Schiller Park motel 6 was very dirty, I had to clean the room myself just for my family to feel comfortable. The smell was horrible even after I cleaned and placed air fresheners in the room. The entire room was so humid from the air conditioner that everything was wet. Electrical cords to lights were broken and a very big danger. There was mold behind the toilet next to the shower. I was also charged $74 after being told it costed $65 a night. Very bad experience. I checked out early after I paid for two nights. Very bad experience!

Would like it if you had a microwave and a small fridge to the rooms. Overall we really liked our room. It was clean and smells good when we entered. The lady at the front desk was really nice. Really affordable price. Would recommend this place to my families and friends and will come back here for our next trip to Illinois. Thank you. Keep up the great work.

Our door cards had to reset daily. Very irritating. Room was NEVER serviced. No towwl exchanges even. Room and entire motel really was in very poor upper condition. Water pressure VERY POOR — a small trickle really. I definitely do not recommend this motel.

The staff really try their best and stay positive under sometimes tough customers & I applaud them for that. The room was good for what it was. Although there were ants present on the floor and also my key kept on losing it's magnetization even when I didn't accidentally put it near my phone. Oh, and the bathroom floor could have looked cleaner and the toilet seat needed to be much less shaky to the point it felt like it would have come off. My Room was 102.

The first room I was given the toilet backed up so we were moved to a different room. The new room was comfortable the first night. My husband & I decided to stay a second night and the lady from housekeeping knocked on the door and before I could answer her she opened the door and I was naked. Then as we were heading out for the day housekeeping asked if I needed anything I asked her to make our beds and leave clean towels. She left us towels but only made 1 of the 2 beds that was in our room. I asked the front desk for sheets and after waiting 20 min in the lobby I was given sheets but no fitted sheet. When my husband went to make the bed we saw a bug on the bed. We managed to get it but was uneasy the rest of the night. When I checked out I told the lady what happened and she gave me one night free. I was satisfied with that. I will still stay at motel 6.

I was not happy with the fact that once I reached the hotel I was quoted a price way higher they want they told me it was going to be when I made the reservation. I was told a total of $158 and some odd cents. And when I got there it ended up being over $90 a night. Since I did not have my confirmation number with me there was nothing I could do about it. When I got home I checked my paper that has a total and it was only supposed to be 70 something a night for total of 15841. I feel like I got ripped off for that extra money and they need to work on being a little bit more consistent with their pricing. My room had loose Outlets with the electrical plate hanging off the wall I was scared to plug my phone in. There was a giant Gap around my door or light came in which means so did the cold weather. The towels and wash cloths were in very bad condition with threads hanging off of them all the way around the edge. When I went to take a shower there there was long black hair all over in the bathtub which proves to me that no one clean the bathtub before they gave me the room. I would stay there again because of the convenience, I was going to the Donald Stephens Convention Center. But I will probably want to look at the room first before I move all of my stuff into it. I will also make sure I take my confirmation number with me the next time so that there is not any confusion in the price.

The only thing I liked was the cleanliness because the service is horrible.

The employees were great! They're very friendly and very accommodating. The door to our room (172) appeared to have been busted into at some point because the mechanism inside the door jam to lock the door was gone and there was nothing but a large square hole there and the door did not close completely… You could see outside and the door rattled every time an airplane went over the hotel. I think people wouldn't mind the fact that the hotel is not in such a good area if either the prices for just a bed, a TV and a bathroom were a little lower… Some people don't mind the bare minimum. But, I also think that people wouldn't mind paying the $90 a night if the rooms had a mini fridge, microwave and a coffee machine either. Truly the best thing your motel has going for it is your staff!

The rooms were very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this motel to anyone. Next trip to Chicago, I will definitely stay again. Thanks to the staff for being so friendly and helpful.

The staff here is awesome they are straight homies! Friendliest and most helpful staff I’ve come across and I’ve stayed at places at least 3x more expensive than this. 10/10 would recommend!

