Stayed at Day Inn for 6 weeks for Govt training. My stay here was pleasant. The staff and ownership were great to deal with! Butch, Ryan, Carmen and Kenny were very hospitable. I never had a problem the whole time I stayed here. A lot to be said from the problems with other hotels in the area. I;e Best western, Super 8;etc.

What a great experience, start to finish the easiest stay I've had. Great people, good neighborhood, super convenient, and the staff was amazing. I love Mia, she'll help with anything, even directions! Will definitely be back!

Would never stay here enough said. Room smelled awful. Nice man tryed help but lady was not nice. They arent honest. Place needs cleaned up. Tbis place is cheap you get what you pay for a nasty room… feet got dirty from floor… never ever stay here. I walked out. Lady was very rude. She knew we were right.

Ok… I am writing an updated review for my previous one I wrote an hour ago. ****** Almost immediately after posting my mediocre review, the owner's son called me asking me how he can make the room situation right. Stunned and deeply impressed, I accepted his offer to look at other rooms relatively close to the one I had. Ryan at the front desk came in minutes and recognized my frustration with my original room (the carpet was so dirty that it blackened my baby's feet). He was not defensive or nasty, but listened and patiently solved the problem. (This young man is such a credit to this establishment. He needs a raise. ) They upgraded me to a better room that did have a few issues, but it had clearly been vacuumed, smelled so much better, crisp and clean bedding, and had a clean AC unit. (you can see the vacuum streaks). As a mom of a toddler, I was interested in a clean floor that wouldn't blacken her little feet! I would say paying attention to small details would take this hotel to higher level. I am honestly so excited that these people care enough about reviews that they were willing to make it right immediately. It's not the Hilton, but with owners like this, it's worth giving a try. Went from 2 to 4 stars. I am a Wyndham Rewards Member.

The room was very clean and had decent beds. Butch and Ryan were awesome but management is severely lacking. My wife made reservations online for 2 double beds. Upon check-in, we asked to upgrade to 2 queens since they told me they could not upgrade on the phone when I called them 7 hours prior to my arrival. Ryan had to call the owner (Mia) to see what the rate difference would be because he didn't know how she would want to handle it. Mia wanted to charge $60+ to upgrade for 2 nights even though in the computer there was no difference in rate. He did give me a corporate discount which helped some but still let me paying an extra $48.26. Skip forward 2 days, we get a call from Butch at the front desk telling me about a $20 pet fee! Now let me say this, Butch is very kind and professional and is only doing his job as instructed by Mia. If I had a business I would hire him and Ryan both! Anyway, online it says that they are pet friendly and says nothing of a pet fee. We were not asked if we had a pet at check-in so I figured it was a non-issue. When I talked with him, he pulled out a price sheet and showed me the difference in upgrade was over $10 a night lower than what the owner was going to charge me before Ryan applied the discount! The owner is just making things up as she goes! Now to this point, no angry words had been used nor had voices been raised.

Motel was quiet, and nice and clean. Carmen the cleaning lady made sure we had everything we needed while we were there.

Love the hardwood floors, the cleanliness, — the breakfast could be improved to match others but all in all was a great experience.

Great hotel for a quick nights sleep, for me and my 6yr old daughter. Clean, comfortable bed. It's not some uppity, high class hotel. But for a clean, cozy place to catch some rest, why complain?

Behind some gas stations with one exit and entrance. Rooms were presented well for the price, sheets were okay enough for one night but probably not much more than that. Complimentary breakfast in a small room at the lobby.

My room was very clean and the owner Mia is wonderful! The rooms are fairly priced and she will do anything to make sure you have a pleasant stay!

I stopped in on my way down to Atlanta on the coldest day of the year. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the room heater worked fine, good cable TV, inexpensive, and a free continental breakfast in the morning. Good value. Thanks Kenny!

The rooms were clean, the breakfast was pretty good for the price, the front desk receptionist was very nice and informative and it was in a pretty quiet location. I enjoyed it immensely.

