The room smelled clean. Excellent fixtures and furniture choices. The amenities were definitely useful. The staff were courteous and friendly. We enjoyed our stay! I was also happy that my dog +a pitbull) wasn't judged unfairly but treated as what she is… a well mannered friendly dog!

General Manager, John Raine & his staff were very kind & helpful to me. I was in a tough spot, at one point, when John & Jorge, showed me a great deal of, much-needed, compassion. Not only were they nice, but the location itself, was very clean & comfortable. I hope to visit there, once more, during this time of transition.

I liked the streamline look of the room. The room was very clean. I only wished that I knew they didn't have a coffee maker in the room. I would have brought my own little travel kettle. I need my coffee in the morning. Other than that, I liked the economy room.

My first time staying at a motel 6 in Chicago and my experience was great.! Veronica at the front desk was very friendly and knowladgable she accommodated my needs with excellence. Very helpful. Thank you.!

My only complaint about this place is that they refuse to honor “no housekeeping requests. They say it’s for security but the side door lock was broken for my entire stay. I do not like anyone coming into my room for the duration of my stay. If you don’t have a problem with this, fine. But I’ll be looking for somewhere else to stay next time.

I asked receptionist not to send cleaner to clean my room. I was in town for business. Apparently, she ignored my request and my room is being clean. It distracted me from what I need to do for business meetings. NO GOOD! I will go back to Hilton, Marriott, and AirBNB. I always use these rooms for 8 years. This Motel 6 is not what I thought. Smelly, depression, and … not right place for me. Probably it is good for someone who needs to save $$

Rooms are small and rather barren, but immaculately clean. Good mattress. Interior hallways with locking outside doors give security. I like that you can plug a computer or DVD or whatever into the TV monitor. Very good coffee in the lobby. And what a fantastic price! I will definitely stay here again.

Staff treat you with respect the price is good for the area the guest are nice and it's clean.

The room is clean and spacious great location just minutes from anywhere I would need to go very friendly and helpful staff I would highly recommend staying here and also very reasonably priced also is very quiet so easy to get rest.

Only there once. Room and whole building was clean and well maintained. Microwave was available in front lobby. Only place to eat was a Dennys on the corner. More expensive than other Motel 6's around the area.

I stayed there several times and always rented a non-smoking room. Why? because I am a non-smoker. I can't even burn incense anymore… Sooooo… I decided to chill there for New Year's weekend and enjoy some peace and quiet. I ate some food and drank some. Just a party of one, by the way… No loud music. NO SMOKING! No craziness. I left well before check out and went about my day. I got a leak in my apt and booked a last min room. Took a friend along who had flooding too. Got to the motel around 11pm. The nice lady at the counter asked me for my ID. She then told me that they wouldn't rent a room to me because I was smoking marijuana. Again, I'm a non-smoker so this didn't set too kindly with me. I then had to get a room close by that costed waaaaaay more. Spoke to "John". He said that the head maid said to him/them that they had an issue cleaning the room and that there was a strong smell of weed. (Again, I can't even burn incense, let alone smoke a cig. ) Side note, I've always gotten non-smoking rooms-because I'm a non smoker. They could've checked my history. But noooooooo they didn't. So. Not. Ok. With. This. Bs…

It's okay accommodation wise but I was disappointed they was no free Wi-Fi for the cost of the motel. No complimentary breakfast, just coffee in the morning and that is all. But it has a great environment.

I guess I'm a little confused — the price is nice, but it's really not worth taking out all the amenities (shampoo? alarm clock? coffeemaker? free Wi-Fi? really? ), especially considering Super 8 costs about the same and still offers those same things to their guests. I stayed there for two nights, and I was pretty well disappointed. The staff was nice, though.

The only good thing about my stay was the staff. There was no free Wi-Fi, and the bed was so uncomfortable. I had gotten in from a flight from 900 miles away and I couldn’t sleep because the bed being so uncomfortable.

Super easy check-in. The grounds are a little sketchy at night. Once inside it's definitely a great value. Mainly due to the cleanliness of the rooms. There is no carpet, no heavy nasty bedspreads, no bedskirts. Those are all great pluses, especially because this is a pet friendly location. There is nothing worse than going in to a room that smells like dog pee. I highly recommend for the economy traveler!

Nice and friendly staff! The room was immaculate! Better than any Motel 6 I've stayed in thus far! The color and decor was exactly like the website. Photos. The location was nice and quaint… Nestled in a beautiful area with ample amount of restaurants surrounding.

One of the better Motel 6. Well kept, we'll maintained. Would come back for another stay. They don't get 5 stars simply because about 85% of the time I would come out the side door (I have a dog and asked for easy in/out access), there would be a gang of people there and it made me feel rather unsafe. There are no security cameras and at least 90% of the time, these people were either drinking or drugging or both. My last night there was a sleepless one since there was a party going on all night out on the door stoop. I was concerned for my safety so I didn't say anything to the front desk. Those people would probably have known it was me complaining.

