Tried to return a phone call to a family member. The disrespect person who answered the phone, would not connect me because I didn't know the room number. Then she said that there was no one there by that name & hung up on me. I called back & she hung up on me. This was a family member who was staying there just for the purpose to commit suicide. REALLY! Now I know why you only have a 2.9

At first I was worried what the rooms would be like from what the outside looked like but really the room was nice and big. Had a fridge and microwave. Bed was comfy could get some different pillows but really the room was nice.

We have stayed here numerous times because of its location close to my daughter's home. True, this is an older budget hotel, so don't expect fancy or new. This time I requested a room in the same building as the office. We had a room in this building for our first stay and liked it much better than when given one in the building south of it. They accommodated my request and we found the room immaculate. In fact, I thought it had recently been repainted and newly carpeted — it was that fresh — but was told no, it is just being kept that well by the new owner.

Customer service is horrible, meth pipe on the sidewalk, Fist fight in the parking lot between a prostitute, a pimp, and a customer. None of the rooms have a working phone to call the front desk, one of our trucks got damaged by someone trying to break in it. The sheets are too small for the mattresses, microwave and fridge didn't work. And when you complain to the front desk all they do is give you attitude. Or say they will handle it but then conveniently forget. And when you remind them, they give you more attitude. You barely get enough towels and have to remind them how many people are in the room. The rooms were halfway cleaned. And the first room the gave us was being used by someone else. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Crowded lobby and very loud. Clearly price gauging due to the holiday weekend as I was asked to pay for a 4 star hotel rates for a very old and run down property. I would suggest you keep going down the rode.

The Rodeway in Saint Charles has fairly clean rooms, but no microwave or fridge. More importantly than that though they apparently don't care about your sleep or privacy. At 7 AM a man with the motel came knocking at our door and when we didn't immediately answer he just opened it himself and started saying "Hellloo? ". If the door hadn't had the deadbolt locked I'm not sure if he wouldn't have just walked in. He wanted to see a drivers licence and it wasn't even check out time, nor were we checking out.

BEWARE, BED BUGS! Check in went great, super cheap and I now see why. My boyfriend and I went to sleep, woke up itching and started the search. It took like 2 seconds too find one, then we lifted the sheet and there were more. By this time I'm taking photos and video for proof. I called the front desk and the MANAGER tells me there is nothing he can do and NO REFUNDS, I showed the videos and pictures and he said you are not getting your money back very stern… So I have have contacted KSDK and they are launching an investigation, save yourself and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Bathrooms Need To Be Improved Or Cleaned Better, The Bedding Should Be Changed Everytime Someone Leaves I Left For A Night Then Came Back And Got The same Room With The Same Sheets I Knew Because There Was Still A Orange Stain On the Sheets From A Drink I Had… I suggest Completely Stripping Your Bed Before You Leave The Inn. Otherwise Great Staff And Nice Size Room.

Decent enough for a 2 star motel. The motel complex was quite large and the rooms had two queen beds and a chair. While the room felt a little bit small, it seemed relatively comfortable. Road noise was noticeable though. Didn't get a good look at the bathrooms. Breakfast was coffee only, so that's a strike.

My wife and I loved the room. We were in for a wedding and this room was perfect. King size bed, super comfy. I would suggest bringing extra pillows. Parked right outside the room. Super convenient. Overall great room, great price.

No microwaves or refrigerator in rooms… their explanation as to why was "They are phasing them out all together. " Maybe they should reduce the cost of someone's stay for the inconvenience!

The first room we had did not lock, and the room was dirty, but we were able to get a different room and upgraded to a bit nicer one. Not the best hotel but the service was very polite and they were eager to solve our problem.

I come here because I'm not keen on spending $100+ for one night stay very often. However I may have to suck it up and do so. Every time I come here there's something off with the room. This time I had only 2 pillows (for a king size bed) no towel, the heater when blowing smelled of mildew. Last time I was here I had no microwave/refrigerator (standard in king rooms) did not complain probably would have been more hassle than its worth. I just may not return.

I wouldnt give them any stars. Me and my family stayed for a few days while waiting to get into our apartment. That's why I was looking for some less expensive. But this a sleezy cheap hotel the cleaning people are terrible there all foriegn I think illegal probably, they dont clean at all ive found half smoked cigarettes in the room, blood all over the walls? And also a syringe and I really doubt it was for a legitimate medical need. We asked for a room with a microwave and a fridge which is advertised, we were told they didn't know which room had it. So I guess there's only one? Do not bring your family here this place is for drug addicts and prostitutes I couldnt get my family out quick enough.

Very quiet and clean. Staff is friendly. Tons of free parking.

Place is nasty. Bugs in rooms. Management is terrible. Don't count on a good night sleep due to the partying. My kid found drug paraphernalia in front of the room next door. Rooms are small.

The foreign woman was very rude. The hotel is run down but expected for the price. There were ample vacancies but they placed us right next to a single woman (we warned the front desk that we have an obnoxious child). Surprise… noise complaint… They asked us to leave when they saw a cot in our room for our little one. The dryer is awesome though.

The room is absolutely gross and not as advertised — there is no mini fridge or microwave and the room is not even close to clean. There are what appear to be boogers stuck to the bathroom wall, the sheets are stained, and the shower floor is clearly dirty. I expect some level of disrepair and old carpet, comforters, etc from a motel at this price point, so those things don't bother me, just the yicky parts. Roadway Inns are usually a clean, nice place to stay. Not sure what the deal is with this spot.