My family and I were looking for a quiet place to crash for the night, we saw the Days Inn sign off the interstate. I have stayed at other Days Inns before, but this one here in Richmond Ky was superb. The customer service was exceptional, checking in was quick and easy, no waiting. The staff was very knowledgeable about their job. What really surprised me is what type of room I wanted. Being a smoker, they had one on the ground floor, next to the pool which we really enjoyed. The room had been remodeled with newly updated bedding and furniture, everything was as cozy as could be. I have read past reviews of other guests who have complained of bugs, bed bugs, etc, to my surprise I had no issues and like most people would do check room before occupying it. I will clear this up with one last comment, I myself have been working in the hospitality field since 1996, so I'm to say that this Days Inn here in Richmond Ky is deserving of the 5 Star Rating that I have given and when back in the area, will definitely be my place to stay. Noteworthy to mention is checking out was a breeze and the continental breakfast was excellent.

Pretty clean and offer a military discount, owner was very friendly.

Extremely run down and dirty. Bathroom fan cover missing, fan does not work, toilet was nasty. Stand up light cord repaired with medical tape which is coming off and exposing bare hot wires. Holes in the walls, burn holes in the bed sheets. Wyndham/Days inn CEO should have to spend a night in this place and spend his own money to do so. 100% sure he wouldn't spend 1 minute here.

Nicer than the one in Lexington better breakfaat nicer rooms and asked for late check out with no problem.

Owner/manager and staff are really sweet and helpful. Hotel is old and it shows but it's well cleaned and safe.

Awesome owners and a great staff. Very helpful and considerate. Will do everything in their power to make sure that your stay is smooth and easy as possible. By far best hotel on exit and probably best hotel in Richmond. That is taking price, room cleanliness, accommodations, and hospitality all in to account. You can find nice rooms and better amenities at other hotels but you will also pay for those too. If you want to lay your head down in a clean room and get up and go, then this is the place for you.

Friendly place with great staff. The cleaning lady's are very attentive.

Run down disgusting dump. Moldy bathtub, outlets with no faceplates almost dangling out of the wall, dirty bedding, cigarette burn in the sheet. Found out the AAA or AARP discount was the normal rate and when I asked for the discount in the morning Mr. India who was most likely the owner got stupid and argumentative with me.

I've stayed at the Days Inn Richmond Kentucky for 2 weeks August 31st through September 15th. The rooms are very clean the people are very nice and very accommodating. The price is extremely reasonable. I read other reviews I do not agree with those whatsoever while I was here I did take the time to walk around the motel several times it's really close to different restaurants and convenience stores. The other rooms that I was able to see into we're very nice indeed they've all been recently updated nice large TVs the linens are fresh crisp and clean. Overall I would have to say I will recommend this hotel and if I'm ever in the area this is where I will be staying again. Thank you to the Days Inn Richmond Kentucky.

Rooms are farely standard. There was nothing really wrong with them. Beds were comfortable and TV was large. Breakfast was alright but not overly abundant with options, but there were some interesting things that I liked. Overall a pretty good stay.

Stayed here for a the weekend. Great location, love the renovated rooms! My family love it.

Bed bugs! In the room! The hotel refused to refund my money back to me, even tho we didn't stay there. Do not stay in this hotel unless you want to have an infestation of bed bugs! photos are posted above in the photo area!

The room was great. They have been updated and I love the blue color scheme. Clean, had comfy beds, and good Wi-Fi. The staff really cares. They were also pet friendly. At check in they gave my pup a complementary all natural dog treats. Love places that not only makes me feel welcomed but makes my puppy feel welcomed too.

This day was fine but we were requested wheelchair accessible room initially I was on the second floor then give us a room on the first floor which was still not wheelchair accessible for therefore unable to get into the restroom and cigarette burns on the furniture in the room which was supposed to be a non-smoking room. But other than that it appeared to be clean decent stay.

Really a nice and amazing hotel ever I seen. The place is very calm and quite. The service of the hotel is really mind-blowing and the staffs are so friendly as well as helpful. Use coupon from the red or green hotel books. It's a perfectly fine choice at $50 on a Saturday night. I highly recommended the Days Inn Richmond!

