This was our second time staying here. We love it! excellant location and the staff is amazing. Super accommodating and helpful. We will stay there here again.

The staff never missed a beat and always made sure we were taken care of. Clean, quiet room with a great view. Awesome little hotel that is underrated in my opinion.

Check to make sure everything works before you unpack. First room I was in, toilet didn't flush. Luckily I came in early in the morning and had reserved the room from the night before so people weren't busy. Manager came right up and said he'd have to get a plunger or I could move rooms. I moved. He was great and escorted me to the new room. The hot water in the shower didn't work in the second room. I called down and a woman said I'd have to wait for the engineer for 30 minutes. I asked to switch rooms again because I just came off an 8 hour flight and just really wanted a hot shower and to take a nap. They said they would upgrade me to a king room. Yes the room has a king bed but it's smaller, the closet is a little triangle of a closet and I lost my view of the city. Thank goodness I'm just here for work by myself.

Girl at the front desk with the curly hair is the WORST. Whether you're checking in or checking out or saying good morning, she acts like you're not there, until she's done with whatever the hell she's doing before she acknowledges you. Terrible first impression. Otherwise, suite was very nice, clean, loved the amenities (came with a kitchen) ; although they have a washer in the suite but you have to buy the detergent (lame). Would go there again, hopefully I wouldn't have to deal with the rude attendant.

Compared to big city hotels, Comfort Suites have huge rooms along with a kitchen and living area. They also serve breakfast for all guests. There is not much of a view from the rooms, but you can see a small part of the river from my room facing Michigan Avenue. The reason for not giving all 5 stars is because of the fact the entryway has a revolving door, where you cannot fit an umbrella stroller and the other door is not automatic. It gets really hard to get out or in of the hotel with a stroller. The front desk people even if they see you struggling, they have never come to hold the door.

Location is pretty legit, walking or biking distance to so many museums and restaurants. The price was decently cheap for chicago, service kind of lacking though no one has brought towels even though I asked this morning (currently 11p. M), just small things like that. LOVE the kitchenette in the room even though the appliances are kinda wonky, should supply dish soap and sponge though. Room size is pretty decent too, the only downside is the tiny TV in the master bedroom. View is pretty nice, beautiful tall buildings outside of our room.

Great rooms. Good breakfast. Great location. Could use some maintenance. Friendly staff. Just about anything you'd need they have.

Loved it here. Very clean and quiet. Great location with Starbucks across the street. Breakfast was very good too. Room had a great view and because it was a kitchenette it was well equipped for an extended stay. Parking was an issue but welcome to Chicago! Thanks!

Pros : Location, location, location. One gets the feeling of a one bedroom/ two bedroom apartment right in the heart of the city with everything within walking distance. Fresh, warm breakfast served daily. Cons : Lack of big size serving spoons in the cutlery drawer. Housekeeping is not consistent. They don’t stock up the used items. One has to ask at the reception always for items. Dishwashing liquid and scrubber was missing. The sofa bed didn’t have a flat sheet. Paid extra for city view room instead got to view the AC vents of the other hotels.

Very noisy AC, only 2 elevators with big queues. Overall quite old and beaten up hotel. Very well located though.

Excellent location for sightseeing. Good selection of breakfast foods. Comfortable King bed. Fold out sofa and toddler pack n play were not as comfortable as queen bed, but for the price and location we made it work. Would recommend.

Stopped by to pick up some friends to go to a White Sox game. The room was very nice. Very spacious and stocked with amenities. Their room even had a washer/dryer, and dishwasher if you need to stay for a longer period of time.

This hotel is categorized as a 4-star hotel, but lacks a restaurant, bar, exercise facility, and pool. The staff was very friendly, and the rooms were ok, but not 4 star caliber (dated, small TVs, small bathroom). The price was right and the location is great. I would rate higher if Comfort Suites Michigan Avenue want pretending to be a 4 star hotel.

Unexpected and welcome surprise! A gem among a sea of highrise accommodations You will Love the unique layout of the rooms. It gives this hotel more of a "private residence" feel than the typical cookie cutter rooms on offer by many other hotels. It's a Santa apart/stand alone location.

The staff are all great! Very helpful with directions and maps. I appreciate the noon checkout time. If free breakfast were extended til 10am, it might help ease elevator wait times and crowfing. Had to wait more than once because elevator was too full. Nice assortment of breakfast items and having the list of menu options in the room was a simple idea, but helpful. Nice rooms with everything we needed including multiple charging ports, even washer/dryer!

Neatly tucked into Michigan avenue it's a welcome retreat for those not wanting the long commute back home after a fun time in the city. Found a deal on king size bed with great views on the 22nd floor. Room had all the comforts of home even a washer and dryer.

Well, the location is fantastic. North side city view is a spectacular view of the magnificent mile. Kitchen facilities are good. Room is a little old but we'll maintained. King suites have private bedroom, while queen suites have the bedroom open to the living room (with NO door). Fine for a couple, but not so great with kids or two couples. Staff has been great, breakfast was good, halls are tight. Would come back.

