Basic Motel. There were ants crawling around in the room the bottom of the shower with spongy and there was way too much light coming in under the door you could tell that it had been remodeled rooms look nice. Bedding was too big for the beds as the sheets moved and bunched up all night long. There was only one Outlet in the room and that was in the bathroom so it was very difficult to charge phones Etc. A little more thought in the amenities and it would be a great place to stay.

Stay away! The entire interior of the hotel property had this stale, musty smell. The hallways are not air conditioned and as a result the doors are left open for anyone to walk through. The entire property had a feel of one of those places you see in a horror movie. The front desk staff were more interested in their i-phone than in customer service, although the check-in staff was friendly. No breakfast… the one-night stay was worth perhaps $40.00 including tax, but not $55.00. I was warned by the Convenience Store staff next door at BP to please be careful because the property was often home to some very unsavory characters. The only positive thing I can say about the place was that I did have a good night's sleep. No bed bugs.

"Desperately" need new pillows and quality pillow covers. Sound quality of the LG TV very poor. Like the hard floors. Good choice for when I have my dog along. New owners there and they seemed apprehensive. Can't blame them since they have a lot of work ahead of them in upgrades. Great location. Should be successful long term, if they attend to detail. I wish them well.

Awesome staff that’s willing to assist, Clean rooms, clean hallways, right in the middle of everything but still enough privacy. No grief, customers comes first here, Very satisfied. I’m a recording musician, been wrapping up vocal tracks in the room, not complete sound isolation but good enough for privacy. Been here two nights, just booked three more, they made it easy and affordable.

This is the second time we have stayed here. Very nice, quiet, clean place to stay. Staff is friendly and very accommodating. We will continue to stay here in the future when we are in the area. It's so close to ISU. I would Definitely recommend to my friends and family.

Wow, I slept like a rock at this place. So quiet. Room was clean. It was just what we needed. THANK YOU! Great Customer service & hospitality, good night sleep made up for the mediocre front desk service. Stay here if you are in the area. Well worth the price.

I could hear people in the hallway all through the night, the door did not block out any noise. AND from 10:30PM to 11:30PM I counted 8 vehicles that pulled in the parking lot and the people came in to the hotel for anywhere between 5 minutes and a half hour. Not sure what was going on but something was going on. And last but not least it seems as though there was maybe 20 people that live in the far end of the hotel. Oh and the free coffee… the thermal carafe looked dirty, I walked across the street and got coffee at the gas station. Almost forgot when I checked in there was a big glob of hair on the front corner, the person at the front desk quickly swept it onto the floor. I will probably never stay at a Motel 6 again. I want to rate it 0 stars but it won't let me do that!

Very nicely updated Liked the wood floor Shower was clean and the room was quiet Beds Very Comfortable It was nice to have a small refrigerator in the room EXCELLENT Experience.

Room and facility were dirty… shower floor was dirty looking, made me feel I needed my shots. The redeeming quality was the very nice gentlemen at the front desk. I didn't complain as the hallways and stairwells all looked dirty, so I felt it was moot.

I'm not sure how the motel was before new management and renovations, but honestly, for a very affordable motel, this place is better than a lot of the higher end places I've stayed. At first I was skeptical. The hallways faintly smelled like cigarettes, but that makes sense since there are smoker rooms. The quality of the room surprised me, aside from no lock on the bathroom door, everything else worked well. For the price, you can't beat it. The customer service was great, they're all very friendly people. This is my go-to motel for whenever I'm visiting ISU. — Mike B.

Room was clean. The hot water took a good 10-15 minutes to get hot. Staff was good. Easy to talk to and gave me the room I wanted. Will stay again.

Rooms were outdated as far as electrical outlets for charging phones and electronics. Sheets had stains and cigarette burns. Water pressure in sink was poor. Price was great as was front desk staff. Cleanliness was good. We would stay there again for one night.

Great place to stay. People are very friendly and helpful. It's a clean place and it has Wifi.

Motel 6 is a great place to stay with you and your family when you want a great night's REST and the employees are very friendly and and have top of the line room service take it from HaTTz later people zzzzzzzzzzz.

Good price. Front desk clerk was accommodating. Building was grungy and smelled like cigarette smoke.

This was not our best experience with motel6. We occupied 4 rooms. They were not as clean as they should have been. Dead bugs on the floor, and such. One room also had dirty bedding. The reception came and changed the sheets, but it did not leave me with a confidence I should have had when staying here.