Creepy hotel! I Do NOT recommend staying here. I checked out and got a refund immediately. Hotel was basically deserted. Ashtray in room. Property smelled. Barely any light in room. Not worth the few dollars in savings. Overall very dirty property and did not feel safe at all.

Our room was supposed to be the best one they had. There was still food in the fridge, odd splatters on the flickering wall light and the tile was all loose in the bathroom with most of the grout missing. Other then that the bed, rug, furniture were clean and the room was bug free.

Do not let the price of this place put you off! The room, bathroom, and sheets were clean. Came with a mini fridge and microwave. Now this is a basic no frills hotel but I would definitely stay here again!

There was an ice storm the caused myself and my fiance the net a place to stay overnight so we decided to stay at the roadway in because of the competitive prices and the photos that we've seen on the internet when we got there however it was a total different story the room was trashed there's burn marks all over the room there was bits of metal on the floor and I decided not to complain about it, I had no intentions on asking for a refund up until the of the following morning when I went to use the restroom I noticed that the light was flickering in the bathroom so I tapped on it to see if I could get it to stop and was struck in the head with a hypodermic needle luckily for me the cap was on the hypodermic needle because by the looks of it it had every disease possible. When I told the receptionist about it she was very kind and offered to come down and remove it from my room I told heIr I would like to have a refund because of the unsanitary that I was subjected to she told me she'd have to call her general manager Nick Bhoola nick said that if I had a problem with the room I should have said something upon checking in which I understand however I wasn't planning on complaining about the room I wanted to go to sleep get rested again and then head home the following day.

The non smoking room I was in was reasonably priced and well kept.

The only thing holding the room door closed was the deadbolt and chain latch. The door itself would not close. Also, they said our room was non-smoking, but there was an ashtray on the nightstand and the room reeked of cigarettes. Bad experience.

Good night of sleep, clean room, well lit parking lot, easy to locate off of highway. However we got in at 1am and once we unpacked and played down, we discovered that our TV didn't c work. We were offered a room change, but we're too tired to take it. No discount for lack of TV given. Friendly staff, Bruce at the front desk was nice.

Property just recently changed from Super 8 to a Rodeway inn. Looks like the owners are working to bring the property up to Rodeway standards but they have a long way to go. On the plus side, the rooms are clean and the staff is friendly.

We never even got to see our room. We made a prepaid reservation, which they were informed we would be checking in late at night. Upon arrival we were told we would have to cancel our reservation with the manager (when he arrives after our stay) and pay cash in full (+$22 more than our reservation cost) for a room on the spot. Not a trust worthy place.

Stayed as a last minute guest, after an area hotel canceled our reservation. The front desk was especially helpful, and the room was clean and well furnished.

Had a room when nobody else did. Friendly service and a clean room.

Love it, king size bed, no smoking, air conditioning rooms.

We got a room with two full sized beds, and it was cheap so I didn't expect much. But it wasn't clean. There is no excuse for cigarette burns in the comforters, stains in the comforters and the shower had a dead roach and live earwig crawling in the shower curtain. I didn't allow, clothes or bags on the floors and put most of the stuff back in my car. It would be a great room of it was cleaner. I think if you are running a business where you expect people to sleep and rest, keep it clean!

THIS PLACE IS RACIST! My husband and I are over the road truck drivers. We were only bringing our small tractor to the hotel which can be parked loke a car, however that was a problem with the hotel staff. My husband was calling for two days straight trying to get an answer. The staff kept telling him to call back for a manager, send and email which was a bogus email address anyway. We just canceled our reservation. My husband is a Platinum Choice Privileges member, and we got real crappy phone service. As Customers willing to pay for a hotel room and reason with management on parking our tractor. They decided to play games with us just because of my husband's very intellegent African Americans voice on the phone. Shame on these people, May God have mercy on their wretched, hateful souls!

Crap place it's dirty and smells so I immediately asked for my money back and they refused so had to call the police to get my money back. Beware!

Quiet location, clean room. Not The Ritz but decent room for the price.

I have stayed here long-term for a month in June, and I came back in September to stay about a week. All the faculty I had good experiences with until recently. The accommodations are plain but they work. A TV with cable, Wi-Fi (which doesn't work have the time) and the beds are clean, except for the occasional cigarette burn. It's a great place if you're just looking for basic accommodations and to lay your head down for the night. You don't get your own coffee machine, and the only microwave and ice machine are in the front lobby. They lock off part of the lobby, so you can't use the microwave after 10, or 11 on weekends. It's one of the cheapest motels in St. Charles, although the weekend rate is almost $80 a night. One of the staff members, Jamie, goes above and beyond and gave me the "regular's discount" for $50 a night, even on weekends. You can also get a whole week for a little over $300 when you calculate tax. However, starting a few weeks ago their Wi-Fi pretty much stopped working unless you are sitting directly inside the motel's lobby. I work from home at my computer and have to upload time-sensitive documents as part of my job. I bought a mifi device to use in the motel in cases where their Wi-Fi was crappy. Well, the mifi device was acting up, and I kept having to restart it to get it to work. I went up to the front at about 9 p. M. And the inside lobby was supposed to be open until 11.

A crappy place to stay. There dirty, smell like a god awful stench of pets an it looked as if the beds had simply been remade NOT WASHED FIRST. The amenities suck. For 171$ For two nights I expected better. This place is horrible. I would never reend it.