Lovely motel, super clean, modern and comfortable for travellers on a budget. Whitney and Alex are the most friendly, helpful front desk staff ever! Good location near Rosemont and Ohare. So happy I stayed here, would definitely return!

We checked in at 10:30 p. M. And we were very tired. The check in with smooth and easy. I think that for the room size and what you get for the room it was expensive. There was no soap shampoo or lotion provided in the room like any other room. Lights didn't Work when you 1st walk in had to a plug them in. In the morning I Tried calling the front desk, but the phone didnt work. Room was way too small for 2 Beds. My bed was so close to the heater that it was touching. I feel like no air was going through it was so hot in the bed but it was cooler on the other side so was very uncomfortable. Over all it was a good stay just little things that should be addressed.

The place is basic, which is not the problem. It's fine to stay for a night, but I wouldn't stay longer. If you do, take anything the least bit important with you and don't leave anything you may want to keep throughout your stay, such as food. Housekeeping came in while I was out, picked up my used towels and threw out a box of pizza I was eating out of. I've stayed in the past without problems, but they were only for a night. I stayed two nights this time. Prices are decent and cheapest I could find in the area.

For being so close to the airport, it was pretty lit relaxing. Aside from hearing the occasional plane, it was mostly quiet around the area. The price was reasonable, something you would pay for a basic motel. We had four people stay in a double bed. The only problem that we had was not receiving enough towels for everyone. When asked for more towels the first night, the response was only if they had any. Well, apparently they didn't have any. If we would have kept bothering them, I'm sure we would have gotten what we needed. It was a great place to stay if you only needed to sleep for the night. The TV amenity was nice.

Had a great experience at this hotel. Clean room. Afforable prices. Close to airport. Melissa at the front desk was more than helpful with getting us local info and places to see. Highly recommended.

Very clean the place and we got out of a rush X that we could pay with cash.

Everything was great except my sheets were pretty damp. I reported this to to the front desk and was helped by a very nice young man. He said that this is what has been happening with the dryers. Either that or they are not letting them fully dry in the clothes dryer. I did not have a option. The young man at the front desk was very nice. Not his fault by any means.

I like to stay at this hotel because they are pet friendly. The services are good. The people in the front desk is so nice. I will recommend this hotel in the near future. Keep up the good work.

I often stay here cause of work. They are always accommodating and very polite. KIM is my favorite person at the front desk, although I can't say anything bad about any of the people. The rooms are usually clean, although if I'd say something negative some rooms have dripping water. And finally there is food and drink around, even in walking distance if you want that.

Had a great stay. Staff was friendly and took concerns seriously. Kim went above and beyond when I checked in so I could be close to friends who were also staying there. However my room did not get cleaned on Sat and I got no clean towels.

Very close to the airport, a Dennys n restaurant a few meters away, shopping center 10 minutes walk. Clean rooms, friendly staff.

On our second night we were awakened around 3 a. M. By a pounding/ knocking sound from above. We heard this for over an hour before I called the front desk. Reached for the beside phone and it did not work. So I had to get my cell phone, step outside so not to disturb my daughter any further and call. Around 4:20 a. M. I spoke with Michelle. I told her of the situation. It sounded as if someone was wrestling /fighting. (Thumping continued until after 5. ) She said she could not call the police because I suspected a fight. I never asked for that. But what I did ask was if she could send an employee to investigate. She refused to do that. She lamely offered to move us to another room that would have been just as inconvenient. (2nd floor Non — smoking) I am a disabled veteran who has difficulty on stairs due to physical issues. Also a guest who overheard my conversation with Michelle stated the noise woke him and his wife who were on their 1st anniversary trip, and he was on the second floor. I was tired the entire day because I had been woken up at 3, then had to deal with the incompetence of the staff. Needless to say we LOST 4 hours of sleep and still had to function the rest of the day and evening. It truly threw a damper on my daughter's birthday celebration. The situation frustrated me a bit considering I prefer motel 6 and use you often. This location is one of your lowest standard ones and I would not recommend this location.

