I felt very welcome upon arrival and everything went very smooth! The front desk did everything she could. Unfortunately they did not have an extra pillow, or an iron in the room. The beds are very thin. There was very little water pressure when taking a shower. And the bathroom faucet made very strange noises when turned on. They did not provide pool towels. I was woke up at 745am to a weedeacker outside my door, and then the lawn mower. It was a weekday so its understandable but I am on vacation. So it would have been nice to sleep in. The room was painted very cute and the platform bed and no carpeting had a unique but clean feel about it.

It was a nice, comfortable room to stay 5 nights in a row in from July 10-14. With temps in the mid 90's all week, the AC worked great and kept the room nice and cold. If I'm back in the area, I would stay here again.

Coffee is good. Front Desk also well. But your internet is very poor. Almost can't work during my stay. No good bath tub stopper. Also your building looks shaky and was supported by wood stand. I hope they can improve next time I lodge there again. Thank you.

Had to pick up 2 dogs that were shipped via air from London so we wanted to stay in a safe area and fairly close to the airport. Room was clean and very basic. Mattresses were not as comfortable as the last few Motel6 we have stayed at, but not horrible. There were loud people both nights in the room next to us and above us. Police were at the motel both nights… 3am : ( Great restaurant next door. That certainly helped.

It does the job. Nothing fancy, but the room is clean and has a nice modern look. It could use some improvements though, like an iron, some extra pillows, shampoo and tissues.

Good for the price, but some issues. They wouldn't give us a do not disturb hanger, and house keeping came in when we requested they didn't. Wasn't told how to purchase Wi-Fi, and couldn't do it on line. Very bare bones room. Good for a night or two, but wouldn't book for a longer stay.

I regularly stay here because it’s so close to home. This is definitely the most clean motel 6 I have EVER been to. I have never seen any bugs and my room is always clean. The young man at the front Giovanni is always extremely helpful and friendly. I’m used to staying at places where the front staff is never friendly or inviting and he definitely takes that extra step to not only make you feel welcome but like you want to be there. I will continue to stay here. If you’re looking for a cheap place to say that’s clean and friendly this is definitely it.

To the manager of this branch, please check your staff; specifically one of your newer male employees. He is clearly making several accounts to write false reviews to praise his performance and his looks (which is seriously sad) and then post them on social media. Not only do they sound forced and absolutely ridiculous, he is speaking ill of the performance of other employees. If it doesn’t come from an actual client, it should not be tolerated. Period.

Clean rooms. Clean lobby. No roaches. No bed bugs. No rats. For a motel this is a prettty clean place. Not to mention the young Hispanic teen at the front is adorable and total eye candy. I’m definitely coming back and taking him back with me hahaha… overall good service!

My stay here was okay. It handled my basic need and that was sleep. The rooms were clean. I did appreciate the maid service. What I didn't like was that there was no refrigerator, no iron, or ironing board. Your out of town guests would really appreciate that. I'd recommend you all to someone that needs somewhere to stay for an overnight visit.

Please note that they don’t do hourly because I wanted to rent a room for three hours, but they didn’t have that offer. However, the front desk staff boy was very upbeat-friendly and it was Giovanni whom helped us during check in. My room was very clean and has a nice touch to it. I think if they did hourly it would have been perfect, but they are close.

I was lost on the road and I was looking for room prices for the future and I came in and a young man was very helpful, cheerful, and informative. He was kind enough to direct me to where I needed to go and was patient cause every motel front desk person is usually sour and mean but he upflited my mood. I ain’t didn’t get to stay the night but the lobby was very clean and it seemed nice I think I’ll definately get a room there within the next few weeks.

The price for this motel is definitely worth its service on a positive note, Giovanni was very friendly and helpful. The lobby was suprisingly clean and it smelled fresh which gave me a good impression. Although, I wish there was more amenenties, but this motel is very clean compared to ones I’ve been before. I would definitely consider staying here again.

