We were driving from Arizona to Michigan and by the time we got to Springfield, we were exhausted! This was a wonderful place to recharge. The room was very clean and extremely comfortable, and the staff were all friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were happy there! The pool and hot tub were amazing, even had cool light color changes on the pool! The hotel has an agreement with snap fitness and we were able to go and work out for free. Then back to the hotel for an amazing breakfast! We left this hotel fully energized and ready for the last leg of our trip! We WILL stay here again!

The staff was friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was good. Most importantly the Hotel was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The indoor pool and hot tub were also clean which was a plus for us with two little fish along lol.

I am pretty sure this place must pay for postive reviews. I stayed here because of them. So I as an average person will write an honest review. My daughters and I were not even here 15 minutes and the headboard fell on my daughter. There was no apology. He just asked if she pushed on it with force. My daughter is 17 and not strong enough to tear a headboard from the wall by just pressing against it. I used to work in hotels this headboard was clearly jerry rigged into place. I am thankful my 4 year old was not on the bed at the time because she would have gotten hurt. There was no carpet in the room. The bathroom door did not close all the way. This hotel is very outdated and needs a good cleaning. Our bedding was not even clean. The beds are stiff as boards. I come to Springfield with my family once a year and normally stay at another hotel. Next year I will return to that hotel, because I will never be back to this one.

Highly recommend this place. Its clean, updated and the staff is welcoming and friendly. Breakfast is always delicious. The owner worked with my crazy schedule and always accommodated me. I'm a traveling nurse who works nights shift.

For a last minute unexpected stay they were great. Very clean and the kids loved the pool. They also had a great variety for the breakfast! I would stay again.

Our room was great : Everything was comfortable & clean! The BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE ENCOUNTERED AT ANY HOTEL WE STAYED! We had our two parrots along for our trip and I called hotel just to confirm pets were allowed — yes pets are allowed & fee of $10 per pet, per night — I'm okay with that. Arrived late and check-in was so friendly & welcoming! I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone! Thanks for a pleasant night's rest and OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Room 330 with a jacuzzi tub, clean, well kept, and smells great. But the service, best ive ever had at a hotel. The manager, even made me a cup of coffee after finding out we were running a booth at the lawn and garden show and froze all day! Highly recommend!

Called here after we were unable to find an available room in the area on a Friday night. Two rooms left & we headed that way. My phone rang & it was Kumar asking if we were still coming. I had just parked at the front door. Went to register & he told me he just had an on-line inquiry. We did not pre-book. He could have sold the room BUT he was kind enough to check with us first. THAT is incredible customer service in my book! Room was clean. Beds super comfy. Thanked him again the morning as he carried my grand daughter's luggage down. Great stay. Great service. Caring owners. We need more people like that in this world!

Thank you so much for a great STAY! We stayed here for 2 days and loved everything about this place. The room looks great and property looks recently renovated. Enjoyed the free complimentary breakfast with variety of choices. Loved how friendly the staff was and how attentive they are to your needs. The pool and hot tub very well kept and loved the wide array of pillows provided. I have stayed in many hotels but I have to say this is by far the best experience I have had in long time. See you soon.

I have stayed there just about every Wednesday night for 5 years. I have always had good experience. It was recently sold and the new owners have made vast improvements and made my "good" experience a "excellent" one. I always look forward to my stay at my second home. .

Very nice, clean hotel. My 11 year old really enjoyed the pool. Hotel was kept up very well. Breakfast was amazing. Staff was friendly! Great place to stay and great job to the staff/owners!

Had a chance to stay at this location. The customer service was top notch. Mr & Mrs Singh went beyond my expectations to make my stay great. Bathrooms immaculate Breakfast bar well stocked. I had a chance to stay in Jacuzzi suite, it was well worth every dime. I had drove 9 hrs straight, once I reached there got a really nice welcome. The entire staff made me feel like I was home. Everyone was joking, laughing but were very professional towards the guest. Hot tub, heated indoor swimming pool relaxes you. I would recommend this place to my family and friends. If you are in the neighborhood, stop by.

We had embarrassing complications with payments. Staff (owners) were nothing but understanding and professional. Rooms were immaculate. Pearly white linen, spotless tub, microwave and fridge at an unbeatable price. Best sleep I’ve had in a long time. Breakfast unlimited and delicious. Best hotel I’ve ever been to. This will be my preferred place to stay. Thank you!

Stayed for a special occasion and was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were immaculate, the management team was very nice and welcoming upon entry. They they strive to get it right and make sure the guests have a great experience. I will definitely be back. Keep up the great work.

This was a nice, BAYMONT INN& Suites. They treated my Family great. The bed are very soft. And the pillows are like sleeping on a cloud. The room was clean and newly remodeled. The room came with microwave and a portable refrigerator. Coffee maker and complimentary toiletries. Also, a blow dryer. Plenty of towels. Mu family said they love the hot tub. And weight room. This is the only place my family wants to stay at. The free breakfast. Is the best. Management is always available to help or just talk. This is a friendly place to stay with your family and friends. I would recommend this baymont inn& suites. If you are visiting springfield, illinois. Management keep up the good work. It is a pleasure to stay here.

Breakfast area WAY to small. Rooms small and not really modern. The whole place smells like a spice air freshener. Pets are allowed so that is cool. Pool and hot area are nice, has a workout room as well. Vending machines onsite. Not horrible and it seems to have alot of local awards. I just was not crazy about it. There was nothing wrong with hotel at all, it was simply not my type of stay.

