Room moldy, musty, Hodge podge of furnishing. Stained carpets. Dark, poor lighting/light out. Mold in carpet by AC unit, base of lamp rusted. Smelled of cats. Not the value or quality I expect from Marriott. Definitely not worth the rate I was charged.

Our family checked in after a long drive last night. We enjoyed our stay, family accommodations, and cleanliness of the room.

Nice place to stay. But I went out to lunch and came back my key would not work.

Very nice and wonderful customer service. We enjoyed our stay on the way to Gulf Shores, Alabama.

The hotel was nice in a convenient location. The room set up was very great. Breakfast was nice and easy to grab food. The only thing I noticed was a wet smell. The bottom floor smelled like pool which is fine. The second floor had a very distinct, odd smell. That was my only complaint.

My wife and I stayed here for the weekend of July 12th 2018. We got to the hotel around 10:30 p. M. And my wife noticed those spec crawling on the bed so I took a picture and this is what I saw. We were tired and it was late so we took the sheets off of the bed and slept the night and my wife woke up with those bites. We stayed in that room for two nights and we told the front desk about our problem and we also showed them pictures the front desk staff was awesome they moved us into a new room and did what they good to Defuse The Situation. They told me they would talk to the manager and see about reimbursing for that room. We were not looking to not pay but that was a good gesture a fair gesture. I talked to the main manager Michael and he act like I was not telling the truth I emailed him pictures but he said they were too blurred I tried to contact him several times as he ignored my attempts this is a good hotel but Michael made me bring it down to two stars because of very poor management. Once again the front desk staff is awesome but Mr Michael was not so I leave these pictures for my fellow local guides so you can be the judges. Can you tell these are bed bugs?

Although they did not have my double room when I got there they did accommodate me and the room was clean and neat. The hotel also served a great breakfast.

Great hotel. They easily accommodated for my children by upgrading us to a suite. Staff is friendly and willing to answer any questions you may have. Even pointed us in the direction of some great restaurants. This was just a halfway stop on our road trip but a delightful one indeed!

Have stayed here a few times but the last tine I did the breakfast was not good and at 9am housekeeping knocked on the door asking are we leaving and the front desk granted me a late checkout. Communication needs to be better between the desk and housekeeping!

One of the best stays by far at any hotel! Staff was absolutely amazing and very friendly! Hotel was clean and easy to find. Great nights rest. Absolutely no complaints!

The accommodation is superb! The staff is very helpful and respectful. This hotel is conveniently located close to Jimmy Swaggart Ministries on Bluebonnet. The breakfast is great! I don’t have any complaints, but I will suggest 2 things to improve service. One, consider having waffles every morning for breakfast. Two, update the coffee dispensers and keep fresh coffee all night long. Thank you for your service.

Rude breakfast staff. Nicely designed rooms. Bed comfy but too close to air conditioning unit. Needs minor updates, upholstery needs cleaning, patchwork obvious on walls.

Now that the Poland hot tub are fixed, everything is top notch! The staff is always pleasant and helpful. The room is always kept fresh and clean. The only thing that could be improved is the satellite or rather the package they chose. But all in all a great place.

Many mixed views about this hotel. Upon arrival, there was a party going on next to our room on the third floor, so the lady at the desk gladly moved us to another room on the second floor. The beds were very comfortable. The room overall was very noisy, you can literally hear everything: noise from the halls and especially from above us. Also, while we were gone during the day, they did come and give us fresh towels. After looking around, though, we noticed a bottle of perfume missing. Overall, definitely not the best stay in a hotel.

Love it. Break was great. Pool was really nice. Will be returning when im back in town.

Overall it was good. Beds were comfortable, the rooms were big enough, and the breakfast was actually pretty good. My only gripe with the hotel is that the walls are very thin. We could here whenever the people above us moved. We could also hear the people in the room next to us talking. So, if you want a quiet place to sleep, this is not the hotel for you.

