Place is old, smells, due to a lack of ventilation. Zero amenities. No elevator. Water doesn't drain well in the sink and tub. Security is lacking. You can hear all the neighbors. If you want cheap, but not much in return, ok.

I'm a disabled veteran that uses a power chair, had a second floor room. When I asked where the elevator was I was told to use the stairs, no other room was avaliable so I had my son help me up. Then had to send my wife down for toilet paper since none was in the room.

Your motel was the worst I have ever stayed in. It was primitive, doll, and not very attractive or comfortable. Your staff on duty was not very knowledgeable for information. One person could not give me directions to the hotel, and upon arrival I had problems with the doors opening properly. When I called the front desk, I was not given assistance. I had to wait for one of your other guest to come and open the door for me. I also don't believe that I received my proper veterans discount either.

Able to sleep well here, although handicap accessibility was marginal at best, very difficult to get into building on my electric scooter. Also a leaky ice bucket caused water to run onto the nightstand where my telephone was sitting, the phone was destroyed and cost me $$$$ to replace.

I'd say a 3 1/2 star rating. And simply because at some Motel 6 some individuals are professionals and some just speak like they do not want to work there. Also because some of the rooms that I have stayed throughout Motel 6 in IL were not 100% and I believe every room should be at 100% because customers are paying for their stay and relaxation with no interruptions. Regarding that I have had to be moved from rooms because of the lack of maintenance some of the Motel 6 have.

I stayed one night with my cats. A nice quiet hotel. Friendly staff. Blankets were a bit thin. I'd recommend as a pet friendly hotel, nothing fancy. :)

It's very peaceful and super clean a little sore in the eye but the people are super nice! I feel like they need more flowers and better landscaping to liven up the place and just liven it up with a nice color paint job! But always smells great every time I walk in there! Thank you!

The front desk employee seems doesn't care about customer. The lobby was locked when I arrived and didn't know that there was a Secured Check-in Window (? ) but no body bothered to answer my nock on the door. There is no courtesy. I don't know what was the smell on the corridor and the room, but feels like fish market. Well, stayed overnight but never going back to this location.

We needed some rooms for (cheap) family members coming in for an event. While it was certainly affordable, the hallways smelled of multiple types of smokeables and there were some shady types hanging around. I wouldn't stay here but the family was happy with the barebones service for barebones prices.

A clean & modern facilitated motel. I like the room and the motels location.

Good clean rooms at reasonable prices. Stay overnight or the week close to shopping and many good restaurants. Can bring your friends and pet friendly.

The heater worked long while the room warm.

I booked this room for a quick over night stay after a concert. I never made it to the concert because the first room they put my partner and I in was the coldest room I have ever stepped foot in. It was one of the coldest days in December but the room they put us in was just as cold as outside. Before booking I made sure to look at all room options available as to not be put in a crappy room. Just needed a WARM place to sleep. After about 45 minutes sitting in the room with the heat ON we were still wearing our winter coats and boots because we were freezing still. There was no way that room was going to warm up for us to sleep there so we went to the front desk. The lady at the front desk was not friendly or willing to work with us. We checked in at 6:15 pm, its not like it was the middle of the night and we were asking for a better room. We only wanted a warm room where the walls, desk, and bed weren't as cold as ice. A very nice older gentlemen came and checked out our heater and told us it was working fine but if we wanted a different room he would let the lady at the front desk know we should be switched, but to give it 10 more minutes. We waited. Still freezing but the heat was working better, still not at a rate that would have made us not freeze while we were sleeping. We got a new room, but I was upcharged $10. I did not find out that I was charged extra until the next day.

What is wrong with this company. Motel 6 you suck. How do you keep a rude, mad person as your manager. She works at nights most the time and she's rude. If you don't do as share says like a child she's quick to throw you out. She's always ready to fight with someone with her attitude. How is this customer service? How she even make manger? She lies about eveything and I feel she does it to fight with people. Why she so mad mad and bitter? This is the lowest class and price hotel and now I can see why. You walk in the building and all u smell is cig smoke and weed smoke and dogs piss. The rooms are bad. Water is hot only some times and some of the sinks suck. The keys work when they want and u have to keep going down stairs but if you do dont wake her up because she will be upset and it will be you're fault to Why she is mad. Horrible place. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY HERE! They need a new management team. The owner should care a little more about how their business is ran and taking care of! Corporate should get involved being that this lady is a representation of the hotel and she's doing a horrible job but yet is still here after years. Horrible! Everyone that has a bad experiences with her or in the room should put a complaint to corporate and to the owner and put a review.