Hallway reeked of cigarettes. Room wasn't disgusting but definitely could have been a lot cleaner. Staff was very friendly.

This place is by far the best in Town (Bloomington/Normal) They are fairly priced and the rooms are very clean and sanitary. Also the room is up to standard of beung updated. The staff is wonderful and they are very concerned with your stay and will do anything for it to be a great experience. I highly recommend this hotel. Who's better.

My room was supposed to be a "smoke-free" room yet the blanket was full of cigarette holes. Also, the room had a funny smell so my guess is that someone was smoking in the room prior to my arrival. Lastly, the room was touted as a "quality" room and if this is quality, I'd like to know what is the bottom!

This fit the bill for what I needed. However, the cleanliness of the the shower enclosure left a lot to be desired. Also every single towel in the bathroom had what I can only hope and assume were bleach stains. The bed was surprisingly comfy and the location was perfect.

This is a hotel with awesome customer service with a well lit parking lot. Our room was just alright the shower was dirty and had mold and mildew growing on shower door. The Door was hard to close on shower. Bed had cigarette burns on comforter and we stayed in non smoking. Kinda just had a musty smell to room. Wish bed came with more than 2 pillows on bed but ask front desk for more and he gave us extra pillows. Bed was a little uncomfortable but for a cheap place to lay your head it was good enough for wife and I. Just a few touch ups this place would be on point.

Felt very Third World. No one I encountered spoke English very well and some, not at all. Smelled like curry and cigarettes in the hallways. Room was too warm. Hallways are not air conditioned. Large gap under my room's door and the hallway. Also a large gap along the door's locking side. Smell of Third World hallway drifts in. Helped to stuff bath towel in the gap under the door. This is a franchise NOT company owned facility.

Room was very clean, apart from the shower, which was old. Toilet ran a little extra water if the handle was not adjusted correctly, but not too bad. Customer service was great! Hallways were not air conditioned, but it makes sense since there were only about 5 rooms used in the entire place. Overall very nice and would stay again.

I stay here whenever I come home. There is reason I do, they are always so very Accommodating. I like the look and feel of the rooms. They have the sweetest staff. Always awesome!

The room was clean & nice. I have never stayed at Motel 6, and was completely satisfied. Staff friendly, great price. Would stay again.

The service when I arrived was ok. However, I wasn't aware that I could've used my veterans discount with Motel 6. If at all possible, please credit me? The shower stall could've been cleaner. The room only had one outlet with the exception of the 2 in the washroom. That was not good at all. I don't feel safe charging my electronics/mobile phone and accessories in any washroom. There was no one at the desk upon my check out. Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide on my request/concerns.

The big sign outside said under new management and recently renovated. The inside of the rooms were renovated 7 or 8 years ago when you changed. Not newly… The shower was stained, the sink was stained so it all looked dirty. It all needed replaced. Every thing showed wear and tear. Not new… The wash cloth I pulled out had black stains and should have never been put in a room. The bath mat looked like someone had wiped their greasy boots on it. This is not an exaggeration. Enough about the room. There were permanent residents hanging around the halls and outside. The halls were dirty and smelled bad. The landscaping was not taken care of. All I can say is "If you had 30 — 40 guests that night that is 30-40 guests that will say I will never stay in a Motel 6 again" You as a company are only as good as your worst motel. I can send pictures if you want to contact me directly. Front desk person was running around taking care of things. I had no ice bucket in my room. Then he gave me one and the ice machine didn't work so he gave me a bag of ice from his freezer.

Clean towels had black/mold stains on them from possibly not being dried completely after washing. Had to take to front desk for replacement. Toilet wouldn't flush down all the way. Had to get plunger to plunge toilet numerous times over the two day stay. Overflowed once and I had to clean it up! Ended up keeping the plunger in the room for the duration of the stay. Shower hardly put out any water. The bathroom sink put out more water than the shower! The outdoor pool wasn't even open. How can this be during the summer when the outside temperature is almost 90 degrees! I should get a complete refund for this two night stay. Very disappointed. Stayed here in the past and didn't have this experience! Probably won't stay here again. Supposedly new Management? Bring back the "old" management!

It was pretty good the beds where good but small.

