Comfort Suites Plymouth near US-30

My kid and I were traveling back from a concert and decided to stop and stay somewhere along the way. Close to 2 am we ran across Comfort Suites. The hotel was under construction, which was not the issue. The issue was they put us in a room next to a guest who had their TV blaring all night, the construction team came in at 6:30 am into the hallways, coughing and talking very loudly. Then the smell of pot started to seep into the hallways. Thankfully the bed was comfortable, the only redeeming factor. We were hoping for restful sleep as we head into driving through an ice storm, though I suppose any sleep is better than none. I wouldn’t recommend this place until the construction is complete. After that, clearly I cannot speak for the changes.

This hotel was DISGUSTING and unsafe. I gave them time to contact me and make it right or at least acknowledge it and say they will do better but they refuse to respond! I checked in at 3pm to a dirty room so I asked the front desk to have them clean it and please call me back when I could go to the room with my small children, at 5:30pm I finally called in and asked what was going on she said she had cleaned it herself and everything was good now. It was NOT! The floor was filthy, the table had chunks of something on it the bathroom counter had soap scum on it still, the jacuzzi tub was covered in dirt, the microwave was dirty, toilet was not cleaned, the sheets had stains and the mattress was stained and burned. 1 lamp did not work at all another one flashed on and off multiple times through the stay. The trash outside the hotel was overflowing everywhere, the metal door handle had snapped off and was jagged and very dangerous, the door was permanently propped open allowing anyone without a key to enter, and the second floor was leaking some water/liquid down onto the first floor where the carpet was soaked.

First room had a clogged toilet… no big deal except for the fact they didn’t have a maintenance man on staff at 3pm on a Friday. So they moved us.
second room wasn’t much better but doable the phones didn’t work to call the front desk, the closet door was completely off the track, the TV was lopsided and couldn’t be straightened. There were tiles missing in the shower, the shower head sprayed out the back. So after being in the room for most of the evening, we used the bathroom and again the toilet was totally clogged (yes we flushed it several times before setting in). So at 9:00pm they moved us again…
Third room the shitter worked 100 times better than the other two. Buuuutttt when we started looking… there is mold in the fridge, the heating/ cooling unit is leaking with water on the floor… and questionable white powder on the floor by the night stand… I’m done!
Don’t ever stay here! Horrible hotel! After taking to the General Manager Melissa she told me the owner would be in contact with me to get me refunded for the one night we stayed, that never happened. The general Manager, and the Owner are both Liars and don't have an ounce of customer service stills. Without calling first, I never heard back from either of them. I called Choice hotels and they also dropped the ball in getting me a refund. Very Very disappointed!

Curb appeal was nice, rooms are modern and very well organized. Would definitely make a return trip.

I ended up stranded in Plymouth, Indiana under less than great circumstances. I showed up without a reservation super late. The front desk clerk saw that I was very upset and immediately called over a second guy to get me water, booked me into a room, and came around the front of the desk to comfort me. He asked the other worker to get me phone numbers in case of a once-a-day bus home, so I wouldn't miss it. The room was super clean and amazingly nice. Comfiest bed ever. They made sure I didn't miss breakfast, and printed my tickets. The clerk and I spent a few hours chatting between the desk and the front lobby about anything and everything, he shared his homemade Indian desserts with me and made sure I had coffee/water. He made sure I got into a cab and on the way to a bus home that next night. I never plan to visit Indiana again, however if you find yourself in Plymouth, stay there! Hiran, and other guy whose name I don't know, I hope you understand how much it meant that you made sure I was safe and alright. Thank you from the bottom of my Canadian heart.

Beware of mice poop. We stayed in a king suite and when we pulled out the sleeper sofa, we found crumbled up candy bar and mice poop all over the mattress. We told the front desk in the morning (10:40am) and when we got back to our room at 5:30, they were halfway done with cleaning our room and hadn’t even touched the mice poop.