— Mosquito in the room, front desk was nice enough to change the room. — key card didn't work and the front desk instructed us to keep away from cell phone and credit card, but still didn't work. — House keeping cleaned the washroom only once in 5 days. — Internet, they ask extra money for it. Seems like they are living in stone age. Chicago has free Wi-Fi in malls, restaurants — but not at Motel6. This policy should be changed effective immediately. — Washroom exhaust didn't work, got fixed third day. — Washroom sink is outside; using the sink at night time will wake the other family members up.

The motel location was a convenient one for a nearby convention so I appreciated that. When we got there though we were told the rooms wouldn't be ready until nearly into the evening leaving us to drag around our bags after getting off a train. However they were able to get a room ready within the next couple hours. The room was adequate. It wasn't overly dirty and the bed was fine enough. It did what it needed to for our short stay.

A nice and clean room. I enjoyed my stay. It's right next to the airport so you hear planes taking off every minute thought through the day and night but other than that it was worth the price.

I loved this hotel. Its proximity to the Chicago airport and the reception of the staff.

Motel not good, not very clean and most of all not complying with Motel 6 standards.
Better to avoid this motel, probably not properly cared for by the staff.
Go to some other city Motel 6.

We enjoyed our stay. The room felt safe and was very clean. Very nice TV in the room and the staff was very friendly. The young man who checked us in recommended the best pizza ever. He Went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The woman was very friendly and helpful as well.

For the price, location and the amount of time of my stay, I give it 4 stars. It was the cheapest I could find, that was in walking distance of where I needed to be. I staid for one night with my husband, as we prepared for a ceremony in the morning. There's a Denny's next door currently, not too bad of an on-the-go breakfast! The Motel 6 looked clean, but smelled not-so-clean. I asked for a non-smoking room, and when I walked in my room, I got hit in the face with like, 10 cigarettes-worth of smoke stank. No me gusta. Also, we paid for the Wi-fi, and after spending about 20 minutes on the phone with customer service, I gave up. The Wi-fi signal was picking up, but no connection. I know it wasn't my laptop as it is less than a year old and works great. It's a good thing I didn't count on having to do any work that night. However, they did refund me the Wi-fi amount. It'll take days to drop back into my account, but whatever. Other than that, it wasn't a bad experience at all. I recommend Motel 6 to anyone in need of a quick night's sleep without spending more for less.

The hotel is located in best close to the airport what you also hear and approx. 1 hour from Chicago away city centre. The bus service to the nearest train station are difficult to plan something and need travel time often up to half an hour. The rooms where clean and the staff is pleasant.

Location is walkable from the Rosemont blue line cta station (about 30 min), or it's a quick Uber ride. Rooms were clean and service was good, but you get what you pay for. No shampoo or conditioner in the shower and the shower drain was mildly clogged and drained slowly. Otherwise, no major complaints and a good budget option for lodging in Chicago near the airport.

Always go to this motel for the anime convention in may. It's usually pretty good and they finished remodeling, it's nice!

Reasonably clean room. The toilet was leaky. Have to pay for Wi-Fi. Can hear flights taking off from ohare very well.

Needed a place to stay last minute. Had a very particular situation that required me and and my girlfriend to leave our luggage somewhere. I was upset to find that we had to pay $75 to keep it there for 3 hours (especially considering that the advertised price on the billboard was $59). It would have been nice if something could've been worked out so that we could keep our stuff there without having to pay as an overnight guest. A discounted rate even? Nope. Aside from that hiccup, the gentleman helping us was very well mannered. Room was clean and obviously remodeled. Don't go in expecting A+ service and a lux hotel. That's all I gotta say.

This motel is located within short walking distance from Donald E. Stephens Convention Center and Rosemont CTA station. Taxi from O'Hare Airport was some $14.

