Well its been two months of numerous phone calls to manager and still no resolution. Calls never returned by manager including voice message. My comments have disappeared so I've left comments on Welps. My sister called for like the 9th time about a week ago again requesting the tracking number and spoke with someone who said she was the manager and would "have someone check" and my sister asked her who she was going to have check (she said she was manager), she said she would check and call back. She never called bacj. We need tracking number for the clothes that were "supposedly" mailed weeks ago and have yet to arrive. Every time we called before manager was not there except for one time. Its really getting ridiculous. I'm wondering if they were even mailed.

The same woman who took our reservation checked us in. She was not friendly over the phone or in person. The website specifically says pet friendly and when I spoke with her she said she's been working there for 10 years and they do not accept pets and since we were already on the way we had to find other accommodations for our dog. Besides her and the flat out lie that they are pet friendly the establishment is nice.

When I walked into the room the first thing I saw, was a stained piece of furniture. This was really off putting! The couch looked a bit dirty also. I found hair on the sheets that was not mine. GROSS… Common areas need dusting! Hotel is quiet and the morning breafast is good.

I inadvertently deleted my previous review as I wanted to update regarding management not returning my sister's call. We stayed Friday night left Saturday noon. Unfortunately we left two items in the closet. A teal blue dress and a black top that still had the tags on it. We called them and informed them. Called again and were told they were not in closet and they MOST DEFINITELY were. One maid was outside the door at 11 and we told her we had asked for a 1200 checkout. We also spoke to a maid at 12 as we were leaving. My sister has called two more times and the manager is to call her. We are STILL waiting. The front desk maids and other staff were very nice and courteous. Room was clean. Quiet as well. I gave a 1* due to the problem we are having with the return of our property. And not returning my sister's call. Note… my sister called them again for the 4th time. She asked to speak to the manager and the lady asked of she had called earlier about clothing left behind. Well they found them and are supposed to mail.

Nice quiet, clean room. A much needed break from our travels.

Nice hotel and service. Stayed in the king suite and had plenty of room. Breakfast was good with many options.

I love this Hampton. It is just off the Interstate and fairly easy to locate. I honestly don't know what to say, but this hotel far exceeded my expectations. This is what I expect! Amazing.

Very easy to find right off the parkway. I stayed in room 104 other then some loose cocking in the bathroom my room was wonderful there sevice was also great.

This Hampton is clean and the staff is always friendly. The are nice size, everything worked. Breakfast was kind of limited.

Came to Madisonville to watch the solar eclipse. I expected an overcrowded hotel with a short tempered staff. The staff and hotel far exceeded my expectations. The staff was bubbly and had entertainment for the kids while we awaited the big event! They catered in dinner the night before, of course had breakfast, and catered in lunch. Amazing time! Couldn't be more pleased with our time there!

Our beds were super comfy. The room was nice and clean. The hotel has a great, well stocked breakfast. There was coffee and tea at night along with a cookie. A perfect visit.

Our stay at the Hampton Inn and Suites was wonderful. The room was clean, Customer Service went above and beyond, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I would recommend the Hampton Inn and Suites in Madisonville, Ky. To anyone.

Stayed three nights at this location. Considering the area, this is one of the nicer hotels to stay in. I had a 2 queen bed room with a fridge and microwave. Free breakfast, and the to go bag was an unexpected welcomed surprise. Marriott is usually my preferred chain however, after this last visit to the Hampton and Hiltons lately, they may become my new chain for awhile. Staff was very friendly, used the mobile app and check in and out was very smooth. Had one maintenance issue, or operator ignorance, on the window air conditioner and it was resolved quickly the next day (see photos). Highly recommended if in the area and I would stay here again. It's new construction circa 2016-ish. The place is well maintained and staffed. It would be a good or possibly great hotel to stay at, however they truly went cheap on the construction even for a cookie cutter chain as it is. Paper thin walls. Worse than the average hotel. Moderate levels of noise and conversation just bleed through. At night the conversation and TV sound just blare through. All the doors have autoclosing mechanisms that slam the doors shut with such force they bamg and shake the walls.

I didn't stay there, I was just picking up my date. The lady was nice tho.

Brand new hotel March 24. Used the meeting facility for a company function. Everything was as requested and even a couple of extra requests were taken care of. Sleeping room was adequate and everything was very clean. Location by interstate and near lots of restaurants.

Friendly staff, great attention to detail taken in room cleaning. Not every room is equipped with a fridge, however the staff is more than accommodating by providing roll-away beds and extra fridges (as available). The front desk manager For'Meka is a huge "The Walking Dead fan" so make sure to chat her up!

Stayed at the hamton in madisonville ky. Room and hotel was what you would expect for the price.

I stayed at Hampton Inn in Madisonville in early July and it was the worst stay ever. Room wasdirty, hallway smelled bad as well as the elevator. There was bugs in both beds. That I got a infection on some of the bites. However the breakfast was awesome.

Booked online with ease. Very friendly, very very clean hotel. Yes, I used a black light. Hah! Everything was very professional and squared away. Plan on staying again if the need arises. Hotel is off the main strip and looks well protected from random traffic and visitors.

After reading reviews of other hotels in the area we opted to pay a little more for the Hampton Inn and Suites. Glad we did, the property was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. A mini fridge and or microwave would have been nice. The shower head was nice and high with plenty of towels. The breakfast was better than expected from a hotel "Continental Breakfast". It was fresh and refilled frequently. With both hot and cold items it was more than sufficient to start the day. The afternoon cookies were a treat for the kids. Coffee and tea are available all day. Had three users on the free Wi-Fi in our room simultaneously, with no issues. Two of the users played GW2 with no problem while the third kept up to date on Facebook. The staff was very helpful with recommendations for local eateries. Housekeeping showed a touch of class when they found my daughters stuffed dog wrapped in the blankets it was waiting expectantly on the bed when we returned to her delight and amusement. Good job.

It is a nice place if you are not trying to work. Clean and quite however, there is almost no internet access in the rooms (0.10 — 0.17 Mbps). I figured it was just my room (214) but after venturing down to the lobby to continue working I ran into several guests being forced into the same situation. Sad really especially since there aren't even network ports in the room so you can plug in. Overall I would say it is a nice place for non work ventures, but we were in town to work and paid $100+ a night for no support.

After reading some of the other reviews that expressed dissatisfaction, I've concluded they must have either been having a bad day or there has been MAJOR improvements. I stayed there Thursday night, July 29, 2010. I had never used the Hampton Inn before and admit to being a bit apprehensive as I got there. It took all of about 30 seconds before my fears and apprehension was relieved. The staff at the front desk was super-polite and friendly and got me checked in quickly. I was given excellent directions and recommendations for several close — by restaurants as I stood there. My room was very clean and fresh. I normally have difficulty getting comfortable and sleeping in hotels, but the king bed was fantastic! I fell asleep quickly and got a good night's rest. The bathroom was roomy and nicely appointed, and I loved having a large, walk-in shower and not a tub shower. The shower head was well above my head (I'm 6 feet tall) and not at waist level, like in other hotels. The towels and linens were right where they should be within easy reach. I met the manager several times in my coming and going and she was very pleasant and cordial, and made sure that I was happy with the room and kept asking if I needed anything. I'm sorry that others experienced problems but I would encourage you to give the Hampton Inn and Suites in Madisonville another chance. I will gladly recommend it to my friends and business associates.