The room was fine. I understand that it snowed a lot the preceding day, but I was very unhappy having to walk through all that snow in the parking area. When I showed up there was a truck with a plow parked in front of the building. I arrived Friday evening and when I left Sunday morning there had never been an attempt to remove the snow. You would think for your customers convenience and safety you would want to get the snow removed. I would not stay there again.

Room was nice and toasty when we arrived during the major cold weather storm. Although room was small for price we paid, and people next door argued all night keeping up awake to where my hubby even went to the head office to report. They broke the door handle and all, and all motel 6 wanted to do was reemburst us 1/2 our cash back. We should of gotten it all. Have also found 6 roaches small to medium in size in the bathroom area. I personally won't stay anymore at this location. Also you only have 2 options for water, vol and scalding. Poor water pressure.

This is your typical rundown, hooker motel. We have visited quite a few times & it's more of a quickie place for us than a whole nighter/weekend getaway. The rooms are small. No carpets in the room & the streaks look ugly on the floor. The walls are fairly thin and being right off of a busy road, you constantly hear the traffic flowing by. It is good in a pinch but better options are out there.

Very nice for a motel. My first time having to stay in one due to an emergency. Very inexpensive. Bright colors and clean.

When I got into my room it was dark and warm. The phone did not work I was trying to call front desk on my cell phone n they were not picking up the phone. I got a room for 2 people me and my girlfriend for New Years n there was only 1 towel. I walked out into the cold to go get a couple towels n they didn’t even have any towels for me. My experience at this motel 6 was horrible. I don’t know if I will ever return to this motel 6 again. Only reason I went was because it is 7 minutes from my house. Next time I’ll get a different motel or hotel. I was at my room for 20 min and some stranger came up to my door asking me to sell him one of my bottles of tequila and when I mentioned it to the front desk she did nothing to check on it or see why strangers are going to door to door asking for liquor.

I have been to other motel 6 in the past, I had a terrible experience at this hotel. The toilet was clogged when I arrived to my room and the guy that works night shift was extremely rude and accused me of stealing toilet paper, come on really? Since he didn't fix the problem, I offered to plunge it myself, which I shouldn't have to do in the fist place! He would not offer the plunger accusing me I might steal that too. So finally he put me in another room that smelled awful of cat urine and the heat wasn't working, so on to another room that still smelled awful! After all this I am paying a lot of money for this room and you can't even give me a little bottle of shampoo? There was a sliver of soap that you couldn't even shower with it, it was so small! I asked for more soap and he wouldn't give it to me. The bathroom was dirty! The bed sheets were stained, gross! I asked for new sheets and the guy gave them to me but again it was an inconvience for him and was rude again. And no place to put your clothes. The receptionist didn't offer a refund. I will never be back!

The room was nice the tub wasn't as clean as it should have been. I have stayed at other Motel 6 locations which I would return to in a heart beat. But the Villa Park location well I don't think I would return to this one.

Pulling up to the location was not a good experience. Very run down. Lobby looked great. Staff very friendly. Stairs closest to our room were locked so we had to walk the entire length of the hotel to get to our room which was inconvenient with our luggage. The floors were starting to lift in the room. Curtain was broke and didn't cover the entire window. One of the beds sheets was dirty or stained but it was gross. The closet is non existing had a dress to hang and it didn't fit. Was only able to get 3 or 4 things on the pole. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was nice. Liked the idea of no dresser, who uses it anyway. Maybe a low bench of some kind to set luggage on would be great though. Didn't like the idea of setting everything on the floor.

Where do I begin! Just do yourself a favor and skip this motel. The bed is as comfortable as a couple of sheets of plywood stacked on top of each other. The wood floors were filthy. If you like black feet after getting out of the shower this is the place for you. The cold water didn't work in the sink in the bathroom and shower head sprayed more water behind it than on you. When you ask the front desk to look at these items they huffed and acted like you were bothering them. Management at this motel is very rude.

It was fine for a budget hotel… a decent place to sleep. It was clean, the mattress was acceptable and the staff were pleasant. The main problem was the poor Wi-Fi… the signal was frequently dropped… lots of waiting. This really should be improved. I'd also include it in the price… everybody else does. It wasn't expensive but was annoying to pay for poor servce. Also, less important, it was impossible to raise the TV volume high enough for our old ears. It was probably set up that way to deter noisy clients. Thank you.