Horrible place. Rude staff. Stay away. We checked in at 3 am and room was dirty and smells bad. So we asked to change room or give us a refund and they refused to do that cause that was the last room and refund they do only in a morning. When I got there in the morning a person at the front desk was ignoring me for about 15 minutes, when I asked her about a refund she called police. Very bad experience. Don't do other mistakes. Stay away!

The staff was very nice and friendly. The room was better than it was prior to remodeling. However, the bed was so much more uncomfortable than I recall. Smh Horrible night's sleep!

Do not listen to the bad reviews**** this is a great motel 6! staff is friendly, rooms are clean, and theres restaurant, and stores right across the street! ive stayed here multiple times, it is safe and a nice part of town. And the rooms are new.

Room was clean and comfortable. Discount rates, does not include Wi-Fi or even shampoo in room. Front Desk service is professional and efficient. Location convenient. Parking adequate, except far end of the building against "fence. "

I had no issue here, you get what you pay for. Rooms were very clean and I even encountered the manager and he was friendly and helpful as was the rest of the staff. I mentioned that there are some bad reviews on Google and Expedia and almost booked somewhere else and was told there wasn't much they could do but educate people. I asked what that meant and was told they don't have a shuttle and are not located next to a super 8 for starters. The manager said I should look past the "most helpful" reviews and instead read all of the reviews since they seem to offer a true look at the place. All in all I'm happy I stayed although the airplane noise was a bit loud.

This was the worst motel experience I've ever had. Ive stayed at cheaper motels before but this was the worst. There was railing that was broken with orange tape covering the empty spots. Very dangerous for children. We couldn't find our room because the number layout was all over the place. Most rooms were accessible from the outside balcony, except for one block of rooms where ours was. Finally we figured out we had to go in a door and then up stairs inside the little hallway to a door that led to a separate outdoor balcony where additional rooms were. We tried to open the door and the key didn't work. We walked all the way back to the lobby on the other side of the motel, got different keys, and the second set didn't work. All of that took about 25 minutes. Then we went back to the lobby and asked for a refund. The person did not know how to do a refund and that process took and additional 30 minutes. It was a terrible place and I would highly recommend spending the extra $20 to go to the comfort inn which was extremely nice and comfortable with free breakfast.

I have stayed roughly 6 times over the past 8 years. I prefer spending $55 over $200-350 a night when I am in or near Chicago on business. The sound insul for the jets is okay, I am not a light sleeper. The room interiors are clean and tight. The exterior has degraded over those 8 years. But there are 4 bus routes that can get you up and back to/from the CTA Blue Line Rosemont station 2 miles up the road, so as to make gettin to/from O'Harte non-stop or into the city center 19 stops (well under an hour) on an unlimitted Day pass ($10 a day) an excellent value. I'll stay there again, because its value is very good, and I don't blame any problem with my credit cards on other people and don't expect to become friends with people just doing thier jobs (ie other irrate reviews). Don't go! Directly under aircraft flight lines. You can hear them like we're outside. Very very noisy. Television has been. Staff not friendly.
We booked on the Internet two nights (27 and 28) — Arrival on site we find that the room is small and that the noise of the planes is infernal. The Wi-Fi is paying. We ask to cancel the night of the 28th. We go to the Motel6 of Elk Grove Village to book the Night of the 28th. There, the receptionist gets the wrong date and enrolled us for the 27th without anyone noticing. On the 28th we present ourselves and despite the fact that we paid 89 dollars and the housekeeping staff said that we had not occupied the room, we are obliged to rent a new one (50 dollars more). We were told that the guest relations would reimburse us, but apparently this will not be the case and we will be for our money. We are very very unhappy and will not recommend this chain of HOTELS.

No smoking room but strong cigarette smell. The smell impregnated all the clothes even in the bags.
We hear a lot of planes (anticipate earplugs)
The advantage is the very low price.