Great location, definitely a cheaper price than anywhere else in Arlington Heights. Rooms are decent for the price. Service was fine.

I'd like to say I was very satisfied with my stay at this motel. Veronica and staff were very helpful for my needs and service. I also have to say I was impressed in how clean the room was, like new. The cleaning staff does a great job! If in the area in the future this I will stay at this motel.

You forgot to leave the light on as you advertise. Very basic room. Surprised it even had a TV. It was clean overall and overnight stay was peaceful. Staff was friendly and helpful. Short wait to get room key. Good value overall.

Motel 6 was selected by me during my 8 day exploration of USA attractions as a tourist mainly because of the locations of the accommodations. The three Motel 6 that were selected were in ideal locations for my travelling purpose. They were fairly clean and all rooms were spacious. Toilets were reasonable and adequate toiletries were provided. The greatest inconvenience for a continuous traveller was lack of microwave and refrigeration facilities available even out side the room,.

The location remains convenient close to Dennys and a gas station as well as the freeway. This is my third stay at this location and I stayed on the second floor. As I walked down the hall to my room you could smell cigarettes and marijuana as you passed by rooms. On my final night there I killed a cockroach as I entered the room for the night. I am VERY disappointed and I will NOT be returning to that location when I return to Chicago next year for my convention.

I lost my ID a few months ago and apparently someone else found it, and used it to book a room here. I've been here before so the same email address was on record so I got notified that someone was there and if I could please fill out a survey. Are you kidding me? The person who checked in with my ID was obviously not me. The staff should have their eyesight checked. This could've been completely avoided if the staff did their job. Also, the person with my ID could get caught if the staff did their job. I'm beyond livid. How irresponsible, unprofessional and CARELESS of the staff to let something like this slip. I went in to Motel 6 shortly after receiving the survey email to clear everything up, and was told, "this happens all the time. " What kind of organization is this? Who lets this "happen all the time"? More importantly, WHY? Are peoples' money more important than their safety? From where I'm standing that's what it seems like. Now the person who used my ID is still out there, who knows where, but COULD'VE been justifiably caught for doing something illegal on the staff's watch. I will never bring my business to any Motel 6 again.

Extremely BAD experience, 2 rooms with broken heating units. Slept all night in the cold. Front desk did NOT give me the promised wake-up call… arrived at business meeting almost an HOUR late. Cancelled the rest of my reservation. Had stayed at this motel MANY times previous, but I will never return. They had only a front desk person and no one to fix the broken heating units. Never complained before, but this stay was a real nightmare for me.

The room looked nice, but the bed was awful. Very thin and low to the ground. The bathroom door didn't lock, which is not fun when you're there with a colleague.

The location is prime and the price is just right for someone who needs a no-frills place to stay while taking in the local entertainment with their SO. You're mere minutes from Streets Of Woodfield and there's a Denny's, a fancy steakhouse, and two convenient stores within walking distance. The modern overhaul is very nice but this locations goes not without its quirks; the thermostat in each room can get a little weird, the front desk staff is friendly but not always adequate at all times of the day, and the noise can sometimes be an issue. The rooms are clean but the bathrooms leave a bit to be desired, as the water pressure in the showers is quite poor. None of these are gamebreakers for me, though. For fifty bucks a night I can't really make any serious complaints.

They wouldn't let me continue to stay here due to my dog barking when ppl knocked on door… I keep her n a secure dbl lock cage paid them there $ and now they say I can't stay here. Look dont bring ur pet here they don't understand a dogs nature is to bark. If u stay here if u don't have a shock collar don't come here gof to red roof Inn they won't have pettiness about a bark or two… this place doesn't deserve ur haRd earned $300 a week also u r not allowed to go to work if u have a pet with u staying here or go to have pre op surgery.

We reviewed previous reviews to check out the area and cleanliness. Since it did get good remarks we chose this one. Upon arrival there was police, whatever happened ended quickly and we didn't see anyone arrested. Our room itself was very nice and remodeled. No fridge, iron, or ammedities. Beds are comfortable. The only issue we had was unruly neighbors, partying and shouting til 4 am. After complaining to the front desk about it, we learned they did kick them out, and we was offered a complimentary gift certificate to stay for free at a Motel 6 in the future. It's to bad there was bad guests that night, and I know things happen beyond their control. For the overall though, I would recommend this place. It is clean, seems like a nice neighborhood, and the price was great. They also handled our situation with courtesy, and was very nice. Would of given 5 if it hadn't been for the other guests, and seeing the police there when we initially came in, even though it was probably out of their control. Just wasn't something I liked to see when coming into a place I'm staying.