Overall pleasant and professional experience. Arrived a bit late due to flight delays. Walked in on a very nice young man named Randy. He was extremely courteous and helpful and provided all the necessities after a long journey. The rooms were very well laid out, beds nothing short of comfortable and I was able to sleep very well, considering that I'm quite sensitive on that. I would most definitely visit again when I'm around the area. Overall 5 Stars, especially given the decent price tag.

Ground floor, room itself was clean, couldn't take shower till husband cleaned out drain, hair dryer clogged on air intake, did take pictures, 1 inch gap under door to outside anything could crawl in. In need of work. Floor was re-done in wood, no carpet. Staff was nice/friendly. Next trip will bypass to stay someplace else.

This Days Inn had a very friendly staff, clean-new beds, big 40" TV in the room, and even new carpet! Will definitely stay again when I come back through Richmond.

We are located right off I-75 exit 90b heading Southbound and Exit 90 heading Northbound. We are closing located to Eastern Kentucky University and have plenty of eating options in the area. Would give it less than one star if possible. I checked in, saw the room and checked out. The room had a musty smell, the ice machine was empty and falling apart, and I had to request a remote for the t. V. From the front desk and pay a $20 deposit to make sure I didn't steal it. Truly awful.

This place is a dump don't stay here. Over priced dirty. No toilet paper in room. Dirty cup left in room. Hope we don't get bedbugs.

The interior door lock is half busted off, the bathroom ceiling tile is hanging down with the wires and air ducts exposed. The lamp cord is wrapped with yellow tape near the wall outlet. The bed spreads have multiple burn marks in them. The sheets are torn and have burn marks as well. All 6 pillows on the beds are beyond their life expectancy (dingy yellow in color with what appears to be slobber stains). All walls are very dirty. Microwave is dirty on the inside. Not worth staying here. Find a different motel.

Clean and comfy under $100. Pleasant staff from check in Rio check out. From the desk to house keeping. Even a guy on break in the breakfast area made for a pleasant experience. The room smelled clean upon entering and it was clean throughout. We'd just left a hotel in Lexington that was dirty and came here. They "made everything better" and our exhausted family slept soundly in the plush beds then enjoyed one of the more decent continental breakfast. Yay waffle iron.

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had in my entire life. Bar none. We found 2 dead roaches on the floor and 1 Live one under our pillow. The cord on the lamp was patched with tape. The Wi-Fi did not work. (not user error, I am in IT for a living). The TV looked like it had been kicked to the ground — the coax cable was frayed and the picture was horrible. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was hanging down from the ceiling and made a horrible noise when turned on. I booked with priceline and Called them first about the situation hoping to get my money back and book another hotel for the night. (who can sleep someplace when they have seen a live bug crawling under the pillow) The manager of the hotel who is foreign called and yelled at me for calling priceline. She went on to say that because I booked on priceline and got a good deal (57/night) that I should not complain. And that I should have called her to get a new room. She sent up a "guy" to our room. Big mistake letting him in our room. He was combative aggressive and rude. He was also foreign — difficult to understand and did not seem to possess the best language skills. He was waiving a screw driver at us for some reason repeating "there are no bugs in our hotel" like saying it repeatedly would somehow make us forget what we saw. When I showed him one of the dead bugs he stated "it is summer, what do you expect" to which I responded, its summer at my house and there aren't any bugs living in it.

I always enjoyed staying in this hotel. Management is always great and I feel like they're my friends. Breakfast waffle is good. Rooms are always clean.

Only thing I can say, everything in this Days Inn Richmond absolutely very good from their staff and rooms nice and clean as well breakfast well good. Very convenient to all restaurants — walking distance. Be back by November.

Everytime I come to Richmond I always stay at the Days Inn. I just feel very comfortable. Rooms are cleand and good breakfast. I always liked mia and sing the owners which always were nice people. They always asked you if your fine most of all this place is nice to stay.