If I could give this hotel zero stars, I would. My husband and I paid for a week. There was a lady and her son across the hall who were smoking I their room (I heard the owner warning this woman about smoking in the room and that people were complaining they could smell it). My husband and I went to the pool that evening where these two happened to be. They were loud and obnoxious, clearly intoxicated with mind altering substances. They bragged about being on the run for crimes they committed and that they were smoking weed, cigarettes and methamphetamines in their room. My husband and I left and went back to our room. The next evening that kid kept coming to our room to ask for a lighter. The third time we didn't answer the door as my husband and I were laying in bed watching a movie. We were tired of these people bothering us. The next thing we know the owner (or whoever they were) were yelling outside of our door telling us we have five minutes to vacate or they were pressing charges. They had the wrong people as she obviously forgot who she warned the previous day. She refused to listen to us, kept the money for the rest of the week ($200) plus we had to leave belongings behind. My husband accidentally left his wallet which had another $200 in it. They refused to give our money or belongings back and wanted another $250 from us! These people are dishonest crooks. I'll never go back.

We have stayed here several times. Rooms are always clean and up to date. Breakfast was really good and the staff are awesome. Right off the interstate and very easy to find. Close to Springfield and lots of good dining options. For around $70/night it is probably one of the best girls in Springfield for the money. Had the pleasure of meeting the new owners last visit as well. Sorry nice people who really care about your stay.

I have stayed at many hotels in Springfield as I've travelled for school. This is definitely the best budget hotel in Springfield. The staff is amazing and the hotel is clean and safe. The breakfast is the best in town with eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, cereal, french toast sticks, oatmeal, etc. I will never stay anywhere else in Springfield.

Room was well worth the price. Very clean, fresh smelling, nicely designed, and spacious. Bathroom was equally clean, and good quality shampoo, conditioner, and soap was provided. Bed was large, and extremely comfortable. Staff was very friendly, and courteous, and even provided me with a complimentary toothpaste & toothbrush when I mentioned I had forgotten to bring mine. The overall design of the building was very nice & clean. The complimentary breakfast was a step above the typical cold breakfast selection. Sausage, biscuits, gravy, eggs, cereal, waffles & french toast, along with coffee, and juices. The breakfast room itself was rather small & cramped, but adequate enough. My only real disappointment was the late check in time (3 pm), & standard checkout (11 pm). It kind of seems as if you're getting gypped out of several hours of what should be a full days stay. One of the only motels I've ever stayed in with such a late check in time. But I'd still stay there again. Overall, I was extremely impressed.

Nice Clean Rooms. At a very reasonable rate. I called to c what their rate was and they quoted me a low rate so we went there about an hour later without making the reservation ahead of time also because I don't like to use my credit card online in my phone. But when I got there the rate they gave me was almost 20 dollars higher, so I mentioned that I called them a while b4 and they had quoted me the other rate and they gave me that rate. That was Awesome of them! The Free Breakfast the next morning was very good… A lot of variety… Much more than ive ever seen in other hotels b4! Our only complaint is they sure seem to have very very thin walls you could hear the neighbors next door very clearly. And ours just happened to come in at 3am. And stayed very loud for about an hour.

Great value, clean, pool, exercise partnership with a local 24/7 fit place. Close to I-55. Breakfast (included) options are good but limited especially for those of us who are gluten free.

The new owner takes so much pride in his hotel. Walking in — you say wow. Not your typical old looking Baymonts. The staff is amazingly nice. Rooms were upgraded 2 years ago and he wants to redo them all already. Rooms were quiet. Clean. Beds and pillows were so comfy. Wonderful water pressure and nice and HOT. For any frugal business travel — this is a hidden gem. I checked out thinking I would be done with business — and nope. So of course, I went right back to my new favorite hotel.

Stayed on 3rd floor and slept like a baby. Bed & pillows were comfortable and clean. The entire property was very clean. I had the chance to meet the new owners of the property, and they were nice people. The hotel is right next door to a Cracker Barrel if you're a fan of that chain. Would stay here again. Bathroom and pool area were clean and we'll maintained. Stayed here 9/27/2017-9/28/2017.

Very nice. The owners are pleasant and happy they had really made my stay a great experience. Good breakfast and a clean room. Perfect!

We arrived at midnight and left the next morning, but our stay was pleasant. The staff is very friendly, and the hotel is clean and has been updated. Breakfast was above average for this type of hotel. Very good value for the price.

This place was neat and clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast wasn't all that great, but it was better than most other hotels, there was so much to choose from, and the breakfast area was clean. Pool area was also clean. Rooms were clean and spacious, although that made the bathroom area smaller than we were used to. We will definitely return.

The room was clean except for a noticeable layer of dust on the wall. The pool area was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Even noticed we had more than three guests on check in and gave us extra towels so we wouldn't have to call down in morning. The breakfast was a great selection and tasted good. Could use more room in the breakfast area. Overall a comfortable and great experience with a good price tag.

This was a great stay and I stay a lot of places for work. This time it was with family. There was a fridge and microwave in both of our rooms. The place was very clean. They served a Super breakfast with hot food, not just a donut and an apple like so many places. The pool is really nice, as well as the attached outdoor patio area. The Wi-Fi actually worked fantastic on the 3rd floor too. And lastly, they kept good coffee brewed in the main desk area 24 hours. I had to leave this place a raving review.

The location was good. It is near several restaurants and a gas station. It is only about 15 min from downtown and Lincoln's tomb. The lobby is nice and recently updated. The customer service was great! The room was good. It had a microwave and small fridge. The only part that wasn't great was the bathroom and shower — they could use some updating, but got the job done.