The sheets were never changed my entire stay. I knew they weren't changed because there were cigarette burns in the blanket. Also, the cleaning could of been better. I stayed in two different motel 6 motels and found a total of 3 cockroaches in my week long stay for both.

The quality of the room was what I expect with Motel 6. But it was her night manager that totally shocked my boyfriend and I. Not only was she rude, short and condescending from the moment we walked in. But — when I came back a few hours later she 1) lied when we asked to call a taxi — said they were all closed. 2) when we first came down she was sleeping and admitted so. Continued rude and condescending attitude throughout the entire process, mainly seemed pissed we had woken. Her up. She engaged in a verbal dispute with my boyfriend instead of just saying ok I'll see what I can do to clm him. When my boyfriend asked if we could change the room because of the phone, she flat out said she couldn't give us a different room for something like that. I worked in various customer service positions and this is BY FAR the worse cust service.

Room was clean but shower faucet was broken and we were unable to take a shower the first night. Told front desk and they offered to move us but that would have been involved and we declined. We told front desk again the next morning and it was fixed when we returned that night. Keys wouldn't open door though and we had to get them redone to get in our room. We should have been offered a small price discount for the first night to recompense us for the significant inconvienence.

The room was very clean and nicely renovated. But full of roaches. Oh my I had to go to Wal-Mart at 12 mid night and buy bug spray in order to sleep. I didn't want them to get in the bed with me. Something should be done about the infestation. Very nice Motel 6.

Everything was great the people were really nice! They had great TV channels, and their Wi-Fi was pretty good! only thing I had a problem with was the monster under my bed, the dragon outside my window, and the little girl that always stood on the corner of my bed watching me while I slept! But other than that everything was great!

First off anytime I travel I prefer motel 6 however after this location I may think twice next time. First off upon check in the lady at the front didn't have change so I had to wait ten minutes almost for change. Than I walk up the hallways stairs to get to the room the hall way smelled like dirty mop water once I get in the room I noticed the table in the room was broken badly how did house keeping miss that? Than the remote did not work for the TV so I had to walk all the way back to desk for Batteries by this time I was just ready to ask for my money how ever the only reason. I did not do is because the motel 6 in rolling meadows was full for the nights so yes I had to endure this for two night to me it really feels like I beaten out my money.

Older hotel but clean and nicely remodeled. AC worked wonderfully. Plenty of parking with security cameras present. Desk staff very accommodating. Reviewed motel prior to reserving so was fully aware I needed to bring my own hair dryer and iron. Only drawback was the analog signal on the TV which made thw picture fuzzy but who cares. We are here to see the sights! Good hotel for the budget price.

Where to begin the sheets had hair on them from the very top to where your feet go, the pillows were as if there were cotton balls inside of them, the floor was barely qualified as clean under the bed was not swept and there were stains on the floor which could easily be cleaned up, the coverlet was stained, the ac/heat smelled disgusting, the bathtub also had hair inside of it, the TV was fuzzy, overall as a previous motel 6 employee I am disappointed and disguested with the lack of cleanliness and lack of heart for service the manager and housekeeper should be ashamed of the quality of the property I will be letting everyone know how underwhelming and disgusting motel 6 of palatine is. I suppose I'm more disappointed that I have worked for motel 6 recently and to see that heart for service is nowhere to be found is not only disappointing but incredibly sad, like I said the manager should be ashamed of themself and the housekeeper responsible as well. I will give credit to the friendliness of the staff which is why I have two stars instead of one. Best wishes to your lack of heart for service and ibic2.

Chintzy on the amenities. Small bath towels, bath products only available from vending machine, no shoe mat despite vinyl floors, no fridge. Poor sound insulation.

