Everything was perfectly fine for what is. You could say it was a 5 star Super Eight but a 2 star hotel compared to all hotels. It does cost $135 in the summer and we only stay there because we have nowhere else to go.

It's a decent hotel. Definitely not a 5 star hotel but if you're pretty minimalistic, it'll work for you. I stayed two nights to attend near by Spartan Race events so all I needed was a bed and a shower. Needs more pillows and better comforter. Pretty skimpy on those things. But you get what you pay for! It's not a Hyatt Regency after all. Breakfast was nice too!

Breakfast is horrible have the pillows are paperthin. Very dated hotel for sure.

Staff will try to double charge you and put on hidden fees. Rooms are decent and house keeping is amazing.

They keep comeing up with charges they say its 204 for two night I looked at my bamk account and they took sixty extra bucks out and I go to say someyhing about it and they say no it took but my bank statment say 268

My friend got sick and we called 911 to help her. She had a seizure! Later that my room phone rang and I was told by the front desk lady that's there employee. Per Super 8 management she said Im aloud to stay tonight. But @ 11am is checkout I must depart and never come back here again. I was like Wow… because my friend had a medical emergency?

It was fine for a super 8. Cheap and clean.

Started for one night. Stay was quiet. Room w was clean.

Clean rooms and polite staff, but the bed was ridiculously hard.

I really enjoy staying here overnight from time to time. Very casual laidback atmosphere. Very laidback and friendly staff. I saw a sign there that pets are welcome to stay. I have two kittens. I havent brought them there but its nice to know I have that privilege available. The rooms are nice and comfortable. I love the comfortability of the beds. They provide continental breakfasts which is a great treat. I love continental breakfasts.

A bit run down. Hallways smell of smoke. Room was acceptably clean.

Beware… Horrible, disgusting, smelly run down hotel.

I dropped in to visit someone staying there. Not in the best shape and could use an overhaul… this was one of the original type Super 8's, not yet one of the nicer ones you sometimes see. It would not be my choice for a stay unless I really needed the rate. My friend was they because they allowed pets.

It is quiet there and they have great parking also located next door to McDonald's that is open 24/7 drive-thru and dine in which is very convenient.

My father of 82 years who has a hard time getting around, had been displaced by the flood in the Fox River area. My home was to far and has too many stairs. I was afraid if I brought him home he would've fallen and would have then really be in bad shape. Aseri was very accommodating. My dad also has a dog. The room was kept up at 12:00 each day for a week. Aseri and they're staff were very professional. Thank you Super 8 for being there for him.

I got a smoking room it was very clean and awesome to be sble to smoke in my room.

Good location, close to shops and restaurants. The rooms are clean.

Lower rate then nearby places. Close to many restaurants/fast food. Clean room.

This is a great local and reasonably priced hotel. Interestingly, the rooms have microwave, refrigerators, and a Continental breakfast is also offered. For the guest who is looking for a clean stay and close to Crystal Lake amenities this is a very good choice.

Our room was dirty and it smelled like cigarettes in non smoking section. The receptionist was unkind and did not care. Would not recommend this place to anyone for 100$ per night.

Location = convenient Price = fair Service = outstanding Rooms = what you'd expect from a 2 star hotel.

Noisey, a couple screaming and hitting each other, room next door had TV blasting all night, not the cleanest of hotels I've been to. Nice staff, clean rooms, has WI first fair selection of TV channels, fridge microwave and coffee in room, very small free breakfast.

Beds uncomfortable. Other than that, it was fine.

Spent 5 nights there and after 2 days I noticed bumps on my skin. I've never had a case of bed bugs before so wasn't sure what was going on. By the last day my body is covered with bites and welts. Room 215. It's a clean looking place but the BUGS!

Stay here! I like Super 8 to begin with but the rooms in this one are alot nicer. Good location too. Based on older reviews I would say they have turned things around.

78.57 per night nice girl at desk check in was fast only fault is smell of. Weed and the piss stains on sheet witch were never changed wont be back.

Very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was just enough.

12/26/2014 Bedbugs found in our room. Health Department will be notified immediately on Monday! Seems like they knew about it, when we checked in the first room, the mattresses were up against the wall, and they put us in another room. Both beds infested. Ruined the holiday trip.

The best, I have been staying here for a year now.

Spent the weekend, this was as nice as expected. Clean room, nice decor, and easy stay. Good cont. Breakfast bar. I will return soon.

Great location, and even without AAA its a good price for 1 night. If I had to stay 2 I'd go somewhere a little nicer. Breakfast was OK, but there was no fruit at all. Room smelled like cheap frebreeze. Price reflects the conditions really, it was average. I'd go again if I was going thru that part of town.

This place was good and service was the best. Loved it. Nice room with all kind of needs. I highly recomn. For next person.

There was hair on the sheets and burn holes in the sheets. I reserved a non-smoking room, but received a room that had 3 ashtrays and smelled like smoke. There are no outlets in the bathroom, and no outlets near the mirror in the room. I slept terribly because of how dirty I felt laying on the sheets. I took a shower the next morning and set the water at a comfortable temperature. The water would fluctuate from the temperature that I set it at to scolding hot and all the way to cold and back. Do not stay at this hotel. Its a nightmare. The person I spoke to when I checked out, would not give me any type of a refund and he claimed that my room was a non smoking room (three ashtrays and the smell of smoke, I don't think so).

Not very pleased. Carpet in room felt sticky. The shower Saturday night was warm and on Sunday morning it was cold. Breakfast was very limited.
