My fiance were in town for the draft. We selected theWit because the style was similar to our favorite Vegas hotel, The Palm. I booked the room online and received a confirmation to my email. A couple days before our check in date, I went back to the website to see if there were any upgrades or discounts available. I noticed our chosen room's price was reduced. I called the hotel to ask about the discrepancy. It took 3 calls as I kept getting transferred or disconnected after stating the reason for my inquiry. I was offered various reasons as to the price fluctuation and had to request that my room reflect the new online price. I've never stayed at a hotel that didn't have bath tub. I was looking forward to luxuriating and very disappointed that our room had only a shower. After remarking on this at the front desk at check out, I was told that 50% of the rooms offered tubs as an option. I did not see this anywhere when I booked the room, nor was it offered at the time of check-in. The room was as beautiful as the site photo, but my fiance and I were not happy with the sliding bath door. There was at least a 1 inch gap when the door was closed, which adversely affected privacy, sound and warmth when occupied. After dinner at the adjoining Tavern we were to meet up with friends at the Rooftop bar. We were denied entry and sent back down to the lobby to show ID's and check our guest status. We found this quite inconvenient and not all logical. Our friends walked in without issue, but we as guests had to ride back down in the elevator, stand in line and be checked? We feel our room key should have been sufficient ID and presenting it should have taken place on the same floor as the club. We found both our dinner and lunch the next day to be rather bland, but the cookie at check in was delicious. Customer service, cleanliness and the location was very good but we unfortunately can't guarantee a future stay.
