Mildew in the bathtub in a few spots and two out of three elevators not working. The front desk couldn’t have cared less. I wasn’t compensated except given Marriott points. That doesn’t fix anything because I won’t be staying at Marriott again.

Upon checking in at approximately 7 pm, my room had an odor. I called the front desk and asked for another room. They quickly obliged and sent someone up with a new room key. I moved several doors down and the smell was even worse! The air conditioner is all duct work in the ceiling. When the air kicked on I quickly realized it was coming in from the vent. It smelled as though someone was cooking a pungent, spicy ethnic food in their room near me. It was awful. I went to the lobby to meet my food delivery driver and the front desk asked about my room. I explained it was even worse. He asked if I wanted an appetizer or something from the bar. An appetizer was not what I wanted to enjoy in my smelly room. I asked him or the other guy at check in to come up and see for themselves. He said he told his night manager but she was working on paperwork. I went up to eat my dinner and it was just God-awful in my room. I tried spraying perfume and once the air kicked on it was back. I waited over an hour for someone to come up and no one did. I returned to the front desk and asked to check out the next morning (I was supposed to stay all week). I moved to another Marriott closer to O'Hare and had an amazing experience.

Disgusting. I am reading a lot of positive reviews, so I am led to believe that this is just the fault of whomever was supposed to clean the room before us. We paid a premium for New Year’s eve in the only executive suite at this hotel. I use the term “executive suite“ lightly, as it was anything but. The walls were dirty, the sheets had god knows what on them, crusty stains on all furniture and walls, for goodness sake a freaking ceiling tile was caved in and WE had to fix it the best way we could. We had to wipe down the tiles on the ceiling and wipe down the bath. My girlfriend had to catch herself while getting into the shower because there is nothing for grip and the floor was so slippery. The funniest part of this disaster was that someone stole our beer! My girlfriend and I were relaxing in the tub (that we had to clean) and we thought we heard the door open. Being us we thought that couldn’t be because it’s around 8 am and check out isn’t until 12:00pm. Our best guess is housekeeping (who tried to come in 2 other times, again hours before checkout) came in to clean and then realized we were still in the room and left. I wish I would have spent my money elsewhere.

My husband and I were in Elmhurst for the birth of our grandson. Our intentions were to stay at their house, but at the last minute, we had to find a hotel close to the hospital. It was during rush hour on a Friday night, so it was very hard to get around and find a decent hotel, especially after being awake for almost 20 hours straight. We found this hotel right off the interstate, and from the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the most friendliest staff I have ever met at a front desk of a hotel. They were understanding to our circumstances and gave us the best deal available. Their friendliness is one of the reasons I would definitely come back to stay! Our room was spacious, and CLEAN! Bed was comfortable and the shower was amazing! The hotel cleaning staff were very good as well, and our room was kept spotless. I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends/family!

Nice place to stay for vacation is centered good for whatever reason, dinner, entreteimen, the Bistro is good and frendly employees. I will book again no question ask.

We needed a night away. This place was perfect. The Bistro for breakfast was really good too. Cucumber water in the lobby Yum.

Loved it to bad no free breakfast. We loved the pool and hot tub.
