I was surprised how clean and comfortable this hotel was. Pulling up it had a very dated look on the outside but we were pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. Breakfast both mornings was delicious and the people working the weekend of the Illinois Marathon were so friendly. I'd definitely stay here again.

Excellent, spacious, clean and comfy rooms. Priced just right with friendly staff. The restaurant have great food with excellent cooks. I love this place and visit often.

I was turned away at check-in because my room was not ready. I was told that they would call when our room was ready. After 2 hours I was finally given a room. It was NOT what I had booked. The staff were rude about the whole situation. To top it off I was still charged for a room I didn't get! It literally ruined our weekend plans. Don't waist your $.

Hotel seemed clean and we'll maintained. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Smaller conference room, but worked well for our group of 30 or so.

The room was nice, very spacious with a full kitchen. We loved the king sized beds! But the upstairs shower leaked into the downstairs bathroom. We called for maintenance, and they sent someone, but not until the end of our stay.

I absolutely love this place! Wonderful and friendly staff. Huge rooms — extremely clean. An excellent heated pool with fitness room attached. Gas stations and resturants in view from the property. Nice hot buffet breakfast in the morning and an onsite bar with gaming to unwind in the evening. We stayed a single night but I now plan to choose Eastland for future events with longer stays. I was totally relaxed and comfortable. I can't say enough good things!

Great food, big pool, amazing staff. This hotel is amazing. The front desk staff are amazing so are the kitchen staff. The housekeepers are super nice. I love the fresh breakfast. The Omelette Bar is so yummy. You also get a free drink when you come during happy hour.

If I could give negative stars I would, I called with questions about a room and the person answering the phone knew little to nothing about it and then after a long wait goes to tell me kids aren't even allowed in that room so basically I wasted time out of my life for no answers and couldn't get the room anyway. The person answering the phones should be knowledgeable about the rooms and if a guest says I have questions try asking what the room is for before wasting 20mins of everyones time while you rush around asking people questions you don't know the answers to. I will never get a room here.

Lil out dated, but noce and staff is very helpful. Had my Aunts 48th bday here.

The staff is absolutely amazing. Accommodating and professional. While the food isnt the BEST ive ever had, its certainly nothing to shake a stick at either.

I had an incident occur where I wasn’t able to make my reservation. My card was charged the full amount for not canceling on time. After speaking with the general manager, Tracy, she was very understanding and gave me another chance to chose another night at the luxurious Eastland Suites! Now, I feel like a valued guest!

Friendly guests and service. Good selection of breakfast options. Allowed a late check-out with no hassle. Upgraded me to a suite.

Place looks much better online than itbeas in person. Projected did not work bathrooms were gross holds in the wall showing bare concrete. Etc. Also no pizza before 5

We stayed here for an SCA event and after party. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the party room had glass doors to help with sound control and plenty of seating. The breakfast was wonderful for a bunch of tired adults and for the children as well.

Love this hotel! We get the apartments when we are in town, this year we were surprised with a fireplace! Staff is great and the breakfast is always good!

Urbana Illinois was the location and we stayed because it was our 4 year anniversary and we had stayed on our honeymoon back in 2013 so figured it wld be jus as amazing lol totally wrong! Rooms were not clean, hair all over towels, horribly loud neighbors at midnight, just needs updated and taken care of.

We stayed 3 nights. The rooms are clean but the fitted sheets do not fit the matress very well it kept popping off. The bathroom has no counter space no place to keep toiletries at all. We were given a free drink coupon dated for Sunday 11.26.17 only to find out the bar is closed on Sunday's. Geez.

Very clean comfortable room. Great hot Breakfast. Big pool and work out room. Has bar onsite. Walking distance to a couple different restaurants.

Eastland suites was awesome. The staff was friendly, the house cleaning person even helped with my bags down the stairs. The room was bigger that most hotels that charge the exact same. I was unable to make it to the pool or other amenities. The also offer 2 free drinks for a reception of sorts between 5 and 7. I definatly will stay again when I go down there again.

