Very clean room me and my fiancée stayed he over the memorial day weekend, 25 min commute to downtown Chicago, jerrell who works at the front dest when I checked in was very nice and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a pretty basic, low-cost hotel, so my rating is based on that (comparing apples to apples, as they say). The really great thing about this location is the STAFF. They were all friendly and helpful. When we checked in, Keith gave us instructions for parking near the elevator because I have bad knees and then he hand-wrote directions to the Shedd Aquarium for us. In the morning, the staff let us leave a few items at the hotel while we went site seeing, and we picked them up in the afternoon on our way out of town. This is the kind of service that will definitely bring me back to this location if I'm ever staying in Chicago again. The room, sheets, and towels were clean. Towels were higher quality than I expected. Free (wired) internet in the rooms, free Wi-Fi in the lobby. Breakfast was acceptable. Unlike one previous reviewer, I did find the cream cheese for my bagel; it's in the small fridge along with the hard boiled eggs and the yogurt. The neighborhood of this location felt safe and was very convenient. We had plenty of options for dinner even though we were eating a bit on the late side. We didn't go to Denny's, but it's right next door and gives a discount to La Quinta guests.

Our stay at the oak brook Terrace was very accommodating. Our rooms were very clean and bathroom very up to date. The service was great and everyone was very friendly. The breakfast bar was greatly appreciated and convenient.

The hotel was very clean and modern. The rooms were nice and provided many outlets to charge all of your gadgets. The staff was courteous and helpful. My only very tiny complaint was the breakfast. I don't need it to be fancy, but if you offer bagels you had better have cream cheese!

Very courteous and and the staff puts you at ease. Accommodations a little difficult here, the microwave, ice machine, etc are located in lobby. Great Wi-Fi access and speed. The grounds and rooms are well kept and clean. All of this with a super affordable price.

I really enjoyed my stay at La Quinta. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was good. It was within walking distance of a Denny's and we got 20% off by showing our hotel key. I will definitely stay at this hotel again!

I checked in and out of the hotel a few hours ago and decided to drive home instead. There were ants in the bathroom and (what I believe to be) bed bugs in the room. YUCK! I'm ichy and paranoid that they're embedded in my belongings. The only plus was a refund. Unreal.

Our stay was very pleasant, room service was friendly and the breakfasti items were satisfactory, the entire stay was good. Since our diet is limited having the microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker was convenient to keep our own snacks, we will use facility again. Didn't get to use the pool, it was chilly at times.

Decided to rent a room for my daughter's birthday. Um the pool was small and ice cold. The fitness room is not as glamorous as they boast about. The hotel allows crack heads there, its a view you get from the pool. Not a place for your kids. The best part was sitting in the parking lot to have drinks. Waste of $$$$$$$

The staff was friendly, even at 8:15 when they woke us up asking if we needed room service. Didn't know places still did that. At first the bed looked slanted down towards the wall. So your head is lower than your feet. The fridge had a pool of sludge in the corner. There was a spiderweb in the window that could catch a small bird. The floors are not clean. on the bright side the bed was decent. And there is an amazing thai place near here.

No complaints. Our room was clean. Pool was nice but small.

Worst hotel experience I ever had. They didn't have rhe room we booked to stay, then offer us different room with roll away bed. It was late at night only one night to stay so we accepted. The room had half eaten rotten strawberries and dirty laundry from previous guests so we asked for a room change and had to carry our roll away bed by our self because they didn't have anyone to help us. don't stay at this hotel.

Pros: customer service, clean, safe, pet friendly Cons: needs updated mattresses, carpet, and bathrooms. Also breakfast was pretty terrible.

Spent a couple of days and the AC was not working good and they did not fix it or change me to another room. Did not like the service at all.

Great location and price! Stayed two nights and will be back on future Chicago visits.