This hotel is amazing! We didn't expect to have such a grand suite but we did. High end bedding, kitchen, breakfast bar… absolute quiet, except for the fire engines during the night. This hotel is just blocks from the fire house. Nice to know they are close by, especially in a highrise building. But would diffenatly go back. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

Website made it look very fancy, we booked a good room and it turned out to be a typical hotel room with a small bedroom attached to it. Breakfast was a joke! Nothing got replaced when it ran out.

Nice location, decent room. The only room I've been in yet that actually has a dishwasher built in. It was a good over night kind of place. Had fun while I was there that's for sure. The breakfast was very good actually. Probably my favorite part of the whole place.

Well the price-quality relation.

We're in town for the 2018 Cubs Convention and didn't want to pay the $300-400 nightly rate at the Sheraton. This place was a 5-10 minute walk across the river and we paid a fraction of that and probably have just as nice a room. The kitchenette and separate lounging area are very nice. The room (s) are clean and the staff is great. They even offered us a Pack 'n Play (crib) for our 8-month old! If you're traveling and visiting downtown, I'd highly recommend this place.

4 stars to this hotel simply because it needs some updates. The oven and stove are extremely outdated I would not recommended this hotel if you are planning on cooking a lot. Microwave isn’t great either. Refrigerator is awesome! It kept my ice in a drink frozen and the drink not frozen for 12 hours… still confused? However, the bedding is awesome and clean. The bathroom is very clean. Staff was helpful. Lemon water in lobby was great and the FREE breakfast had a lot of options to choose from!

Nice suite for our family. Pull out couch in living room area separate bedroom. Two televisions. Full kitchen with all appliances. Small Washer and dryer in other bedroom. Room was clean with plenty of blankets and pillows.

Great hotel and location. Walking distance to many things. The higher the floor, the better the room and view. Relatively quiet for a Chicago hotel. Good option to stay at when exploring Chicago!

Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… This hotel's staff was the most unprofessional employees I have ever encountered. First off they completely over charged my card. I agreed to pay a certain amount for my stay then when I checked out I noticed that there was an extra $50 added (a seperate charge from the holding fee they charge when you first get to the hotel). Secondly when I first checked in I gave them a Visa card for the room charges and a discover card for the $50 hold. Before he swiped my card I asked him did he understand and he even repeated what I said. The next day after check out I realized that not only did they add $50 to my total hotel room charges but there was both the $50 hold on the visa AND the discover card. I called and tried to explain this to the staff and the man was acting as if it was my fault that they put all these extra charges on my card. He was not trying to work with me at all and on top of it I asked for an apology for the inconveniences and he said for what. I won't even explain the whole conversation because it is upsetting me just to be thinking about it again. I am disgusted with this hotel and will never stay here again. I have told my friends and family members to not go through with their reservations for our event. The hotel room was nice but it is not worth the extremely disrespectful staff members.

Pretty well equipped and reasonably priced for downtown Chicago. The staff are friendly and helpful, too. It's easily walking distance from everything and a great choice for the business or conference traveler that doesn't want to rely on expensive hotels for everything. A note: bring your own dish detergent for the times that you don't want to use the dishwasher. Besides that minor detail, this was a great choice!

Very spacious rooms. Polite helpful staff. Checked into a suite as there was 4 of us. Did not provide enough towels or sheets for the pull out bed but 1 quick call to the front desk and everything was brought up to us. Breakfast was good not great.

Fully furnished room — kitchen with all the appliances, utensils, etc. Living room, private nook reading area. Service was good and free complimentary breakfast was good as well. My only complaint would be, as with any major city, is parking. No valet parking or curbside pick up or drop off. We ended up parking in a garage about 2.5 blocks away and with all the luggage and 3 kids at 9 at night, not ideal. Location is right on Michigan Ave strip so everything is conveniently located. Would highly recommend.

Enjoyed my stay here. Nothing amazing, but a pretty solid deal. Great location for proximity to the park as well as the river walk area. Suite was large and clean, everything in working order. Room was high up enough and the hotel is small enough that there were very few rooms on my floor, which I believe led to a rather quiet stay. One snafu with my room card not working that was remedied immediately. Free breakfast was nothing to write home about, but who's expecting that?

Good！ I like this place. It's suitable for family trip. I prefer the kitchen than bedroom space. It's still like I am in the home. But the parking fee is a little expensive. It's 48dollars overnight!

My presidential suite was not as described. It was 1 floor and not 2 with a spiral staircase as shown in the booking images. The suite was also smaller than expected. The water pressure was bad, with the shower completely losing pressure reducing it to a trickle a few times. When it wasn't losing pressure, the shower sounded like a tea kettle. The hallway smelled very musty. At the Continental breakfast I found moldy oranges in the fruit basket so I ended up paying to eat elsewhere. The staff seemed nice and the location is good, but I don't think I could recommend it given all the problems I described and the price being charged.

Perfect location. Parking is $48 a night and around the corner. Lobby small, dark and muggy, but rooms light with good windows, washer and dryer and kitchen. Fairly clean. Staff have varying degrees of interest. Rooms not consistently stocked. I would definitely put up with these small wrinkles for the location. Eat early to avoid breakfast crowd. Good value.

