My family and I stayed here this past weekend. We booked the Dolphin Suite in Feb. Or March for a 3 day weekend getaway. My cousin called the night before confirming our reservation and to make sure everything was a go. When we arrived we were happy to have an early check-in but we noticed that our room was NOT what we were expecting. She went down to the front desk explaining that our room was not what we booked and all they said was, sorry we gave your room to another family last night and we can give you as many roll away cots as needed without any additional charge. We decided to stay because we had this place booked since late winter and all we needed was to shower and sleep. Upon staying the dreadful 2 nights, we found ants in the bathrooms, the other bedroom w/ one double bed against a wall had no a/c and no black out curtain on the single door to the balcony. I can not believe or get over how there was NO hospitality at this place. They did not offer at least a free breakfast/lunch at their restaurant (The Taphouse) or even discounted the fee for the suite. We were not expecting a free night or weekend because we did choose to stay there but something would have been nice due to the fact they knew we were upset. At check out on Sunday, all they said to us was sorry about your stay. We will not be staying here ever again. Things to think about is that the Lobby entrance is in the road alley of 9th Street and the pool is in the parking lot. Both parking lots are very small and not accommodating for the guests. All in all, I can NOT get over the fact that they knew how upset we were and they did nothing about it.
