Perfect place to stay. Walking distance to all the shops, wineries & restaurants. Live band every weekend, shuttle service, free breakfast, beautiful historic building, friendly staff, great bar & atmosphere. Will definitely be going back the next time I visit Hermann.

Atmosphere was wonderful. The 1837 bar was entertaining, multiple tv’s. We had a great time. Live music was great. They played a variety of styles that everyone enjoyed.

Wonderful staff. The room was dirty. The was an opened can of coffee that has been used. No plastic cups to drink out of. Website said all rooms came with bottled water. We had none. Only 2 bed pillows. The other ones were decorative pillows which were filthy.

Friendliest staff ever! Jen went above and beyond making us comfortable and the staff even helped me look for my glasses! very cute and interesting decor.

We came down from KC on Thursday via train for our Anniversary. Everyone from the staff was so friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to the Arminius Master Suite which is huge, all kidding aside I told my wife my first apartment wasn’t as big. Our room and the common areas were all very clean, breakfast was hot and fresh and Jo, Jennifer and team Took good care of us. The shuttle service might be the best deal yet. Huge time saver and very inexpensive worth every penny, Lisa and Buzz provided a wealth of knowledge and some great stories too. That Cellar bar could just be the best kept secret in Herman … beautiful and spacious. Everything about our stay was 11 on a ten point scale. We even chatted with the owner Steve yesterday, can’t wait to see the patio expansion he has planned. Thanks for a wonderful memory, we will be back for sure.

My husband and I just spent two nights there for our honeymoon and we could not have been happier with our stay. The staff was amazing and the most helpful and friendly I have ever experienced. The room was amazing and huge! Very very clean and everything we could have wished for. While the whole place is beyond beautiful and had everything we were looking for the staff outshined it all. I really don’t have enough words for how amazing Jennifer and Mallory were in the hotel and our shuttle driver Lisa made our stay absolutely the best it could be. If you choose to stay here you will not be disappointed I promise. We have already scheduled our return trip for Octoberfest.

The employees are fantastic! Very accommodating and pleasant, did everything they could to make our stay happy and memorable. Our room was clean, quiet and very comfortable and breakfast was awesome. We will definitely be back! Thank you Renee, Jennifer, Rosie and Matt!

Nice boutique hotel. Spacious, clean and comfortable rooms. Great breakfast. The staff is friendly and helpful. The offer a shuttle for getting around the town. The bar is also a fun place to hang out in the evenings. Definitely recommend!

As soon as we walked into our room we both got the feeling of being in someone's house instead of a hotel, and the staff treated us as house guess. We never experienced this before anywhere else.

What a beautiful place! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by everyone. Great location, great breakfast… beautiful, clean rooms… and a great little bar downstairs, 1837 Hermann Cellar Bar. We will definitely be back!

The staff was very friendly. They had a lot of wine and beer to choose from (1 free drink included) and an awesome fire pit to hang out by! The rooms were nothing too fancy but served their purpose well.

You have to see the downstairs bar at Hermann Crown. It is simply amazing! The rooms are huge and well priced. The staff is super friendly. I recommend this place without hesitation.

The bar was extremely nice and the staff was extremely friendly. Made it well worth the trip, would definitely recommend going again.

What a beautiful place to stay! The staff was so welcoming and the facilities were impeccably clean. The combination of the old world building with modern conveniences made for a perfect night. The trolley service was great!

The staff were extremely accommodating and courteous. The room were very quaint and clean. The wine bar was deliciously stacked with various wines that Hermann has to offer. They have access to shuttle and trolley transportation. I highly (highly) recommend staying!

Was there for a wedding reception rehearsal. Bartenders were awesome, the place is super aesthetictly interesting. Would visit again.

Great hospitality and conversation with the managers. Really enjoyed the bonfire they have on Friday nights and the live music was excellent at the bar. Wifi is a little spotty but with the friendly atmosphere, complimentary wine ticket, and the hotel's own personal driver (so you can drink and stay safe), you won't need it! My boyfriend and I loved our weekender in Hermann. We'll definitely be coming back to this spot next time we come in.

The place is was exactly what I expected. I love the feel of the place and the location was perfect. A lot of things are in walking distance. I would stay here again.

Some friends and I went there for drinks during a birthday party. The cellar has a great atmosphere and feel. We really enjoyed spending time there and will definitely be going back.

Awesome hotel with a great little boutique for shopping! The selection of wine and beer in the bar is perfect. We really enjoyed playing board games and having drinks at the downstairs bar in the evening. Great location and within walking distance to some great stores and restaurants. The employees were welcoming and we had Buzz who transported us to the wineries! Definitely will be back!

The Hermann Crown I would rate as 5 star. It's a very older quaint hotel with all the charm. The people were very friendly. Downstairs they have a bar. The bartender gave us great advice to where to eat & sites to see. We actually bumped into him on our last day of stay at one of the restaurants that he referred us to & when we finished our meal the waiter informed us that the bill was taken care of… we asked "really by who? " It was the the bartender from the Hermann Crown that had picked-up our tab for lunch. During our stay at the Hermann Crown downstairs at the bar a group from American Family was having their Christmas Party had also offered to buy our drinks, and were very entertaining! We plan on returning in the future!

We had a wonderful stay. Close to everything. We were able to walk everywhere. Great parking options. They upgraded our room and it was lovely. Had a large fireplace and great view. The continental breakfast had a lot of options. It was great to start the day.
The only thing I didn't like was the dead flowers in our room. They could have been thrown out or replaced with new ones. It took away from the room. It also could have been a little cleaner, the bathroom mainly. Also, the pillows were horrible. I'd consider getting new anf fluffy ones. Plus there was no creamer or sweetener for the coffee and the coffee pot in our room didn't work BUT I just walked to the other hotel and made a cup. Just a little inconvenient.
Overall though we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