The staff was very kind and welcoming. Fifteen minutes after we got into our room the sweet man who checked us in called and asked if our room was okay. He sounded genuine. Our room was spacious and like a mini apartment. It felt very nice. Location was fantastic! We were minutes away from all of the touristy spots. Downside: our city view room faced air conditioning unit and a parking garage. Both of my daughters liked this hotel more than the one we spent the previous night in which was pricier and fancier but not as family friendly. Another down side was the hotel air conditioning (the ones our room overlooked) was out everywhere except for in the rooms. I felt awful for the fantastic staff that had to work in a stuffy, hot lobby. The layout of the hotel was unusual and felt awkward as we tried to navigate our way around other guests in narrow hallways. The hotel is also ready for an update. The hotel directed us to a parking garage they said would give us a discount. The parking garage guy wasn't having any of it. Those all pretty minor issues that were really out weighed by the value of our room and the great staff.

This hotel is conveniently located on Michigan Avenue and surrounded by everything there is to do in Chicago. We still had a decent view despite the location of the room in the building. Overall, the hotel was pretty nice and I was pleased with the room and the service. However, the elevator is an absolute nightmare as there are only two and one is only big enough for about 4 people. They also take forever to reach each floor. Not to mention the floor we were on for some reason only had about four rooms on it. The breakfast was good as it was complimentary as well as the Wi-Fi which, this is one of the only hotels in the city that offer those two items at no cost.

Anytime you're stayingin a big city and your hotel is a high rise, it isn't a normal experience. You get a great view elevated of the city in exchange for a tiny lobby. Aside from that, and the fact that it was July 4th, everything else was nice. Clean hotel, nice breakfast, knowledgeable desk staff, who were also nice. I have stayed at this hotel twice now, once with my wife and once for work. Both times have been beyond expectations. Being a Choice Diamond member has its perks, as on my latest visit I received a free upgrade to the Executive Suite on the 24th floor. The view was amazing, full kitchen, private laundry, and a balcony. The staff was more than friendly and willing to help. I recommend this hotel to anyone interested in staying withing walking distance of Navy Pier, Millennium Park, House of Blues, and shopping. I will definitely be staying here everytime we come back to Chicago.

Huge and clean room, not very comfortable bathroom (shower fixed which makes it even more annoying the absence of the bidet), breakfast so so in a small room, Wi-Fi shaky, excellent location to say the least, on Washington Avenue a stone's throw from the Cloud Gate.

The hotel was right in downtown chicago by the river walk so it was a great location. The room was clean and they offered a free breakfast which was good. I would have given it 5 stars, but due to the position of the building, you could not get great views of the city. But if you are just looking for a good hotel in a great location and the veiw is not important I would definitely recommend this hotel.

So fresh and so clean clean! thatch so appropriate to sum up this boutique hotel because the rooms are very clean and they use Fresh brand bath and body products which is a bonus. Good location, near the ferry building which has a lot of good organic restaurants. Really felt like we had our own place in San Fran! would def stay here again.

GREAT room. Comfy bed, kids slept in pull out sofa, and there was a full kitchen with dishes included. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was good, only downside is since I've never traveled before the busy city parking is annoying. They need to have parking on the same side of the street so I'm not carrying luggage and watching 2 kids and my handicapped husband try getting across stupid chicago roads where nobody knows how to drive.

Showed up and our room had its carpet shampooed and was still drying. They moved us to a suite on a different floor. Great staff and they always gave good suggestions on food and activities.

Would give 0, the comfort suites are the worst, they charged my credit card 212.32 aud even tho we pre-paid the hotel and when I tried to get this rosolved the recepition desk just kept putting me on hole. When I asked to speak to the duty manager he or she was not there. They also did an additional pre-auth for 142.17 I wouldnt recommend this hotel to anyone and will also be righting a review on yelp terrible. Ok so I finally managed to speak to some who advised that they have evidence of smoking in the room but could not provide any proof even tho no one smoked in the room at all. There were 4 of us and out of the 4 only one smoked who went down past recepition every time to have a smoke.

Clean, excellent location, valet service. Stayed over for the Halloween weekend. After seeing the lobby I was extremely surprised at such spacious rooms. I've exclusively been a Choice Hotels customer for years, would even respond with the 5 stars if they'd return to the larger or hot selections in the complimentary breakfast. Plenty of toast and juice these days.

Hotel was in a good location however it was not in great condition. Also the refrigeratoe was broken and we didnt notice until the morning.

The hotel was wonderful. Everybody there was so kind and helpful. It's located on michigan avenue in the middle of everything. Very clean, and the breakfast was delicious. The rooms were fully furnished with anything you can think of, like a mini apartment. The staff all signed a merry Christmas card, adding to the enjoyment.

I was very surprised with the size of the room. Was like a nice little apartment. Enjoyed the view of downtown from the 23rd floor. Will for sure be booking another room there again the next time I'm in town.