The all time worst hotel ever created get the first room door lock is broke filthy had potato chip can lid and toenail clippings get a second room not hot water not even hooked up Ac set at 60 it's almost 80 call front desk to tell them about hot water we can put you in another room won't even give partial refund when threatened to check out and go to another hotel well we will only give a $20 credit back that was after called customer service gonna call corporate office Monday.

During my stay, the bathroom had a dirty towel hanging behind the door and open soap on the floor behind the door which shows poor housekeeping service then under both beds were garbage, and cigarrettes under the other which again shows poor house keeping service. There were no smoking signs every where but upon entering the building and through the halls all you smell was cigarett smoke. But when I asked for late check out the front desk was accommodating and when at checkout I presented her with my complaint and pictures she assured me she would report it. I asked if I could be accommodated with a free room. My daughter attends ISU and I'm there all the time and stay at your hotel for most my visits.

The room was not clean. When I arrived there were cigarette ashes and hair in the sink. The motel didn't have free Wi-Fi for the guests; I paid $2.99 per device to be able to connect. There were items that were taken from my room, and the response from the desk clerk was would you like to file a police report. I will never recommend or stay at this location again.

My wife and I arrived in the evening. The check-in experience was fine; staff was friendly enough. The room didn't come close to meeting expectations. Accommodations consisted of a small cube with white, undecorated walls (clearly painted in a rush, since I noted paint spatter as far away as the front of the TV) and the minimum of cheap furnishings. The room smelled strongly of mold or mildew, as well as the faint odor of smoke. The door was slightly too small for the frame, so we heard plenty of noise from the other clientele well into the night. The floors weren't vacuumed well. The room was a bit chilly when we arrived (they'd been running the heat), but the air from the HVAC system was moldy enough that my wife immediately started coughing when we turned the heat on. To one side was the bathroom, which was sufficient, except that the sink was completely clogged. Would not stay again due to both the odors and the noise levels we experienced.

It is what you would expect for the money. Hallways and some of the doors were less than average. To my surprise though, the rooms were rather nice. Newer carpet, clean rooms, A/C worked, bathroom more than acceptable. Front desk employees were nice and willing to help. Disappointed that they would charge for Wi-Fi. Otherwise, if you're looking to sleep for the night and get on your way, I do recommend them.

The room was hardly cleaned. Glass in the bathroom was dirty. Soap residue from previous guests. My socks were black from walking on the carpet for 20 mins. Never again.

I chose this motel because I was looking for something pretty cheap where I could bring my dog, and I found it to be great at least for those circumstances. Obviously you have to tailor your expectations to the price you pay, and this motel is not meant to be a vacation destination or luxury get-away for a date night. However, my room was clean, everything worked, the water was hot, there were 30+ available channels on the small tv, the staff was extremely friendly, the internet was reasonably speedy for $3 per 24-hours, and the location was quiet all night. For a price of $40 including tax and no charge for my 70-lb canine companion, this motel far exceeded my expectations and I will put Motel 6 at the top of my list to check out in future travels under similar circumstances.

We needed a pet friendly hotel and had a good experience at this motel. The staff was friendly and gave great service. We didn't get a chance to enjoy the outdoor pool but it sure looked inviting. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Next door is a gas station, church, across the street is a donut shop open 24 hours, and a mall just a few blocks away. I felt safe taking the dogs out late at night. Free coffee in the morning. The building needs some work because our door was hard to open and close and the hallway carpet either needed a good cleaning or replacement.

I went there for my nephew's college graduation from May 9-12, 2013. I read the bad reviews but had little choice because of availability and expense. But once I was there, I had virtually no problems at all. The staff was very helpful and courteous, and the room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. If you really wanted to look, you could find some tiny flaws. The rubber covering the stairs was cracking, and there were tiny traces of paint spill here and there from all the painting that went on. A small whiff of muskiness in the hall at times. But this is a Motel 6, not the Ritz Carlton. The guy behind the counter told me that the new owner didn't put up with the crap that went on when the bad reviews were written 2-3 years ago. I had no problems and would go back there again in a heartbeat. And the best part, while other motels were charging $90 a weekend night for an ISU graduation weekend, I only paid $147.81, tax included, for my Thursday night to Sunday morning graduation weekend stay.

DO NOT STAY IN THIS MOTEL, we should have known better then to stay in a motel 6. The guy at the check-in desk wrote down Dads credit card number and started charging stuff the next day. We had to cancel the card. Besides that, it is an awful dirty motel. Do not stay here.