This place was very good. I'm in the military and travel across the country while in vacation with my family and this place is top notch for the money. It has an indoor pool and s hot tub. The pool water was cold (winter time) they could have heated it up a bit and the whirlpool didn't work in the hot tub. Other than that very clean and great breakfast (free).

Friendly staff, nice beds. Rooms are semi clean and the bathroom looks like they redid everything but the tub. Cracks all down the side where the walk connects and looks like unfinished paint on the floor of the tub. Breakfast was a nightmare, no line and no where to hardly sit. The food was only slightly edible, good coffee though. When we called down to ask or more rags on the 2nd night we were told they would be at the front desk opposed to them bringing it to our room.

Clean facilities, friendly staff and conveniently near restaurants and stores.

I generally love staying at Marriott but this locations does have some issues. I will start off positive. The rooms are nice. The food is good and the staff is friendly. Problems: internet is not dependable, two of the five nights I stay I did not receive maid service.

Not the best example of this chain. Tired, needs some serious maintenance. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are comfortable, but tired. Beds are probably the worst I have encountered in 40 years of international travel. I have stayed in some of the best and some of the worst places all over the world.

Clean and good service like all Marriott's.

We loved it came here in July and the staff was very polite rooms were clean breakfast was good kids loved it we've been back 3 times since then staff remembered us treated us very well! We will definitely be back!

Staff was friendly. Room didn't smell so good when we arrived. One of the beds had a hump/lump in the middle & squeaked! Breakfast was ok. The oatmeal was good & so was the juice but the biscuits just tasted like flour & the sausage wasn't great. I asked the front desk for an herbal tea-she was more than helpful, even went to the back to get more tea (they didn't have any-it was all black tea). Would have given more stars but I have stayed at other SpringHill Suites that have been a LOT better & expected the same at this one but was a little disappointed.

Family and children friendly, front desk staff was exemplary they answered every question before I could ask, check in and out was smooth and painless, the rooms are clean and up-to-date, we will definitely visit again.

Great hotel that was very easy to get to. Loved the welcome package waiting in line the room. Staff was friendly and courteous. Comfortable beds and clean up room, too.

The employees were helpful and courteous. The bathroom could have been cleaner. The beds were uncomfortable.

Nice hotel with a modern and clean look. The rooms are spacy and have a kitchenette area and 2 TVs. Great breakfast and small indoor pool. Service was good but could've been better. As far as location goes, it's right off of a main road. All in all, good stay.

Maybe it's just this location. But my room was okay. Room seems outdated. Curtain is ripped. Sofa doesn't look very clean. Good things about this location. The staff is very nice and very accommodating. Three stars for hotel. 5 stars for the staff.

First time coming here. Checked in and turned around and checked out after seeing a large roach crawling on the sprinkler. The front desk clerk apologized and said she doesn't know why but they have been on the third floor lately. Brushing it off saying it's just a wood roach and that they are usually on the first floor. Ummmm… a roach is a roach. Disgusted! Never will stay at a Springhill. See photos in comments below!

Rooma were spacious, staff were friendly, and there were two televisions. All in all a good visit!

Wonderful all around great service, atmosphere and everything else.

This hotel was not very clean. We stayed in room 212 and were not happy. Dirty elevator, stained carpets in room, bathroom ventilation brought in heavy cigerette odor, trash cans overflowing onto floor next to ice machine, crib that was brought to room was filthy and stained. We ended up borrowing one from the Fairfield Inn next door, so maybe they have better housekeeping. The dining tables had not been wiped down when we went to the continental breakfast, and I only saw the maid walk throuh dining area one time during our 30 minutes in dining area. Seems that hotel is either poorly staffed, lazy, or mismanaged. Maybe all of the above. The front desk girl was apologetic and returned our points, but we won't be staying here again.

Loved the place but the towel rack in bathroom was broken.

Excellent. Very clean and nice staff. I would stay here every time I come to Baton Rouge.