Just had one of the worst experiences dealing with Eastland Suites Hotel & Conference Center in Urbana, Illinois. I still cannot believe how bad the experience was. My friends were getting married in Champaign, Illinois and blocked off rooms at the Eastland Suites for the wedding. I had called weeks ago to make a reservation for the wedding and told her just needed the night of the wedding ad she said okay. Then when I go to check into the hotel, they said they cannot find my name in the system. The woman on the phone had misspelled my name and address in the system. She also booked me the night before the wedding! The clerk told me oh it looks like you were supposed to have departed today! I said no, I had this booked under the wedding party and the wedding is tonight, why would I only stay the night before? The staff were very confrontational and rude and were not wanting to help. They were saying things like it was my fault when I had to call and specifically say what wedding it was for and had to say the date of the wedding. At this point, the reception was 90 min away and they said sorry, but there is nothing we can do for you. It is all booked up. They didn't even offer a refund, I had to request that and they seemed put out to at least give me a refund when they booked me the wrong night. We then had to quickly find another hotel. This was just a terrible experience which was supposed to have been a fun time for a wedding.

Had a real nice time or you might say "stay" at Eastland Suites. Nice hot breakfast… nice haeted pool. Weight room and exercise equipment. Easy access off the freeway. Four thumbs up!

Room although big was dark, stale odor and felt like it could use a good sprucing up and deep cleaning. Could use a small table and chairs to sit on. The couch had no support so you sank into it. The hotel is by some industrial area and felt that it could be dicey. The bed was comfortable do that was a plus.

Very nice hotel. The room I've stayed in is very nice and I really appreciate the full kitchen as I love to cook. Having a daily buffet breakfast and a complementary drink from their bar is a huge plus. The cleaning staff, desk staff and all I've encountered have been incredibly friendly. It makes my long term stay for my work contract very comfortable.

Pleasantly surprised with my visit and stay. My room, double beds, was very spacious. The bar and snack area was nice and we'll stocked. The pool was the most surprising feature, it was huge compared to most hotel pools, and the water was the perfect temperature. The property was very clean and well maintained. Very easy to get to, right off of I74, and then just down the road from all sorts of eateries and the University of Illinois.

I recently hosted a family reunion in my hometown of Champaign and we all stayed at ES. Conveniently located off 74 and Cunningham, it's very easy to and also get around town. We stayed in the Extended Stay 2 floor suite and it was PERFECT for hosting smaller gatherings. We piled all the cousins into the room for pre and post events which was a perfect setup. The way the unit is outlined is great — the kitchen & living room are right off the entry. The couch/desk was located between the living room and the bed area so it did make it feel like separate areas. It was a great place for us to all gather prior to going out — the kitchen table and couch were our main spots. Also great to have a bed where the kids could also relax on when we were hanging out. The upstairs area was great! Private and super room with a nice sized closet, vanity area & separate toilet & shower (same for downtstairs bedroom as well) Things I loved about Eastland Suites: The Staff — incredibly attentive, super helpful Breakfast — great for the pricepoint Extended Stay — VERY comfortable & great for business Pool — the kids loved it! My aunt stayed in one of the hotel rooms in the main area and loved that it had a fridge and room to spread out so the extended stay aspect The shuttle!

EXCELLENT! Wonderful place — rooms are very clean and comfortable — the staff is WONDERFUL. We just had our family reunion there over the weekend and EVERYONE was so accommodating. Thank you for such a GREAT time and cherished memories.

On site for a class. Room was adequate but tables too small and chairs super uncomfortable. Not appropriate for such a long class.

Previously had a jacuzzi suite in the main building for our wedding night, and booked again for our anniversary. While the room in the new sections were still jacuzzi suites, they were such much smaller and less impressive. And for the same price. All in all I was not impressed. The staff was super friendly though.

My last stay was Feb 25 and we went to the Red Hot Party at Jupiters. The room was spotless and huge. We had a drink before we left and played the casino games and won $100. Then they offered to drive us in the van. Breakfast was great-staff great.

We had my youngest sons bday party at eastland suites in urbana illinois in the illini room. It was a great experience and very clean.

Love the service and what they have to offer. The rooms are comfortable and I look forward to to staying there every week I come back to Urbana.

I don't normally have the desire to write a review online but my family and I had a great experience at Eastland Suites. We were in town for the marathon (My husband and I, my parents, and my high school age brother). We shared the king suite, which had two king size beds in a loft set up, 2 bath rooms, and a pull out sleeper sofa. All for only $144. It also had a kitchen area with a full fridge, table, stove, sink, and dishes. When we checked in we got out complimentary drink tickets for the bar, and Greg the bartender was one of the nicest people, he helped my parents figure our how to get to the race without getting stuck in traffic. The place was not as up-to-date decorated as a Holliday Inn Express would be but it was well-maintained, very clean, well-lighted, and the beds and linens were soft and cozy. Oh and they have a full breakfast bar in the morning. I wish there were more moderately priced hotels like this around.