Mold in room; had to sleep in car! I booked this room for a special event and all tooms in the area were sold out. When I walked in the room there was a musty odor but I thought I would just deal with it considering how busy the hotel was. But then I woke up in the middle of the night with chest tightness and chest pain. I am healthy and fit with no history of asthma. I had trouble breathing and so went out to talk to the night clerk. There were no other rooms available. So I grabbed a pillow and blanket and slept in the back of my SUV. Within 30 minutes of being out of the room I felt fine! I checked out in the morning (exhausted from little sleep). After a good night sleep elsewhere I called the hotel and discussed the situation. I didn’t think it was fair that I paid $238 for a night I had to sleep in my car. I think it is reasonable to expect a hotel to provide a room that is not a health hazard. The clerk agreed to refund the cost of the room and the charge was refunded on my credit card. But then later in the week the charge was placed back on my card. When I called the hotel again I was told the owner would not agree to any refunds and he charged back my card. This in unacceptable! Please be aware that this hotel is not a safe or clean environment. Please do not support this business!

The hot tub is broke the ladder in the pool is also broke and to top it off there is mold all over the ceiling in the pool room! Nasty!

Nothing said to parents of kids under 12 in hot tub. So no adults could even use. Kids jumping into pool with no respect for others.

Was overall an okay stay. Ended up staying for 3 nights and have 0 complaints about the room. The room and bathroom were very clean. The bed was very comfortable for the price I paid for the room. The only thing that I would complain about is the people disregarding the "No Smoking" Rule in the hotel. Every night when I got back up to my room it just smelled like someone had been smoking inside the room next to me. However, as soon as I got into the room… It was almost non-existent. Definitely one of THE best hotels in town at a fairly reasonable price!

Everything at this hotel feels new and up to very high quality standards. The bathrooms/showers are very nice, the water is warm, and the shampoo is very good. Beyond that the beds felt very comfortable, and everything in general was very clean. The staff was also very nice, by accommodating to everything I needed. Overall, a great hotel, stay here if you have the option!

I made reservations ahead of time but when I arrived there wasnt a room available. I was relieved when they finally had a room available, but then I ran into another problem. The room was occupied! So there I sat waiting for another room. I had to wait for someone to clean it first. I would have left if my room was dirty, but thank goodness that it wasn't. It was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. I guess the 3rd time really was a charm.

Always a pleasure staying in Comfort Suites. The rooms are huge! So much room for activities. Hotel has a pool and hot tub and great breakfast. I had a great experience staying at this hotel.

Good placr. Need more vegetarian/vegan friendly breakfast choices and keeping the breakfast items constantly stocked.

Ok, acceptable hotel. But with the most kind service staff, it is full of warmth.

Teresa was very friendly and helpful as usual. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious.

The service was great, room was comfortable, but there was blood on the back of the bathroom door and the bathtub had a large chip in it.

I appreciate this little hotel for the price. This is a rural blue collar neighborhood and clientele. I thought twice about parking my $50, 000 SUV in their lot due to construction vehicles and rusted cars. As I entered, the interior was dingy and my heart sank a little. But the room and restroom were clean. Walls are thin and I had to use a white noise app to sleep. Sleep was good and breakfast was as expected. This is a 2-star place — not a 3-star hotel as advertised on Google. I would stay here again; I would take my mother down the street to the newer Holiday Inn Express for 50% more $$.

My TV didn't work properly, phone by bed didn't work properly. Top it off I had my cancer medication (which properly marked) set bedside table was thrown away by cleaning staff. This med cost $2000 a month must be taken EVERY day. Took a long time to find it. I was not thrilled and feel as though I should get at least half my money refunded!

Not happy with the way new owner handled our reservation. Will not stay here again. Owner refused to honor reservation made with prior owner. We had double paid so the previous owner moved the reservation. The new owner refused to honor it. Had to pay again — double paid.

Rooms were kept very clean, very affordable, friendly staff and house keepers.