The room was in great condition. It was very clean and appeared to be newly remodeled. I was impressed when I walked in the door. It was not what I was expecting. I would recommend to anyone looking for a great deal and good service. I needed to get away and have some alone time with God. This provide the perfect spot.

When I stayed at Motel 6 over the summer I was very impressed with the room and the customer service. I would consider motel 6 a very kid friendly and affordable motel. It was also in a great location where there were plenty of restaurants and attractions for our vacation.

I stayed at motel 6 years ago. But I recently stayed there and they have upgraded tremendously the rooms were nice… also the receptionist Robin was very nice and made me feel welcome… I will definitely visit again!

I had a good time staying at your hotel. The time I checked in was very helpful. Robin is very friendly and explained everything to me. It wasn't until my second night stay when I called the front desk 3 Times looking for an extra pillow and blanket. I was told by the person working he would go see if he can fine any and call me back. That never happen. We had feel asleep because I got tried of calling the front desk. Other then that my stay was very nice. I would stay there again. Just make sure I bring my own blankets and pillows.

The room was not really like the picture and there was no free Wi-Fi when most hotels you stay at offer it for free. We also paid almost $90 so I feel it should have not been aditional.

I Stayed with my 7 year old grandson in a double "Kid Friendly" room. Clean room with a nice layout. The Motel is located with easy access to the main road. Friendly & professional staff. Great parking & great restraunts nearby. I Highly recommend Motel 6 for the $ value.

Close to a road and 3 mile from the train station to Chicago. Next to a great family restaurant, perfect place to have a big breakfast. Motel has an outdoor pool. Room not clean. Disappointed. Left and got money back.

This hotel is really clean, nice, newly remodeled and in a great location. Some of the staff are wonderful, friendly, and very courteous. Particularly the lady with the long dark curly hair who seems to work mid day. However, there are people who work the desk who regard us with suspicion and act as if they are doing us a favor to wait on us. I have been forced to live temporarily in a hotel while trying to find an apartment. This is a stressful and expensive experience. I have two jobs, one of them in the service industry where tips are the main portion of my income. I am paying for my room day to day in the morning, because I am hoping to find a permanent place to live soon. I think because I pay with cash sometimes, the morning desk person finds me suspicious. I understand, but she can keep the suspicious attitude to herself and remain professional, I am paying a ton of money to stay here for so long and I haven't done anything wrong or even suspicious aside from paying in cash. She sometimes is more interested in explaining to me what she is doing and why instead of just doing it. She also insisted that housekeeping come to the room one day, because some guests trash the rooms and it is too hard on the cleaning staff to service the rooms after long stays. She said it was a "newer company policy. " It's nice to know that the assumption is that the guests are pigs and that the needs of the cleaning staff come before the privacy of the guests staying there.

The wireless access is deplorable. If you want to use anything that requires wireless access to the Internet make sure you bring your phone or a Mi-Fi because it's not here. Also, is it just me or shouldn't a motel have a mini-fridge and a functional microwave? This is the 22nd century and these things are a necessity for anyone traveling or having to stay at a motel for an evening or two. Just my opinion at least.

The room was not cleaned well. Found dirty used paper towel under the ice bucket. Very disappointed.

Just awful they charge you to have a microwave! Plus really dirty and just terrible.

Motel 6 is very good place sleeping in the night. But, it doesn't have internet and kitchen for the guest. So, if you want to come, keep in mind for those privileged.

Fine so far. Although this Motel boobsjapanese those sixes, where they lived before. Well, Yes by car everywhere is good. Of course, it's better than to invest at least $200-250 for the center. Not enough green notes.

This is a good property with plenty of places around to get food beer whatever you think that you need. There is truck parking and the people are very friendly. I wasn't happy with the room because there was no place to put anything. Their new renovation took down all the dresser space and there's no place to rest room to put your stuff. I also don't like that there's no microwave in the lobby. All in all it's not a bad stop to somebody needs to put a little more love in the property.

