say you get what you pay for. I think instead of just lowering the rate to get as many people as possible, maybe they should work on training the staff better, or buying some sort of air freshener. When I complained about the smell, they said they would look into it and call back. I never heard from anyone again.