First, the evening desk staff was amazing and went above and beyond to fix all issues we ran into. This is the nicest hotel in Plymouth, but our visit was a little bit of a mess because of the housekeeping staff. The first room we were assigned hadn't been cleaned, and with the help of the desk staff, we had to remake the bed in the second room.

Clean place, friendly staff, pool, small workout room. The only thing I didn't like were the room accoustics. Breakfast was good. Location was well suited for our needs.

Excellent rooms. Clean and spacious. Good breakfast options. Biscuits and gravy, sausage, eggs, muffins, yogurt, etc. Located very close to the highway so great place to stop for the night.

We got the King suite with the jacuzzi room. The room was nice and big, the bed was very comfortable, but the water wouldn't stay in the jacuzzi unless you kept your hand pushed down on the plug (which obviously defeats the purpose of relaxing), and the coffee pot still had a coffee packet in it, and when we told the manager about not being able to use the jacuzzi all she said was that she was sorry and would have maintence fix it after we checked out. When we spend $200 for a room, mainly for the jacuzzi, I expect it to work. A bit of a refund would have been better then nothing.

Everything was clean and comfortable in our room. The manager, Teresa, went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. She even prepared our breakfast items separately from the meat-based food, as we are strict vegetarians. A wonderful experience overall!

Friendly staff, large well equipped rooms, fantastic breakfast offerings (compared to other CS), Jacuzzi rooms, comfy beds, everything I could ask for and more. I travel for a living, this Comfort Suites in Plymouth IN, is now one of my favorites…

Room is great, breakfast is pretty good. Bathtub drain is stopped up, and has yet to be resolved by housekeeping.

I stayed here last month while on business travel, and experienced an issue. I got checked in, given my room key, and went to my room. Opened the door and it was full of someone else's belongings. Obviously, someone else's room. This is a HUGE concern to me, as I travel with expensive equipment and security is a BIG thing for me… I like to think at a 'nicer' hotel, this wouldn't happen… I know mistakes do happen. The front desk woman was quick to apologize, but what if I was a thief? I could've rifled thru their belongings without a camera on me. This is a big concern…

This hotel and staff was very pleasant, room was clean with a comfortable bed. Would highly recommend this location.

Try swan lake resort instead. These people act like they are the only game in town. This location ruins what generally is a nice chain to stay in.

Felt like there was nothing between me and my neighbors, could hear their conversions like they were in my room. The lady at the front desk was very helpful, got us into another room that was quieter (no neighbors). The bed was nothing special, was very stiff, could feel springs poking me all night. For a newer hotel, it's in pretty bad shape. It really has an unfinished feel to it.

After a long day of traveling from Northern Ireland to O'Hare we needed a place to sleep on our way home to Fort Wayne. Thankfully this hotel had some last minute availability and we jumped at the chance of staying here. Staff is very friendly, the beds are very comfortable and the breakfast was more than sufficient. We would definitely recommend this place to travelers on US30. Decently priced and, therefore, good value!

Room was nice and clean. Staff was very friendly. It's a shame, though, they're not rewarded for all their hard work. We were there over Christmas and chatted with the workers. They weren't getting any sort of extra benefit for being away from their families on Christmas. No extra pay of any kind. Pay your workers better!

Nice place to stay. Comfortable setting, clean building, good breakfast and comfortable beds. Most importantly, NICK was wonderful! When I checked in, there was a bit of confusion with my reservations. Nick solved the problem… easily and happily… AND saved me some money! During my stay, Nick was friendly and I felt as though I had made a friend at this hotel. I plan to reserve more rooms at our next event next year! Overall it wasn't a bad place to stay for one night. There were some issues though. The ice machine was broken, and the hot tub in my friend's room had green water with orange foam. The staff was super friendly, which was nice. Breakfast was completely adequate and there was plenty of parking.

Spacious rooms, VERY comfortable bed. Had enough room to relax and set up a work area. Very pleased.

This place was excellent! The rooms, staff, location! Hot tub could've been hotter and gravy wasn't the best, but we travel all the time for work and this is by far the best place we've stayed. You will not be disappointed in this place.