My Wife and I use Motel 6 all of the time for our frequent travels. We attended 2 Cubs games this past weekend and stayed overnight Friday, Sept. 18th. 2015. We had phoned ahead, made Handicap, Non-smoking room reservations on the ground floor. We stayed in Room 137 and found the room to be VERY clean, Great bed and everything to be in working order. We did not check in until 9PM, they held our room using a charge card. Ate a lovely dinner at Simons right next door. No problems of any kind. Also, we go frequently to the VA Hosp. In Hines, Il. So we will be booking stays again here at this facility.

I did not like anything about this rat infested motel… I called the front desk and told them that there was rats running around in the parking lot & trying to get under my room door because there was a big gap in the door and his response was "oh yeah they be in the grass" so your telling me you know you have rats in your guest rooms and you guys can not get someone to get rid of them… this motel is not cleaned its very dirty and do they know that rats carry all kind of diseases and then after I told them about their rats I had to go out and buy stuff to keep the rats away from my room because I had my 2 kids (15 & 8 months) with me because I refuse to let my children get bitten by a rat then I went to the front desk they had the nerves to tell me that I had to check out by 12… theyre mad because I expose them to people by putting my rat traps by my front door but I will not stop at this review I will be calling corporate and the board of health because this is ridiculous and while I stayed here for only a week I seen nothing about prostitution & a lot of drug dealing going on and I have contacted the authorities so they are investing this hotel but from what they told me they were already investigating this motel anyway because they have have a lot of calls and complaints and the rooms had a very bad odor even after I bleached it down and everything this place needs to be closed down for good.

I had stayed in Motel 6 before and the upgrades compared to the conditions a few years ago are not bad, although the room prices are also much higher. However, it didn't really feel safe (although this may be a rather subjective statement) and the internet was terrible, even though I paid $4.99 for the "fast" service. It is a bit surprising that at this day and age it is not simply included in the package, especially since the rooms are expensive for the quality and spaced offered. As a result, I lost an entire night's worth work I had to do on my laptop. I was just too tired to move to another hotel. The stuff was friendly, they reimbursed the $4.99 no questions asked, but that wasn't much help. I found a very nice hotel room on Orbitz for the next night, and had to pay only $7 or $8 more for twice as much space, higher quality service, free internet, breakfast and safer location. Henrik.

Overall I like the their interior design of their room and its spaciousness. The representatives were polite but not very informative or in sync with the accuracy of the information given. It's pet friendly and the housekeeping personnel is so kind and courteous. Noise level on two of the days from other guests partying was a little loud however, other than that our experience was pleasant.

This Motel 6 is one of the worst motels Ive ever stayed at. Not only was the staff rude and disrespectful it also came included with people setting off my car alarm throughout the night. Be aware! You get what you pay for at this place.

Super clean but small. Seems very safe. Don't hesitate to bok a room here if you want to save your hard earned money.

The night clerk on Wed and Thurs night, July 23rd and 25th, was not friendly and he was lazy. I checked in on Wed night and did not bother anyone or ask for anything while I was there, with one exception. I asked him upon checkin for an extra blanket. He never looked nor did he try and get me one. His response exactly was, " We don't have any". The hotel was not full and for gosh sakes you are a hotel, a place where people sleep and you don't have any? Really? I believe whole heartedly that he was too lazy to get me one. I simply thanked him and went to my room. The next night, I went to my room and my key was deactivated. OK, no big deal, I know this can happen with the magnetic strip. I go to the front desk and get my room key reactivated. While I was there I again asked the same clerk for an extra blanket. I got the exact same response as before, " We don't have any" with the added response of, " you should of asked housekeeping earlier. First of all, I got up very early before housekeeping even started and came back late after they were gone. So, does that mean that you do have blankets? If not, what difference would it have made to ask housekeeping. I don't believe for one second that he did not have access to the housekeeping room to get me a blanket. Also, why did he not leave a note for housekeeping to leave one in my room the next day as a good customer service response, since he was too lazy to get me one?