The rooms were clean, and the staff friendly. That being said, this location lacked certain amenities that I am used to in a chain like this. There was no shampoo and conditioner provided, the rooms had no mini-fridge or microwave, the walls were very thin and the people in the room next to ours were rather noisy. For the price (Thursday night-Friday morning), it was higher than what I would expect ($59.00). I stayed in a nicer motel in Milwaukee a week ago on a Friday night for ($44.00). It doesn't seem like this one doesn't have a lot of local competition though. Overall, it was better than sleeping in my car.

I booked online via Priceline. They do not have my reservation. I paid at counter. Then I got occupied room. Had to walk all way down with my baggage. They gave me another room. On second floor. And guess what. Also occupied! Ridiculous!

The reception staff were helpful, prompt, and courteous. I booked online and while I had a credit card on file, they were able to take cash upon arrival. The room was clean and all lights were in good working order, I had to call to the front desk to get the Wi-Fi password so. I think that should be addressed and explained to the guests upon check in. I travel a lot for business and Motel 6 is a trusted brand. It is my fault that when I searched the area for motels, I did not specify my preference for a mini fridge, coffeepot, and microwave in the room. I did have to have my magnetic key reset once or twice but one attendant told me that my cell phone would demagnetize the card if kept to close.

Very clean although did smell like disinfectant. Vinyl floor — no carpet which is good. Friendly speedy check in/out and let us check out late next day as we were participating in a triathlon and needed to change after finishing. Decent shower, comfortable bed — seemed to be remodeled recently and had everything we needed (blackout curtains, table, good bed, extra toilet paper, etc) Neighborhood seem very nice — big expensive house behind motel have kids birthday party during stay and nice car dealerships/upscale businesses all around. Ate dinner at Pita Pita (Mediterranean) about 500 yrds away and loved it — went back for lunch next day. Situated away from street so no traffic noise and was quiet at night — slept well.

This motel is by far the worse motel ever. First & for most they have plenty of bed bugs sizes of aunts. & they don't inform anyone of these nasty little creatures that will stick to your clothing & travel along with you bringing them to your home or car etc. These bugs are clearly hard to remove. Do your research on these bed bugs that bite all over your skin various times & it itches like hell. 2nd of all the cleaning ladies are so annoying they're suppose to knock at 12pm cause that is the check out time but they start banging on the door at 10am & let me tell you if you don't open the door for them after 15 min of them knocking they barge into the room. I even had the top lock locked & they broke that open just to kick us out (keep in mind this is at 10:15 once again check out is at 12pm) they also try to take $10 so that you can stay an hour longer & it's for them to keep not for it to go to the office. They also favorite people at the front desk making some people pay less & some pay the normal rate. They also let people drug deal from this motel very unsanitary. This motel also smells like dog & asss. They also don't clean it like it should be cleaned take off every single sheet & tell me there's not crums all over the bed. This motel I suggest you stay away from espically if you have kids. You're better off going to the motel 6 in Arlington heights. Now if you decide to go here don't say I didn't worn you.

Very nice motel for The price clean and god.

I've been stuck here for 4 days til my truck gets fixed. The internet, which you must pay 2.99 a day for is worthless. It only works sometimes, and when it does isn't any better than my 3G thru my cellphone, which is also horrible here. Its 2-3 blocks to any food places. They don't take comchecks, which is retarded because they are verified guaranteed funds available for the check, verified to the place that its made out to. And when I went to wash my laundry, and asked the front desk girl for the quarters to do 2 loads, she gave me 2 dollars. I went to the laundry room, and it was 1.25 for each washer, 1.00 for 1 detergent, and 1.25 for the dryer. So obviously not enough quarters for even 1 load, much less 2. So I went back to get more quarters. And her boyfriend? I don't know who he was, but he's just standing outside the counter all the time when she's there gets an attitude with me, telling me she can't keep giving me quarters and go down the street to some store and try to get them from there. WTF kinda hotel doesn't have resources available to let you use the laundry? Am I supposed to carry 7.00+ in quarters with me when checking in? It was clean, and the maids were polite, that is the only good thing I can say about this horrible place.

Awful. Stinks. Obviously they started renovating but never finished. Old and falling apart. I left and went to the Holiday Inn across the freeway instead, didn't bother to ask the one employee for a refund.

Someone got stabbed in the motel. Blood all over hallway. Cops made people stay locked in their rooms. I will be asking for a refund.
